''AVADA KEDAVRA!'' Kingsley threw himself behind a tree as the curse whizzed past him, making a tree just a few feet away burst into flames. He was duelling furiously with a Death Eater in a forset just outside of Ottery St Catchpole, and currently, neither of them had the upper hand. Kingsley leapt out from behind the tree and shouted ''Impedimenta!'' The spell hit the Death Eater, and he froze, giving Kingsley just enough time to tackle him to the ground, and point his wand between the man's eyes which were hidden in the mask. The Death Eater cursed loudly as he unfroze, then began to whimper as he saw Kingsley. Typical. Death Eaters were nothing but bullies, and like all bullies, they near enough wet themselves when threatened with actual physical harm. ''Well then?'' said the Death Eater. His voice was hoarse and scratchy, as if he had a bad case of laryingitis. ''Aren't you going to kill me?'' he asked. ''Not yet'' replied Kingsley. ''First, I want information.'' The Death Eater merely said ''I'm not saying anything to you, you dirty piece of Hippogriff-'' but was cut off by Kingsley before he finished his sentence. ''Uh uh uh, you forget who has the wand and who has it pointed at them. Now tell me, are there any more of you around here?'' The Death Eater swore, and then said ''As I said before, I'm not telling.'' Kingsley was starting to get mad. ''TELL ME'' he roared, and red sparks flew from his wand, sizzling on the Death Eater's mask. ''OK, OK, I'll tell you'' said the Death Eater. ''There are a few of us just north of here, OK? You happy now?'' Kingsley detected no lie from the man, and he was an excellent Occlumens. ''Now you've told me, I can't risk sending you back now can I?'' he said. ''Avada Kedavra!'' The Death Eater went limp, and Kingsley Apparated.

He appeared inside the Ministry, where the Minister was talking to a woman at a desk. He walked up to him. ''One less Death Eater to worry about Minister'' he said. ''And some useful information for the Hogwarts students as well. As it happens, there is a small gathering of Death Eaters just north of Ottery St Catchpole, I presume you know where that is Minister?'' Kingsley said, raising an eyebrow. ''Anyway, are the children here? I would like to offer them a hand, or two if I can spare it'' he said, with a slight grin.

Lydia opened the door and cautiously poked her head out. She looked around, and when she was sure that the hall was empty she snuck out and quietly made her way down to the meeting spot her and her friends had arranged. As she neared, she saw the outline of three girls standing by a statue of Albert the Atrocious.
"finally." one of them whispered. "i didn't think you'd ever come!" it was Cassey.
"well i almost didn't thanks to Kelly." Lydia whispered, referring to the nosey girl in her dorm room. She turned to Tara "did you bring everything?"
"Yes," she whispered back. then a fourth timid, quavering voice said, "we really shouldn't do this... we're going to get caught i know we are.. we shouldn't do this.. Once we get caught then we'll be expelled... and my parents are going to be so mad.."
"LISSY!" Cassey interrupted the girl who was get increasingly more hysterical. "Do you want to get it back or not?"
"y-yes i do." she stuttered.
"then stay focused!!" Cassey demanded.
Lydia silently laughed at the pair. Cassey was known for her brusqueness, and that's probably why she didn't have many friends, other than the three of them who knew her best. She motioned to them and they soundlessly walked out onto the grounds and down to the forbidden forest.

Personality: When you first meet Jaeke, he can seem very, very confident. Maybe even overly-confident that he’s egotistical. He’s very energetic and adventurous, also enthusiastic, courageous and quick-witted. He never backs down a dare, which can lead to awful things, but as much as Jaeke can seem stubborn and impulsive, he’s just as persuasive and to put it this way - he seems to have lots of girls that want him, but just for looks.

Description: Seth is around 6 foot tall and still growing. He has an athletic build from playing sports but his features are soft, providing him with a welcoming and friendly look.

Personality: Seth is all about fun. He loves to be the joker of the group, he tries to enjoy himself no matter what he's doing and tries to get everyone else to do the same thing. He is quick-witted and has a fast-paced mind, always thinking a couple of steps ahead of whatever is happening, this helps him to be a good chess player. Unknown to most people he has a sensitive side which only his friends really see. To them he can be caring and compassionate, showing the right amount of restrain on his jokes in situations that need it, but he is always ready to lighten the mood if things get to tense for his liking. He adapts to most things well and uses everything he learns to try and help him become a better person. He's a cheerful guy and it takes a lot to upset him. Anubis.
Other names: Anpu, Inpu, Ienpw, Imeut [ Lord-of-the-Place-of-Embalming].
Patron of: Mummification, and the dead of their path through the underworld.
Appearance: A man with the head of a jackal-like animal. Unlike a real jackal, Anubis' head is black, representing his position as a god of the dead. He is rarely shown fully-human, but he is depicted so in the Temple of Abydos of Rameses II. There is a beautiful statue of him as a full jackal in the tomb of Tutankhamun.
Description: Anubis is an incredibly ancient god, and was the original god of the dead before Osiris "took over" the position. After that point, Anubis was changed to be one of the many sons of Osiris and the psychopomp (conductor of souls) of the underworld. His totem of the jackal is probably due to the fact that jackals would hunt at the edges of the desert, near the necropolis and cemeteries throughout Egypt.
Prayers to Anubis are found carved on the most ancient tombs in Egypt, and his duties apparently are many. He watches over the mummification process to ensure that all is done properly. He conducts the souls through the underworld, testing their knowledge of the gods and their faith. He places their heart on the Scales of Justice during the Judging of the Heart, and he feeds the souls of wicked people to Ammit.

"..Whoa," a voice let out through the quiet hum of the engine of the private jet. The tall, muscular, dark-haired boy, by the name of Jaeke, was going to Egypt, to study abroad for a semester.

He, with a handful of other carefully-chosen students were picked on this once in a lifetime adventure. Jaeke agreed to it quickly, seeing it was his homeland and he already knew much about Egpyt - so he figured he'd get an easy A+. He, by the way, was on a private jet with the other students. The Headmaster of their school didn't want them to give attention to themselves by traveling by magic, so he provided a muggle-way of getting to Egypt.

He was reading about Anubis - the God of the Dead in Egpyt - just in case they needed to know this. Although with his rebellious attitude, he *kind of* cared about his grades. I mean, who wouldn't - if your grade drops then you won't be able to get that 150, 000 dollar car you wanted, or an expensive vacation on your own private island.

He glanced around, realizing it was very late in the night, and oddly, he couldn't hear the other students. Oh wait. He still had his headphones on and his music blaring. Eh, whatever. As long as they don't bother him, than he was okay.

He sighed, as he flipped through the book about Gods, coming across heiroglyphics and grinning. Finally. Something he could actually translate. With a small smirk on his face - positive that he was the only one that actually knew heiroglyphics - he started translating. The bad thing is, Jaeke often couldn't hear what he was thinking because of his music, so he'd often state his thoughts outloud.

Which is what he exactly did right now - and very loudly, I might add.
