Haiii, Amy here! The inspiration for this fic comes from Ashizzle [Hermione_Loves_Ron] as she is the ultimate trend setter  After a year of RPing Cora, I decided that people needed to see the real her  So here is a FF which is kind of like a diary, I guess. It will be a record of her thoughts and feelings, and will allow the real Cora-Blue Latiffa to be revealed  April 1st:
1:12pm. Woopee. April Fool's Day. I can only wait for the tricks to start, most of which aimed at me. I don't understand the actual point in today. I've already had my robes charmed so that I can't get my arms through the sleeves. Aaargh!
Oh, and to make matters worse [yet slightly more amusing], I believe that there is something going on between Cass Cass and Christian! Bahahaha. I even managed a sneaky eyebrow wiggle at them earlier. Things like that do tend to brighten my mood. A bit. Except seeing people together is just a constant reminder of how incredibly ALONE I am. I mean, even first years are all lovey dovey. Pfft.
Although we have had a break through with the missing studentsies and what not. Turns out some gross black clam juice will help them. Strange, but that's magic for you. 1:34pm. Oh ha ha. I just went to have lunch. I only realised AFTER I'd taken a bite, that some idiot transfigured old socks to look like delicious chicken wings. Bleurgh. CLAP CLAP to whoever did it. Seriously, I bet there will be someone in Hogwarts who'll find it absolutely hilarious and give him a medal. And yes, I am being sarcastic. [Sense the tone.] 1:36pm. I do believe that the taste of sweaty socks will be with me forever.

UPDATE! April 2nd:
10:25am. It's actually unbelievable how unfunny my situation is. People have been avoiding me. It's not MY fault I now smell of socks. Boohoo! I can only imagine what Jamie would say if he were here. I expect he'd run a mile, and never look back. Then again, it wasn't as though we were the best of friends. Unless you count me stalking him as 'friends'. Oh noooo! I thought of him again! Jamie He is a subject that is strictly banned from my thoughts. Anytime his curly little head pops up behind my eyelids, I have to put my foot down. 10:26am. It is terribly hard to not think about him though... April 3rd:
4:13pm. HUZZAH! My problem has been solved. It's amazing what little treats you can find in Honeydukes, and I managed to pick up some peppermints that have cured my sock smell. Although they are rather strong, and blew my head off. I went a bit red when I swallowed the first one, and I think I might have screamed. But it's not like it really matters. At least I don't smell anymore (: 4:15pm. Merlin's spotty pink underpants! Ever since yesterday Jamie has been haunting me. I stared at the letter he sent me for about an hour an a half yesterday. I probably know it off by heart now. I think I disturb some of the people in my dormitory a bit. Then again, I sort of disturb everyone. Except Marco, cause he's just as weird as me. 4:16pm. Hahahaa, I just remembered. In Transfiguration, we were using the spell 'portanis', which changes clothes. Marco's spell went a bit wrong, and he ended up half naked. Professor Pierce almost had a fit, but I think she liked it really. Actually, I shouldn't laugh at Denver, as I was just as bad. Somehow I managed to end up in a pink tutu, which as you can imagine was fairly embarassing. Will the humiliation ever stop? April 4th:
3:55pm. Hmm. I fear that Professor Lainey has finally gone coo-coo. There was this super exciting meeting in the broom cupboard on the fifth floor [interesting venue, I know.] Professor Branxton was helping us brew up this potion that is supposed to change studentsies back to normal. There we were, crushing beetles's eyes and what have you, when Lainey starts to prance around kissing us all. EEP!
Oh I almost forgot! I sat next to Jack Langely in Transfig. He really does have the most lovely hair. I might ask it out on a date. His hair, not him. No don't be silly, I do NOT like Jack Langley. Gwenny Gwen Gwen and Emma were giving me funny looks. How terrible.

