"What?!" she called out to Alex as he jumped off the broom. "You are not leaving me here!" cried Danielle, flying down to him. A tree branch almost hit her from behind. Luckily, she swerved out of its way in the nick of time. "Not bad... not bad. I'm still good with the broom," she praised herself.

"Better for you to be up there, than down here!" Alex shouted, ducking a book that went flying across the hall.

Alex tried all the curses he knew, sending them flying at Daniel. Nothing worked. "I am so out of alternatives."

The curses fired by Alex did not affect the strong vines covering Daniel's possessed body. The curses was reflected and hit several students on the ground. Some were running around with snake hair; some became large that made their running slower; while some could not anymore because of the Petrification spell that hit them.

Minutes had passed and the vines started to separate. A large dark flower emerged from the space between the separated vines. The dark petals were still close but few minutes after that, it opened.

Alex's eyes widened. "Go to **** you stupid lumbering plant!" He shouted, and conjured the severing charm in hopes of cutting the flower off of the stem.

Danielle was still on the broom, dodging reflected curses that were then sent to the students below. "Go to **** you stupid lumbering plant!" she heard Alex shout. She couldn't help but to stifle down a laugh.

A large, dark flower began to emerge between the vines. Danielle tried the Incendio charm again, hoping to burn it. She knew it wouldn't work but there's no harm in trying.

All of Danielle and his efforts were fruitless. Every spell, charm, and cure Alex knew, he shot at this beast-flower, but to no evail. He was running very low on ideas. He glanced up at Danielle to see how she was fairing, and wasn't much better.

The dark-colored flower started producing pollens. These pollens were big in size and instead of its color yellow, it had a color of bright red, the color of god of Evil of Egypt, Set. The pollens slowly fell on the ground. As it touched the dried ground, they exploded and unknown monsters came out of them. As more pollens were produced and touched the ground, more monsters were created.

Alex panicked, and conjured another floating platform to jump onto. "How the **** are we to beat these things?" He shouted.

"Here!" she called out to Alex, offering her hand. "Get on the broom, quick!" Alex shook his head. "Alex... do it before that thing chomps your leg off!" she cried. Alex looked behind him and there was a huge dog-like monster directly behind him.

When he finally got on the broom, they zoomed upwards. "Seriously..." said Danielle, "What are we going to do? We can't win!"

Alex looked at Danielle. "I have no bloody clue!"

"Umm.. umm... umm.." said Danielle, scratching her head and looking worried. They avoided a ball of fire that was sent towards them. "Whoa!"

Although Daniel was invincible, the evil creatures were not. After hours of battling them, the creatures were gone. Before Daniel could create more of them, the surviving teachers managed to get hold of the Hogwarts students and everyone was back inside the castle. One of the teachers created a giant forcefield around the castle.

"The force field isn't going to last long," said Danielle, climbing down from the broom. Each and everyone in Hogwarts were guddled together in the great Hall. According to the deputy headmistress, the Ministry had been contacted but they have not received a reply. Danielle and Alex looked at everyone around them, some were badly hurt, some were shivering.

Madam Pomfrey was there aiding the wounded. But she alone wasn't enough so Danielle volunteered to help her. "I'll be back... I'm just gonna help Madam Pomfrey," she said. Before she got up from the floor, she noticed a small pool of blood. "Alex... you're hurt. Hold on..." said Danielle and she took out her wand and flicked it above his wound. It was healed immediately. "There..." she smiled, then she kissed him on the cheek and went to the others.

Alex smiled. "Thanks love. You go on and help Madame Pomfrey. I'll see if I can find any books on fighting an invincable God's prodigey."

With Danielle's assistance, everyone in the hall was healed in less than an hour. She later went to find Alex again. She saw him looking through a huge pile of books. Danielle slipped her arms around him from behind, she kissed his neck and slowly moved on to his cheek. "So... you found anything yet?"

"Not a d*** thing. Nothing whatsoever. It's hopeless. I'll have to go into Nocturn Alley to find what I'm looking for. But that's the thing. I have no idea what to look for!"

"Are you sure?" she asked him. Danielle moved some books around the table. "Because I remembered there were a few books on ancient magic in Egypt. I know... I've read them before. Have you tried the Restricted Section?" said Danielle, flipping through some books. "Ahah!" she exclaimed. "Told you so," she smiled and called him to her, " This happened before.... a few centuries ago. It involved another student from another school in Asia."

"Talk about mistical deja vu. Wait a minute, it was in that stupid stack this whole time? Oi!"

"Uhhh... yeah, it was," said Danielle, "It was under this book." She picked a big, brown book and showed it to him. She began to read aloud the contents of the book: "In the year 1654, the Egyptian ancient God of Evil, Seth was resurrected by a student from La Escuela de la Brujería y la Hechicería."

"Oh... it's in Spain, my mistake," said Danielle then she continued reading the book. "Ummm... there's not much about it though. Apparently, the student died and Seth was sent back to the Underworld. He was possessed by Seth before his death, just Like Daniel. But... how he died, they didn't say. There's nothing about the Book of the Dead though."

"Well, from that, it seems like we need to find a way to kill Daniel. And with Set protecting him, that will be impossible. We need to get the Book of...Wait a minute! The Book of Amun Ra is the one that takes life away! Not the Book of the Dead!! But we still need to get to Egypt to get it! How are we going to win this love?"

"I thought you needed the Book of the Dead to send souls back to the Underworld," said Danielle. She looked up to Alex, "I think that they're gonna end term earlier, exams cancelled and all the students sent home. If it does... we can head to Egypt immediately."

"I made a mistake. It was the Book of the Living. It's gold," Alex explained to Danielle. "And that would be excellent. I just hope my mother lets me go."

"If she doesn't... I'll get my dad to talk to her. He's an Auror. He can say that you're needed really badly and stuff coz' you and I have a link to it or something," said Danielle. Alex looked down to his shoes. He didn't seem very confident about her answer.

"Look..." said Danielle, taking his hand in hers. She looked deeply in his eyes and smiled, "It's going to be alright, Alex. I know it."

"That would be good." Alex smiled at Danielle. "I trust your judgement."

You think we should skip to the end of term? Coz' RJ said that he plans a sequel and he'll open it up to more people but still keep the three main characters. What do you think? I'm gonna go ask RJ...
