After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

Tonks shrugged and ran a hand through her hair. "Short hair is better for flying. And I'm partial to purple," she said. "Why?"

George rolled onto his side and looked at Tonks. "Because you're a lovely, lovely woman, but you try to hide it through brash looks. I don't know if its because you don't want people to see you really or what, but... I love the long dark hair because I know its really you."

"Purple's so much more fun than black," she pouted, hiding her true feelings on the matter. "Besides, what's the point in being a metamorphmagus if all you want to do is always look like yourself?"

George sighed. "Well, you don't ever look like yourself, so I guess we're talking about extremes here. What is it that makes you change back without realizing it?" He tried to look casual, but he was already formulating ways to trick her into showing him her true self again.

Tara nodded at Snape's suggestion. "Yes, once you have your things together, come up to the Astronomy Tower. We can go to Dumbledore's together. I'm certain it will take us longer to get our things together than you." She grinned and put a hand on Dani's shoulder, steering the girl out the door.

"It rarely happens," Tonks shrugged. "I have to concentrate to change my appearance, even if it's from something unnatural back to my natural appearance so, I don't really know. I suppose it probably has something to do with comfort level. It seems counter-intuitive, I know but, it seems like the only times I change back without knowing, I'm extremely comfortable and relaxed."

"We'll also need to locate the other children. Do you have any idea where they might be? Perhaps I'll just let Dumbledore take care of them... I'll see you in your tower," he said before turning on his heel and heading down to the dungeon.

George grinned at Tonks and stroked the small bare patch of skin where her shirt had pulled up. "I'm all for figuring out what I have to do to make you comfortable and relaxed, Tonks." He smiled warmly at her before removing his hand from her side. "We should get back."

Tara and Dani climbed up to the top of the Astronomy Tower. Tara was glad to be home in her tower, although it was starting to feel less and less like the place she belonged. Perhaps because it was entirely unsuited to raising a child or perhaps it was because Severus wasn't there. Either way, her attention was diverted from this line of thinking by Dani's whooping and screaming from her room. Tara ran for her daughter's room, only to be stopped by the sight of a huge dollhouse and a pile of stuffed toys on her bed.

ooc: awwwwww... Dani's so cute. I know she didn't post but, she's cute!

Tonks shivered at the sensation of George's soft caress on her bare skin, though it was only partially from shock and because she was a little ticklish. "Yes, let's go," she said, getting up quickly before this got any more awkward and confusing for her. "We still haven't been to see Dumbledore."

Snape walked back to the dungeon and began to pack some of his things. He wasn't certain how long he would be away but, he and Tara still needed to prepare for the students to arrive, which meant they couldn't be gone longer than a few weeks to a month at most.

George looked askance at Tonks. "And why, pray tell, do we need to go see Dumbledore? I'm not exactly high man on the information tree. I'm sure he's working all this out with Snape, his trusty sidekick. And I think Snape would gouge his own eyes out if he knew I'd called him that."

She giggled and continued walking toward the Headmaster's office. "Well, I don't care if Snape is already knows everything. We're also members of the Order and have every right to find out things from Dumbledore himself, even if we are new," she said, nodding her head emphatically.

"Fine, fine, Tonks," George agreed amicably as they walked. "But I fully expect YOU to be the one to demand our rights. I'll be supporting you 100%, from about 2 feet behind you. You see if you can get him to tell us where we're going and what we're doing next, and I'll try not to look impertinent. We'll be a perfect team."

"You'll be able to stand back and not say anything? Why do I find that hard to believe? I don't see why he wouldn't tell us. I mean, Snape might keep the information to himself unless he was specifically told to tell us but, I really dont' see why Dumbledore would want to keep it a secret," Tonks said just as they arrived at the stone gargoyle entrance to the Headmaster's office. She stated the password and they a ascended the staircase.

Fred reached over tha took Hermione in his arms, leaning over with her. She was dangling from the bed, and there was nothing she could do about it but cling to Fred. "This place isn't as fun knowing that I'm allowed up here now. Although, I have to admit the company is nice." Fred grinned down at her, loving the nervous smile on her face. "I'm not going to drop you. Promise.. but we should maybe go look for the others... we've been missing for a long time now.."

