After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

Guin had gone into the house after no one had been outside when she was there.She had gone and said her goodbye's to Mrs.Weasley and the others upstairs and about the house. Then Guin went looking for George again and found him in his room with Hermione. "Hello..."She said as she sighed and smiled. "I couldn't find everyone George. Oh hello Hermione, or should I say goodbye?!"

"Well, I was thinking more that you might find it odd to be looking at a copy of your face but, you do have a valid point," Tonks replied, screwing up her face so that her eyes changed blue and her hair to match. "But seriously," she continued, gently slapping Ginny's shoulder. "You'll come to work with me and we'll find something fun for you to do; something constructive, like you wanted."

Hermione roled her eyes and sighed. George was being so close-minded and thick-headed. She watched him head for the door and saw Guin enter. Hermione stood up and walked to the door, too. "Hello, Guin... and yes, it is more like goodbye... why, where are you going?"

"I'll be going back to Egypt." Guin told Hermione as she eyed George. He seemed to be mad or something of the sort, she wondered what they had been talking about but shrugged it off. "I need to go back before I get myself fired." She added with a sigh."So this is goodbye Hermione, it was nice seeing you again though. I only would have hoped it was under better circumstances though."

Ginny's smile got a bit bigger and actually was sincere. "That would certainly be nice. I want to do something to help with the war, but I'm kind of like a sore thumb in some ways. Maybe I can just bring you doughnuts and coffee, but at least I'll be helping." Her stomach grumbled. "Speaking of food... is it dinner time?"

"Oh, okay, well... I hope you have fun," Hermione said, somewhat jealous that Guin got to go back to a job and get out of this crazy, boring jail of a house. "Goodbye," She said, and smiled at the pair of George and Guin, then left the room.

George glared after Hermione before turning to look at Guin. He knew Mione wouldn't even think about what he'd said, but at least he's finally said it. He'd have to do something else, then.

"Are you ready then?" George asked tersely, walking past Guin and into the corridor without waiting for her response.

Guin watched as Hermione left then looked at George. He was being rather...cold. "Um yeah, I'm ready." She said as she ran up to him and grabbed his hand making him stop walking. "What happened George?!" She asked concerned.

Tonks looked up at the walls, realizing that clocks had not been part of the furnishings which came with the flat. "I'm not sure," she laughed. "But, if you're hungry... Well, I just moved in just before you got here and I don'tahve any food. We could possibly go out, though that's not my favorite idea."

George ignored her question but continued to hold her hand. "Did you want to Floo or did you have another way to get there?" He pulled her into her room and pointed her in the direction of her trunk. "Once you're packed..."

Ginny put her hand on her stomach and groaned loudly to mock her hunger. "Well, if you don't have any food and you don't want to go out, what DO you want to do? Because I'm going to wither away to bones and red hair pretty soon here, Tonks."

Guin stood at the doorway of her room and crossed her arms as she stared at George. "I'm packed already. Now don't change the subject, tell me whats wrong George!" Guin told him firmly before she went into a gently, "Please..." Guin walked up to him and looked up into his face. "I can tell somethings wrong. An hour ago you were perfectly fine. Now...your being cold."

George knew that Hermione had put him in a foul mood, and that he was taking it out on Guin for no reason. He sighed and put his hands on her shoulders. "I think Fred and Hermione are messing around, and if they aren't, they will be soon. I want Fred to be happy, but I think he's going about it all wrong. He needs someone clever and exciting and someone who won't be afraid to tell him that's he's being a git or argue back." He grinned suddenly and poked her nose with his finger. "Someone like you."

Tonks suddenly jumped up and waved her wand in the air, a paper suddenly appearing in mid air. "This place has the absolute best take out. They have pizza, this muggle food. It's like round bread with tomato sauce, cheese, and anything else you want on top. This restaurant is owned by my father's brother and they will floo us our order. What do you think?"

Guin wrinkled her nose and smiled. "So if I told you you were being a git you wouldn't be mad?!" She teased as she tilted her head to the side a bit and laughed. "Sorry. So, do you want to go now?!" Guin asked as she hugged him and then went to get her trunk. "I'm ready if you are that is." Guin took a final look around the room and finally said, "Well, goodbye room." Guin turned back to George, "We go by portkey." Guin took out an old rusted cup in her robes. "Your mother gave it to me, she said Dumbledore sent it after we left."

