Chapter 11: The Last Detention and Finding Out About My Mother's Death

When I go to Professor Umbridge's office for the last 3 days of my detentions were horrid, but on the last day Harry had sit through missing the tryouts for his Gryffindor Quidditch team Keeper. He wished he could have watched the tryouts, but he was stuck with me in Umbridge's office. As shemade us write line again with those special quills that cut into our skin as we wrote our lines on the parchment with own blood. I started to write my own lines as soon as Professor Umbridge had handed me and Harry the quills that she got from her handbag for the 7th time in a week. My hand starts to bleedas fresh wound opens up as I start writing my lines as the blood runs freely down my hand and onto the parchment as drips onto it. Then I wince in pain and I notice that Harry is sneaking glances out the window
trying to see who is team was tryout for Gryffindor Team Keeper. It was getting darker and darker as it became harder for Harry to see who they were trying out now for Keeper. Harry's hand was bleeding freely down past his wrist everytime that he wrote his lines the same as mine.

It was 11 o' clock at night on the clock in Professor Umbridge's wall before she had let Harry and I leave for our final detention. As we leave together ouyt the door we head down several corridors far wayfrom Umbridge's office and then I say to Harry as calmly as possible, "I have been dreaming about my father, Sirius Black, your godfather meeting him. Also I have had another dream that that he was caught by the Ministery or by You-Know-Who, but I never met him. It feels like I have strongconnection to him. Can you find a way so I can meet my father, Harry?" Harry looks at me puzzled at my question, but then he says to me, "I will do my best to arrange a meeting with your father, Sirius Black,Isabella. First I got to make contact with him. You can trust me, Isabella." Then Harry sticks his right hand out for me to shake it and I shake with my right hand that had been cut open and just scabbed over with Harry's.

Cool! Isabella is finally going to meet Sirius! PAMSOID!

All of sudden out of nowhere right where Harry and I was standing Peeves pops into view and starts floating and blobbing up and down with his voice crackling, "Students Out Of Bed!" Harry swears at Peeves as Peeves was starting to attact Mr. Filch, the old Caretaker and his cat, Mrs. Norris. Harry looks at me and says, "Run! Follow me! I know a shortcut. Come on we don't Filch on trails." I heed Harry's advice and we make a run for it. So Harry and I make run as we run for with all our might as Harry in the lead as he opens the Marauder's Map to make sure that Filch wasn't following us. Harry leads me through several tapesteries, through part of the castle I never in before with a picture of a painting of of a strange wizard that was trying to examine by the looks of it an odd sort of creature that wasn't mention any magical creature guide and then I finally collapse in front of the painting.

As I collasped in front of the picture because I am out of breathe and Harry has to get me to breathe slowly. After few minutes time it was about midnight now and I slowly get. Harry checks his map again to make sure it is safe because he wants to walk to up the Ravenclaw Tower to make sure I get there without getting into trouble as it is without getting caught.

We continue taking shortcuts until we finally reach the Ravenclaw Tower and I say to Harry, "Thanks for saving for and getting out of trouble, Harry and avoiding Filch as well. I don't want to serve another detention, but I got to serve one with Snape soon cause I was supposed to serve on with him a few days ago and now I am so much trouble as it is. I know he doesn't like because my father, Sirius Black." Harry says, "He hates me the evil git. I better get to the Gryffindor Tower as soon as possible. See you, Isabella." I say, "Bye, Harry." as he turned to leave towards the Gryffindor Tower.

Harry had left as I said the password, "Phoenix!" When I enter the Ravenclaw Common room, I see a letter that is addressed to me on the table near the fireplace. So I headed over to the table with my right hand hurting in pain as I move quickly as possible to the table.

I reach the table and I pick the letter that was addressed to me with my hands shaking feeling so nervous as I start to tremble. The letter had red seal on it and I slit open with my index finger on my left hand.

I start to read the the letter and it was 12:30 AM. It says in blue ink:

Dear Isabella Black,

My dearest Isabella, I haven't much time because I am dying my child. You got to understand that I love you with all my heart and soul.

Please Isabella, find your father, Sirius Black and stay with him. He was good man and i know he will take good care of you.

