Ok guys (again double post sorry) But i really think this story is going WAYYYY too slow, so this has a bit of a twist....and its pushing it forward a little
I hope you guys like, and please comment, i dont mind what you say, just that i get some comments...
Without further ado...Chapter 6

CHAPTER 6

The rain fell down, running down the castle windows like a race, creating pictures on the windows. The sky was full of clouds, creating a barrier where the sun couldn't get through, a dark place. The weather was like a dark mood, the students could feel it. This wasn't like any normal wet day, this was different.

Hermione sighed from her seat in Transfiguartion, they were suppose to be turning the small animals on there table into cups, non verbaly. She looked round the room,
she had managed come complete the task in ten minutes, not to the surprise of her fellow students. Harry's rat began to scurry along the table, towards the edge, lazely she lifted her wand,

"Acci Rat" It soared towards her, she caught it. Handing it back to Harry, she smiled,

"Thanks 'Mione" He said, taking it and placing in in front of him. The lesson dragged on, Hermione was glad the Gryffindor's weren't with the Slytherin's for this lesson. It had been weeks since her and Draco had talked, she had been glad to hear that he felt the same way about her. Although he had been really confused, he hadn't been mean to her forweeks. She actually liked not being called a Mudblood by him.

At the end of the lesson Hermione slung her heavy bag on her shoulder, making her way to the door. Harry in front of her, Ron behind. The halls were full with students making their way to the Great hall for lunch, the trio turned to follow the crowd. Someone caught Hermione's wrist, she turned to see Draco holding it.

"Come with me please" he said before letting go and walking off. She stared after him, thinking, Ron brought her back to Earth.

"Hermione, are you coming to lunch?" He asked,

"No, i have to go do something, i'll see you guys later" She looked at him once, his kind face, before walking away not waiting for a answer. She knew she'd have to answer to him later. However she'd deal with him later.

Hermione found Draco by a cupboard just round the corner from the Transfiguartion room. He was leaning against the wall, waiting, staring down at his shoes. Her footsteps on the stone floor sounded louder then normal in the quite corridor. She stopped in front of him, folding her arms.

"What do you want Draco?" She asked, trying to sound angry and annoyed, without success. He looked up at her.

"I wanted to try something, but first lets talk" He replyed, she looked confused.

"Granger you know all this is confusing. That we like each other, we should be together but we both know no one will like it.." He didn't get to finish

"Why do we have to tell anyone?" she looked at him, his blond hair and pale skin, "We could keep it a secret from everyone" She added, she wanted him to see that noone could keep them apart.

"You dont get it Hermione, we can't, we'll be found out. My father would kill me" He tryed to reason with her, but again she cut him off.

"I dont get it? No Draco you dont get it. I haven't been able to get you off my mind for weeks, the fact that we like each other, i mean really like each other. I don't care what people will think, just that we can be together" Her voice was rising to breaking point. She felt tears in her eyes.

Hermione hadn't noticed till then how much she loved him, she couldn't bare not being with him. She needed him. The tears began to fall as they said nothing, she whipped them away angerly

Was he ever going to talk?

She asked herself. She opened her mouth to talk, the silence too much for her.

"You said you wanted to try something" She whispered, he smiled weakly.

"Yes, this" He stood from the wall and walked forward, cupping her face in his hands, he bent his head. Their lips touched with the smallest of kisses, which began to lengthen with passion.

After a few minutes they broke apart, each breathing heavly, Draco looked down at her in his arms.

"Will you go out with me?" He asked, smiling

"Yes" Hermione replyed before kissing him again.

CHAPTER 7

I kissed Hermione Granger, I kissed Hermione Granger! He kept saying over and over again in his head. They had parted, and now each sat at there own house tables. He looked over as she flipped her brown hair over her shoulder. She looks so beautiful, he thought as he watched her. His cup halfway to his mouth, his mind went back to the kiss. He liked it.

His friends had looked at him strangly when he finally made it to the table, he had looked out of breath and slightly red in the face he didn't care. He was happy. They had agreed to meet up again that night, Hermione had her prefect duty's and so did he. But till then he had to go to the classes he thought rubbish and a waste of time.

