{:The.Plot:}

A peace has settled for fifty years. Fifty years of calm and solace, of freedom from the darkness. The Light reings safely. No one fears the Dark, because thanks to Harry Potter, the darkness fell. His life sacrifice has lasted for fifty years. Because of said sacrifice, a darkness can't form for fifty years after his death.

It's going to end.

The students don't know it. Few realize it. Not many even expect it. The good has gone on so long, all have become accustomed, taken granted of it. Life is perfect and safe, how could it possibly be that a danger such that once reigned could be possible?

This is the life of the sixth year students. All they worry about right now is their upcoming N.E.W.T.S. in the next year, graduation, what they're doing with their life. Their lives importance is their best friends, their happiness, their love.

And it's all going to come crashing down on them.

{:The.Setting:}

Hogwarts, obviously. It's the beginning of the term, the evening of September 1, after the Opening Feast. Few students know of the Dark uprising forming. Most can't even fathom what a life was like in which one had anything to fear. Where Muggle Borns and Purebloods couldn't get along. How stupid!

And yet, slowly, things are happening. Those shifty Slytherins are up to something. Muttering darkly. Casting looks at the Muggle Borns, making snide, enigmatic comments. Slowly, a few students start to notice the subtle change and realize. The Darkness is trying to rise.

This is set fifty years after Harry defeated Voldemort, so there will be no cannon characters. All characters will be sixth years. The only remaining cannon character is History of Magic Professor Binns.

The Headmistress is named Professor Natiya (Nat-ee-ya) VaamWront.

Gryffindor Head: Herbology Professor Catherine Hollis
Slytherin Head: Defense Against Dark Arts Professor Lliam Knowling
Ravenclaw Head: Transfiguration Professor Xavier Calling
Hufflepuff Head: Charms Professor Melanie Basalph (buh-saw-ff)

{:The.Rules:}

1. First and foremost, follow the Knockturn Alley RP Rules. If you refuse to, I will have you kicked out of the RP.
2. No Mary-Sues. They are not enjoyable characters. What is a Mary-Sue? A perfect character; flawless. Not every girl is wanted, not every guy is devastatingly hot. Give them flaws, it's less annoying and it makes them more likable.
3. No supercharacters. Therefore, no powers. Sorry. But most people can't handle them and they wouldn't be too important here anyway. You're not invincible, you're not going to avoid every attack. But, likewise, don't control another's character. Leave it up to them whether or not something you do affects them.
4. Literacy is a must. if u typ3 lyk dis, then you can't join. You don't have to type novels, but try to keep it a few sentances at least. Describe things, don't just state stuff. And please, try to write as if this is a school paper. Astericks somewhat annoy me =)
5. If you join, stay. RPs suck if not everyone follows through.
6. When joining, post a profile. I will decide from your profile whether or not you're approve ^__^
7. To play one a child of the Dark Uprising, PM me. Your character must be a Pureblood and preferrably Slytherin. These are the only ones who at first know of the Dark Uprising as their parents are part of the group that is trying to bring it back.

As Saphire spoke about her parents, Eric leaned forward slightly, clapsing his hands together. "Oh, wow. That must be really hard." He said quietly, offering her a brief smile. The talk of her parents made him think about his own brother and how much he missed him. Shaking himself from his thoughts, he looked back at her. "An Auror? Well, that's definitely quite the challenging career." He commented as he leaned back into his chair.

"Me? Quidditch all the way." He replied, nodding his head towards the table that he had just abandoned. "I'm hoping to get an offer from a scout either this year or next year." Pausing, he gave a wry chuckle. "If for some reason it doesn't work out, I'm thinking of possibly working at St. Mungo's."

Jamie-Lee was so embaressed. She wanted to just disappear on the spot. She looked up at Mozzie who was first to her rescue and lended a hand for her to pull her up with. But, Nolan came to the scene and shifted Mozzie out of the way and Jamie-Lee withdrew her hand, "I am.. am..." am staring at your butt, her thoughts said. She shook her head and finished, "I'm fine."

Abigail looked back up at him, "Oh, fine I guess. What about you?" She bit her lip softly and looked at the other girl, "By the way, I've always thought being an auror would be an amazing job. But I'm going to be a photographer for the Daily Prophet." She gave a weak smile and tucked a strand of brown hair behind her ear.

Mozzie moved to Jamie-Lee's other side to help steady her, a hand resting on her arm. She tilted her head at Jamie-Lee before glancing curiously up at Nolan. She seemed fine now, after all. That had to be a relief.

