Chapter 10
I sat in Madam Puddifoot's waiting for Cho. I looked at my muggle watch and saw that she was late. What was taking her so long?
"Hello what can I help you with?" The waitress asked.
"Oh can I get two butterbeers?" I said.
"Why two hun? Unless you're getting me one." The waitress said twirling a piece of her hair around.
*ring* *ring*
"Hello Harry! Sorry I'm late!" Cho said running up and sitting down in the booth.
"Oh never mind. I'll get it to you right away." The waitress said scowling at Cho.
Cho wrinkled her brow in confusion and asked, "What was that all about?"
"Oh nothing to worry about love." I said taking her hand in mine across the table.
She smiled and said, "So have you seen the new girl? I heard she's nice but she hangs out with Zabini and Malfoy."
"Oh, yeah she is very nice." I said looking down, nodding.
"Oh, erm, okay." Cho said in confusion.

I looked around Hogsmeade and found none of my friends. They were probably still home since everybody comes tonight. I mean school doesn't start until tomorrow. I was close to Hog's Head so I walked into the old pub. It smelled of butterbeer and firewhiskey mixed together. I looked around the rotten place and saw Dean. He waved to me and I walked over to him.
"Hey Ginny, why don't you sit?" Dean asked waving his hand to the seat next to him.
I smiled and sat down. "So how are you Dean?"
"Oh I'm pretty good. I'm better now ever since Parvati and I broke up. She's been starting to act like Lavender and it's getting very annoying." He said chuckling.
"Haha, so how'd you get here so early?" I asked.
"Oh my dad has to go to Romania to help a few of the dragons there. So he had to drop me off early so he could go." Dean said taking a sip of his butterbeer.
"That's cool. I wonder if he'll be able to work with my brother Charlie." I said.
"Yeah maybe." He said. "So, erm, I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me?"
My breath hitched inside of my chest. I did like Harry but maybe if I went out with Dean it could make him jealous. Maybe, just maybe, but I could work, right?
I smiled and scooted closer to him. I bit my lip and pressed my lips to his. I broke apart before he could deepen the kiss and nodded my head.
"I would love to go out with you." I said smiling.
