25. Sorting Hat

Nervousness is starting to fill you up as one by one your fellow newbies are called in front and they take their own turns in the sorting. Then your name is called and you slowly walk towards that stall right infront of the whole school and everybody’s eyes were on you.

Your heart started to pound faster as the hundred year old sorting hat was placed and started saying things. You anxiously stare back at them and you brush your forehead for you were perspiring. Even your hands trembled.

You heard the hat shout, Gryffindor and you felt a relief.

Frustration

10. Arithmancy

She’s having a hard time doing this entire math for their lesson Arithmancy. They are dealing with life path numbers. It just needs a simple math but she didn’t really like it. She scribbled numbers on her note and then continued to do so. She also continued to scratch what she wrote. This is hopeless. It’s just confusing her more and more. She really needed help with this one.

Glad that Astrid was there to guide her. She would have left the class if not for her.

She just thought that wizards don’t have to deal with math anymore. Sigh.

Natural Beauty

64. Nap

She looked over the Gryffindor window and enjoyed the scenery. Ah what a lovely day to spend outside the castle. Vivianne couldn’t help but adore nature as the trees and flowers began to bloom. The moment now brings the blowing wind of spring. The bouncy brunette made her way then towards the lake and decided to sit underneath a tree.

Enjoying the lovely ambiance of the season, she felt dreamy. She just felt like taking a nap there since it’s silent and the smell of freshness lingers around. Wouldn’t it be just so nice to enjoy the rebirth of nature?

Cid the Little Imp

82. Careful

She went down to the Nursery to check for her pet Cid. It was an Imp. The first time she had seen it she got a little bit of shock and didn’t even want to go near it. But she grew fond of the eight inch creature. She played all day with Cid at the play area created beside the nursery until her pet felt tiredness and fell asleep. Vivianne carried Cid all the way back to the nursery, careful enough so as not to wake it. She smiled as Cid cuddled its slapstick. Hush! Sleep well Cid, she whispered.

Walnut Magical Stick

19. Wand

Vivianne nervously stepped inside Ollivanders- the wand shop in Diagon Alley. She had no idea about these stuffs. She watched the wand makers assist her fellow students. There’s a tape measure there and it automatically did its job. She was so engrossed with it and she didn’t notice that it’s already her time.

“Right handed?” the assistant asked and she nodded. Again the tape measure was there doing all the measuring. The man went to get a box, opened it and gave her the wand.

“Black walnut with a Hippogriff feather core.“

She gave it a flick and BOOM. SPARKS.

Baby Creature-Sitter

7. Care of Magical Creatures

Professor Morgan was currently discussing about their school project until the end of the term. Vivianne sat there and listened to her favourite teacher. Not because she was the head of the Gryffindor house but she just liked her. According to their Professor they are to have one baby creature and take care of it until the end of term. Vivianne was assigned an Imp. And before she could even see it in person, she had done a bit of light reading after that class.

They always carry with them their slapstick. Poke! Poke! Poke!

Guess it would be fun.

Date with a Snowman

20. Hogsmeade

It’s the first weekend of her fourth year. That meant its Hogsmeade weekend. Vivianne thought it would be nice to spend it with those whom she was really close too, however today she was all alone. She just busied herself in creating a snowman. “At least I have you, to spend time with,” she told the snowman as she placed a twig as its hands.

When snowballs came flying from nowhere.

Awww! Who could that be?

She turned around and shouted “Show yourself.”

Then another snowball hit her head and a blonde appeared.

“Spenceeeer!” Vivianne squealed. “You knew it hurt.”

Speedy trip

47. Portkey

They are going to spend a little camping trip for the weekend somewhere near the Amazon. That would just be one exciting family bonding. “But how are we gonna get there?” Vivianne asked her sister.

“Portkey,” Natalia smiled with a small wink at her baby sister.

She heard that before and experiences of others made it sound more exciting and incredible. They walked over past a hill then reached a clearing. “C’mon guys,” Natalia called as she came to a halt. They all touched the thing.
Minutes after and touchdown.

“Whooo!” She waggled her brunette minor locks. “That’s really breezy.”

