Lily Evans didn't know what she had gotten herself into when she agreed to stay with James Potter over the summer break. Her parents were making arrangements for Petunia Evans, and Vernon Dursley’s wedding. Lily wasn't a fan of Vernon Dursley or his family, and she wasn’t a fan of the arrangements that Petunia had helped to make. Petunia, had of course found her Diary, which she had written, “I hate James Potter” on the first page, and so to tick Lily off, she purposefully made her stay with him. How will her summer escapades and rampant mischievousness change her life, and how will they effect her feelings for a certain, James Potter.
NOTE: ONLY FIRST POST IS FROM THE SUMMER, IT STARTS IN THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
Plot Information:
In the beginning Lily isn't fond of James Potter or his actions, but in the end she warms to him, and eventually the school year begins. This begins in the tail-end of the summer, but the first post is a basic motticum of emotions that Lily felt in the beginning of the summer before her new experience evolved into a whole new destiny. A Destiny that included a certain James Potter, as her new-found-love in her last and final seventh year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Dear Diary,
Petunia has made me stay over-summer with the Potters, how weird is that? She got a hold of my Diary that I forgot at home over the school year and in it, the first words were "I HATE JAMES POTTER". I feel really bad about it now, because I know I don't Hate James anymore, he was so oddeningly kind to me over the past month. We've only got three more weeks of summer break left, and I wonder what will happen between us considering my change-of-heart and his so clear obsession with being around me and wanting to well, date me.

Lily read the note she had written the week before and smiled, today some of her friends were showing up and they were attempting to help her through the end of the month and the end of the summer break. She really loved the Potter's home it was such a beautiful building with a magical inside-litterally, the inside was enchanted so its expanse was much larger than that it looked like it would be from the outside. It looked quaint from the outside, and on the inside it was quaint, but still oh-so-lavish.
Lily walked out of her room in the Potter's home putting her Diary on the end of her bed and locking it quickly. She walked down the stairs and out the back kitchen-door of the house. Where a small crystal-clear pond was visible there were no creatures like Giant Squids or Grindylows in the water here it was so beautifuly an Azure water. She walked to the waters edge and looked at all the small fish swimming around, she loved watching the water as much as she loved dazing off into fire-places.
She heard a slight hoot and looked up seeing a tawny owl with a letter about its leg. Taking the letter and opening it, she realized it was the Hogwarts leters.
Reading the letter she almost screamed. "I'VE GOT HEAD!" She yelled out in shock, she was head girl for her year. Head Girl! She wondered who Head Boy would be and assumed James would not be him, if it was James she would probably feint or blink at him repetatively saying "thats impossible!" Because it really was impossible.
She smiled and heard the door bell ring, walking to the door and opening it she smiled welcoming all the visitors into the home, it wasn't like James's parents would mind. They were constantly off on buisness, which made it possible for them to--well, have many moments alone in their large home. One morning, she had woken and found him gazing at her, and as she stood up, he walked over and planted a kiss on her lips. That was the day she realized she had feelings for him. The day she realized she actually was quite fond of James Potter.

As Lily initiated another kiss, her hand pulling him down to her shorter level, he placed his hands on her waist, kissing her back.
James had completely lost memory of the outside world, that at one point they'd probably have to seperate, and about the prank that was happening at the present time.
All he could think about was her. Her beautiful long dark red hair that matched her fiery personality, her sparkling almond shaped emerald eyes that he could stare into all day. Lily Evans was perfect to him.

Sirius raised a curious eyebrow as Gin oped her mouth to silence, the absence of words either positive or negative making him wonder if the kissing had been in his imagination and now the truth came out to bite him. "Well somewhat," he replied leaning one arm on the back of the couch as the other ran through his hair absently as he did in nervousness unbeknowst to others rather then habit like his best mate.
"Will you...Ginerva Kensington go out with me?" he asked making it more proper.
"James, I think we should stop" Lily said as she pulled away, releasing the now slightly wrinkled sweater out of her hands. "For now, I don't want us to get in trouble."
Cat couldn't take her eyes off of the scene - it was like a nightmare her eyes would move back. "Dear god, tell them to stop."
Gin looked up to Sirius, smiling as he nervously ran a hand through his hair - and the way he said it was sort of a way of asking her out. She chuckled softly, smiling as she heard his question.
Will you be my girlfriend - now who in their right mind would turn down Sirius Black? She still right now even though she knew the answer couldn't make her mouth say the words. She was in shock, joyful shock. After a slight sigh she leaned in and kissed him pulling away before he could respond she spoke "Does that answer your question? And if it doesn't then the simple yes probably would suffice. So Yes, Sirius I will."

