After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

"I've looked everywhere but, she's small so, maybe... We should get the others to help us search everywhere. I'm sure she couldn't have gotten far," Tonks said, stepping out of the way as Snape pushed past her.

He immediately took action and went off in the direction of the kitchen where he found the Weasley twins. "Stop fooling around. It's time you two started acting like the responsible Order members Dumbledore insists you are. We have an emergency and need you to assist us in locating the young Miss Sinistra."

George jumped off his stool and stared at Snape. "What do you mean? She can't have left the house, so she's hiding somewhere. We'll just split the house into quadrants. She's a little girl and this is a safe place. I'm sure she's fine." George didn't know why he was reassuring Snape, although he thought perhaps he didn't believe his own words and was trying to calm himself.

Tara pushed Tonks from the room and hurried to clothe herself properly. Why would Dani disappear? She knew not to leave the house and she wasn't one to play tricks on adults by hiding. Tara finished dressing and threw the door open to reveal Tonks again. "Tell me everything again."

Tonks paced outside the room and her head sagged as Professor Sinistra appeared and asked for the events to be relayed to her once more. "Dani and I were in our room. I had renlarged her doll house and when she remembered that she had no dolls with her, she thought she'd go and ask you if had packed any. I didn't think anything of allowing her to walk a couple doors down to ask you without my supervision," she said, staring at the floor, feeling incredibly guilty for allowing the young girl out of her sight.

"Yes, well, I assumed that you two might have a better idea of how to find all the various hiding she might wander into. I will canvas the area outside of the house," Snape replied with a sneer at the twins.

Since Ron was taking a nap in one of the bedroom Harry had been walking around the house alone, checking out the new place, when he came to the kitchen where Snape, Fred, and George were. They seemed to be discussing something and Harry slipped in the doorway to see if he could catch what they were talking about.

"Wait... wait.... what?" Fred asked, confused. He was busy and had a knack of tuning Snape out. BUt he was persisitent so Fred gave him some a little attention. "Don't get your boxers in a wad.. assuming you have some on, you dirty old man." Fred bowed, really not seeing the seriousness of it all and went off hunting Dani through the house.

Tara grabbed the younger woman by the arm and shook her slightly. "She isn't a baby and I would have trusted her to walk that distance as well. We have to assume she's somewhere in the house, and if she's not, then we have to find her. She's only a few months into the Wizarding World, afterall."

George turned and spotted Harry standing by the door. "Dani is missing, but she can't have gone long. Figure out where Fred is looking and look elsewhere. I"m going to try to find the lowest level, like a basement, and start there."

"Right," Tonks said, determined. "Professor Snape went to the kitchen to enlist the help of the others so, I'll go back to our room to make sure she didn't sneak back while I was looking around for her."

Snape shook his head, unable to even form the words to respond to the twins. He walked out of the kitchen door and canvased the small yard before spying a toy store across the street. Thinking that the girl may have wandered over, he crossed over to see if she was there.

Tara sighed and put her hands at her sides. She would wring them if she could and that would just stress her even more. She paced the room, trying to think of where Dani might hide in the house. It wasn't like her to hide, but no one would be able to enter the house. It wasn't like her to leave the house either. She was thinking in circles. Tara moved to the window to look down at the street and saw Snape leaving the confines of the yard.

Dani appeared in the doorway of the shop with a doll clutched in her hands. She was a pretty thing with silky blond hair and blue-green eyes that opened and shut. The man behind the counter was still blinking at the coin she'd given him and Dani figured she was in the clear. One look at Snape rolling across the street like a black tidal wave sent Dani scampering around that same hulking man on the sidewalk and down the alleyway beside the shop. She darted between a fire escape and a dumpster and crouched low.

The little girl had moved past her man twice and now Snape had appeared as well. Bella had to laugh with sheer joy at how her plan had worked out. She had him and soon she'd have them all. Bella stepped from where she hid and gestured to the minion before snapping her fingers at the others. "Get him. Get them both."

Snape thought he recognized the man standing on the sidewalk near the shop but, he was distracted when he saw Dani dart around him and down an alley. He quickened his pace, he cloak billowing out behind him as he dodged one of those muggle transportation contraptions and stepped onto the curb. As he entered the alley, he found himself surrounded by his former 'friends' with Bella standing just beyond them. His wand was in his hand in an instant, without any thought at all, and he had two of the Death Eaters hexed and on the ground an instant later.