"Nice fall you had, huh?" he asked, a grin forming on his face. "You sure you're alright?" he asked. The hand that she had withdrew wound up being held at the wrist by his own. He'd feel pretty bad if she fell again.

Jamie-Lee's eyes widened as she looked down at her held wrist and then up at the gorgeous, perfect, beautiful... SHUT UP JAMIE-LEE... boy. "Thankk... you," she smiled sheepishly. "Do you want to take me to the Hospital Wing? My leg... is sore." She turned to Mozzie, "Mozzie can look after... him," she indicated Frankie, the imbicile.

Glancing over at Jamie-Lee, Mozie raised one eyebrow, eyeing her in the careful, scruntinizing, IKNOWWHATYOURETHINKING manner that girls seemed to possess. The kind that bore into her and demanded "What in the world are you doing?!" Still, she didn't say anything on that, but nodded.

"Sounds like a good idea," she agreed. "After all, what if you got injured? Mr. Prefect Man Nolan can walk you all the way to the Nurse." Then, a coy grin passed as she met Jamie-Lee's eyes again, before turning to Frankie. Alone with Nolan?

Nolan though, was oblivious to the meanings of the weird looks Mozzie was conveying to Jamie-Lee and merely nodded. His free hand moved to rest at the low of Jamie-Lee's back to keep her steadied.

"That's a good idea," he too agreed. "The nurse will see if you're injured in any way. It'd suck if you were."

Short and blunt Nolan. Nice.

They turned the corner and she could not believe that his hands were on her, on Jamie-Lee. She wanted to scream, but controlled herself. "Nolan," Jamie-Lee stopped him and stopped her limping, "I lied. I'm not hurt. I just want away from Frankie... he is being a... well yeh." She walked over to the nearest wall and slid down it, taking a seat on the floor and beginning to make another pleat in her hair. Head down.

Calvin heard her sarcasism but he didn't say anything. "Alright," he said as she trotted off in a hurry. She was an interesting person and he knew that everytime he would talk with her, the talk would be just as interesting.

Jose was still trotting down the hallways, in search for the fountain of youth, or possibly just a regular old fountain, just as long as it was sprouting cold, fresh water it was all good for her. Usually when she walked there was a spring in her step but the trotting made the bouncing all the more noticeable, causing her curls to jump up and down uncontrollably, most of the time covering her face entirely unless she stopped periodically to shake her head ferociously, a smile on her pouty lips.

She was still trotting like a little new born horse when her curls suddenly obstructed her vision causing her to run into and nearly trample a poor Ravenclaw girl.

"Ayyyy," the wild-hair girl complained. "Perdón! My bad, chica. My hair was like all over the place. I feel like an Amazon sometimes but I'm not from Brazil you know. I don't even speak Portuguese."

Vince went out of Karasu Tsume, as he was now in the quiet common room. He looked at the window nearby, looking outside. His eyes were curious, as they moved left to right. He heard something and he immediately hid behind the couch. Noticing it was a glass that fell from something nearby, Vince went out of the common room, swiftly as ever.

He was now in the halls, his eyes closing. He ran to each side of the hall, left and right, trying to hide from other people. He sighed and drank a bottle of water he got from his jacket. Wondering why he didn't hear any noises, Vince currently saw a boy nearby. He walked backwards, and immediately almost trampled on a girl. "AH!!-..." Vince yelled, but immediately put his hand over his mouth. He looked at the sixth year girl, who had curly hair.

Nolan blinked at first, trying to grasp what Jamie-Lee just said. But.. she just fell down stairs. How could she not be hurt? And yet...?

"Oh... so... you just wanted to get away?" Of course, he was just repeating what she'd said but give him a break. He's a guy after all. After a moment, he finally said. "...why?"

It would be an understatement to say that Mozzie wasn't slightly shocked. She stumbled backwards as something plowed into her; a mass of trotting curls or something. Attack of the Freaky Hair Day!

Her rapidfire speech resulted in Mozzie nodding along slowly. Uh-huuuuuuh.

"Uh.. that's... alright... uh... chica?" she said, feeling utterly stupid. Or would that be el stupido?

"I think I'll go see what Nolan is doing." Fantasy propsed as she moved her legs off her brothers and got up off the bed.

Teleno sighed. Why was she such a boy crazed girl. He would ahve been much more happier if she was a bookworm or something. Something BUT being a boy crazy girl. He wasn't one to talk. He actaully was a... flirt. So he has no room to say anything.

He started laughing, Fantasy turned around and gave him a glare meaning, "If you try to mess this up for me I will wring your neck." She smiled at him and started skipping down the stairs.

