After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

Snape listened and some unknown emotion rose up in him as she spoke about him. He dropped his hand and looked at her for a few moments after she sat up before speaking. "The potion is a relaxant that I use after particularly trying times as I find it aids me in revealing that which needs to be revealed to the Headmaster, as well as soothing away any memories which threatened to take hold of me. The potionaids in making one open and honest. It is not a truth potion, however, as the person to whom the user is open with must be someone that person trusts," he explained.

He ran his hand through her hair, cradling the back of her neck and leaned close. "I had my eyes on you before this summer, though I never would have dreamed to be so close," he whispered before kissing her.

Tara savored his kiss before looking at him with wide, surprised eyes. "You saw me? Before all of this... despite my attempts to get by unnoticed? I suppose I'm glad I failed, but I wish that you'd done something sooner. I could have used more... baths these past few years." She pulled the sponge from his hand. "My turn."

"Yes, well, it took a meddlesome old wizard's push for us to come together," he said, allowing the sponge to slip from his grasp. "I never would have dreamed of approaching you, otherwise. As you can see, it would have been foolishly dangerous."

"I"m loathe to admit it," Tara lathered up the sponge as she spoke, "but I think I find you very attractive when you're all menacing and dangerous. The danger itself is far from endearing, but you... I kind of like your sneer." She kissed said sneer before she began to employ the sponge.

Snape sneered for her and enjoyed the kiss, though he never thought he would have met someone who found it endearing. "Perhaps I shouldn't make such an effort to be nice when I'm around you then," he found himself joking. Yes, Dumbledore had been right in saying that Tara would be ood for him, though he wouldn't really need her so much now that he would be stuck in here... Or perhaps he'd need her more.

"No, no," Tara insisted as she lathered the sponge again and returned it to his body. "I don't want you to be nice to me. I care about you because of all the things you are, and if you're making an effort to be nice to me, then you're missing the whole point." She threw the sponge out of the tub and scooted up onto her knees to give him a watery, soapy kiss.

"Well, it's too late for that, I've already been trying," he said just before she kissed him. He reached up and held the back of her head before lowering her into the water to wash her hair. "You're still dirty," he said, kissing her as he lathered a potion into her hair.

Tara's eyes drifted closed and she simply enjoyed the feeling of Snape's long hands working a potion through her hair. Tara was always so practical about such things, usually preferring a brief shower to a bath. At this point, she was thinking she may only bathe like this ever again. It certainly was much preferred to washing her own hair. She made small appreciative noises and leaned her weight against Snape as he held her up.

Snape finished lathering the potion and then, proceeded to rinse Tara's hair, lifting her up out of the water, which kept recirculating to keep the bath clean, when he was finished. "It's nice having you here," he said, rather randomly.

"Its nice to be had," Tara grinned before she reached for the bottle Snape had set aside. "Are you going to let me wash your hair now?" She kept her voice low, knowing that for some reason Snape was very sensitive about his hair. She twirled her fingers in the soft ends of his hair and looked at him hopefully.

Of course many people over the years had made comments about washing and his hair but, never had anyone actually offered to wash it for him. They were afraid to let their hands touch his greasey head. But, Tara looked up at him with those eyes and already had her fingers in his hair. He nodded in response, brushing her cheek with his thumb.

Tara helped Snape to immerse his hair in the water before he sat back up. She poured a liberal amount of the potion into her hand before kneeling in front of him and lathering the potion through his dark hair. Her face was just above his and she leaned down to give him a lingering kiss before returning her attention to his hair.

Eager to get away from the awkwardness, Harry spotted food upon a table, and went over to it. He took a plate and filled it with food, then sat down and started eating. "So," He said, in between chewing his chocolate chip muffin, "What was going on at the house?"

Snape, despite his unease at having her touch his hair due to his insecurity, he rather enjoyed the feel of her hands as they worked the potion in. He also enjoyed her intermitent kisses. The tension was soothed from his body as he was caught up in the gentle caring of Tara. "You seem to be able to lift my burdens from me," he whispered. "How do you do that?"

Tara grinned and tossed the sponge out of the tub. She pressed against Snape and ran her hands up the side of his face and into his hair. "I suppose we share the load, Severus. I don't know that I do anything in particular other than just be here."

Snape heard some small noises coming from the other room and knew that the food had arrived. "Breakfast is here," he said, stroking her cheek and giving her a brief kiss before lifting her up and out of the tub with him. He wrapped her up in a large, fluffy, white towel before taking one from the rack for himself.

Tara tucked the towel around her snuggly before exiting the bathroom to check on the food. The house elves has disappeared already, probably alarmed by the talking and splashing from the other room. House elves were remarkably easy to embarass. Tara hadn't realized how hungry she was, and she sat primly on the couch in her towel, filling her plate and digging in. "This is great."

Snape dried himself off a bit before wrapping the towel about his waist and following Tara out into the sitting area. He grabbed his wand off of a table and pointed it at the fire, to increase the warmth in the room. Then, he sat down next to Tara and helped himself to some breakfast. "Yes, the food at Hogwarts was always better than food from anywhere else," he said.

Tara grinned sheepishly and continued to pile food on her plate. "The food at the Order wasn't great, but there must be something about the food here. I feel like I haven't eaten in days." She began to eat, enjoying her meal while she watched Snape in his towel.

"The house elves know how to cook without setting the kitchen on fire or experimenting," Snape sneered, thinking of the numerous times the twins ruined perfectly good meals simply by tinkering with whatever someone was trying to cook at the time. He glanced over at Tara's small form, delicately wrapped in her towel. It was becoming increasingly difficult to concentrate on eating, knowing that she was sitting there in just a towel.

Tara finished her plate before moving over to help Snape with his. She thoroughly enjoyed some of the fruit he'd been neglecting, offering him some between bites. She saw the heated look he was giving her and she finally rose. "Well, I'm full. I suppose I'll get dressed and go find the children." She dropped her towel and reached for her robes.

Snape stood and grabbed Tara's wrist before she could grab her robes, his towel coming undone with the quick movement. "The children will be fine for a little while longer," he said, cradling the back of her neck before kissing her deeply.

Tara leaned into Snape's embrace, her hands running down his sides to lock behind his back. "I thought we would never get to this," she breathed against his lips, wondering what it was about Snape that made her always want him. She'd only had one lover before, Dani's father, and she had never wanted to be with him in the way that she wanted to be with Snape.

"There were intruders," George said flatly, whapping Dani lightly in the face with a pancake and making her giggle. "Death Eaters, in fact. You two should NEVER have left the house, so don't try to act like just because we all made it out, its okay. Where were you anyway? At least you weren't stupid enough to take Ginny with you this time." Ginny glared at him.

"We went out... there's only so much two guys can take, living in a house like that. It's just so boring," Harry said, pushing a lump of scrambled eggs arond his plate with his fork. "And it really doesn't matter, because we're all safe now and that's what matters. And Ron and I had a good time, if you can't tell by his state right now."
