After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

Snape stood still for a moment after Bella pushed away, his heart pounding. Now that she was no longer in such close proximity, he was beginning to recover from her spell. He felt extremely guilty for what he had done, said, and almost done but, he needed to move on quickly. Snape stepped up behind Bella and her entourage of Death Eaters and moved through the house. With each step he took, Snape hoped the twin had warned the others and that they had gotten away safely. That was when he heard the sound of Mrs. Black, shrieking about blood traitors and half-bloods.

Tara clutched the Floo powder to her chest. She didn't want to leave Snape, but it would be foolish to stay. "Alright, let's go..." She reached her hand into the bag but was kept from fleeing by the sounds of the portrait in the hallway. "Quick!" She moved in front of Dani. "We need to get out of here. They're in the hall." She threw the powder in and teh flames leapt.

The loud noises from downstars enraged Bella. "Idiots! Move quickly... something is going on down there, and if they get away..." The threat didn't need to be completed, as the men began to scurry down the stairs to find out who was making the racket and to stop any flight.

"The Dark Lord needs to find himself some more adept servants," Snape sneered in Bella's ear as they followed behind the other wizards on the way down to the first floor. "If your men do not hurry, Dumbledore will become aware of the breach in security and send in his reinforcements."

Bella stomped her foot on the stairway and her men paused to look at her. "Did I tell you to stop? Keep moving and stun anyone you see. Even if its a child." They continued down the stairs and Bella turned back to Snape. "I know they are inept, but they are the least inept of all the rest. That's what makes them minions - their inability to progress up the ladder due to their very ineptitude."

Snape smirked and continued to move through the house, following after the 'minions,' as Bella so accurately described them. Luckily, they found no signs of the twins nor Tara and Dani once they reached the room in which they had been staying. Snape held the door open for Bella, expecting that she would want to examine the room herself.

Tonks turned over in bed after seeing the time on the clock. Why was she having so much trouble sleeping? After a few more minutes of tossing and turning, she gave up and walked out to the kitchen for a little something to eat.

Ron and Harry made their way to the kitchen, not bothering to shut up Mrs. Black. They found a scene of silent Fred, George, and Hermione, and Tara and Dani leaving by floo. "What's going on?" Ron asked, trying to keep his voice hushed. "Are you all having a part in the kitchen that I wasn't informed about?"

Harry noticed the fire and Hermione taking some floo powder in her hands. "Where did they go? Where are you going? What IS going on?" He asked, confused.

"You gits! You absolute gits! We've been looking all over the house for you, and you wander in here smelling like firewhiskey. You're not to leave the house, Harry. It wasn't a request. Now we're all in danger and we could have been away minutes ago." He pushed the two of them towards the fireplace.

Tara shushed them all with a wave of her hand. "There're people in the house, and we're leaving. Dani and I through first. Fred and George, you make sure everyone's clear and then come through. You're the rear guard. We're going to get Ginny, then we're going to Hogwarts."

Fred gave Ron an extra shove, before sliding over to Hermione. "You go with Harry and Ron, Mione. George and I will be along shortly.. Don't worry. " Fred squeezed her shoulder and roughed the boys over the fireplace. "Straight to Hogwarts. And Ron Weasley, if you falter and put one toe anywhere else...," Fred said raising his fist. He'd deal with the fact that he sounded just like his mother later.

With Professor Sinistra and Dani safely away, Fred gave Hermione a reassuring look, and though her face was unsure she knew what she had to do. Harry and Ron went right after her, and left the the Twins alone.

Fred looked around, quickly. The voice of Bella could be heard clearer and clearer as she neared. "We need... a sign or something. For Snape..," Fred jumped around, thinking as hard as he could. THen, suddenly, he dropped his underwear to the floor and put them in the middle of the floor. Frantically, he searched for something to cover himself with in the kitchen. He'd already done away with the table cloth, and his options were running low. "Umm.. Umm..." He said squirming about... "Geroge... give me your shirt.. or something. Anything..."

This was not the time to laugh, but George was seriously amused by his twin. He quickly pulled off his pajama bottoms revealing his brilliantly red boxer shorts that had "Hot Stuff" scrawled across the rear. Tossing the pants to Fred, George through a handful of powder into the fireplace and watched the flames leap. "Are we going to Tonks' flat or straight to Hogwarts? I wonder if Sinistra will need assistance in getting them to come along..."

Tonks jumped at a whooshing sound coming from the living room. Wand at the ready, she pointed it toward the fireplace until she saw who it was. Squinting in the dim light for a few minutes before using her wand to light the lamps. "What are you doing here... uh, Professor?" she asked, ruffling up her short, spiky, purple hair.

Tara set Dani down and watched over her shoulder for the fire to die down. "Headquarters has been compromised, Tonks. There were intruders. Death Eaters, I believe. I don't know the how and why of it, but I believe we're all in danger. We must make our way to Hogwarts." Dani crawled onto the couch and curled up in a sleepy ball, but she still hadn't said a word.