She stopped skipping when she got down the stairs and into the common room. She started walking briskly and headed out of the common room and on deep search for the oh-so-cute Nolan. And there he was. But with another girl, and another one. One of them must be Mozzie, she thought. She smirked and ran over to them and saw one girl on the floor and Nolan trying to help her up.

She leaned against Nolan's back and wrapped her arms around his waist. SHe knew that her touch might scare him because he didn't know it was her, but she did it anyways. "What are you doing, Nolan dearie?"

"He is being a twirp and totally not taking my feelings into consideration," She began to rant, "It is so upsetting since he is one of my very few, few friends. I bet you didn't even know my name when you first bumped into us tonight. Yes, I am not very popular, I am quite the opposite. A dork. You wouldnt happen to be a guy to understand feelings would ya Nolan?" Jamie-Lee rambled. "Maybe. I don't think any guy is capable of such a thing," she twirled her hair in between her fingers. Jamie-Lee noticed another girl... Fantasy, not that pathetic excuse for a female. Jamie-Lee rolled her eyes and shut up with her ranting. She wasn't aware he had a girlfriend.

Vince's eyes were wide open. He had never thought he would get caught by someone. Noticing that the girl speaked Spanish, it would be a good time for Vince to practice some of his Spanish language. "Eh. ¡apesadumbrado!!! Era mi avería, pero te golpeé. Te golpeé, pero. Me golpeaste, pero te golpeé," Vince said. Ok, maybe he barely knew the language of Spanish, but he tried his best. He knew his words did not make sense to the sixth year girl.

Nolan jumped as a body pressed against him, arms wrapping around him. He knew it wasn't Mozzie; had it been she would have run and jumped and knocked him to the ground. He started, turning round and pulling back, stumbling for the wall.

"What the-- Fantasy?" He gaped, shocked, peeking through his dark hair. What the heck.

"I... I'm sorry bout this..." he said, turning to Jamie-Lee. She was trying to talk to him and he was being mauled by hormonal girls.

The girl was definetly coocoo bananas. Long past loco. She was on the verge of pyscho. Which Mozzie found intriguingly amazing.

"Well. If you don't speak English well. Or Portugese well. What do you speak, Wildfire?"

She couldn't help it. She found the girl amazingly crazy. In a most awesome way. Her speech and rapid fire words and her lack of comprehensiona and WHAT was she doing with that boy?

She got off him and started to rock on her heals, pleasure streaking on her features.

She. Was. Nuzzling him.

He jumped again, pulling away from the girl. Turning round he faced her, rocking on her heels.

"What are you...? And..." He turned now to Jamie-Lee. "You think she's... my...? No! No no nooooo!" He was flustered now, his dark hair swinging madly as he shifted around every which way.

"Good bye kiss?" he sputtered at Fantasy. "...WHAT?"

Sorry Fantasy, but we are busy," Jamie-Lee smiled and linked her arm with Nolan's. He smells real nice doesn't he? SHUT UP JAMIE-LEE.

Fantasy frowned. Oh how she wished that she was his. SHe sighed and looked up at the ceiling, imagining them getting married and having little swishy haired babies.

She smiled and replied abck to him, "Well I'm a human to start of-" She was interupted with a sudden flash of emotion come over her. Sadness.

She stopped rocking and looked down at her hands. "I'm sorry. Can we talk about this matter maybe a little lat-" She suddenly lost her balance and her knees locked, feet grew numb, and she fell agianst Nolan.

She fainted.

Josefina suddenly stood up straight and smiled broadly at the girl. This was definitely a good question and one she could answer with ease. Clearing her throat and shaking back her dark brown curls she raised a single brow.

"Español," she said softly and in a hoarse voice which she followed by a quick spin and a bow. "My name is Josefina De La Fuente but you, chica, may call me Jose. And it's huhseh by the way, not hoe say."

Jamie-Lee was startled as the girl fell on Nolan. What a pathetic attempt, "She is obviously faking Nolan," she pushing the girl to the floor. "Look, I will prove it too you," Jamie-Lee swung her leg back and then forward into a nice big kick to the 'fainted' girls leg. Who was she trying to kid? Seriously.

Vince gave a sigh, and looked again at the girl. Wondering who the girl was, and who the other girl was, he said, "Uh... ok." He drank a bottle of water, wondering how ever he could get caught. He continued his words by saying, "I'm Josh Vincent Botch, by the way, but please call me Vince." He never wanted to be called Josh. It was such a stupid name for him.