Isabella, my beautiful daugther, I need to know that even when I am gone I will be still in your heart. It pains me to write this and I know shouldn't have to tell you this my sweet child because it is tearing my apart in two.

The pain is unbearable to Isabella and by the time you get this letter, I will be dead and gone because I am about to take my own life and I am going to commit suicide because I can't take life any more.

I read the letter and I start to cry as i get to the end of it. I pocket the letter in my school robes. I can't believe my own mother commited suicide. I am in very deep shock and disbelieve that I by waht happened I run up to the dormitory not paying any attention to where I was going and when I reach the 5th year girl's dorms where my friends and I slept, I go to my bed sobbing as I threw myself upon my bed with my face in my pillow.

It was hard from to write that in the story. I made me cry as wrote that because my friend died before I wrote that.

Poor Isabella! She should go and talk to Harry about this. PAMSOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She will go to her father for help and Dumbledore.

Chapter 12: Going to Dumbledore and Sirius For Help

My friends hear me crying and they all get up to see what is the matter with me. The first person who came to was my friend, Azura Thomas, who says to as she sits besides me, "What is the matter and what is wrong, Isabella?" I try to reply, I get all choke up from crying. Then I say to Azura as I turn my head toward to see her as I was still crying, "I........... just found out........................" I continue to cry as I stop talking. Then Azura says to me as calmly as possible, "What did you find out Isabella?" The rest of my friends are standing around my bed as Azura was talking to me. Then I say, "I................. found.......... out............. that............ my............... mother................ has................ died." After I said that Azura puts her arms around me trying to comfort me byh saying, "There, there. Use this to blow your nose." Azura gives me a blue hankerchief to my nose on to wipe the tears from my eyes.

It was Semptember 10th and I was still crying after few minutes later after Azura gave me the blue hankerchief. It was 12:45 AM by the time I start to calm down. My friends didn't see my my right hand all scarred up by the detentions I have serving with Professor Umbridge because I hid my hand underneath the pillow. I wasn't going to tell them how my mother really died and I am glad that Azura didn't press the matter. She told me to get some sleep and she would would go back to her bed and if I need ed anything to wake her. So I try to take her advice and try to fall asleep. As I fall to sleep images of my mother committing suicide kept popping in my dreams. I start to toss and turn in my sleep. Then I sit bolt upright in my bed because the images are getting terriffyingly scary in my head. I get up from my bed crying not realizing what I was I doing and I start to head out the dormitory and down the stone steps to the common room.

She just lost her mother and she has horrible nightmares about her committing suicide.

No, she doesn't want to stay in her bed because she make her more miserable and in pain. Plus how am going to get her to met her father?

Also she doesn't know what she is doing she is sleepwalking.




I reach the portrait and I exit it as open it to get out the Ravenclaw Tower without realizing how I was doing it. I start to roam the corridors in the dead of night and it was about 1:30 AM now. I can hear owls hootinbg in the forest way out in the distance, also I hear portraits along the corridors snooozing as I walked the corridors not realizing where I was going. I am still crying very softly as tears are running down my face as I walk the corridors unware of what I was doing or I was at the moment. All I know is that my feet are taking me to straight to Headmaster Dumbledore's office as if I am being summoned to his office again.

When I reach the stone gryffin that guards Headmaster Albus Dumbledore's office I just stand there dead inside wondering how I got there. The images that I had in my dream are still floating inside my head of my mother's really violent suicide as they flash before me. Dumbledore comes down and the stiars and down the steps as he sees me. He senses me something wrong with me. I try to look at his long white hair flowed down passed his back, his beard that flowed passed his belt and he was wearing his half-moon glasses that showed his blue eyes that twinkle in them. He was wearing a long white dressing gown that showed a few inches above his ankle and tartan slippers.

He says as he sees me crying, "Miss Black?" I sudden realize Professor Dumbledore is beside me talking to me and I say as I am crying, "Yes, professor." Professor Dumbledore says to me, "How did you here?" I try to say, "I................ don't............ know..............", but as I said it the pain of my mother's death hurt like a knife stabbing straight into my heart. Professor Dumbledore says, "Come into my office, Miss Isabella Black to explain what is going on>" Both of us step onto the stone steps as Dumbledore said the password and it started to move up to the headmaster's office.
