Jacob's mouth dropped a little. "Really?" he said, smiling a little. "Are you serious?

Hallie nodded her head. "I'm not joking I wouldn't on something this serious" she said smiling slightly 'all the signs are there I've known awhile. Morning Sickness. gaining weight dead tired by the end of the day always hungry" she said naming things off on her fingers.

Jacob smiled at her happily. "Hallie, that is so great!" he said, not really thinking about the Population Police or anything, he just hugged her tightly.

Halllie hugged him back. "Im glad your happy" she said

Jacob smiled, and placed his hand on her stomach, feeling the curve of it. "Oh no," he said, just remembering the Population Police. "Hallie, your pregnant!" he said, hoping no one heard his shrill voice. "What are we going to do?"

Hallie looked at him. "I know" she said her voice sounding a bit more sad. "that was another reason why I havent said anything" she said "but I dont know what we are going to do" she said

"Don't worry," Jacob sighed tirdly, smiling at her. "We'll figure out that later. How along are you again?" he said, counting on his fingers. His mind went somewhere else. His wife was pregnant. He smiled at her, snaping back to life and waiting on an answer. "The farthest along you are, the sooner we leave. I'll figure out a way, baby, don't you worry."

Hallie chuckled. "Just about a month and a half" she said "no more than that I think" she said "maybe two but thats it" she said trying to remember. It seemed so far away. She looked at him. "leave?!?!" she questioned her eyebrows coming together "we cant leave. we are lucky we are still alive as it is." she said "its like impossible to leave" she said slowly and carefully getting off the washing machine deciding she better throw the laundry in. "I have to hide it from them...they cant know before we leave" she said making up her mind that they had to go. She stood up and kissed him.

"Not impossible!" Jacob said. "Dumbledore's still hiding out here somewhere. And don't you think they'll notice you've got a huge stomach when you get farther along? And, if they do, they'll -" he gulped, "they'll kill it, maybe you. And if they don't find out, what if you go into labor or something? Won't they notice the crying? Won't they notice the baby? Or babies?"

Hallie looked at her her eyes filling with unshed tears. "I know" she said softly "we have to leave but we cant just yet we need a plan or something...We have seven months before the baby or babies are born Jacob. I will grow but thankfully this ugly dress will cover me for a couple more months. and you need sleep." she said trying not to cry. 'stupid hormones' she thought.

"So do you," Jacob said, hugging her again. "Come on, I think we should go," he said, kissing her. "I have kitchen duty, so I'll be in the kitchen if you need me," he added, opening the door before going out.

Hallie smiled and kissed him before starting the laundry and nodded "I'm fine really" she said as he left. She grinned and started walking around not sure what to do next. 'okay laundry check....what next' she thought trying to remember.

Jacob frowned, going into the kitchen and cleaning the food off of the floor. He wanted to be with Hallie, in thier own house or their common room. Stupid, stupid Population Police.

Hallie went downstairs to where they were sleeping and she sat down in a chair massaging her ankles that were swollen twice the normal size. She was temped to lay down on her cot and take a nap since she couldn't remember what she was supposed to do. She yawned and relaxed in the chair as much as she could wishing that her feet would stop throbbing.

Jacob sighed, walking to his room and going to sleep.

Four months later, when Hallie was but six months along, they met yet agian in the laundry room. Jacob had formed a plan, they just had to get up really early. "Hallie," he said, whispering to her, "I have a plan to get us out." he locked the door agian.

Hallie looked up at him and grinned. "thats good I dont think this little one can be hidden much longer" she said grinning slihglty. She stood up with only slight difficult and looked at him. "whats you plan?" she asked rubbing the small of her back with her hand.

Jacob smiled. "Well, we meet up at the Gargoyle statue when everyone is asleep. That's were Dumbledore's office is, and he always has a sweet password, so it'll be easy. Dumbledore will clear up everything," he said, going close to her and placing his hand on her stomach.

Hallie smiled. "well...that sounds like a plan but how will we know if Dumbledore is up there...I mean what if he left and all..and all those stairs" she said moaning slihgtly thinking about her ankles that were now huge and didn't fit her shoes anymore. They were sittoing by the door. She grinned feeling Jacob's hand on her stomach "Yes I am a whale" she said grinning.

"Aw, no you're not," Jacob smiled. "I'll carry you. You shouldn't be that heavy." he said, stroking her hair. "He has to be there, it's his school. Besides, where would he go to live?"

Hallie chuckled "no need to carry me I'll be fine" she said smiling "when are we going to do this?" she asked smiling slihgtly. She leaned against them so tired she could probably fall asleep.

"I insist. And about three AM. Be sure to get a little sleep." Jacob said, looking at her stomach.

Hallie nodded slihgtly. "I dnt know....if I can be up at three" she said her sentance inturrupted by a yawn. She glanced at her stomach "you want a girl or a boy first?" she asked smiling.

"Didn't you ask me that already?" Jacob said. "I don't mind, as long as it's healthy," he said. "Soon we'll know," he added, kissing her on the lips, then pulling up her shirt to reveal her stomach, and that was it. "Hallie," he said, pure joy in his voice. "I love you!"

Hallie smiled "Oh yeah I did didn't I" she said grinning. She yawned quickly. "sorry I forgot" she said smiling. Hallie looked down at her stomach thinking it was horrible sight. "Yuck dont look its horrible" she said shaking her head. She smiled "I love you too" she said 'stupid stupid hormones..and Population Police' she thought rubbing her hand over her stomach "a few more months" she whispered

"You do not!" Jacob smiled reassuringly at her. "But if you don't want me too, I won't look," he smiled, covering his eyes playfully. He was optimistic, and believed soon, they'd have a child, or children, in their own home, very much free. "But then I can't see you," he said, trying to find her hand.