"Anything you want on top?" Ginny scrunched up her nose in thought. "It sounds good. I'd like to try one. Do you think we could get gummy bears on top? Harry bought them for me once, and I'm very fond of them." She frowned, thinking about Harry and how she hadn't left a note when she left.

"Sounds good to me," George put his hand on the cup and smiled at Guin. She was a bit exceptional, and he didn't know why she had anything to do with a goof like him. "If you don't tell me when I'm being a git, I'll never know. I'm a bit hopeless, you know. I expect to have a grand fight with you at least once a day. And then making up, of course," he wiggled his eyebrows at her before he felt the familiar tug behind his bellybutton.

Tonks studied the menu with her tongue just poking out the corner of her mouth. "Hmm... I don't see gummy bears listed under the toppings but, they certainly sound good. Maybe they can make it special for us... Or, HEY!" she turned around. "We could just pop on over and eat there. I'm sure it'll be perfectly safe. It's no where near London and no one would suspect us going there. What do you think?"

Seeing the uneasy look on Ginny's face she stopped. "What's wrong Ginny?" she asked, plopping back on the couch.

Guin laughed before they were brought through the ever fimiliar twirling of using a portkey to any location. She found herself in the even more fimilar site she had been working on before she left. Guin sighed and looked at George, "Welcome to Egypt! And I do believe you have been here once before. Oh and don't worry, I would definitly tell you when you being a git." She laughed and pulled him to a tent nearby that she knew as her home in Egypt.

Ginny looked up at Tonks. "I hate love," she responded ruefully, "but I AM hungry. Let's go to this restaurant. I haven't been out in so long and it will be nice not to have to hide out." She nodded and looked around. "I didn't bring anything with me, so I guess I"m ready to go."

George studied Guin's home in Egypt, noting the cot and rather rustic surroundings, as well as all the evidences of her work and passions throughout the tent. He'd been in the girls' room at Grimmauld, but somehow this struck him as much more intimate. This was were Guin lived and slept, and there was no one there but the two of them. George licked his lips nervously and stepped back out into the scorching sun. The shifting dunes were soothing in a foreign way and he watched them.

"Great!" Tonks said, jumping up once more, only pulling Ginny up with her this time. "You can tell me all about it over dinner."

She walked over to the fireplace, took a handful of floo powder and then, passed some to Ginny. "Okay, it's called Ramunto's Pizzarria and it's the only one connected to the floo network so, no worries. We'll come out in a back room where we can get brushed off before we find a table," she said before stepping into the fireplacing and flooing to the restaurant.

Guin set her trunk by the foot of her cot and noticed that George had ventured outside. She walked to where he was and hugged him from behind as she looked at the pyramids surrounding them. "Its beautiful isn't it? I don't think I could ever get tired of this site. There's just something about it..." Guin told him as she gazed at the view before it. "I missed this place." She said in a low whisper before she spoted an old friend coming towards her tent. Guin squealled as she recognized the person and ran to them, "Arnie!"

Ginny followed closely after, glad that she had been wearing simple jeans and a Muggle shirt. No matter how far they were from London, you could never be too careful, and nothing would draw suspicion faster than robes. Ginny stumbled out of the fireplace just behind Tonks and barely avoided running into her. "Where exactly is this restaurant?" Ginny asked as she brushed herself off and followed Tonks into the dining room.

George smiled at the passion and intensity in Guin's voice, turning to take her in his arms, when she gave a squeal and took off down the line of tents. She grabbed the man, who he could barely see, and gave him a hug, and George was left standing foolishly beside the tent. He wondered again how this was going to work. He HAD to return to London, and Guin needed to stay here. Their lives were intertwined, but entirely separate. Could they do this at all?

Guin turned around and noticed George at the tent and decided to bring Arnie with her. Arnie was one of her fellow wizards,he had stunning green eyes and he had decided to dye his hair a greeney colour. He was one of her best friends here at work, and nothing else. "George!" She said dragging Arnie. "This is Arnie, he's one of my employees but I prefer to call him my co-worker." She said with a laugh before looking at Georges face, he looked kinda sad. Arnie was called elsewhere and she was left with George again.

Guin gave him a concerned look and looked into his eyes. "He's just a friend." She said with a laugh in case he was jealous for some reason.

George shrugged and stared over her shoulder at a shifting dune. "You don't have to explain yourself to me, Guin. You can be friends with whoever you want and you can date whoever you want." He studied a camel grazing by a tent before he added, "I can't ask you to do anything or be anything while we're like this. You're so far away, and I'm going to be in danger. It isn't fair to either of us." He refused to look her in the eye.