The day flew past quickly, to his likeing, and before he knew it, it was time to meet up with Hermione. He walked down the quite corridor to where they had talked earlier that day. He leant against the wall for the second time that day, arms folded, looking down at his heels.

He didn't have to wait long before he heard her footsteps coming closer, till they stopped in front of him. Smiling he looked up and into her eyes, she smiled back. Unfolding his arms he placed them round her and pulled her closer, she gasped at the sudden movement,

"Sorry" He whispered, he kissed her again, he could feel her smiling under his lips.

They broke apart and staed in each other's arm's for a long time.

"This is going to be hard, but we'll get through it!" Hermione whispered into his ear. He looked at her. He just nodded, he was in heaven.

"Should we be doing our duty?" He asked her, after a long pause

She shrugged, "It can wait" Draco was taken aback, Hermione Granger say no to her duties

"Do i sense you changing Miss Granger" He said chuckling, she just smiled.

Just then they heard a door open and close close by, followed by footsteps coming ther way, and fast. Hermione looked at him in horror, they were going to get caught, with no exscape. He simple gabbed hold of her wrist, opening the cupboard behind him and shuving her in, to her displeasure.

Draco whirled round to face Ron coming towards him, anger on his face.

"What you doing here Malfoy" He snarled, stopping a few feet from him

"I happen to be a prefect Weasal, im allowed to be here"

Ron's eyes were like daggers as he stared at Draco.

"I doubt very much you were doing your duty, Ferret!"

"As a matter of fact i was! I was keeping people like you from walking after hours"

Ron whipped out his wand, Draco did they same. The tips of Ron's ears were turning bright red, a sure sigh he was really angry, Draco could tell. Draco opened his mouth to shout a spell when he heard more footsteps coming round the corner. Glaring at Ron he put his wand away, Ron did the same just as Mr Filch came round the corner, his cat not far behind him.

"Well well what do we have here?" he asked in his annoying voice as he stopped in front of them, "Students after hours, students after hours" He began to chant.

"Were Prefects" Draco told him sharply, turning his way

"Well do your duty!" Mr filch glared at him and walked away up the corridor and round the corner, Mrs Norris cast them one more look before following him.

"This isn't over Ferret"

Ron walked away, back the way he came and turned to corridor, his footsteps getting fainter as he walked away. Draco sighed with releaf, casting another look up and down the corridor her yanked the door of the cupboard open to let Hermione out.

"Im sorry about that" He told her, she smiled weakly

"Its ok, i think it's best if we call it a night, i'll see you soon" Not waiting for an answer Hermione quickly kissed him on the lips and ran after Ron. Draco watched her go, thinking, before her turned and walked the same way Mr Filch had gone.

CHAPTER 8

Hermione banged her goblet onto the table, her and Ron were having another fight, one of which Harry chose to ignore. This such fight was becoming a recent one between them.

"Ron what i do after hours is none of your buisness"

She told him for the up-tenth time in a forthnight. True be told she had yet met Draco in one of there many late night meeting's in the gorunds. Hermione looked round the hall, she could other students eating there Easter egg's early, as it was nearing that time of year again. It had been months since her and Draco became a couple, and she was thrilled they had kept it a secret fo so long.

"Why wont you tell me? It's a simply question, Even Harry wants to know" He looked at Harry for support.

He held up his hands, "Don't bring me into this!" He quickly said, to Ron's displeasure, and turned back to his thoughts filled with his certain someone.

Hermione had had enough, she grabbed her bag from the seat next to her and stood up, ready to leave. "I'll find out sometime Hermione" Ron shot at her from his plate of hardly touched food, something that was never seen. She turned to glare at him, "Why cant you leave me alone!" She shot back in a hiss. She was really angry.

"Im trying to save you from pain, im your best friend" He looked at her, not in anger, only the look of friendship. She saw a glimps of shine in his eye.

She stalked away, her bag bumping her side as she took each step towards her next class. Potions. She was early, leaning against the damp wall of the dungeon corridor, she prepared to wait for the rest of the class. Within minutes students began to filter towards her, forming two lines, one for the Gryffindor's, the other for the Slytherin's. Draco was at the head of his line, his few friends lining behind him. Pansy right behind him, she placed her hands round his waist, she hug herself to him.