Bunny Slippers or Pumpkin Carriage

3. Transfiguration

They were supposed to bring something else into class. Their Transfiguration’s Professor particularly told them to bring something handy so via just decided to bring her bunny slippers. She wanted to turn them into real live bunnies. Why doesn’t she just go buy some?

As she looked around the class, she saw one of her classmates bring out from her bag a pumpkin. She laughed at the sight of it. “What are you gonna do with that? Turn it into Cinderella’s carriage?” she asked as she giggled, not meaning to embarrass anyone. She forgot they could have that, couldn’t they?

30. Feast

Prettiful! She stared at the bewitched ceiling of the castle.

It’s the start of Term banquet. It is definitely one of those moments Vivianne loved because it means new beginnings and time to meet new friends. This is her fifth year at Hogwarts and she’s going to be so much busy this term. Probably she wouldn’t even be able to eat all of the food she wants to because she has to study this term for her Ordinary Wizarding Level. So she really has to enjoy the feast.

The Headmaster finished his speech which signaled the start. Dig in guys.

I am Magical

9. Defense against the Dark Arts

Vivianne, who just found out she will be sent into a magic school and not just at some regular school in England, felt excited about it. They went to buy her school things earlier this day and she couldn’t help herself in browsing her books. She’s currently reading her Defense against the Dark Arts book and she felt weirder than ever. She remembered it was all real, she thought for a while that she was just reading some sort of fiction book. Via’s still having a hard time grasping the idea that she has magical powers and she’s not normal.

Hidden truth

59. Ignore

She had always been in love with him but never did she tell him about it. She ignored the feelings she had inside, for she knew they were not right. The man she loved was in love with someone else, and what hurts the most is to know that, that someone is a friend. Vivianne tried to paint a smile on her face every single day especially when she sees them together, however she could not deny it to herself that she was hurting and she could not just ignore that feeling.
She took a deep breath and again smiled.

Burning bright
5. Astronomy

“Is this real?” Vivianne asked no one in particular as she stared above and the sun shone so bright, she protected her eyes with her hands. It is noon and Astronomy class is going on. This class is meant to be held at night and not when the sun is up and could burn up their eyes.

“Could this be any weirder?” she again whispered to her seatmate. What next are they going to have? They’ve got a new Professor and now he had arranged different class schedule. It’s definitely not cool. How are they to study the other stars?

4. Ancient Runes

You would never believe I made it. I never thought I’d be great in Ancient Runes, Nat. I just felt so happy when Professor Lupa told me that I have a future in Runes during our final exam. It was pure luck, I guess or I should say I already love the subject. Same way I love you my darling sister. I miss you and I could not wait to see you over the summer.

Vivianne rolled the letter and tied a red and gold ribbon on it. Now she has to drag herself up the owlery to send it.

14. Hogwarts, a History

“That was really funny,” Vivianne burst into a laugh as she joked at Daisy about her hero. She couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of someone saving her dear best friend because he thought Daisy might catch some weird disease due to cat pee at the sandbox. She could recall her being hysterical because the boy was really annoying and Vivianne thought that maybe someone is just in love with her best friend. Who wouldn’t love her anyway?

If only, that funny experience Vivianne and Daisy had at the sandbox could be included in Hogwarts, a History book. Classic.

The Lion Lost its Roar

68. Roar

She stared at the house points by the entrance hall of the castle and what she saw didn’t light up her mood. Gryffindor’s in last place and Vivianne felt bad about it. She hadn’t been doing her proper job as a Lion. Maybe they needed a little roar from their Head of house and Prefects. She wouldn’t like that though. She just felt stressed and depressed for the past weeks and not being able to talk to anyone is making the situation worse.

She sighed and sat there alone as she watched students pass by. What is wrong? She thought.

One Lazy Stargazer

100. Homework

She lied on her four poster bed that night and stared at the ceiling. What are other ten professions better than a Lazy stargazer? She asked herself. Viviane didn’t think that being a stargazer makes you a lazy one because she is one of those people who loved to gaze at the stars wherever she went. She read what was written so far and still she wasn’t satisfied so she crumpled the parchment and threw it into her thrash. When their Professor gave it as homework she contemplated she’d nail it however she’s the one being nailed by it now.

