The mouth of the road is barren, characterized by huge rocks and crumbling boulders that leave in one’s mouth the taste of dirt, rusting metal and steady, very very dusty erosion. You breathe, you cough. The sky is orange, ready to kick up a sandstorm anytime. All is dust.

The fork in the path opens up two routes: The left comes to a dead end, a wall of rock and sandstone, and the right leads onwards, farther into the rocks, and you find that the scenery begins to change. Shrubs seem to sprout of the ground, trees commence to rise. Within fifteen minutes, all is green.

Welcome to Forest Delgo.

Delgo starts with a cheerful green clearing but, as you go inwards, the trees begin to grow thicker. There is the smell of wet mud in the air, and you know from it that, somewhere, there is water. Farther in, the starts of a stream begin, and the water gathers speed, transforming into a pure, gushing river as it goes on. Much, much deeper in, there is a waterfall but, for now, you can not see it.

Vegetation is, by no means, scarce. The trees are pretty thick, happy types that do not scare in the least, even at the points where they shut out much – or all – of the light. There are songbirds around but, deeper in, there are other creatures, perhaps wilder, perhaps tamer. Not where you stand, though.

Where you stand is nothing but green land and blue sky.

"It's not useless," Fyo said, looking up at Uncle Henry. "Haven't -" he hesitated, then said it all in a rush. "Haven't you ever fallen in love, Uncle Henry? Maybe when you were younger?"

Viad glared at the Fyo kid. It was clear he was in a really bad mood now. "Go back to your tent RIGHT NOW," he said loudly. "Come on, get up, kid. It's late at night, an' you need to sleep well, we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow."

Fyodor Balouch had just touched a nerve, clearly without wanting to. But the reaction was angrier than he had expected, and Fyo had no idea what to do. When he was told to go back to his camp, though, he stood his ground.

Viad glared at the Fyo kid again. "Get. Up." His moustache was bristlin' again - always a danger sign. "No excuses," he snapped. "Get into that tent, or pack your bags an' get ready to leave tomorrow." He was really serious now. Really mad too. An' his tones made it clear that if the kid didn't leave the spot right now, he really would be leavin' the camp tomorrow.

Wow. Talk about ferocious uncles. Fyo opened his mouth to protest, before realizing it was of no use: The way Uncle Henry looked now, Fyo had no doubt that, if he argued, he really would be sent off.

"Not fair," he mumbled. "Not fair at all." He gently took his hand out of Lissy's grip and stood up, but not before he had given her a hug. Yup, that was his sign of rebellion. "G'bye, Butterfly," he said, not wanting to go at all. Shooting a look the angry Uncle Henry's way, he trudged back to his tent.

He wanted his Butterfly.

It was a good thing that kid had left. Viad grunted, before turnin' to the Alice girl. "You too," he snapped. "Get goin', off to your tent. You can't sleep out here, it's not safe, girl." He was still angry over what the Fyo kid had asked him, an' it showed too clearly in his words.

Nat was here. NAT! He had not seen her for a whole year, and he was glad she had come over. They lit up a campfire together, and he began to tell her about the flooding when, all of a sudden, she changed into a chocolate frog card. He was confused, when --

Fyo sat up, realizing that slabs of sunlight were peeking in through.... well, they were peeking in, wasn't that enough? His wristwatch beeped a faint half past eight in the morning, and he suddenly scrambled to his feet. They had overslept, hadn't they? Hadn't they?

"Torin!" he called out, literally shaking his best mate awake. "Get up, it's over eight - and I'm really hungry."

Well, he was.

He had just been having a wonderful dream where he and Professor Bunbury were ruling over the land of Chocolate Frogs when suddenly Fyo had to ruin it all by waking up. "Can you knock it off?" he said sitting up groggily and throwing a pillow at Fyo. "You woke me up from a great dream where me and Anastasia were King and Queen of the land of Chocolate Frogs." And he thought he remembered something about Quidditch in the dream too.

"You're evil," Fyo said, when Torin told him about the silly dream he had been having. "You'll never be the King of Choco Frog land - not with Professor Bunbury as its Queen, anyway. You're just the King of Bunz, and being King of Bunz is nothing special at all."

He had ducked the pillow, and now threw it back at Torin Baked Alaska Kane. "You're a very bad kitty."

"Shows what you know," he said as he settled back down in his sleeping bag ready to go back to bed. Just 'cause Fyo wanted to get up now didn't mean that he did. He didn't even react to the pillow being thrown back at him other than to grab it and place it back under his head again.

WAIT A SECOND! Was Torin Kane really going back to sleep?

"You're staying awake, yes you are," Fyo said, arms crossed against his chest as he surveyed one, REALLY badkitty. "Or else I'm going to pour a bucketful of cold water on you, and you won't like that at all." He meant what he was saying, too. Cold badkitty, soon?