"Don't move, Severus," Bella warned, amusement written clearly across her face. "If you so much as raise that wand against my men again, I will kill the child. Who's to say I already haven't done so? Come quietly and she might live a bit longer. Either way... you can't win. My men might be morons, but I am not." She gestured to him with one of her small, pale hands before moving forward, blood red robes swirling.

Dani pressed against the wall, wondering if her magic could make her a brick or something that was part of it. Something loud and scary and bad was happening. She pressed her hands over her ears and made sure not to cry.

"You could not have disposed of the body so quickly," Snape sneered and he was surprised to find that she hadn't taken his wand away, yet. He was equally surprised to find that her movements still had an effect on him, depsite the fact that Tara was just feet away. "And just where am I to come quietly?"

Bella stopped in front of Snape, pleased at the look in his eyes. He wasn't frightened yet, only wary, but there was desire there, and it was for her. "You of all people should know what I can do with a body in a short amount of time, Severus," Bella's voice was a purr. "The Dark Lord wanted to play with a Mudblood child. He's so tired of the adults with all their begging and pleading. They don't even scream anymore. But a little girl... our Master will enjoy breaking her down and then building her trust back up again. She'll be a little toy for him to play with." Bella ran her palm down Severus's face and across his shoulder, tracing the strong lines of his body before she reached his hand and grabbed the wand. "The Dark Lord wishes to see you as well."

He briefly closed his eyes as her hand ran down his face, partially out of the physical reaction she was causing in him and partly because he could just imagine what kind of fun the Dark Lord and Bella could have with a mudblood child, especially one to whom he was becoming increasingly attached. "I suppose I should feel honored that I am worthy of such a large escort with such a prestigous leader," he sneered, maintaing a grip on his wand, despite Bella grabbing it.

Bella held onto his wand with her left hand, and she quickly brought her own wand up to point at his arm halfway down. "Let go of your wand, Severus, or I'll have to practice my favorite hex on you. And I believe you know how handy I am with a severing hex?" The men around her crowded closer as if to help and she glared at the ones within her vision. "Get back, fools. This is my dance."

"As the lady commands," Snape said as he released his wand and backed up to perform a small bow. He cast a glance around at the men gathered around them and wondered where Dani had run off to. She had obviously been smart enough to conceal herself for Snape didn't really believe the Death Eaters had caught hold of her.

Bella stepped back with both wands in hand, a small polite smile playing about her lips. "You made me wait much longer than I would have liked, Severus. That is simply not allowed. I don't believe we have any of those silly rules about not being allowed to mark you anymore." She flicked her wand at him, cutting him deeply across his arm where her wand had been pointing just moments ago. "Knock him out," she ordered to the man standing immediately behind her. "The rest of you need to find that child. Our Lord really would like to play with a Mudblood like that." Without waiting to see if her orders were carried out, Bella disapparated. Her Master would be so pleased.

He hissed and clung to his arm as it was sliced open and began bleeding. It was just enough of a distraction and before he knew it, he lay unconcious and at the mercy of his captors. One of them levitated him. "I'll take him to the cemetary meeting area," he told his colleagues before disappearing with the traitor. The others dispersed through the alley to try and find the girl who had slipped away from them.

Bella fell before the Dark Lord, offering him Snape's wand. "We've found the traitor, Master. The men are bringing him through." Her words were just out as the popping sound let them know others had arrived. Bella saw the Dark Lord survey the group and she stood to move to Snape's side. "I left some to find the child of his Mudblood lover. I thought she might be an amusement to you, but they'll return to you if you so desire."

Dani heard someone moving on the other side of teh dumpster and she held her breath. Dropping to the ground silently, she peered at the ground from under the huge stinking metal box. There were three sets of feet. One in front of the dumpster and the other two at the far end of the alley. If she could get by this man, she might make it to the street. Dani wasn't foolishly brave by nature, but the seriousness of the words spoken had sunken in. She took a deep breath and leaned against the wall, kicking the dumpster with all her strength. It flew into the man in front of her, sending him flying as well. Within half a second, she was on her feet and running for the closest end of the alley. The men behind her shouted and sent a few poorly aimed hexes her way, but Dani was in the street and on her way towards the house.

Tara had seen Snape slip down the alley and she assumed that he had seen something. It was only when her daughter came flying out of the alley that Tara gave a scream of horror and raced across the room, nearly knocking Tonks out of the way. "Dani's down there. Spells. Snape."