"Draco, do you want to walk with me later?" She asked, in her annoying voice. Hermione saw, from her spot in the line, Draco looked down at her hands before plucking them off and moving away. She began to breath again, he didn't look at her so she moved her eyes to stare down the corridor. The talk and laughter was picking up all around her, she saw Ron, followed closely by Harry, walk towards him. He now looked angry, the tips of his ears red. Ron spoke to Harry in a low voice, something she couldn't here, but Harry could. Harry stared at him for a moment before turning and walking towards her, as Ron walked towards the back of the line. Harry cleared his throat as he stopped in front of her, looking at her straight he recited in a low voice. Whcih Draco could hear from his short distant away

"Ron-Ron was wondering if you wanted to go for a walk with him later. He's really sorry about earlier and well everything" he told her, looking at his feet.

She was confused, if that's what he wanted to know, then why was he angry? Hermione stared at Harry, she could see Draco out the corner of her eye, he had gone bone stiff, listening quitely. She could tell. She walked closer to Harry

"Why's he so angry then?" She whispered, wanting no one to hear.

"He caught Ginny with a new boyfriend" He whispered back, she could see the pain in hsi eyes. She wasn't stupid she knew he liked her, and Ginny did the same.

"Alright fine, but why didn't he tell me himself?" She asked, wanted to change the subject fast.

"He was afraid of what you would say. So will you?" He asked, looking up at her.

She smiled weakly, "I cant Harry, I-i have stuff to do"

He just shrugged and walked off to the back of the line, off to report to Ron. Her last line had been loud enough for Draco to hear, she could see his small smile aimed at her. Just then the dungeon door opened and Snape walked out, it suddenly went quite.

"In" he simply said, moving to let the students past. They all stalked in one by one. The Slytherin's with grins on their faces, the Gryffindor's with anger, frowns, anything by smiles on their faces.

"Everyone at the fron of the class, im pairing up!" Sanpe called from the door. People moaned as the stood in the semi-darkness.

"Right then," He then said when the door banged behind him, no one spoke, no one moved. "Malfoy,Granger. Potter,Goyle. Parkinson,Weasley," He began, "Crabbe,Thomas Finnigan,Smith..." He droaned on pairing everyone up, everyone he knew whould hate to be together.

Hermione's heart skipped a beat when she learned she was to pair up with Darco, she half smiled before stopping herself. She must not show pleasure in being his partner, instead she disgusted at the thought. She sat down on a stool, Draco followed soon after, nither looking at each other, or showing any signs of liking each other. The lesson dragged on.

CHAPTER 9

Draco put some pie into his mouth and chewed slowly, looking round the hall again. Crabbe, Goyle and Pansy were sat round him talking, it all seemed like background music to him. He had far more important things on his mind. They were satat dinner, having finished a days work. Or in Draco's case, a waste of time. His eyes searched the Gryffindor table, looking for a certain person he couldn't see. He was just about to give up looking for her when she walked
in with Harry, Ron and Ginny.

A small smile crept to his lips as he watched her walk towards there table. She flicked her long fizzy brown hair behind her shoulder as she sat down. She hadn't looked his way as she walked past the Slytherin table, the loudest and happiest table in the hall. 'i guess it was a good thing' he thought as he watched Ron, watching Hermione like a hawk, he didn't like it, the look he was giving her. He was prepared to sit there, thowing quick glances her way, while trying to make small talk with Crabbe and Goyle.

Draco even turned towards them and opened his mouth to speak, but a girl wearing Slytherin robes, with balck hair and an annoying laugh walked into the hall at just that moment. He knew she was searching for him, and he didn't want to talk to her.

"I'll see you later" He didn't give them an reason, he just slipped away. Hiding behind some giggling second years, who were heading out of the hall. One of them looked at him as they walked into the entrance hall, a girl with long brown curls bouncing round her shoulders. She also wore a Hufflepuff scarf. She stopped at the same time as Draco and continued to stare, her friends walking away not noticing her absence in there group.

Her stare annoyed him, "What?" He asked rudely. the girl gasped and ran after her long since gone friends. 'What was with the students into these days?' he asked himself as he jogged down the stone steps and into the grounds. The sun was setting low over the drak forest, its last rays of light shining through the gaps in the trees.

