Plot

The Book of the Dead is consisted of texts, religious and poetic, which are songs, hymns to the gods, and prayers to Amon-Re and Osiris. These texts were supposed to aid the dead, giving the soul directions for the journey through the underworld and words or magic spells to protect it from its enemies.

Now...
The Ministry of Magic (of England) received a letter from the Minister of Egyptian Magic Office saying that "The Book of the Dead" was missing since the 29th of August. It also said that he (Minister of England) should tell it among the wizards and witches to be careful.

Few more days, the new term in Hogwarts would soon open. But what should the students, the staff, and even ghosts should do to be secure in their school. Then a new problem bloomed... one of the students HAVE the book. But which one of them?!

Danielle watched Alex turn around the corner before she slipped into her common room. Everyone was asleep and as she walked up the stairs to the girls' dorm, she said to herself, "What a day!"

Next morning in the Great Hall, Natalie giggled as Danielle told her about last night. After all, it was the best she ever felt.

Alex walked out of the Slytherin common room. The only thought in his head, was about the night before. "I ate that whole plate of Spaghetti in a matter of minutes. I must've looked like a fool." He said to himself.

After finishing her breakfast, Danielle and Natalie gathered her books to head for Potions. On the way out of the Great Hall, she saw Alex, mumbling to himself. "Morning, Alex. I was just about to head to the Dungeons."

"Hey. Bloody Potions today." Alex wasn't happy about Potions, but Danielle made him feel better.

"So I'll see you in there, love," said Danielle and she headed to Potions with Natalie. Snape was not in class yet when they arrived. She took a seat at the back of the class which was somewhere next to door. Then, Snape walked in and glared at her.

Alex saw the way Snape glared at Danielle, and it made him hate Snape even more. As Alex took his seat, he cast an evil look at the Potions master.

Danielle noticed Alex looking at Snape in a wicked sort of way. "Alex, he just glared at me. He does that to everyone. It's no big deal."

Alex smiled at his own stupidity. "That was kind of dumb huh?" He asked, blushing. "But I can't help it. My feelings for you over-power my will to think clearly."

Danielle smiled back at him. Soon, Snape started the lesson. Today's lesson was about creating one of the most used potions in Azkaban, Veritaserum. Danielle tried hard to concentrate on the blackboard but it seems that her hand kept finding Alex's hand.

Alex smirked and grased Danielle's hand. "Veritaserum is simple...I'll teach it to you after class." Alex whispered.

Hearing Alex's words, she smiled slightly and blushed. She was so happy to be with him. Everytime she's with him, she felt the best... nothing could stop her from feeling that way, not even some stupid, ancient god of evil. After hearing Snape's boring talk on Veritaserum, class was over although they were left with a whole bunch of homework to do. Danielle walked out of the class with Alex.

When they exited the class, Alex started to mock Snape, "the truth potion only works if the secret holder chooses to divuldge their secret. Really? I never knew that." Alex chuckled and looked at Danielle. "Did I metion that you look beautifull today?"

She blushed. As he stared into her eyes and put his head around her shuolder, she leaned in and pecked him on the cheek. It made him blush and his face was now a shade of magenta. She giggled at the sight of it.
