After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

"Hmm..," Fred said, as if thinking it over. He loosened his grip on her and held her out so he could see her. Fred beckoned george over so they could make a decision together. With her arm length away, but still firm in his grasp, Fred leaned over to George. "What do you think? Trustworthy? " Fred looked over her questionably..

George laughed heartily, his head tipped back. "Not in the least, but she's telling the truth this time, so I say you let her go. Be a good girl, Ginny, and we won't beat Harry up for letting you think you want to share a room with him."

Tonks watched the Weasley drama unfold but, she was getting tired of waiting. "So, what are the sleeping arrangements going ot be, then?" she asked, tapping her foot lightly on the floor, her arms crossed.

"Ginny, Hermione, Dani, and yourself can figure out where you're going to sleep between the four of you, unless Professor Sinistra has a say. Fred and I will room together; Harry and Ron will stay together. And the professors... can share a room." He darted a glance at them to see if they would say anything. Everyone knew about the two of them, but it was something no one discussed."

Tara stooped down in front of Dani, ignoring the huff from Ginny and the looks from the other young adults. "It's up to you, love. Do you want to stay with me or do you want to stay with one of the girls?"

Dani shifted from foot to foot before holding out her hand and taking Tonks'. "I can stay with Tonks. She shows me her neat hair changing trick." She felt comforted by the fact that her mother was sharing a room with Snape. That was the way families worked, and even if no one else agreed, she was going to think of them as a family.

"Sounds good to me," Tonks said, smiling down at Dani. "Ginny and Hermione can room together so we're all even," she continued with a wary glance at Ginny who, she suspected, would not exactly be happy to not get her way.

"Fine," Ginny said with a sigh, but she leaned against Fred to let him know she wasn't upset. "You guys are going to have to get used to the idea of Harry and I eventually, but in the meantime..." Ginny grabbed Hermione's arm and tugged her. "We're going to go scope out the best room."

Dani looked up at Tonks with a slightly worried face. "Do you think they'll have bunk beds? I like those. The twins let me sleep on the top bunk." She pulled on Tonks' hand, hoping they'd have a chance to get a good room.

Tara watched Dani wander off with Tonks before she slid her arm through Snape's. He was being uncharacteristically quiet. "Is that all right with you, Professor? I'm sure we can rearrange things if you'd rather room by yourself. Or maybe with Potter or one of the twins. I know how social you like to be with those charming boys."

Tonks smiled down at Dani. "Well, if they don't have bunk beds, I'm sure I can transfigure one up for us and you can have the top bunk," she said as she was dragged down the hallway. She stopped and opened a door to reveal a smallish room with, low and behold, a bunk bed. "I think I found our room."

Snape remained silent throughout the childrens' bickering. He stared at Tara after she made her remark about him and 'the boys'. Though he knew she was only joking, he still couldn't believe that she would say something like that. "I think I can manage sharing a room with you," he said, placing a hand on the arm he had looped through his. "Perhaps we should attempt to find a decent room before the children destroy them in their own search."

"Haven't you figured out yet that you have all the power here, Severus? You could kick any of them out of a room to take for your own, or you could force them to clean this house repeatedly to your specifications. Whatever you say, if you sneer the right way, they'll do. That goes for me too."

George made gagging faces behind Tara and Snape's back before turning to his twin. "Alright, Gred. Let's go find ourselves a room."

"Righty-O, Forge. We should get the room that is the fartherest away from them..," Fred said, making the same gagging faces as George, pointing at Sinistra and Tara. "But.. I think we should get a room close to Ginny. Because we should stand guard." Fred nodded, as his eyes followed Hermione rather than Ginny to see which way they went.

"I think maybe we should get a room close to Harry, not to Ginny. I'm not sure your motives are as pure as you'd like to pretend. In all your guarding of Ginny, I'd bet money that you'll be sneaking around with Hermione. We have important work to do." George ignored the fact that he'd been kissing Tonks earlier. He was under the vaguest of impressions that it had bothered her. He would shove it aside and worry about it later.

"I would rather use other forms of persuasion with you," Snape replied, snaking his arm around her waist and leading her down the hallway. He inspected a couple of rooms before he found one which seemed set up especially for them and, knowing Dumbledore, it probably had been. It contained a large bed, two closets, two dressers, and two nightstands. Off of the bedroom, there was a private bath with a large tub stocked with anything they could possibly need.

Tara sighed at the sight of the room and let her body rest against Snape's. She was glad Tonks had taken on Dani, because Tara didn't want to be responsible for anyone. "But I like it when you sneer at me," Tara said absently, studying the room. "I like all your forms of persuasion."

Snape chuckled and shut the door as they moved deeper into the room. He walked over to the open bathroom door to inspect it a bit more closely. "The tub isn't quite as large as the one in my quarters but, it is still large enough for two," he said.

Tara perked up considerably at the sound of Snape laughing. It was something they hadn't done much lately, and it sounded wonderful after their morning. "I could use a bath," Tara said agreeably. "Do you think Dani is fine, or should I go and check on her?" She tumbled fully clothed onto the bed as if to protest having to leave the room again.

Snape sat down on the bed beside Tara, propping himself on his elbow and stroking the side of her face. "I'm sure Tonks can be trusted to look after Dani, though her other uses may be questionable," Snape said.

Tara turned her body so that she could look at Snape. "Be kind, Severus. She's a useful witch. She's clumsy, but she's a good Auror. I feel safe with Dani in her care." She wrapped her arm over him and rested her face against his chest. There was something... comforting about being with him.

Hermione went with Ginny to go pick out a room. They passed by a few when they found one that was suitable enough. "How about this one?" Hermione asked Ginny, walking into the room.

"Even my own brother.. questioning my motives...," Fred said with a sly grin. "BUt alright. You win.. it's probably best anyways." Fred nodded and nonchalantly followed after Harry and Ron. "Um.. George.. by the way, where are we?"

George's eyes glinted mischiviously. "I don't know, Fred... no clue at all. Somewhere outside of London, I guess. What I can tell you is that I intend to do a bit of exploring later, after we're all settled. Do you know any locking charms?"

"Do I know a locking charm?" Fred said in a tone that said he knew twenty different locking charms. "Yeah.. of course I do. I'm a smart man, George. Smart man." Fred couldn't remember a single one.. but Hermione would know.

Something about locking the others in didn't sit right with Fred, especially with the break in at Grimmauld, but he nodded in agreement. He didn't want any accusations about him sneaking out to see Hermione.. or vise versa.. not that that was a bad idea.

"I wonder if this place came stocked. I'm hungry."

George grinned and headed back towards teh kitchen. "I'm hungry too. Its funny, because we didn't eat all that long ago, but maybe all this traveling qualifies as a strenuous activity." He let that line of reasoning drop because Fred and disappeared with Hermione for quite a while and he didn't want to know if they had been up to any other activities. "Let's see what we can find."

"We should probably cook dinner for everyone. I could make that pie.. I made back at our place..," Fred sighed. "I want to go home. Let's just go out and go on a killing spree.. get things done, and just go home. Hiding isn't fun, "Fred said, opening the cabinents one by one and taking inventory of their contents.

"Yum," George rubbed his stomach and hopped onto the counter, pulling a box of crackers from the drawer. "That pie was delicious, Fred. You should make two, one for them and one for us. And I think I saw ice cream too. Imagine the pie with melting ice cream on it." He thought he was drooling just from talking about it. "Do you remember how to make it?"