Snape roused from unconciousness as he felt himself disapparating. He found himself back in the meeting place they had used on the occassion he had been given over to Bella for being late and lying about his whereabouts. "You've done well," he heard the Dark Lord's voice close to him and saw that he stood in front of Bella who was beside him. The Dark Lord stroked the side of Bella's cheek before turning pleased and eager eyes on him. "I've been longing to see this traiter punished," he smiled just before Snape felt a shock of pain course through him, forcing him to his knees. As the pain ebbed and opened his eyes and saw that the wound in his arm was pulsing blood.

"Heal him. We don't want Severus dying for mere blood loss before we've had a chance to punish him appropriately," Snape heard the Dark Lord order as he moved away.

Tonks was smushed against the wall as Professor Sinistra flew past her yelling about Dani and Snape and spells. She hurried back into the house and shouted, "Fred, George, she's out here. Death Eaters."

Dani raced up the walkway, not knowing she had entered the wards and the protection of the house. The front door was opened and she flung herself into her waiting mother's arms. "Mum. Mum," Dani kept repeating, letting her terrified mother run her hands over her to check for wounds.

Bella stuck out her lip prettily before moving to Snape's side. "Oh, darling Severus. The Dark Lord wants to play with you, so I can't watch you bleed right now." She made a regretful face before placing her wand against his wound. The Master had said to heal him, but he really only wanted the bleeding to stop. Instead of binding the wounds or using a binding spell, Bella grinned as she heated his flesh, burning the wound closed. "That looks like it hurts, Severus." Her fingers danced across his burned arm, mock concern on her face.

Snape bit back a scream of surprise and winced as the arm was burned. He heard the Dark Lord's ammused laughter from beyond Bella, "Cleverly done. Perhaps I should allow you the honor of entertaining me with this traitor, my dear Bella. Or, would you prefer something a bit more private..."

Snape looked up at Bella and wondered where the Dark Lord's remark may have come from. Had he sensed Snape's reaction to Bella? Did she really desire him? Or was he reading too much into that last statement?

Bella returned immediately to her Master's side, pleased that she had been able to amuse him and earn his smile. "I would not dirty myself with the likes of him unless you ordered it, Master. He is a blood traitor and has lowered his pristine bloodlines by using that Mudblood. Being around Dumbledore has softened him, however. He will be boring to break." She tossed her dark hair over her shoulder as she eyed him hungrily.

While Bella and the Dark Lord discussed the proceedings, Snape stood. He was being foolhardy; he knew that the end result would be death and it was only a matter of how fast or slow it would be and it would be faster if he could bore them but, he wouldn't give them the satisfaction of thinking him softened. His arm still burned but, the pain was bearable and he was no longer bleeding. "If I am going to be little use to you as sport, perhaps it would be better to just get the deed over with and execute me," he suggested.

The Dark Lord waved his hand in dismissal to the other Death eaters, slinking an arm around Bella's waist. As he leaned in to whisper in her ear, he pointed his wand and ensured that Snape could not hear what he said as he writhed on the floor in pain.

Bella luxuriated in her Master's attention. She was a favorite of his and could give him things that the men of the group could never do, but she knew she was by no means guarenteed a place at his side. The fact that he was drawing her to him meant that she had done well and that he was excited about what was to come.

Listening carefully, Bella nodded, her hands carefully placed to balance herself against his chair. She would touch him, but Snape was there and the Dark Lord didn't allow her such license. Once he was finished, Bella straightened and moved back towards Snape.

"You mustn't do anything foolish like that again, Severus," Bella pushed him off balance in the direction of his chair. "Speak when spoken to. Don't beg to be killed. You'll beg, but only after the pain. Now, our Master wants to know how long you've been helping Dumbledore."

Snape stumbled and had to use the chair to steady himself. Bella bore down on him and he was surprised by her first question, though he shouldn't have been surprised that they would interrogate him. He knew many of Dumbledore's secrets and if they found out just how long he had been working for Dumbledore, it would take a very long time for him to die for they would certainly wish to extract every last ounce of information from him and they would enjoy torturing it from him before resorting to veritaserum. He couldn't decide if it would be better to lie or to just not say anything.

Just then, a thought crossed his mind. If Dani had gotten away and seen the predicament he was in, perhaps she could tell the others. Would the Weasley twins remember their way here? Would anyone bother to come and save him? There was a slim chance so, perhaps lengthening the amount of time it took to kill him would be better... Snape remained defiantly silent and braced himself for an attack from Bella.