A lonely ball lay on the grass not far from the large brown doors. Draco strolled over and picked it up. He didn't recognise the design, or colour, but he wasn't stupid. He knew it was a muggle toy.

"Stupid mudbloods" he said quitely to himself, twirling the ball in his hands.

"What was that Draco?" Someone asked bhind him, he whipped round to face the smiling Hermione. His face broke into a smile, he dropped the ball and gathered her up in his arms. He twirled her round.

He wanted to kiss her then and there, and he wanted no one to disrupt them, he even prepared himself to steal the kiss when they both heard a noise. A noise close by them, ready to pound down the stone steps and into the grounds, a second noise joined the first. It was feet! They were going to be caught! Draco grabbed Hermione's hand and they both ran towards the Greenhouses, staying in the shadow where they wouldn't be seen. They both stood gasping for breath,

"have they gone?" Hermione whispered, trying to see into the darkness. Hopefully they went the wrong way, or even better given up! He thought, but said,

"I think so, we can finally be alone!" He smiled as he pulled her closer once more. There lips joined. 'We're Kissing' he thought, he felt like they were no longer in Hogwarts, but some distance land he used to read about when he was little.

A big gasp brought them back to earth. They jumped apart and turned to face Ron and Pansy, both were staring at them. Ron with anger, and Pansy in shock. Pansy had her hand over her mouth, it seemed to him that the gasp had come from her. He felt his cheeks go red, he couldn't believe they had been caught! But he also hated the people before him for disturbing him, could he ever get some peace!?

The tips of Ron's ears were a beatroot colour, he was shaking with anger. Ron withdrew his wand from his robes and pointed it at him.

"Hermione, how could you kiss this...this..." He was lost for words, but she got what he was saying anyway. Draco could see she had tears in her eyes, he moved towards her to comfort her,

"Dont move!" He called over to his, a few red sparks flew from the end of his wand,

"Or what?" Draco asked, digging into his robes and pulling out his wand, pointing it eaqually at Ron. Hermione niffed beside him.

"If you hadn't noticed Weaslebee me and Hermione love each other" He sneered, watching Ron ears grow even redder.

"Never!" Ron shouted "Stupefy" He shouted, red sparks flew out of his wand and towards Draco.

"Prontgo" Draco called, a shield formed in front of him, which the spell Ron shouted bounce off and flew towards him. Ron ducked.

"Stop stop stop!" Hermione screamed, jumping in between Ron and Draco.

"Hermione, what are you doing? Move!" Ron called, ready to aim another spell at Draco.

"No, Stop all of you"

"Shut up Granger, Move!!" Pansy shot at her, she had glee on her face. The shock from before had disappered, she seemed to having fun watching the fight before her. She pulled her wand out and pointed it at Hermione, her look seemed to say 'i dare you to do something stupid'

Draco sighed, he really did dislike Pansy, without a second thought he pointed his wand at her and said, "Stupefy" It hit its target, and Pansy fell to the grassy floor, her wand falling next to her. Hermione and Ron both looked at him in surprise.

"I never liked her anyway" He told Hermione, ignoring Ron. She giggled.

"Hermione? Is what he said true?" Ron asked in a small voice, Hermione looked at him

"Yes!" She whispered back, nodding. Ron's mouth fell open, his eyes bulged.

"He'll hurt you Hermione, he doesn't mean what he's said." Ron said, trying to reason with her, it didn't work.

"Look Ron we love each other, if you don't want to hear it then go" She stared him down.

And angry Ron stowed his wand away and stormed off, no doubt going to tell Harry.

"Were in big trouble" She simple said, following Ron with her eyes. Draco took her hand and led her away, nodding his head. Pansy left forgotten.