It's almost as though his hair is calling to me. And his name has oddly popped up three times in the last two hours. It's fate. I'm meant to be with his hair. MEANT TO BE WITH HIS HAIR. 8:53pm. His name just popped up again. In my book. The character was called JACK :o

8:15am. It was actually quite shocking to wake up this morning and see the sun. It's almost as though that shiny thing had gone on holiday for a while. But it's back now. I seriously doubt how long it will stay sunny. And even though the sun is out, it's still absolutely FREEZING out. I stuck my head out of the window to feel the sun on my face, but all I got was a gust a wind and a cold. Pfft. How unfair. I didn't even bother dressing warm, because I am SO determined that it will get hotter throughout the day. IT WIIIILL! 10:35am. How is it possibly fair that I have both Jamie AND Jack's hair in my head? Life was hard enough just thinking of Jamie, but Jack's managed to poke his little head into the picture now. Silly boys. Will they never learn to not be so utterly adorable? Even though the day is bright, it's raining in my life. Per usual. Wow, I've never been that poetical like...EVER. Tehee. 1:45pm. Could lunch be anymore gross? I highly doubt it. 9:05pm. Yawwwwwn. I've been stretching all over for the Common Room, and still...God has yet to enlighten me on my situation. I've decided that rather than moping about, waiting for the miracle of all miracles to be thrust upon me, I may as well get a good night's sleep. So here is Cora-Blue Latiffa, signing off for the night. To be perfectly honest, my pillow has never felt more comfortable. 11:55pm. Yeah, so much for good night's sleep. Stupid OWL outside my window *throws rock at it.* GAH. Seriously. This is the only night for about four months that I've actually made an effort to go to bed early, and it's RUINED by an annoying owl that refuses to close its beak. I may have to get out my secret supply of dungbombs and start pelting it with stuff. Now that's what I call a plan and a half. I do believe this is an appropriate time for the 'evil plan laugh': BWAHAHAHAHA! April 8th:
5:10am. That is possibly the worst and most uncomfortable night's sleep I have ever had. ANYONE has ever had. Ever. My headache decided to resurface, but about ten times more painful. Have I done something to anger fate or something? Or perhaps I am just the most unlucky person alive. One of the two. But anyway...besides my headache, I managed to fall out of bed. Twice. How I am still unsure. My clumsiness remains a complete mystery to me and most of the human kind. I may have broken my behind. It is incredibly tender. 2:30pm. I thought I'd go for a bit of a wander today. Y'know, go somewhere I hadn't really explored very much of. The only place I could think of that wasn't crawling with firsties, was the Veggie Patch. Yes, yes, there was the occasional firstie running around looking for their long, lost lover or what not, but generally, it was quieter. It was quieter than the lake, that's for sure. So there I was, shuffling about on a particularly large and slippery pumpkin when BAM. There he was. Strolling along like he had a perfectly perfect life. Which he probably does, thinking about it. Jack's hair! And Jack...obviously. He stopped and looked at me, as though he wasn't QUIIIIITE sure that I was the person he was thinking of. I smiled, and he smiled back. Maybe that reassured him. Maybe not.
But then...Jack put his hand in the air. It wasn't like a wave, just sort of a salute-type-thingy. I did the same, but I think we may have looked just a tad weird. Once he was sure it was me, he came over. Yes, OMGGGG I know. Hehehehe. And then we just sort of...chatted. Like we were friends or something. But MAAAN, it was just oh so cold. And then do you know what? HE GAVE ME HIS JUMPER. Jack Langley gave me his JUMPER. His scent is a thousand million trillion times better than a field of roses. I swear I almsot fell of the pumpkin. Actually, I did. But that's a story for another time. 2:35pm. Dash. Double dash and NUUUUU. My sources tell me that Jack likes some mean old GIRL. I bet she's ugly. Or fat. It's not faaaair. Who is this Bella Coulter person? I must begin to stalk her and find out more about her. If she's nice, I may just hit her. I can't stand it when the person you are supposed to hate is nice. Hmph. I may just crawl into a hole now.
