Whereas Tallie had insisted on doing practically everything by herself for the cookout, Lucas certainly could not bring himself to let her do that. He tried to help by getting up the food so that Tallie could easily bring it outside. He even tidied up the kitchen for her when all was done. He'd do it again if necessary but he wanted things to be well organised today for Tallie's sake.

When all was done, the man moved outside. Brody was with him. "There's Aunt Tallie. Let's go see if she has anything for us to do.''

His nephew nodded and ran off. "Auntie Tallie! Do you have any chores for me to help with?'' Brody looked at Tallie with shining eyes. He adored her so much. She was always so nice to him.

Lucas caught up with his almost always energetic nephew. "I didn't get to tell you earlier, Tallie, but you look wonderful.'' She usually did as she had a great sense of fashion. Casual yet elegant.

Victoria thought it was very sweet that Talullah had invited them all over. She enjoyed cookouts and got her family ready to go. Three girls under the age of 9 and her husband. That was a big task. She always made sure to make some cheesy potatoes to bring as well. She hated going to gatherings without being able to offer something when she got there.

Moving towards the door she knocked and looked at her three girls. "Now I want you on your best behavior. I know Regina will be here to." Mariel had said she was going to come so she assumed the kids would be there too. It was nice to have them around her girls ages that they played together.

Alana was grumpy it wasn't that she didn't want to be there, but she was getting upset. The more her twin was being able to do magic the more she couldn't figure out why. What if she was never good at magic or what if it never came?

"Muuuum do we really have to go? Couldn't we go to the park instead?" She didn't want near all the adults today she wanted to go to her room and try to get her magic to work.

Cookouts was one of Mercedes favorite things about summer, so when Talluah invited her to a cookout Mercedes had to come. Unfortunately, it was just going to be her and Harper, Grayson and daddy needed some guy time. Merlin knows what trouble those two would get into.

Mercedes held on to her daughters hand as they headed up to the door, seeing Victoria and her family there. She smiled warmly to all of them. "Hello guys, How is everyone?" It was nice to see all of them there. Talluah had a nice place.

Where were her and mama going? Harper had no idea, She had never meet Talluah before she didn't think. She wished that daddy and Grayson came with them. But Harper liked it being just them, because little brothers were annoying.

Mama you do not have to hold my hand, that was the look she was giving her mom, she was nearly five years old.. She was a big girl. Clearly, When she seen who was here to she wiggled her hand out of mothers and ran to the girls. "Alana, Elisa, Helena!" At least she would have someone to play with now.

She sat up on the edge of her seat. "Do you really want chores to do?" She asked him in her always cheer tone. She was finding it hard to believe that a child would want to do chores.

Talullah looked up at Lucas once he finally made it to the two of them. "It's nice of you to join us old man." She smiled brightly as she teased him. She had a gut feeling that Brody might just start calling Lucas, old man"Thank you, Lucas." He was so sweet. . Her green eyes looked back at Brody. "I don't have any chores for you to do right now, sweetie but you'll be able to make some friends here." she smiled at him. She even had an extra special job for him. "I would love it if you could show the kids around the house and the lake. Are you up for it? You're the only man for the job." Talullah stood up and started to walk over to Lucas.

Talullah walked back up towards the house and saw Victoria and her beautiful girls making their way towards the house. "Thank you so much for coming, Victoria. I can take those from you." she said as she held out her hands. Mmm, potatoes. Her favorite. She was totally the Irish stereotype and she had no shame about it!

The Irishwoman looked at Victoria's girls. "Hello. I'm Talullah!" she greeted them with a cheery tone and a bright smile. "It's so lovely to finally meet you." Tallie looked around for Brody. He must be still at the shore. "I have some games out for you today, some coloring books and if it's alright with your mum I even have some water balloons. There's all sorts of activities to do here!" she would be a great mother one day...in the future.

Mariel thought it nice of one of her employees to invite her and her family over for a cookout. And it was only good manners that she show, though she also liked Talullah enough to socialize with her on a personal level as well. Since she expected it to be an outdoor, casual event, the department head opted for stylish jeans and a cute top along with wedge sandals. She did dress her daughter in a pretty floral sundress though. Holding the six year old's hand, she headed to the door to knock.

