Novel in the Works
"Lumos," Gilderoy muttered, holding his wand in front of him just enough so that he could see the scene going on in front of him. It was a very tricky process--he needed enough like to get an accurate memory of what was going on here, and it needed to be dim enough so that they didn't notice his presence.
He wasn't too worried about the wizard--it was the werewolf he was worried about.
He had been following them all day, taking notes like a madman whenever he had a spare moment. This part, though, would be sure to be the climax of his novel...the fight between man and beast. It was amazing, it was beautiful...it was bound to be a best seller!
He watched with interest as a spell was sent at the werewolf, throwing it backwards. He grinned to himself and made a mental note about the scene.
He could just see it now--wizards of all ages soaking up the thrilling story of how he...or, erm, this guy...defeated a werewolf and lived to tell the tale!
That was, assuming, that this bloke lived. Ah well, if he didn't--there were always rewrites.