"No you are NOT!" he said grumpily. "Just 'cause you like getting up at 8:30 doesn't mean that I have to. It's summer. I'm sleeping in." He wondered if it was still possible to salvage that dream at this point.

"You just want that stupid dreams of yours to continue," Fyo said angrily. "That's it, isn't it, Tor?" Torin was being a REALLY badkitty, today. "I swear I'm going to throw cold water on your HEAD, if you don't wake up. I'm serious, Torin." He was feeling slightly cranky, at the moment.

Fyo gave up. Gave up, for the moment, on trying to convince Torin about Professor Bunbury dreams = dangerous, that is - Not on making him stay awake. "Aren't you hungry?" he asked Torin. "I mean, I know I am."

Fyo ignored Torin's first comment entirely. "No, you're not," he insisted, when Torin said he was fine. "You're hungry.Your stomach wants food, don't you get it? Don't be cruel to your stomach!"

Viad had had a good night's sleep. He had been mad at the Fyo kid of course, but once the drowsiness had overcome him, he had forgotten it at all. It might have actually bin the first thing he would remember, when he woke up the followin' day, but wakin' up the followin' day brought the person he had been waitin' for: Indigo Moretti.

Indigo had had a nice time of it. Her father had left here there an', at the moment, she looked anythin' but a camper. Hair flowin' open underneath her usual style of cap, the fourteen year old teen had a nice smile on her face. She knew Uncle Henry loved her, an' she was certainly doin' nothin' to ruin his impression of her: she had arrived punctually, at seven sharp, an' they had gone to have a look around the forest.

They were both havin' breakfast now.

"I think I'll check on those kids now," Viad growled. It was a quarter to nine an' they were still sleepin'! God! "Those stupid boys."

Boys? Indigo's ears perked up. Oh my, boys! That's what she had been waitin' for, of course. "Don't bother, uncle, let me see to them," she said with a pretended innocent smile an', before Uncle Henry could even think of sayin' no to her, the beauty had dashed off towards Fyo an' Torin's tent.

Reachin' it, she didn't even bother to seek permission before enterin'. She went right in, realizin' at once that both boys inside were pretty......... hot! Niiiiiice! "Hey guys," she said, flashin' them her widest smile.

He was about to retort back at Fyo when suddenly he heard someone entering the tent. That was sorta rude! He jolted up and was about to tell off Reese or Alice, whichever one it was when he saw that it was a girl he had never seen before. A really pretty girl. "Well, hello there," he said suddenly smiling at her.

The guy was........ smilin'. Indigo flashed him another of her smiles. She had still to decide which of the guys was better-lookin' but, for now, both were game.

"Are you Torin or Fyo?" she asked, with a tinkling, silvery laugh. "Uncle Henry's been talkin' about both of you."

Alice laughed all the time by the way Fyo was trying to scare her. Ofcourse for fun. She shook her head and giggled when he roared like a cute Lion. Yes. Very cute yet true Lion. When she was about to say something she heard Uncle Henry's rought voice. She was freezed on his lap. What was now?! They caught in time with cookie Jar.

But..but. What Uncle Henry Said?! Useless Love?! Alice's eyes widened in shock. How could it be possible for a big old man to say something negative words to their young ones?!

Alice sat there, stunned. She could barely hear Fyo's reply and finally his warm comfortable hug. "G'night Fyo" all she could say right at the moment.

Then he was gone. She was alone again, staring at the dark.

A burst of sunlight, accompanied by a voice, made Fyo look up - only to see a pretty girl. His jaw dropped open, not because she was gorgeous or anything, but because, by the looks of it, she had just knowingly walked into a boys' tent without so much as the least bit of permission!

"Hi," he said dryly. What he really wanted to say, now, was "Who are you?" but, since that would sound rude, he contended himself with a, "Any chance that I know you?"

Merlin's pink sock, she knew their names! Well, at least she didn't know who was who. Fyo raised an eyebrow, before saying, "I'm Fyo, he's Torin. Who are you, anyway?" The last question because, if she knew their names, it was only fair that he get to know hers, too.

Indigo turned towards Fyo, who was being rather rude to her. On purpose, too. She didn't let that get to her, though - that was just not Indigo. It did make her feel more inclineed towards Torin, though. "Nope," she told Fyo. "You don't know me, but I do know you."

Then she turned her large eyes towards Torin. "I'm Indigo," she said, extendin' a hand. "Indigo Moretti. An' Uncle Henry really is my uncle - I'm his neice. Nothin' like him though," she laughed. "It's such a pleasure meetin' you, Torin."

"Oh," he said frowning slightly now. This was a bit weird. "So why is there a beautiful girl in our tent now?" He didn't even seem to realize that it might be rude to talk about her as if she wasn't there.

"Believe me, the pleasure is all mine," he added to Indigo with a wink. He was seeming to remember himself now. "So what brings you around, luff?" He was talking as if strange girls intruded on him every day.