Regina didn't always like going to new places, especially when it was mommy's adult friends. That almost always was so boring. But having been told that some of her friends were going to be there too, the little girl was excited. In fact, she was currently trying to squirm her hand out of her mother's grasp. Could the lady hurry up and open the door for them? She wanted to see her friends!

Brody solemnly shook his head, his eyes wide. “All I wanna do is play with you and Uncle Lucas but Uncle Lucas says I should be nice. Uncle Lucas said I should try to help you. And I want to help you, Aunty Tallie.’’ How could he not? She was always so nice and he wanted to be the same for her.

Old man? The nerve of his best friend! In reply, Lucas placed a hand on his lower back and pretended to be a hunched back and hobbling person. “This here youngster made me get tired with all his running about,’’ he said in a croaky voice before straightening up. “I’m trying to instill good values in him. You know, be helpful to others and so on.’’ He watched Tallie as she approached him, still thinking how beautiful she looked.

She had something else to do that sounded a lot more fun than boring old chores. Brody’s eyes lit up and he nodded. “I am grown up enough to do that, Aunty Tallie! I can help you!’’ Cue one excited Brody Hawthorne! All he needed were the guests to start showing up.

But then guests were arriving and Lucas had to put his thoughts away. He walked with Tallie to greet them. “Hello, everyone! We’re glad you can make it!’’ He sure was glad to see them here, even if there were faces he didn’t know. They were greeted warmly nevertheless. Lucas was especially pleased to see that the adults had brought the kids. “Brody? Come say hi and make some new friends.’’

Brody had, of course, followed his Uncle and Tallie. He peered shyly out from behind Tallie at the other children. “Hello,’’ he said, looking at each of them. “Want to play with water balloons?’’

Victoria smiled as she saw Mercedes and Harper, "Hell you two." This cookout was very nice. She couldn't think of the last time she got to just hangout with her coworkers and not talk about work. Well maybe not talk about work. It always seemed to come up with they were all together no matter what the setting was. "We are doing well." She watched her children as they looked around eagerly. "Thank you for having us. This was such a lovely idea." Handing her the items in hand she stepped in a bit more. "Hello Lucas" She smiled at the boy who had just said hello, "Is he your son?" She wasn't aware of either of them having a child nor was she aware of the two dating... We are glad you could come. She didn't miss that wording. Was there interoffice dating she hadn't known about? Cute, it was cute.

Alana was looking around still a bit distracted. She finally came out of her own thoughts when she heard her name. "Harper" The almost nine year old squealed and ran to hug her friend. She was Cinna's niece and so that meant she was more then just a friend she was family. "Mummy said you were coming." How fun was this did her sisters see Harper was here. Not only Harper but REGINA! More squealing from the little girl as she ran over to Regina and hugged her too. "Your dress is pretty." The five girls were going to over power Alejandro yet again. "Hi Ali" She looked at the boy. Then a new boy come and Alana gave him a soft smile, "Hello, this is my sister Helena and my twin Elisa. These are my friends Regina, Harper, and Alejandro... oh I'm Alana." Running over she hugged her godmother and looked up at her. "Hi Mariel."

Jorge had been use to coming to these types of things between his work and hers. Being the boss was hard, but his wife always did it so well. With their son's hand in his he followed her as she moved towards the house. "Hello everyone." He greeted them as they all came out. SO many people. His smile softened seeing Helena, Alana, and Elisa. He had known them the longest.

This was fun, but Alejandro wasn't into the outfit he was wearing. The shirt was a button shirt and he felt like it was choking him. [B} "Why couldn't I wear my quidditch t-shirt?"[/b] He whined as they moved towards the door. His eyes got bigger as all the people came out. Why so many? Seeing Alana, Helena, and Elisa he made a face. Why was he always surrounded by girls? Harper was the next he saw and yep he was going to end up in a dress today he just knew it. Almost sighing he spotted a boy, A BOY. He was going to have a boy here, so no dress. "Hi"

"Hello, Lucas," Mariel smiled at him as he let her and her family in. "I believe you've met my husband, Jorge. And these are our children, Regina and Alejandro." Jorge had been around the office at least periodically so she was pretty sure everyone in her department was at least acquainted with him. But in case not, she was covered with the introduction.

She saw Victoria, Mercedes, and Talullah up ahead, but before she could go say hello she was greeted by her sweet goddaughter, who of course said hello to her children first. "Hi, Alana," she smiled as she returned the girl's hug. "Are you enjoying the party?" Oh and there was her other goddaughter and their sister. She greeted and hugged them as well before they came to occupy her children.