"Oh right!" James said, face flushed slightly. Grabbing Lily's hand, he sent a quick glance Cat and Snape's way to check they were distracted.
Now where was Mary with the potion and charm?
Remus noticed the lack of charming and potion pouring, so picking up the potion that James had left when he and Lily and gone to distract Snape and Cat, and sneaked to Cat and Snape's goblets, quickly pouring some of the disgusting potion into each.
Moving away, he performed the charm and raced to a place where he could keep watch and make sure all went along well.
Cat hadn't noticed Remus sneak by her and pour the potion into her goblet she was too disgusted by the thought of Lily and James snogging. And they had been going at it for a while now.
"SLAP HIM" she heckled, "please?" she added far quieter, "I'm going to be sick" she grabbed her goblet and took a sip immediately feeling dizzy. Closing her eyes as the world began to spin - she looked up and saw a red haired boy talking to a black haired girl - but they stood where Lily and James just had been. Was Lily really that tall? Once there he signed her in and waited with her for the healer. James was so gonna get it later.
"I'm sorry she did that, or he...anyways someone is going to pay." Cat, hissed, sitting up on the bed.
The Healer, Madam Pond walked into the room, looking at Severus Snape, she sighed he might be hurt. "Were you hurt? James Potter again?" Miss Pond asked, sincerely concerned. That was when she noticed Cathrine Valentijn. "Oh dear, I have to say Mr. Snape, 10 points to gryffindor for helping out a friend - now dear what do you see?"
"A man in a womans dress talking to me." Cat spoke frankly, she didn't feel sick anymore just severely confused. "Um, except you've got Madam Pond's voice...she's nice." Cat nodded.
"I did see Lily Evans and James Potter snogging and I think that made me feel nauseous because its Potter and no one likes him...then after wards he looked like a girl and there was a red-haired boy in Lily's place...always knew there was something off."

"Theres no telling whodid but I did see both Lily and James laughing at Cat so I suspect they were a part of it. Yes he was throwing Lily's name in this. If she was not gonna care about him and treat his rfreinds this way, this is what she gets.

Sirius had to admit he had never felt as uncertain around one of the opposite gender before used to being the smooth ladies man. But that was what he felt around Ginerva Kensington especially since the school year had restarted once more. Maybe it was the fact of seeing James and Lily together over the summer he had thought of who he could possibly feel the same with.
He awaited a response finally getting an somewhat unexxpected but certainly welcome response as Gin leaned in for another kiss and they shared it as he kissed back for however brief it was. "Yeah it certainly does," he replied finally allowing himself to give his trademark smile. "Makes things simplier when we're both on the same page, eh?"
"Right, i was meaning to say from...I assumed it was Potters doing." She rolled her eyes, she wasn't a fan of Potter. After all Madame Pond, used to be a slytherin. "Now let me see that - and you said Miss Evans, but she's never done anything like this before." Amy sighed. "Well, I'll have a chat with her, anyways I did hear Evans tripped earlier laughing could be due to head trauma she should have come in and sene me. Then this probably wouldn't have happened to - oh dear Mr. Snape, was is Miss Cat that tripped Evans earlier - if it were then possibly Mr. Potter spiked her drink and Evans might have thought she just looked odd..."

Gin nodded, "It does make it loads easier," Gin commented nodding. She smiled, "You know I think if we hadn't come in here today - then well I'd suspect Lucien would have told you...he nearly blurted it out numerous occasions." Gin nodded, blushing as she said this. She had acted overly suspicious today.
Gin felt a large overly-happy smile creep into place on her face. It was true, she was ecstatically happy right now - she probably could sing but she wouldn't. "You know, I'm glad we got this off the shelf, and well out in the open! Its this is going to be off sounding coming from me, better then the prank" she blushed as she said this because Gin was never a girl to turn down a good prank job.

"Yeah, maybe we should avoid anything in goblets from now on?" she suggested as Madam Pond cleaned her face up, then took the juice bringing it to a small magical machine much like a centrifuge she was trying to see what was in it.
"I agree it is contaminated, but with what I have no idea." She sighed, walking into the back room she emerged with two blue bottles - much like nalgene bottles now, but they were magical. "This are ever filling water bottles, drink only from these."

"I think it did work!" James replied smiling slightly, but trying to pull Lily out of view of Snape and Cat.
"Lily, first rule of pranking, don't stick around unless you want to get caught." He said.
"Though I'm very disappointed with the result. I was hoping for them to go crazy, not for Snivillus to realize it. He is too dumb to anyway! Maybe we were acting too odd." James mused.
He truthfully was sad with the result. The prank had failed. He would have to privately get revenge on them at one point, away from the noobs of pranking. But what could he do?
"Next time don't use potions that 'The Half-Blood Prince' made." Lily laughed, "He's the half blood prince" Lily reminded James, with a smile. Lily chuckled, realizing she'd seen the potion somewhere before - and it had been used on against Peter. Ooh that was sad.