George bounded into the office behind Tonks, taking in the Headmaster. Dumbledore's eyes were glittering with humor and he nodded at them in greeting. Despite his words to Tonks, George stepped up to the desk. "We're ready to move on, Headmaster, if that's what you have in store for us. I don't think any of us want to sit around and wait for the other cauldron to boil. Can you tell us anything yet?"

Tara finally got Dani to get a move on when she shrunk down the new toys and packed them in the girl's suitcase. "Now, Dani... we can't wait any longer. We've packed the clothes we have here and we'll just have to get more later." Tara shrunk both bags and stuck them in her pocket. "Come on, darling. Let's wait for Professor Snape downstairs."

Dumbledore smiled at George Wealsley's enthusiasm and Nymphadora Tonks' surprise at the young man. "As a matter of fact, I was hoping you would arrive. Professors Snape and Sinistra should be here momentarily. I have arranged another, more secure place, for you to stay."

Snape had finished packing and was on his way up to the astronomy tower when he bumped into the very people he was going to meet. "Are you all packed?" he asked, despite the fact he could see perfectly well that they were.

Tara and Dani stopped short at the bottom of the stairs, greeting Snape with a smile. "Yes, we're all set. We would have been done sooner, but there was a mysterious pile of toys on Dani's bed. That was very kind of Dumbledore, don't you think?" She asked her question as they walked down the hallway towards Dumbledore's office."

George gave a smart nod and plopped into a chair in front of Dumbledore's desk. He looked up to see Tonks was still standing. With a sheepish look, he rose and gestured for her to sit as well.

"It doesn't suprise me," Snape replied as they approached the entrance to Dumbledore's office. It was already open so they merely walked up the stairs.

Tonks sat down next to George, wondering what had happened to the plan. She was about to comment when she caught sight of Snape in the doorway.

George grinned when Snape, Tara, and Dani entered the office. He opened his arms and Dani ran to climb into his lap. "Now they're here. So spill it. I mean... feel free to share at any time, Headmaster." He tried to look responsible, but it was hard with Dani wiggling around on his knee.

Tara smiled fondly at how Dani was friendly with everyone. She pointed to the last chair for Snape to have a seat and moved to stand behind it, looking attentively at Dumbledore.

Dumbledore nodded to the newcomers and smiled at George, once again. "Thank you Mr. Weasley. I have arranged for another house just outside London. There shouldn't be any items that you could come across which would compromise the security, this time," he said, taking out a piece of paper and handing it to the young man before gesturing that he should read and pass it along. "You'll be going by portkey."

George read the note quickly before showing it to Dani. Her tongue poked out of the corner of her mouth as she read the paper. George handed it on to Tonks before turning back to Dumbledore. "What about the others? Should we go and gather them or are they on their way?"

Tara took the paper from Tonks, memorized it, and handed it to Snape. She waited for Dumbledore's answer, but her mind was busy thinking about what he'd said about moving to yet another house. "I hope this house is as big as the last. There are a lot of us."

"I think the others should be on their way," Dumbledore smiled with a twinkle in his eye after a significant glance and a nod toward one of the portraits. "And the house should be quite large enough Sitara, though not large enough for everyone to have their own room, I'm afraid."

"Exactly how many rooms are there?" Snape asked, looking up from the note and handing it back.

"There are five spacious bedrooms, Severus," he heard the Headmaster reply and began to try and sort out the sleeping arrangements in his head.

Ginny wrinkled her nose at Harry before laughing out loud and grabbing his hand. "Fine, Snape is sexy, but I'm all yours. Let's figure out where everyone is and we can..." A figure waving in a portrait drew her attention and Ginny stopped. He quickly told them they were wanted in the Headmaster's office, and Ginny and Harry headed in that direction.

Tara considered the options briefly but knew it would be unfair to make any plans until everyone was accounted for and able to speak for themselves. "We can leave as soon as everyone is here?"

Harry went along with Ginny to Dumbeldore's office. Hopefully they would tell them there more about what happened at Grimauld Place and when and if they could go back there. They arrived outside the office and stopped. "Do you know the password?" He asked Ginny.