That was fine, in fact it was probably good that they go play with the other kids. She should probably socialize with some of the adults, though she would still keep an eye on Regina and Alejandro as she was an attentive mother. Her eyes fell on her son as he noticed another little boy and she smiled. Perhaps he found a friend to play with, which was nice. He was sometimes the only boy. Turning to her husband, she said, "Why don't we get something to eat and make sure we say hello to everyone." They could probably make plates for their kids too.

As soon as they walked in, Regina's brown eyes immediately went to people her height, which meant kids! There was Alana and Elisa! "Hi!" She beamed and then let go of Mommy's hand so she could twirl in her dress. "Thanks!" She thought it was pretty too. "Hi, Harper.. Hi, Helena." A lot of her friends were here and she was so excited. This party was going to be fun. She waved at the little boy when Alana told him her name and she gave him her best smile. Then she grabbed her brother's hand. "Come on, Alejandro! Let's go play." She was his big sister, so he had to do what she said!

All to took was two seconds for Harper to wiggle lose from her hands. Mercedes knew exactly which way her daughter was going. She smiled as the little blonde went running to her friends. "Hello Talluah. Thank you for having us over." It really was nice of her to invite them It wasn't very often that she got to spend time outside of the office, besides when it came to family things with Victoria.

Lucas was here already too. "Thanks. It's good to see you." We're? Like we're this is our place we're? Did Mercedes know about this? That is if that was a thing. Interworking relationships she wasn't sure if she could do to but she guessed some could. Well then if it was good for them.

Then Mairel and her family showed up shortly after them. She smiled. "Hello, Mariel, Jorge. Regina, Alejandro." It really was nice to see everyone. Mercedes looked around to see how Harper was doing with the girls and of course the boys too. So far so good.

Harper smiled at Talluah. So this was Miss Talliah. "Hey, Miss Talluah that's me I''m Harper." Her attention was soon bought back to her friends that was there. She just wanted to play. She liked playing with the older girls, Helena was her age, she liked playing with her too. And Regina for course. Who mommy said was coming too. This was going to be great. "Yes, mommy said you were going to be here." Which was the biggest reason why she had to come.

The little blonde had not expected to see the new boy appear. She smiled and waved back to the boy. "Hi. I want to play with water balloons." The boy said her magic words in her book for summer fun. She had water balloon fights with her uncles all the time. She turned to look at her friends. They wanted to play with the water balloons too right?

And Now since Regina and Alejandro was there they could play boys against girls right. The teams wasn't going to be even but that didn't matter. "HEY Regina, Alejandro." They had gotten there just in time in the water balloon fight, but Harper was getting hungry.

Talullah shook her head and rolled her eyes at Lucas as he did an elderly person impression. "You're a piece of work." He was so lame. Why did she love him? The blonde looked back and forth at Lucas and Brody. They were just too adorable. She couldn't take it. "I understand what you're trying to teach him but he's also just a kid and he needs to be able to act like a kid." The Irishwoman said as she put her her hands on her hips and gave Lucas a stern look. As she walked towards everyone she couldn't help but eye Lucas. 'We're', what was that supposed to mean? Last time she checked this was her place, she was complaining but still she owned this house and this house was hers. She loved that Lucas and his nephew lived here but that was just...a slap in the face to hear him say that.

Talullah looked over at Mercedes and Mariel. "Hello, Mariel and family!" She greeted them with a cheerful tone. Tallie looked at Mercedes and her daughter and then watched as Harper ran off. The blonde let out a small chuckle. "She's adorable, Mercedes." she nodded at the woman. Kids were just the best. Talullah looked around at everyone. "Thank you all so much for coming." She wasn't that sure this morning if anyone was going to show up.

Lucas laughed too. "Yeah, I am but you have to deal with it since I'm around you almost twenty four/seven.'' And he loved every second of being around Tallie. He was lucky to have her, wasn't he? "Yes, ma'am!'' He saluted her, appreciating her advice but he couldn't help but feel pressured to raise his sister's child in the right way; with all the proper manners and values. Tallie was right though; he needed to let Brody just be a kid.