CHAPTER 10

Hermione woke from a troubled sleep, not the first one she had had either. It had been days since her and Draco were found out, and in all that time she hadn't seen Ron at all, and Pansy had been admitted into the hospital wing. Good thing she had enough brains to not rat them out, she thought and she swang her legs over the side of the bed. Her forehead was sweaty and wet, she felt hot after her dream. Her legs felt shaky as she stood up from her bed, regaining her balance she threw on some spare clothes and walked towards the door. It was Saturday, one of the first sunny days on Summer, the girls dormintry was deserted. So no watched as Hermione slipped out the room and down the stairs into the common room, which to was deserted, but for two boys. One was taller than the other, his bright red hair easy to see for a mile away. The other boy was slightly smaller, and with black hair. There backs were turned as Hermione spotted them, she turned to quitely go, she didn't want to talk to them, not now at least. Harry turned round as her foot touched a squeeky step.

"Hermione, can we talk to you please?"

Harry called, she mentally cursed herself and she turned round and made her way towards them. Plonking herself on a free chair near them she looked down at her feet.

"Yeah" She mummbled, not looking up. She heard someone shift in their seat.

"How could you 'Moine?" Ron asked, he didn't sound angry, but sad, a surprised Hermione realised. She looked up and into his eyes, feeling guilty.

"I love him"

Ron took her hand, smiling weakly, "Were only saying this because we care Hermione.."

"..We think you should end it with Draco, he's no good for you" Harry finished for him, Hermione felt tears in her eyes. Shaking her head she stood up, she suddenly felt angry, they never understood.

"You don't understand, you NEVER understand. I love him and nothing can change that!" She shouted at them, a sob shoke her frame. They both stood to comfort her, there arms wrapping themselves round her. Pulling away she shot,

"Leave me alone" Before running out to the common room, to the surprised faces of other students.

She stopped a little way from the common room, breathing deeply she looked round. The corridor was deserted, no a soul in sight. All she could hear was the heavy wind hitting itself against the glass windows, she shivered and pulled her jumper closer to herself.

"Hermione?" Someone asked kindly behind her, she turned to see Ron walking towards her. His hands shuved in his trouser pockets, and the tips of his ears
slghtly redder then normal. He smiled kindly at her.

"Im sorry about what happened back there" He indicated behind him, a sorry expression on his features. Hermione nodded, without speaking, she shivered again, Something Ron noticed.

"Your cold..Here!" He took of his marron jacket and gave it to her, Hermione took it with a smile and put it on over her jumper. She suddenly felt warmer.

"Thank You" She said quitely. He smiled at her again.

Ron gave a nervous cough and opened his mouth, closing it again. He opened his mouth again, nothing came out.

"Just say it Ronald" Hermione told him, a smile playing at the edges of her lips. She waited. He coughed again,

"I-i your seeing Draco, and it really bugs me, but-but i cant change what ou think of him. I just want you to know that if you like him then i'll stand by
you always.." He stopped suddenly and took a step closer, "I like you Hermione..i like you alot" He whispered to her, taking another step forward he leaned in and gave her a quick kiss on the lips...

Pansy was angry, very angry. It wasn't till the fact the person she loved was going out with...with a mudblood that she really got annoyed. And to top it off he had stupfy'd her.

"How could he!?" She muttered to herself as she walked slowly though the halls of the school searching for Draco. She just couldnt get her head round it, her mind going back to all the days when she sat laughing with Draco over the fact Potty and his little friends were pathetic, and...and in all this time he had liked her.

"Not me, but HER!!" She screamed in rage and stapped her foot on the stone floor. People all around her looked at her, some laughter, some confustion playing on their faces.

"What!" She cried to a second year passing by, He jumped and walked fast down the hall.

Pansy stormed down the corridor once more, she turned the corner and stopped dead. A smiled playing on her lips. She stood before her, kissing...kissing that boy, Weasly. Pansy felt she wanted to laugh out loud, but she stopped herself, taking a step closer.

"So what do we have here, the little mudblood, kissing a blood traitor. How amusing" She chuckled as she watched them jump apart. Hermione's cheeks were bright red, as were Ron's ears.

"I wonder what Draco will say when i tell him that his little girlfriend has been kissing someone else" She grinned again.

"You-you cant!" Hermione cried, tears in her eyes.

"Watch me!" She shot back. Hermione let out a sob and ran away, she laughed.

"Just leave her alone!!" Ron snarled at her before running after Hermione.


So honestly what do you think?? Sorry for the long delay...didnt have time to write as often as id like...But now im on a two week easter break...So around my birthday, days out and homework(coursework) I shall have LOTS of time to write