"But I hadn't!" James said. "I got it from Zonko's. Hasn't even hit the shelves yet. With my close relationship to the owners, they gave it to me for trial." He frowned. He didn't understand how the prank had failed.
"It was my second batch of it. The first I tried it on Peter, the result was hilarious as you remember probably." James smiled slightly at the memory.
"James! I can't believe you, you-you used it against your friend!" Lily snapped glaring at him, then relaxing she spoke in a calmer tone. "You are the reason he asked me weather I thought it smart to ask me out!" Lily sighed, calming down, "Sorry just no, no, never and no...about that situation...and James are you sure you made it right? Like the ingredients hadn't gone bad or well, you put the right amount of one ingredient in? Did you stir it the right direction because it worked the last time."

Sirius couldn't help chuckling at her words, his usual barking laugh quite present in his amusement. "Yeah he was acting a bit odd lately..always breaking off...or being cut off by a certain somebody," he commented, adding a smirk at the last bit of his statement. Her own actions making a bit more sense now apparently having been just as nervous as he about sharing her feelings.
"Really..." he mused moving himself closer to her on the couch so his arm on the back was behind Gin. "and to think I could actually top a prank in your mind," he added smiling down at her. The prankster couldn't admit it aloud himself but there would be more pranks with Snape...this moment was a first not to be missed and he would have hurt himself if something had been seriously wrong and he had ignored her exit.
Gin smiled, leaning her head against his arm. "You weren't supposed to notice that" Gin remarked to Sirius' comment about her covering her own brothers mouth. She leaning in, resting her head against his shoulder so when she looked up she could see his hair, his chin, his incredibly beautiful jawline that made her want to hold onto him - and look up into his eyes his beautiful blue eyes.
"Well to think that if you hadn't followed me we'd probably have gone another day more without knowing we both felt like this..." she smiled, "and yes, odd isn't it. I'd like to consider myself a little pranky."

"Calm down, all my friends and I are always pranking each other. Remember that time when Sirius became a half horse-half dog mutant? That was Remus and Peter. Seperate pranks that combined in the end. Remsu was turning him into a horse, Peter a dog and it just... smooshed the prank at the end."
James laughed as he thought of the prank. Remembering that he was talking to Lily, he looked back at her. "The potion was done right as far as I remember. But I do remember Sirius sneezing in it before I bottled it up. That may have altered it I suppose..."
Or maybe it was him sneezing and dropping a little extra troll boogers in it, just maybe. But he wasn't going to say that to Lily.
Lily huffed as James told her to calm down. No one told Evans to calm down. She glared slightly, and sighed. "I do remember that - and sneezing, goodness Potter be careful that can cause explosions." She didn't want him to die making a potion she'd be single, and have a guilty conscious like dating her killed him.
She squirmed, "Hopefully the extra snot didn't do anything bad." Lily thought, and huffed. She leaned against the wall, "I need fresh air." Lily spoke her words quiet as she stood up and walked out of the room, turning back to James she shot him a come hither look.

Lily smiled as James walked over, her gaze softening. "Aw, so where do you want to go?" She asked smiling. As she walked further into the entrance hall. Suddenly out of no-where she began to hum a tune that was stuck in her head "i'm walking on sunshine" she sang softly, quiet enough that he could barely hear her. Yep, James knew what Batman was. He had recently become hooked on muggle superhero comics after Sirius showed him them.
His opinion, there was no competition between Batman and Superman. Batman was the best!
Back on track, James smiled as Lily started humming. Time for his own chance to sing. Humming the Spiderman theme song, because he didn't know the Batman, he walked in front of Lily, pretending to fly through the skies on web, like Spiderman does.
James was so going to have to figure out a way to make the dream of becoming a superhero like Batman or Spiderman a reality.
"Alright, sounds brilliant to me," Lily smiled, as she walked over to the main doors opening them the cool crisp fall air ripe and fresh in the air. Oh the smell of fires in hogsmeade, made it seem perfect. She loved the smell of wood stoves, fire places, and oh it was beautiful. That was one reason why she loved James's town so much. Godric's hollow was perfect, calm, quiet, tranquil. A real dream.
She smiled, running a hand through hair as she stepped into the fresh air, oh her day was getting better and better. She walked over to a bench and sat down, pulling her legs up to her body.