Ginny stumbled from the bedroom, tugging on her nightshirt and rubbing her eyes. "Tonks, why are you...?" She paused, her eyes widening at the sight of Tara and Dani. "Professor?"

The drowsiness left Tonks who suddenly became very alert. "Did everyone make it out? Should I go back and make sure? And message from Dumbledore?" she starting shooting questions as she ran into the bedroom, picked up Ginny's wand and handed it to her before using her own wand to get herself dressed.

She stood in front of Professor Sinistra once she was ready. Tonks was on the balls of her feet, alert and ready, probably a very different look than most people who didn't know her from auror training or work were used to. "Hurry up, Ginny," she called over her shoulder to the younger woman before turning her attention back to the Professor, awaiting her answers.

ooc: I think Tonks is a bit hyper...

"What? I'm not... what?" Ginny watched Tonks dash around in confusion. "Where are we going? Why am I hurrying?" Instead of hurrying, she plunked down on the couch and crossed her bare legs. "Who are you?" she asked Dani.

Tara stared at Ginny, who seemed determined to be uncooperative. "That's my daughter, Danika. We're going to Hogwarts, and yes, everyone made it out." She left out the part about Snape still being there. "We need to go now... it isn't exactly a well-kept secret that Ginny is with you. Just grab Ginny and hex her if she won't come." Tara threw another handful of powder on the fire.

Tonks didn't even wait for Ginny to make a move, she pointed her wand and said, "Incarcerous. Mobilicorpus." Ginny's body hovered and Tonks moved with her to the floo. "Will you bring up the rear, Professor?" she asked and grabbed some floo powder, throwing it into the fireplace before Professor Sinistra had a chance to answer.

Tara held out her arms for Dani, who she quickly picked up and settled on her waist. "After you," she followed behind Tonks and shouted, "Hogwarts." The world swirled around her and she was soon stepping out of the fireplace into the staffroom. The twins, Harry, and Ron were stretched out on the couches in the room.

Tonks released Ginny after they made it through the floo. She didn't bother apologizing, she merely stood and waited for Professor Sinistra to make it through before pacing over to the twins. "What happened? Has anyone gone to inform Dumbledore?"

Ginny fell to the floor in front of the fireplace in a rumpled heap. She tugged down her nightshirt and glared at Tonks and Tara in turn. Once that proved ineffective, Ginny turned and glared at the fireplace, determined not to pout for a bit until she got something decent to wear.

Fred quickly slipped on Fred's pants, just before jumping in the fire after George. They arrived back at Hogwarts not seconds later, Fred's upper body covered in soot. Everyone was there, and Fred slid himself to the floor with a sigh.

"Is it really necessary to alert Dumbledore? I'm sure he already knows.. he always does.." Fred said waving his hands around spastically.

Tonks stared down at the twin on the floor, pajama pants on the bottom and black soot on the top. "Yes, we have to inform Dumbledore in case..." she stopped in mid sentence and stared at the other Weasley twin who had got up from lounging on the couch and began walking away from her.

Realizing that the words "Hot Stuff" were written across his rear and she was staring at it, Tonks blushed profusely and turned her head, now flustered. "We... uh..." she stuttered before recovering. "He probably does know but, in case he doesn't. Besides, he likes personal reports and seeing as how I don't know what is going on, someone who does needs to do the reporting."

Harry, Ron, and Hermione stumbled out of the fireplace after the others and fell into a sort of pile on the floor. Ron had caused it, being the first one to trip and causing a sort of domino effect on the others. Harry and Hermione stood up, but Ron remained lying on the floor, staring up at the ceiling. "So," he said, "I still don't understand what we're doing..."

Harry stood up from the pile of people and saw Ginny was somehow there. "Gin!" He ran over to her and embraced her in a hug, noticing just how cute she looked in only a nightshirt.

Hermione stood up and brushed herself off with as much dignity as she could, straightening her pajamas and brushing her hair out of her eyes. She saw Tonks and followed her gaze to George's rear end which said 'hot stuff.' She snorted, holding back a laugh, and the thought of George's butt made her look towards Fred, who, she found, had aquired a pair of pants. They were quite nice, but not as great as the tight black underwear.

Ginny looked up at Harry and accepted his embrace awkwardly from her seated position. "Harry! I don't understand what's going on here. And I'm in my pajamas." Her face was a bit pink and she tugged the nightshirt over her legs in an effort to cover more of her body.

Fred stared at Tonks, then with everyone else, followed her eyes. His eyes landed on George's butt. Fred rolled over laughing, then sprung himself up off the floor. "Hey Hot Stuff, you're getting Tonks here all flustered.. how bout finding yourself a kilt or something. I've found that table cloths work nice..,"Fred said as he took up a piece of parchment to write out a letter to Dumbledore. He kept it simple:

We had to leave the House. Now located in the Staff Room.

He sealed it and charmed it, and sent it up to Dumbldore.

George turned and looked at his boxers before his face lit up with understanding. "I can take them off," he offered, pulling them down a bit more than was decent but not really showing off anything of note. He noticed Dani across the room and stopped. "I'll just go look for something to wear." He went off to rummage in the teacher's cloak closet.
