26. Morsmordre

S i c k e n i n g - F e e l i n g

Draco stared up at the the dark mark that hung in the starless night sky, he had never cast morsmordre before, and he never wanted to again. He had been sent on a "special mission" to the Granger's house with his aunt Bellatrix, and he never wanted to be sent again. He didn't even want to follow his aunt inside, to see what havoc she had wrecked in there. He quickly stepped away from the house and headed down the street, he was not leaving with Bellatrix, who would likely brag the whole way home of her new torture victims.

He pitied the Granger's somewhat, but not enough to stop Bellatrix on her tirade. It made him sick to think that he was related to a person like her, but he could not do anything about it, the Malfoy way, was to put family first. And as disgusting as it may have seemed to him, Bellatrix was still his kin. Draco thought he saw a glimmer of something and immediately pulled out his wand, he headed over towards the bushes where he saw movement, but saw nothing, after checking several times to make sure nothing was there, he left.

2. Avada Kedavra

S e c o n d - C h a n c e s
“ Come on, do it Malfoy, or are you to much of a coward?” He hissed at me angrily, yet there still seemed to be something in his eyes that resembled pity, my wand hand trembled and I prepared to perform the killing curse, Avada Kedavra, but it just didn't seem right. I closed my eyes, to escape from the image Dean Thomas on the ground covered in cuts and bruises. He was a stupid Gryffindor, a betrayer of the Dark Lord, and most possibly a Mudblood.” Say the two words, in case you forgot, they are Avada Kedavra.” He spat at me.

“ No.” I finally said, much to both of ours surprise.” You don't deserve this Thomas. Leave now before my aunt shows up, she won't give as much sympathy and mercy as I have, but don't ever expect this from me.” I finished in a snarl and he blinked again.

“ So this is the newest trick you have up your sleeve isn't it Malfoy.” He sneered, spitting once more at me.” Wait till my back is turned to slay me.

“ Just go, before I do use Avada Kedavra.” I finished, walking away from him..

20. Knitting Charm

“ What are you doing Granger?” He scoffed, the bushy-haired Gryffindor didn't even bother with looking up, knowing exactly who was talking to her.

“ Why does it matter to you?” She shot back, not looking up from her work.

“ Because for once, you, the infamous mudblood-bookworm, are not studying.” He explained crudely.

“ Shut up Malfoy.” She spoke sternly, finally putting the wool she was working with on her lap.” For your information, I am trying, without your help, to make clothing for the house-elves who work here, I'm trying to free them.”

“ And how are you doing that?” Draco asked, sitting across from her, crossing his arms and arching one of his eyebrows.

“ It's called a knitting charm, you insufferable prat.”

“ No, I wasn't talking about that mudblood, how do you plan on freeing them?”

“ By using the clothes, thick-head.”

“ They work here on their own free-will Granger.”

“ No they don't! Ever heard of peer-pressure?”

“ They do..”

“ DON'T!”

“ Calm down Hermione.”

“ Did you just call me..?” Hermione's mouth was opened in a perfect o shape.

“ Good-bye.” Draco stood up and walked off, leaving her there..

5. Colloportus

E m p t y - R o o m
I heard footsteps coming at a rather fast pace towards me, with out a warning I hissed the first spell that came to mind. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't the smartest one. I was now locked in the class room I had taken refuge in.

“ Hullo Draco.” A sudden voice made me jump, it was a girl, I believe.” You seem rather jumpy recently, maybe some nargles have taken refuge in your hair and set you off a bit.”

“ Er.. I should be leaving.” For the moment I forgot that I had cast colloportus on the door and my attempt at opening the door was a failure, obviously.

“ As I suspected, nargles, are you aright Draco?” She asked with natural curiosity, and I had no idea what her name even was.

“ Um. Do I know you?” I mumbled, confused.

“ I don't know, do you know me?” She should be named Confucius of the year, I sighed inside my mind.

“ No, I meant, what's your name?” I asked once again.

“ Oh, Luna. In case you were wondering, I know the counter-spell for colloportus.” She smiled warmly at me.

“ You could have mentioned that earlier..”

49. Wingardium Leviosa

S t r u g g l e s
Draco groaned angrily, his father would be extremely angry with him for struggling with such a simple spell.

“Wingardium Leviosa!” He tried again, but the wand tip only flickered slightly and the paper in front of him didn't budge a bit.

