After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

"Well, it wasn't so much of a rejection. I just... it was going too fast and... it's not like I didn't want to. I just don't think you were in the right frame of mind and it was just... going too fast," Harry said. "I love you, Ginny. But I don't think yesterday was right for... that."

Ginny shrugged. "I feel like we're only half living. Maybe I'll feel alive again when I"m training to be an Auror. Maybe I'll feel like my life is worth something again. Maybe Luna's death will be worth it when I can help save someone else's." Ginny poked Harry with her foot. "For the record... I love you too."

George grinned devilishly. "I'm no more worrisome than your average Death Eater or really Dark Wizard. You should never let your guard down. What if I was just PRETENDING to be this goofy and good-looking, but underneath, I was actually a dangerously Dark Wizard? You wouldn't know, would you? I might be more than a pretty face." He wiggled his eyebrows at her and tried to look menacing.

"Uh huh," Tonks replied, skeptically, doing a rather good job of preventing herself from breaking out in laughter. "Well, Mr. I'm-More-Than-Just-a-Pretty-Face-Seriously-Dark-Wizard, sir, do you plan on letting me up sometime today so we can snoop around or what?"

"Well, wow, Tonks, that was sure powerful," George rolled his eyes and his voice dripped with sarcasm. "I'm really moved. I'm going to have to say... no. Sorry. Actually, I'm not sorry. You make an excellent pillow, although you are a bit bony." He poked her in the side.

Tonks nearly jumped, or she would have jumped if she wasn't pinned beneath George, and laughed when he poked her in the side. "What can I say, I like to stay in shape," she laughed, poking him in the stomach. "I think someone needs to work on his abs."

George batted her hand away. "Woman! My abs are just fine for a business owner. You want skin and bones, Percy or Bill are the Weasleys to have laying on top of you. But you have George, who is solid. Look." He poked his stomach. "Something to hold on to."

Tonks burst out laughing and grabbed at the small roll of skin. "Yup, you've got the handles," she laughed again. "You forgot Charlie... Well, Charlie wasn't really skin and bones, he had a very nice stomach, if I remember correctly."

"I know what you mean... sometimes it feels like you aren't doing anything at all. Worthless. But, it will all change once we're allowed to live away from Grimmauld Place... or wherever we stay. And we can be together when we want and live beautiful lives," Harry said. He took her foot that she poked him with, and started to massage it gently.

George scowled. "What do you know about Charlie's stomach? I'll have you know that Fred and I are built very much like Charlie and not like the flock of weeds that take after my father. You'd better have first hand information, although I really hope you don't."

Ginny put her other foot in Harry's lap for the same attention. She smiled at Harry and was silent for a long while. It was good to know that Harry was thinking about the time after Grimmauld and the war, because it was what she was living for.

"Well, moving on then... I'm sure you have a lovely stomach to go with your lovely personality. Now, are you going to get off me sometime soon? It's just that my feet are starting to go numb."

George shifted his weight so that it didn't rest as much on Tonks but so that she was still effectively pinned. "You're evading the question, but you HAVE seen my stomach. Now answer... Charlie's stomach? What were those circumstances?"

Harry continued to massage Ginny's feet, then started to work his way up her ankles, then to her lower legs. "You know... I can see it now. A cute little house with a nice little fence around the outside. A few red-haired, green-eyed kids running around. A nice open field in the back... perfect for quidditch. Can't you picture it, Gin? It's lovely."

"I didn't think you really wanted to know," she said, realizing that she wasn't going to get out of this. She sighed and began the story. "You know that I can be kinda... clumsy. Well, I was practicing some moves on my broom and sort of lost control and I ended up crashing into the Gryffindor locker room. Charlie was in there and came out of the shower to see what all the noise was about. He had a towel on," she insisted.

Ginny opened her eyes and looked at Harry. "It does sound lovely, Harry. Where would this house be? Do you think Ron will have to live with us? He is a bit hopeless afterall." She crawled out of her chair and into Harry's lap.

George laughed and rolled off of her. "Alright, that will earn you your freedom. I enjoyed that story, although it kind of disgusts me. Charlie is nothing to speak of." He sat and laughed heartily before rising to his feet and offering a hand to Tonks.

George pulled her to her feet. "Oh, I wanted to hear. In fact, I was hoping for something more scandelous so I could make a big production about how disgusted I was. This is amusting, though. I just like imagining Charlie's face. He's fairly introverted, so I bet he wasn't thrilled about the intrusion. I, on the other hand, would wear a towel anytime."

Tonks just couldn't resist teasing George about the towel thing. "You know, if it's scandal you were after, I never said where he was wearing that towel," she said, raising an eyebrow and turning toward one of the telescopes, making sure to keep her hands away from them, lest she knock them all over.

George stared at Tonks with his mouth open. He was speechless, and that was a very rare occurence. "Tonks," he finally said in a scandalized voice. "Don't leave me standing here like a fool. That's why we keep Ron around. Tell me where the towel was. If it was on his head, you have my undying respect."

"Oh, but it's much more fun to keep you in suspense and see you standing there like that," Tonks giggled and walked back up to George. She grabbed his cheek and shook it a bit. "You're muich too young to be asking questions like that, anyway," she said, unable to stop herself from laughing.

George grabbed Tonks' hand on his cheek and spun her quickly so that her legs were pressed against Dani's low bed and she was teetering, the only thing keeping her from falling being his arm. "I'm not too young for anything. I'm 22, and I've been around the block. Don't treat me like a child, Tonks."

Harry laughed. "Ron could be our house elf or something. Maybe. If he didn't get in the way of things too much. The house could be in a nic elittle wizard neighborhood... or maybe secluded, like out in the country," He said, taking Ginny's hand and stroking the back of it with his thumb.
