Well, this is my third time trying to post this comment. Katie, if it double posts then just hve the double post police delete one. Thankfully this time I copied in case I need to paste. Hello Katie.

First off thank you for your three cheers. It humbles me for your gracious consideration to me. Thank you.

This is the second time I've written this comment, or rather a comment for this post. I don't know what happened to the first one. I even watched to make sure it posted, because just very recently I made a comment for a FF, and it didn't post.

Katie, I loved this little bit. It's so real, and just so cute. Albus was a bit grumpy, but Ted took care of him in style.
I wonder if maybe James went to meet Vic. I mean they was pretty close before Vic went all crazy with the Rob mess wasn't they? Buthe said he would be down after he read the letter.
Great post there Katie. I'll be watching for your next notice saying you posted. Happy Birthday to all three of you girls, Katie , Sophie , and Kerri . 15 right? A wonerful age! Enjoy it while you can.

Remember Christie McLaggen??

After two hours of waiting James still hadn’t returned. Ginny had insisted that he get his privacy but nobody could resist any longer. Harry decided to send out his patronus with a message.

James, we are all very worried. Come home soon.

James’ POV

‘I told you they would eventually be crying out for me,’ whispered James into Christie’s neck. They both chuckled and stared into each other’s eyes.

‘Did you know he wasn’t dead?’ Christie asked James, bracing herself for a long answer.

‘I had a feeling, turns out I’m psychic.’ This made Christie laugh. ‘I had to escape the house, get away from everybody. He just keeps repeating the story, it’s so graphic and horrible. So many people died...’

‘Shh... It’s alright. The good thing is that Ted didn’t die. Right?’ Said Christie reassuringly.

‘Yeah. The whole experience made me think about life in general. It’s too short, way too short. I have to ask you something Christie McLaggen. I have been saving up since Merlin existed so I hope you like it.’

‘Like what?’

‘This...’ Whispered James as he opened a square box to reveal a small silver ring with a diamond set in the middle.

‘James...this is really unexpected. I don’t know what to say...’

‘How about yes?’

‘Yes! Yes! Yes, a million times yes!’ She was beaming, absolutely delighted.
James slipped the ring onto her ring-finger on her left hand and she stared in awe at it. Her eyes sparkled, reflecting the beautiful diamond. Her hands shook, after all this was a huge step. Her smile widened and she looked into her fiancee’s eyes. He was her’s and nobody could take him away from her.

‘I’m going to be a Potter. I won’t be a McLaggen anymore.’

‘So are you sure it’s a yes?’

‘James! That is so typical of you. I am ecstatic! Over the moon!’

‘Good good, come here...’ whispered James to his new fiancée.

James kissed Christie with a passion he had never shown before. This was a new love, a whole different scale now. He more than cared for her, she wasn’t a school love anymore. She was soon to be a love for life.

My 51st post, one of the very very last!!!!!

Ted walked up the stairs, thinking about James the whole time. Albus and Lily were downstairs in the kitchen play fighting, making quite a racket. Ginny was napping on the couch with Evie sleeping next to her and Harry was away a walk to ‘clear his mind’, as he had said.

Teddy knew the letter had to be read at some point so he went up to his room and picked it up from the bed. The envelope was a crisp parchment and the writing was Fleur’s tight, font. Ted opened the envelope to reveal screeds and screeds of writing on parchment. As he swept his eyes over the words his mind wasn’t registering anything. The words hit him like a bludger to the head; he got a shock because of what his wife had done.

Teddy,
I wanted to let you know that your wife has done something I am appalled with. She called Robert Fiddle and is now at his house. I know you said you were finished for now but she needs to see sense, she needs you. She has needed you for a long time and when you turned up she went upside down – worse than I had ever imagined. You must help her; if it helps it doesn’t need to be for her but for your children. They need a stable mother, they need a family. Violet is here with me as I write this. You must help Victoire - I don’t know what he will do after he has read that letter in Sweden. She told me what it said, she could be hurt. She needs saved, by you.