“What's wrong Drakikins?” Pansy Parkinson asked sitting across from him.

“Go away Parkinson, you stupid cow!” Draco growled, glaring at her.

Hurt, Pansy stood up and flounced off, and Draco watched her leave, not regretting what he had said.

“Surprise, surprise, you told your friend to leave, Drakikins.” Hermione mocked, appearing from behind a bookshelf.

“Ugh, Granger.” He scowled at her. “Go away, I don't want to see you.”

“I don't want to see you either, but this is a library Malfoy, students study here.” Hermione rolled her eyes.

“I know what this is, so go AWAY!” Draco yelled at her.

“Fine, have it your way Malfoy.” Hermione stopped at the doorway on her way out. “If you had been nicer I might have helped you with Wingardium Leviosa, to bad, you might even fail this year. Imagine that, Draco Malfoy, having to repeat his first year.”

33. Point Me

T h e B a c k - Y a r d
I looked around cautiously, the big field was completely empty, thankfully. I knew that it normally was, but it hadn't been all of this morning and most of the afternoon because of mother's strange party. I understand that she wanted to have a party for my fifteenth birthday, but honestly, she invited people I've never even heard of before. Sighing, I thought I heard a noise from behind, but I couldn't see anyone.

“Point me.” I muttered under my breath, and my wand spun around in my palm.

I often randomly did the spell in the field, just to see if the direction changed at all. And as usual, it hadn't, it still pointed north. I then heard the rustling once more.

“Why did you do that spell?” It was that girl from last year, what was she doing here?

“Why did I do what spell?” I asked, feigning stupidity.

“Are nargles attacking you once more?” Luna cocked her head to the side and gave me a strange look.

“I, nargles, what?” I mumbled confused. “What are you doing here?”

“I saw some wrackspurts.” She responded.

Yes, she was definitely crazy.

12. Furnunculus

D i v i d i n g
“What happened to you?” Theodore scoffed, glaring at the blonde.

“Absolutely NOTHING, I just happen to always have boils all over my face all the time.” Draco snapped angrily, as Theodore and Blaise snickered to themselves.

“Someone got hit with Furnunculus, gonna go write to your dearest daddy. Oh wait, he's in Azkaban.” Theodore laughed even harder, but stopped abruptly, seeing the ice cold look on Draco's face.

“If you ever insult my family again, Nott, I swear I will cast a permanent Furnunculus on your whole body for the rest of your life.” Draco hissed under his breath, and he raised one of his fists slightly.

“Oh, I'm really scared now, a permanent spell from you? Your grades are below that Gryffindor-Mudblood-Know-It-All-Granger.” Theodore Nott nearly collapsed to the ground from laughter.

“And neither are you, so shut up Nott.” Blaise finally spoke up, realizing that the other kid was taking this farther then he intended it to be.

“Thanks Blaise, but you didn't have to do that.” Draco muttered to the Italian as the other sixteen year old left, muttering darkly.

“He was acting way out of line.” Blaise just shrugged.

18. Incarcerous

F i r s t - F r i e n d
I let out a deep sigh of relief and then I heard a small squeaky noise from behind, spinning around, I whipped out my wand. “Incarcerous!” I hissed in the direction of the noise.

“Lemme go!” I heard a little voice yelp in fear. “Make the ropes go away, please Draco.”

Quickly, I undid the spell and walked over to the little blonde girl, staring up at me in terror. “What is it this time Astoria?”

“I just wanted to see if you were all right.” She murmured, glancing at her feet, her way of showing she was ashamed.

“What do you mean?” I cocked an eyebrow at her.

“After Granger punched you, I wanted-” Quickly I cut across her rambling.

“I'm quite fine.” My tone was cold, Astoria was now reminding me off the Mudblood's wretched deed.

“Why don't your friends care if you get hurt or not?” Leave it to the little girl to ask stupid questions.

“Astoria, I don't have any friends.” What did I just say?

“Can I be your friend then?” Her sweet little eyes looked up at me.

“I, what... Yes.”

38. Rictusempra

“Oi! Ferret!” Astoria called after him.

“Shut up will you?” Draco shot back angrily.

“No, I wanted to tell you something, now that we are alone.” Astoria was slightly breathless from running to catch up to Draco.

“I don't think I want you talking to me, now that we are alone.” Draco rolled his eyes at her, wondering why he agreed to be her friend a year ago.

