{:The.Plot:}

A peace has settled for fifty years. Fifty years of calm and solace, of freedom from the darkness. The Light reings safely. No one fears the Dark, because thanks to Harry Potter, the darkness fell. His life sacrifice has lasted for fifty years. Because of said sacrifice, a darkness can't form for fifty years after his death.

It's going to end.

The students don't know it. Few realize it. Not many even expect it. The good has gone on so long, all have become accustomed, taken granted of it. Life is perfect and safe, how could it possibly be that a danger such that once reigned could be possible?

This is the life of the sixth year students. All they worry about right now is their upcoming N.E.W.T.S. in the next year, graduation, what they're doing with their life. Their lives importance is their best friends, their happiness, their love.

And it's all going to come crashing down on them.

{:The.Setting:}

Hogwarts, obviously. It's the beginning of the term, the evening of September 1, after the Opening Feast. Few students know of the Dark uprising forming. Most can't even fathom what a life was like in which one had anything to fear. Where Muggle Borns and Purebloods couldn't get along. How stupid!

And yet, slowly, things are happening. Those shifty Slytherins are up to something. Muttering darkly. Casting looks at the Muggle Borns, making snide, enigmatic comments. Slowly, a few students start to notice the subtle change and realize. The Darkness is trying to rise.

This is set fifty years after Harry defeated Voldemort, so there will be no cannon characters. All characters will be sixth years. The only remaining cannon character is History of Magic Professor Binns.

The Headmistress is named Professor Natiya (Nat-ee-ya) VaamWront.

Gryffindor Head: Herbology Professor Catherine Hollis
Slytherin Head: Defense Against Dark Arts Professor Lliam Knowling
Ravenclaw Head: Transfiguration Professor Xavier Calling
Hufflepuff Head: Charms Professor Melanie Basalph (buh-saw-ff)

{:The.Rules:}

1. First and foremost, follow the Knockturn Alley RP Rules. If you refuse to, I will have you kicked out of the RP.
2. No Mary-Sues. They are not enjoyable characters. What is a Mary-Sue? A perfect character; flawless. Not every girl is wanted, not every guy is devastatingly hot. Give them flaws, it's less annoying and it makes them more likable.
3. No supercharacters. Therefore, no powers. Sorry. But most people can't handle them and they wouldn't be too important here anyway. You're not invincible, you're not going to avoid every attack. But, likewise, don't control another's character. Leave it up to them whether or not something you do affects them.
4. Literacy is a must. if u typ3 lyk dis, then you can't join. You don't have to type novels, but try to keep it a few sentances at least. Describe things, don't just state stuff. And please, try to write as if this is a school paper. Astericks somewhat annoy me =)
5. If you join, stay. RPs suck if not everyone follows through.
6. When joining, post a profile. I will decide from your profile whether or not you're approve ^__^
7. To play one a child of the Dark Uprising, PM me. Your character must be a Pureblood and preferrably Slytherin. These are the only ones who at first know of the Dark Uprising as their parents are part of the group that is trying to bring it back.

"I dunno" mumbled Alex and looked at the floor. "I guess I'm not evil". THat was all he could come up wtih - and it was true. He didn't know what good he could do for THEM. If it wasn't for the Leventark he wouldn't even be involved.

Vince quickly standed in the night. He looked at his wand, as he tapped the hood of his jacket with his hand. He looked at it carefully, trying to find something. He looked at the ceiling and standed. He got out the key from his jacket and ran to the door behind the staircases. He put the key into the keyhole and quickly turned the knob.

He was in the dusty room again, as he saw the cobwebs, the spiders on it. He ran back outside the common room and found a bucket. He put some water in the bucket from his water bottle. Looking in the common room, he also found a mop and some cleaning supplies. He looked at the supplies, noticing they might work for cleaning the room.

He went inside the room again, getting one of the sponges and dipping water and soap in it. He slowly clean the tables, cleaning every part of it. There were some bugs on the table, but he quickly killed it and put it in the trash can he got in the common room. It was very hard, as there were some cobwebs nearby. His face started sweating, but he didn't care. Once he was finally done, he put the sponge away and got another one.

With the sponge he was holding on his hand, he cleaned the walls, scrubbing it hard, so the dirty and dusty things would get off. It was quite hard as he used much strength to clean the walls. He was finally done, but his whole body was sweating. He could just use magic, but he will never use magic for something that's not important. He got a non-magical broom and started to clean the floor.

There were disgusting things on the floor such as insect dung and other gross things. He got his bucket in front of his broom and he cleaned it once the things were stuck on the broom. He looked carefully at the floor, trying to make it all clean.

He was finally done, cleaning it, but he still had one more thing to do. He got out his gloves and put it on tightly. He killed each insects, spider, beetles, and even flies. His glove was dirty with dead bugs on it. He put the gloves in the trash can, not bothering to clean it.

There! Everything was squeaky clean. He didn't need to clean the couches or the chairs since it was already clean. He took the key and went out of the room, but stopped when he saw a sink. He ran to the sink and washed his face, and his arm, as it was full of dirt. He breathed heavily, and suddenly fell down. Luckily, the couch was the thing he fell on. He did not want to be loud since every classroom could hear him since there were vents that were linked to each classroom. He coughed for a bit and he started closing his eyes.