He caught the look Tallie gave him and instantly regretted his word choice. Really, it had been a slip up on his part. "I mean, this is all Tallie's doing. I'm glad you're here for her.'' Darn! Lucas had gotten so used to living there that he forgot that it was Tallie's house for a moment.

He looked down at Brody with a smile then back at Vic. "Nope, this is my nephew Brody.'' Lucas didn't want to get into the story of why he became Brody's guardian. Not today at such a fun event. "Hi, Mariel, Jorge! It's great to see you lot somewhere else other than work,'' he said while Brody moved towards the other children. "Hi, kids!'' There were so many of then that Brody was bound to fit in. "Hey, Mercedes! How's it going?''

Brody moved for the others. "Hello, Helen. Elisa. Regina, Harper, and Alejandro and Alana.'' So many new friends! This was all Brody was interested in; all the water balloon fun with these little persons! "This way to the water balloons.'' Brody motioned to Helen and anyone of the others who wanted to have one. "Uncle Lucas helped me fill some of them.'' He led the way.

So much was going on around them. Victoria watched as the people spoke to each other and the children all seemed excited to see each other. Even Alana seemed to perk up a bit, which made her heart happy. She worried about her daughter more and more lately. Realizing her mistake she apologized to Lucas, "Oh well your nephew is a cutie." She really should catch up on the personal lives of her employees so she wouldn't make those types of mistakes again.

"Thank you for having us Tallah." As the rest started to socialize she made her way toward the food. "Kids are you hungry?" She'd make them something if they were, if not she knew they'd come around when they felt like it. "This house is very lovely."

Alana was sticking with Harper and Regina now. She had her friends here. Plus she had her sisters. This was going to be a good day. "My mommy had me wear shorts and not a dress." Her little lip pouted, she wanted a pretty dress to. "She braided my hair in pig tails though." There was a little glitter in them too, did they see? When the boy said about water balloons her eyes opened wide, "Can we throw them?" They weren't the kind the parents would tell them they had to throw at a fence or something and not each other she hoped.

Jorge nodded in his greetings to everyone. He watched the kids gather together. Listening to everyone talk about their lives and so forth. He figured his wife could do all the talking unless they asked him specific questions, he would tend to the kids more. Though watching them they seemed to be off with the young boy. "Be good you two." He called after his own children. Though he would keep an eye on them and knew Mariel would as well.

Why were all the adults still just standing around saying hello? Was there anything fun to do or were they just going to stand there all day. His eyes watched the girls as they talked about dresses and he made yuck faces at them. The boy though, he might be fun to play with and he spoke of water balloons. With this he was about to walk towards him when Regina took his hand. "Gina I'm not a baby." He pulled it away and went in front of the girls to the boy, "Water balloons are cool.

Talullah shook her head at Lucas and giggled. "You're a piece of work." Mhm, her piece of work. Oh, did she just think that? Nope, not at all and good thing nobody here could read minds. The blonde looked up at her best friend. No, no, no. Tallie frowned a little bit. She didn't mean that at all! Talullah shook her head at Lucas again. She playfully nudged him. "I think we should talk after everyone's gone." Lucas was not in trouble but she had been meaning to bring this up for months now. Hopefully she would finally have the correct words. She was avoiding his eyes and blushing a light pink. It was going to be a nervous talk, well, more so for her than him.

Talullah looked over towards Victoria. The Irishwoman had a big, cheery smile on her face. "Oh, well I'm just so happy that people showed up!" She really was. She's wasn't sure if anyone would come to the party. She knew that during the summer time that people would have other family parties to attend. The lovely weather was a factor. People were just busy during the summer. "I'm just so happy that you all could make it! Let's eat!" She said as she gestured towards the food. Turning back towards Victoria, Tallie nodded. "Oh, thank you so much. You should have seen the house when I first bought it. It needed so much work. I did most of the work myself but I also had my little brothers help me as well." She poured her heart and soul into this house and she really hoped it showed.

“Me, a piece of work?’’ Lucas asked Tallie innocently. “I’m never that.’’ He laughed, knowing Tallie was just teasing him. “Yeah, we should.’’ He needed to tell her he was sorry again for blurting that out. Lucas simply nodded. “Alright but are you okay?’’ Tallie’s cheeks were a little pink as though she were flustered.