“Seriously, it's really funny.” Astoria giggled slightly.

“SHUT UP ASTORIA!” Draco hated how she giggled, it was just like Daphne's, obnoxious.

“No, it is the funniest thing ever.” Astoria protested.

“Will you leave me alone afterwards?” Draco sighed, feeling as if he was giving in to something terrible.

“Gladly.” There was something behind that smirk...

“Fine, what's so funny then?” Draco snapped, impatient for her to leave.

“Rictusempra!” Astoria quickly cast then ran off.

“WAIT! GET-” Before Draco could finish he was doubled over in laughter from being tickled so much, stupid friends, and stupid, stupid enemies. For both the Rictusempra spell and the Ferret nickname.

48. Unbreakable Vow

“You... You did what?” I looked up at my mother in shock and surprise. “Why would you do such a stupid, idiotic thing? He is NOT to be trusted.” I slammed my fists onto the table and stood up angrily, but my mother did not budge an inch, most likely used to this type of behaviour.

“You sound just like Bella and your father.” She shot back icily. It stung to think that I was acting like two of the people I hated both, I was acting like them within the same night, same minute, even seconds.

“Mother, you should know better then to make an Unbreakable Vow with Severus Snape, of all people!” I threw my hands up in frustration, how could she do this to me? How could she not think that I was ready to do the Dark Lord's bidding, I was prepared for this, I wanted revenge.

“You should know better as well, I am in charge of the Manor now.” Narcissa's mouth thinned.

“I am in charge here, I am the man of the house now.” I spat at her. “Get out of this room, now.”

10. Engorgio

J u s t - F r i e n d s
“Draco, what is that spell that makes something bigger?” Astoria looked up at the older kid, who sighed, she had been asking him spell names all day long, and it was beginning to get on his nerve.

“Engorgio.” Draco didn't bother to ask why she wanted to know, it was probably for homework or something like that.

“There isn't a spell that makes things smaller is there?”

“There is.”

“Oh, does it not work on you?”

“Astoria... Are you trying to hex me?”

“No I was wondering of someone cast that on your ego.”

“Astoria, watch your tongue, before I curse it out of your moth.” Draco glowered at her, that stupid, obnoxious thirteen year old never failed to make him want to strangle her.

“Ooh, I'd like to see you try.” Astoria smirked at him, and then noticed the glint in his eye. “I mean, yes sir, shutting up, right now.”

“Good, remain that way, or else I'll cast an Engorgio on you, and then you can try and get it off, because I'm not telling you the counter spell.” Draco laid back onto the grass, relaxing.

31. Orchideous

T h e O n l y - E x c e p t i o n
“Draco, what are you doing here?” Luna looked up at me surprised, I jumped in shock, turning a faint pink, a Malfoy should never blush.

“I- uhh, n-nothing.” A Malfoy does not stutter.

“Oh, can I do nothing with you?” Luna asked calmly, and I stared at in her shock, a Malfoy never stares.

“Well, I.” I continued to stare at her stupidly, a Malfoy is never stupid.

She stared at me expectantly, and I just couldn't answer her question. A Malfoy always has an answer for a question, immediately.

“Sure.” I finally managed to say, and it felt like my throat was closing up on me slightly, and my stomach was alive with butterflies, a Malfoy never gets butterflies.

As she began to stare at the stars I quickly drew my wand behind my back, and whispered a spell. “Orchideous.” A Malfoy never, ever, makes flowers appear, with or without magic.

“I got these for you, Luna.” I handed her the blue bells, a Malfoy never gives a girl flowers.

“Why, thank you Draco.” She smiled faintly at me and then kissed my cheek, a Malfoy always gets the girl.

43. SpeRevelio

C h r i s t m a s - B r e a k
“Draco, come.” He hated when his mother called him like he was still a child, he was sixteen years old for goodness sakes. “Draco, no dawdling, come!”

“Yes mum.” Draco rolled his eyes and began to follow his mother, he could hardly wait to get away from her. Yes he loved her very much, but it was irritating how she wouldn't let him get more then three feet away.

Finally she had engaged in a conversation with some wrinkly woman, and Draco took that as his chance to escape. He ran to the first place he could think of, Knockturn Alley, and from there he entered Borgin and Burkes. After that he began to casually stroll through the aisles, looking at things, this was certainly a creative way to spend his winter break.