97. Dictionary

She’s just a first year and the Hogwarts library was very big she had no idea where to start searching for things. It might take her, her whole life to be browsing all the books here and she would never be able to finish her homework. Then it got her, as she saw the reception desk. “Of course,” she said smiling at the thought of help.

“Excuse me, Ma’am” Via asked the librarian, “Where can I happen to find a dictionary?”

“Third column on the left, row ten,” the nice lady smiled.

“Thank you,” the brunette bounced back to searching.

“Was there a Yule ball during your time, Natalia?” Vivianne asked.

Natalia’s eyes darted at her with a smile, “Yes, there was.”

“Did the guy you ever liked asked you to dance during that night?”

Natalia nodded yet giving her sister the scrutinizing accent. “Why are you asking me about this?”

“Of course,” Via answered, “I just ought to know what happened to my lovely sister back when she was a student like me.” She grinned.

“Oh, you’re just envious probably because the guy you liked never did that.”

“At least you didn’t end up together,” with a devilish laugh.

Charmed Charms
12. Charms

Miss Brunette wanderer is having a hard time dealing with her home works now that she moved on to her third year. She used to love working on them.

That was so then when she still had her group of friends around her.
Astrid, Allie, Usa and others. But then some of them just disappeared and some she barely sees.

“Guess, nothing else to do but to use my charms,” she muttered as she got up from her sitting and headed to her Charms class.

Oh! How she wished she’d do great and not make a mess of herself.

39. Duel

She crossed her arms over her chest and patiently waited for the next instruction of their DADA Professor. Viviane was whistling when she heard her name being called out.

“Miss Nat,” the hall echoed.

She looked around her astounded and slowly raised her hand.

“Professor?” She moved forward to the open space at the middle of the circle of students.

“Good,” her Professor acknowledged while beaming at her.

Vivianne who was fidgeting suddenly froze when she heard those words.

“You are to try to disarm each other.”

As long as it would not involve getting my hair in tangles.

A Profitable Boredom Thought
44. Ford Anglia

“Whatever happened to the flying Ford Anglia,” she questioned suddenly when she was sitting by the fireplace.

Vivianne wondered if back in the old days, the great Harry Potter or Ron Weasley ever got it back. Maybe they got it fixed and they found it really useful. For business minded people, they could use it for profit. Like in Muggle Carnivals, where a ride would pick passengers and tour them around the Forbidden Forest. Of course that is if a visit there would be allowed -it would become a Theme Park.

Then her stomach rumbled.

This is what boredom does.

Some Bloody Meeting with an Insult
73. Warn

Geeesh, I’ve warned you about the Bloody Baron, she scolded herself.

She just received some bloody insult from the Baron. She didn’t thought it would be that bad to meet the Hogwarts ghosts especially one that is somehow being feared due to the thought of being covered in blood.

She wouldn’t take another step to talk to that ghost again.

Yet, it’s a quite interesting experience to be able to personally talk to them after hundreds of years of hiding behind the walls of the castle. She’s just one of those lucky few who had the courage to do so.

94. Allergic

Ha Ha Ha-choooo!

Vivianne sneezed. She hated this feeling. She’s sure a cold is on the way.

“Are you sure you’re not allergic to some cat pee?” Daisy laughed.

“Are you joking?” Vivianne sniggered but then she sneezed again. Hachoo!

Once in a while she suffers from that blasted thing and she’d need a real good rest to treat it. Maybe she should consult the infirmary as early as now to prevent it.

“This is bad,” she said as she pulled some wipes.

“That is definitely not good,” one said shaking their head.

83. Fearful

“Aren’t you bored working on your Herbology thing, Daisy?”

Daisy raised an eyebrow at her best friend. “Maybe you should come with me next time so you could prove yourself wrong about boredom on what I do,” the other brunette retorted.

“Oh no! No! No!” Via flailed her hands.

She was fearful of those slimy thingies which dear Daisy seemed to love.

“I think I might have something else to do in Astronomy,” she added. “For extra credits, of course,” Via grinned with a nod.

Merlin’s sake! I am not going to touch those, I might faint, she just shuddered.