Calvin was tired of walking around. He decided it was time for him to meet people. He started walking the halls looking for someone to talk with. There was a whole bunch of groups but he didn't know which one to go talk to, so hopefully one of them would ask him to join.

Josefina was walking briskly down the hall. She wasn't in a hurry as some might think but this was her usual pace. Quick and with a slight bounce, as if she was always chipper and happy. Her long curly dark brown hair hide most of her face but you could still see her big brown eyes.

"You gotta have a better spot for me, or we'll have to redecorate" he said as he raised his eyebrows.Frankie stood up and walked around the place, it seemed small, But Frankie could work with this.

Frankie raised his eyebrow at Mozzie.She seemed to enjoy this convo between him and Jamie-Lee."Oh yeah, Jamie-Lee loves to read muggle-books" Frankie chuckled, "She wishes that'll happen to her one day" he said as he eyed her.

He chuckled to himself and then nodded. "Definitely sounds like a plan to me. It's kind of hard to believe that we're almost finished our journey here at Hogwarts. Jamie-Lee snatched the book from the girls hands and chucked it toward the other books, but before she could answer Frankie had already done it for her. "Nothing wrong with wanting some serious loving Frankie, instead of your popularity rubbish. You'll end up growing old and being a complete airhead! with no one!". Love. Touchy subject for poor Jamie-Lee. She has never had a boyfriend. She left the room, not happy one bit.

Calvin was just walking aimlessly, well he didn't think he was but soon enough he would be proved wrong. "Excuse me," he said when someone bumped into him. "O..Oye, Miko?Milo? Sorry don't speak...um... Whatever laungage that it." he said to her. He looked at her strangely because she was the one that bumped into him. "Ok, I will the next time I bump into somebody, which means the first time because you just bumped into me," he added to her staring at her blankly.

Jose's brow furrowed and her small nose wrinkled slightly. This guy was seriously confusing and seriously weird. Scratching her cheek, eyebrow high on her forehead she chuckled.

"Alright, whatevah you say nene," she said waving a hand in the air as if to discard the whole bumping incident. "Point is---who are you?"

Well, of course that wasn't the point but Josefina wasn't about to admit that she was the one who bumped into him. She wasn't that stupid.

It could be old or it could be new. It could even be normal." he added and looked at her wondering what her response would be to that.

Fantasy smiled and cocked her head to the side as she sauntered over towards the fire and plopped herself down on the rug in-front of it. She set Lies down in her lap and he started to lick her fingertips. She giggled and looked over at Nolan. She waved her hand to come over, her black plastic bracelets jumbling against her small wrist.

Saphire nodded. "I know it seems that about aminute ago we where first years then we blinked and now where in our th year." she replied sadly. Then she right away smiled hiding her sadness. "But Hogwarts has treated us right." she said and then thought for a while. "Well...to be honset I'm not completely sure I wanted to look and see if I can find out who my parents where...I'm still not sure if I'm a muggleborn, half and half or pure." she told him honestly. "I want to find out who my family was and well after that maybe study magical creatures or become an auror." she said while thinking. "And you?" she asked him her red hair becoming straight again. She tugged at her tie and waited for him to reply.

Josefina tilted her head curiously and pouted slightly. So, obviously, this boy was either multilingual or suffered multiple personalities. She scratched her neck nervously before approaching the boy for the third time.

"Calbeen," she repeated, struggling with the pronunciation. "Cowlbean? Calbeen," she finished glad to get as close to the truth as possible.

She took a step back and bowed slightly.

"Honor to meet you Calbeen. I'm Josefina but you can call me Jose," she instructed with her introduction. "And it's Huhseh not HoeSay."

"Oye, Fi no, Joe is fine, I suppose," she said clearly trying to get rid of her have Spanish accent. "Not like I have a choice, anyways, right?"

Josefina shoved the quill inside her curls once more and acted as if the disappearing act of such a large object in hair was a normal thing. Once again, the girl was completely oblivious to the boys' somewhat psychotic smile.

"Nice teeth. Que dientes bonitos! Do you like, bleach them and stuff my Mami does that a lot but then her teeth end up hurtin' real bad."

Calvin couldn't believe what he was hearing. Bleach his teeth? What did she think he was? Some person who liked their look to be gorgeous so everyone culd stare at them in awe. He actually could care less. "What nerve you have to tell me I bleach my teethe and that answer is no." he stated clearly so she could understand it. "My smile and color of my teeth are natural and true unlike your personality, Joe" he added and looked out the window.

Well, that proved it. The boy was just downright stupid. Fixing him with a stare she shoved the piece of parchment still in her hand in a secret pocket she had made into her school skirt. She'd had enough. Were all Slytherin's such snobs? All she asked was if he bleached his teeth. They were pretty! It was a compliment really and if he had taken long enough to pull his head out of his---Well, he would have noticed. Plus, did he really have to insult her personality? Low blow, amigo.

"Estúpido," she muttered and turned on her heels and stomped down the hall in search of a water fountain of sorts.
