It is in the all too soon future. Or in our world. Harry and his friends are but 16 and have a big problem. There is a new law that says in every family, only two children are allowed. But Molly and Aurther Weasley have seven! Harry and Hermione is safe, but there are others that aren't. If they don't help the "Shadow Children" as they are called, they might.....no one knows. But they can't let that happen. Because a league of Shadow Children is formed and they will fight for their lives. Harry is still a wizard and so is his friends BUT some of the Shadows are Muggles, so they have to keep that a secret. All of the Shadow Children have aliases and fake I.Ds. They need your help!!

I need a couple of rules here. Some of my other RPs have been abandoned and I don't want this one to end that way. Please follow these rules:

Rule # 1: I need people who are active. Please, post at least ONCE A DAY. If you don't I will have to PM you. I understand that it is a busy season and I too have busy things to do. But please state WHY you have been missing.

That is the only rule and I wish you would obey it. Please and thank you.

Jacob shook his head, motioning for her to not tell them their secret as the whiped him once. He screamed, for it was where a deep, nasty cut was.

Hallie continued to touch his face gently. The tears that were in her eyes a moment ago were spilling over. Then they whipped him again and she was temped to walk up to the officer and break the whip in half. She wanted to kill them all but all she could do was look into Jacob's eyes. Then she heard a familiar voice and turned to look towards where she had thought it had come from.

"This is my nephew and his girlfriend!" the vioce said, coming into clear veiw. "Stop!"

"Mr. Talbot," Jacob said silently.

"Who?" the man said. "Jacob Kendrick is your nephew?"

"Yes, and here are their IDs," Mr. Talbot said, coming into the room and shoving the IDs into the officer's arms. He rushed to Jacob and motioned Hallie to come over to him. "Why were you doing this?"

"We thaught they were - illegals. Sorry, George. They were wondering out after curfew. They didn't have their IDs, so we took them."

"And you beat Jacob?"

"That wasn't me," the man lied. "You are free to go," he said, giving Mr. Talbot the ID cards.

"Are you OK?" Mr. Talbot whispered to the both of them.

Hallie saw Mr.Talbot and could almost kiss him. She walked over to Mr. Talbot slightly uneasily. She was feeling nausious but she wasnt going to tell anoyone that. She took a deep breath and continued towards Mr. Talbot her legs still shaking. She nodded not being able to speak.

Jacob nodded, going to Hallie and hugging her lightly, whispering, "Oh, I love you so much."

Mr. Talbot smiled. "Come on, let's get into the car. We'll dress your wounds and return you to Hogwarts. I've allready called Dumbledore, he knows. He sends his regards and tells you to return anytime you want too."

Hallie looked at him and layed her head on his chest. Suddenly she got out of his arms and ran out through the door they had come for rounding a corner she emptiyed the nasious feeling in her stomach she walked away taking slowl careful steps before leaning against the wall and sliding down closing her eyes. She held her pounding head in her hands.

Jacob walked as best as he could behind Mr. Talbot. "Hallie," he said, "come here!" he said, waving his hand. He smiled at her as best as he could. "Let's talk."

Mr. Talbot climbed into the sleek, black limo, into the front. "In the back, guys."

Hallie got up. She was nervous as to what Jacob wanted to talk to her about. She was glad that he was okay and they were leaving she climbed into the limo and looked at him. "Yeah" she said folding her hands in her lap.

"I know, that's harsh, but I didn't want to do that to you. I love you too much. When I saw you, alive, I wanted to hold you and kiss you. They wouldn't let me, and I was too weak. But, I'm not now, just sore. I want to keep you in my sight....forever. Well, figurativly speaking."

Hallie bit her cheek. Tears were stinging her eyes again but these were happy tears. She smiled and tilted her head to the side slightly. "what are yu saying Jacob?" she asked quietly.

Jacob looked at her in his I-know-you're-lying look. He took out something in his pocket, something that was given to him by his mother and that he always kept with him. He twirled it in his hand, not letting Hallie know what it was. "If I give you something, will you gladly take it?"

He twirled it a few times more and kissed her deeply. He got her hand and put the golden ring on her finger. "A ring," he said as he slid it on her ring finger. "I love you, Hallie Rose Thomas. I will be glad if you accept this invitation to, sometime soon, become Hallie Rose Kendrick. Or until the law passes, and you will be Alli Kendrick." he said, hoping to explain his rash decision after she spoke up.

Hallie knew tears were falling down her cheeks and she wiped them away before kissing him. "Of course" she said smiling "Allison Marie Kendrick...I like that" she said. She smiled and stared at the ring. "Oh I love you sooo much" she said wrapping her arms around his neck.

Jacob smiled, his heart subsiding in the racing. "I love you, too, baby," he smiled hugging her and kissing her agian. "I know it's soon and some might think we are too young but.... I love you so much and I wanted to know what having a family was like before I die," he said, holding her as close as he could.

"Trust me if I have any say in it your going to be around a looong while" she said kissing him back. She tried to hide a yawn three hours of sleeping on a stone floor can made a person exausted that and the rest thats happened to her lately.

Jacob looked at her lovingly. "OK, that's fine by me," he smiled as the limo came to a stop. Mr. Talbot opened the door, smiling like he heard the whole conversation.

"Come, come, come," he smiled, eyes beaming. "We are here! I will send for Maddie! And a minister later. Come, time to get those wounds dressed and get a bed ready. We are at Mr. Hendricks' house, so you may not know him."