“SpeRevelio.” He heard a girl say, pointing her wand at a bracelet. By the sound of it nothing happened, and he began to make his way over to where the girl was. “Oh, hello Draco.”

“Luna, wait what?” He jumped in surprise. “Why are you here?”

“I'm jewellery browsing.” Luna flashed him a charming smile.

“Right...”

1. Accio

“Accio, accio, ACCIO!” Hermione groaned in frustration, she had been trying for days and the spell just wouldn't come, I knew that because she almost always practised in the library, where I was trying to study.

“Will you shut up Granger? Either you can do that spell, or you can't. You obviously can't.” I glowered at her, slamming my book onto the table, that stupid little mudblood.

“Malfoy, you shut up.” Hermione glowered angrily at me.

“I will, when you will mudblood.” I really was not in the mood for this.

“ACCIO!” I had no idea what she pointed her wand at, but next thing I knew something incredibly heavy hit me in the back of my head and then flew into her hands.

“What the hell Granger!” I clutched my head as I exploded at her.

“Never call me a mudblood Malfoy.” She smirked and then walked out leaving me there in pain.

First the punch, and now this. I officially hate Hermione Granger, it didn't help that I could hear Blaise snickering behind me.

“Shut your mouth Blaise, before I curse it closed.” I glowered at him.

32. Petrificus Totalus

“What are you doing?” Draco asked sharply, and Hermione looked up scathingly at him.

“I'm trying to read in peace, but now that you showed up, I'll have to find a place that doesn't reek of Ferrets.” Hermione snapped at him.

“Ouch, that really hurt, coming from a mudblood.” Draco rolled his eyes.

“Petrificus Totalus!” Hermione waved her wand and the next thing Draco knew, he was immobilized on the ground. “Don't test me Ferret face, or else I will stupefy you and leave you all alone in the cold.” She began to read again, much to Draco's discomfort. And he still couldn't move at all. Finally after she finished her book, she began to get up, and prepare to walk away. “Don't worry Malfoy, the effects will wear off within a minute, oh, and before I leave.” She walked back over to him. Dropping a quick kiss on his cheek she began to walk off. “That was for not even attempting to make a single sound when I read.”

“What the bloody hell.” Draco muttered to himself as soon as he could, Hermione was completely bonkers!

37. Relashio

F r i e n d l y - B a n t e r
“Draco, I have the most brilliant idea.” Astoria's usual brilliant ideas weren't all that brilliant.

“What is it Tori?” I snapped at her, and she looked slightly taken aback.

“I was thinking of using Relashio on your hair.” She flashed me a cheeky grin.

“Over my dead body.” Was this girl completely insane?

“That can be arranged Draco.” Astoria continued to grin at me.

“Astoria Katherine Greengrass if you even dare raise your wand against me, I swear I will hex you into next week.” I snapped angrily.

“That would be a funny sight, but how could you survive a week without me?” She laughed a little bit.

“Easily,” I rolled my eyes at her.

“Your not supposed to say that to your friends Drake.” Astoria sobered up slightly.

“First, I would be lying if I said it would be hard and second, don't ever call me Drake again.”

“I just might slip a note to Potter letting him now that he should use Relashio on your hair.”

“If you even think of doing that.” I glared darkly at her.

“I was just kidding Malfoy, jeez, relax...”

11. Expecto Patronum

F o r g i v e n
They were calling his name, and they wouldn't stop, they kept calling him. He shot up like an arrow, looking around, he was still in the boys dormitories, he wasn't in a big empty white room, splashing cold water over his face, Draco hated the fact that he had to repeat his seventh year, he was eighteen now, he shouldn't be doing this. He quickly left the dormitories and went to the Room of Requirement, he then proceeded to pull forth his happiest memory.

“Expecto Patronum,” he whispered, and a silver rabbit burst forth from the tip of his wand, he smiled faintly, in the most un-Malfoy way.

Seeing his patronus always cheered him up. But it also reminded him of the girl he loved, they were so close, yet still so far. They were both at Hogwarts, but she was just in the Ravenclaw dormitories. And after everything that happened at Malfoy Manor in the previous year, she would never forgive him.

“Draco, isn't it late?” He jumped in surprise and immediately the silver rabbit disappeared.

“L-Luna?” He gulped slightly. “I-I'm so sorry.”

“It's all right Draco, I forgive you.”