Lucas smiled, waving a hand to show there was nothing to apologise about. “That’s quite fine, Vic. In many ways he’s my son.’’ Even if Brody called him ‘Uncle’, it didn’t bother him. “Thanks! I must say your children are great too! I’m glad Brody got to meet more kids; he’ll have more friends.’’ Though he attended Primary Wizarding school, Lucas was pleased that he could be more sociable here even if he could be shy at times. “Come on, Vic, Jorge. You hungry? Let’s get something to eat.’’

Brody’s eyes lit up even more. “They are. Want any colour?’’ There were more red balloons because he had made Uncle Lucas fill most of those since they were his favourite colour. “I have much red to share.’’ Even with the girls. He passed a red one to the boy who had said water balloons were cool.

Mariel got in her hello's to Mercedes and Talullah and Lucas. "It's nice to get together outside work sometimes. Thank you for having us." She didn't really know them well socially and, while she did not always find that necessary with work relationships, she didn't mind getting to know them a little better in that way. And she made her way over to Victoria too. "Hello, Vic," she smiled. "It's nice to get the kids to play together again, isn't it?" It was great that her children got on well with her best friend's children. And there were other children there as well, including Harper who she knew Regina liked too. Once the kids went off to play, she looked expectantly at her husband, still waiting for him to answer her question. "Well, let's go then. Let's get something to eat." She could decide for him then. And they might as well get something for the children too as she would need his help with that.

Regina narrowed her eyes at Alejandro as he pulled away from her. Rude. He needed to have better manners and love his sister more. Plus she didn't like to be called Gina. "Well, then say my name like a big kid. It's Regina." If he wasn't a baby then he didn't need to use a baby nickname because she wasn't a baby either. But whatever Alejandro. She was going to play with the girls. Eww! They wanted to play water balloons? "I don't want to mess up my hair or my dress," she said in her most pathetically sweet voice. "I think I want to play something else..." Now she could see what her friends really wanted to do.

New Years Eve
December 31st, 2091

The blonde Irishwoman had been getting ready for about two hours now...she was all ready to head to a New Years Eve party with her older sister, Magnolia. She was told that the party was supposed to be some sort of semi-formal party. That was all she knew. Those plans were interrupted by a phone call from her sister saying that she had some other plans with her girlfriend. Well, here she was in her brand new dress and no place to go.

What was she going to do? She just didn't want to spend all that time getting ready and looking pretty without having anything to do. Maybe she could talk to Lucas and see what he was going to be doing. Talullah walked out of her room and down the small hallway towards the living room. "Lucas?" she called out, she wasn't really sure where Lucas was.

Tallie had plans with her older sister and while he hadn't anything planned for himself, he eventually decided he'd ring in the new year in a quiet way with Brody. Even Brody had agreed to stay up until midnight but yet had managed to fall asleep. Lucas had just carried his sleeping nephew to bed, tucked him in and was now on his way back to the living room though he was thinking of getting a snack for himself.

Hearing his name, he looked to see Tallie making her way towards him. He felt as though the wind had been knocked right out of him. She was looking so gorgeous in her dress and make up and she took the breath right out of him. He fell in love a little more with her.

Realising he was staring, Lucas tried to find is voice. "You're leav-'' His voice sounded hoarse so he cleared his throat and tried again. "You're ready to leave?''

Hearing his name, he looked to see Tallie making her way towards him. He felt as though the wind had been knocked right out of him. She was looking so gorgeous in her dress and make up and she took the breath right out of him. He fell in love a little more with her.

Realising he was staring, Lucas tried to find is voice. "You're leav-'' His voice sounded hoarse so he cleared his throat and tried again. "You're ready to leave?''

Maybe it was good that she wasn't going to the party with her sister. She was only going to know one person there. She was used to not knowing too many people when she was at some interesting gatherings during her Professional Quidditch years. This would be a great time for her to tell Lucas about her feelings. She had been bottling them up for over a year now. There he was and she was looking at her oddly. Very oddly. Talullah looked around the living room of the house and finally found Lucas. "Hey." Why was he looking at her like that? Was there something on her face? Did she look horrible in this dress? This was dress was more so to impress Lucas than anyone that the party she was supposed to go to anyway.

He was still looking at her in that way. Now she was blushing. "Hello." What else was she to say? She had no other words. Tallie bit her bottom lip. Oh, right, she did have something to say. "No...I mean I was supposed to but not anymore. I had just finished getting ready when my sister called and said she wasn't going to be going to the party because she wants to be with her girlfriend." She wasn't going to change her clothes right now, no matter how overdressed she was. She spent way too long getting ready to not wear her new outfit.

Darn! Was his staring what was making Tallie blush? He hadn't meant to be staring but which man in his position would not? Especially any that had feelings- as in more than feelings a best friend usually would have- for her. "Hello. Sorry. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. It's just that you look so beautiful. I mean you always do but...'' You just took my breath away, he thought to himself.

"Oh. That's not very nice of her to cancel your plans.'' Lucas felt sad for Tallie. Then he had an idea. "I know! We can have our own celebration. How does that sound? I'll be your personal chef for tonight.'' That would give him something to do and focus on instead of Tallie. She mostly likely didn't feel the same way that he did anyway.

She was blushing, wasn't she? Oh no. Would that give her feelings away to him? Her palms were starting to get sweaty. Wait...uncomfortable? Why would he say that? Talullah walked closer towards him. "Lucas, I wouldn't allow you and Brody to live with me if you made me feel uncomfortable." He should remember that. She wanted him here, no matter her feelings. She hadn't had feelings for him before he lived here. She wasn't saying that her feelings for him were bad though. "T-thank you." did he really think she was beautiful or was he just saying that to make her feel better.

The blonde woman moved closer and wrapped her arms around him. She wanted a hug. Which wasn't all that new but she wanted a hug from him. Just him. "I don't need a personal chef. As long as I'm here with you I know I'll have an amazing time." she couldn't see her face but it was probably turning a bright red.

He focused on what Tallie was saying instead of letting his imagination run wild. "Yes, I know. I just saw you blushing and I think you realised that I had been staring.'' There. He said it. "I wouldn't trade being anywhere else than here with you.'' It was the truth. They weren't a couple but they had the perfect living accommodation. Even Brody loved it.

Lucas smiled softly when he was hugged. Pat of what he had just imagined was coming to pass. He wasted no time in wrapping his own arms around her to hug her close. "You should give me the chance to do something nice for you more often,'' he told her, his chin resting lightly atop her head. "I mean, you do so much for me and Brody already and I appreciated that... and you so much.''

"I'm sorry." she could control the blushing but she could hide it. The blonde woman's hands darted up to her cheeks to cover them. "I'm just...I'm just not used to you staring at me." It was true, she liked it but it was still true. "I really love having you an d Brody here." She wouldn't change that for the world.

Tallie let her head rest against his chest. "Can you just hold me?" That's what she wanted. "I know I do but, I do it because I love to help you two out." She wanted to add that she loves him but she was too nervous to do that. Talullah looked up at him. "Lucas?" just as she had said his name she was starting to get butterflies in her stomach.

Tallie shook her head. "No, it's okay, Lucas. I'm really happy you wanted to move in with me." it really was okay. "You don't have to apologize at all." her green eyes looked up at Lucas as he took her hands off of her cheeks. Then there were his words. "No, no, the dress is far more nicer looking than I am." it was true to here but then again ehr last relationship had crashed and burned and made her think like that.

"Thank you, Lucas." Talullah smiled and hugged him tightly, even though he probably couldn't feel the tight hug. "I know I am. I can't help being a Hufflepuff." she said with a smile. Gulp. It was her time to tell him, wasn't it? There's really no turning back now. They live in the same house so she couldn't run and hide from him forever and he was also holding her so she really couldn't leave. "I'm in love with you." She said it. She finally said it out loud and to Lucas. Now she was just worried about what he would say to her. Would he push her away? She didn't want to be pushed away.

He was happy too. So happy that Tallie had come up with the idea and that he'd agreed to do it even if he had taken a little while to make up his mind. And if she didn't want him to apologise, he won't. He loved doing what his best friend wanted if it made her happy. "I disagree. You make anything you wear beautiful.'' This was something- one of the things- that he always admired about her.

"I'm always going to be there for you, Tallie. I promise.'' Lucas smiled some more as he was hugged tightly. He couldn't help but breathe her scent in. "You're my Hufflepuff bestie.'' It was as though their minds were in sync. Lucas heard her words quite clearly but they didn't register quite fully. Not yet at least. "You are?'' he asked, his heart beats picking up. Surely Tallie could hear the drumming against his chest.
