I was lying on the grass in the pouring rain on the school grounds. I was clearly not feeling well.
What I did to Draco was very very bad, I didn't think I could look at another human. My stomach churned everytime I saw a student walk past or talk to me during school, but I called in sick and snuck out to a grassy area on a hill. While everyone was in lessons. My head was spinning and my throat was sore. What was I going to do now? I had to show Hayley that I wasnt afraid of her or anyone else in that matter. She had got Pansy on her side, I don't know how though, Pansy liked Draco too, why would she want to help Hayley get Draco? She probobly lied to Pansy.
That night when I had kissed Draco he told me he really liked me, One nil to me! I had thought to myself. But once Draco had found out what I was he would go straight back to Hayley. I had to get myself away from Draco. But how could I? I was addicted to him ever since I had kissed him, and he was hanging out with me more than Hayley.

I heard students walk out the castle and spread across the grounds. It was the end of the day, Draco would find me soon.
Sooner than I thought, I sat up as I saw a tall figure carrying an umbrella walk towards me. My surroundings were all blurry, it might not be him. It was. The tall, blonde figure sat next to me and out his arm around me.
"Aren't you supposed to be in bed?"
"Yes, but..I.. felt a bit claustrophobic" Draco looked at me and kissed me on the forehead.
"You feeling better?"
"Sort of, I'm a bit wet though" I giggled
Draco chuckled and checked me out.
"A bit? ou look like a drained rat" I pretened to be angry.
"A pretty drained rat though" He said innocently. I laughed at him and tried to stop myself from wrapping my arms around him, but it was too late, I guess my arms had a mind of their own.
"Draco?"
"yeah?" He murmmered.
"You like me right?" Drco shuffled back and looked at me as if that was the most pathetic question he had ever heard.
"No, Alice. I loath you. I can't even look at you" He said turning away. He then turned back to show he was only joking.
"I mean, You would like me if ..."
"If what?"
"I don't know. It's hard to explain"
"Let's see if I can understand" He winked. I sighed and stopped holding him. How was I going to say this, it would sound pathetic.
"You know what? It doesn't matter anyway"
"You sure?"
"Yep"
"Okay then. Oh! Do you know what's up with Hayley? She's kind of been avoiding me"
"I .. honestly don't know"
"Ok, never mind then" He grabbed my waist and tackled me to the ground.
"So now that you feel better, Can I kiss you? Or are you still not well?"
I kissed him softly without saying anything. Damn! I shouldn't of done that.
"I'm fine" I said afterwards, smiling up at him. He kissed me this time, it was really deep. Wow, he must like me. I smiled and kissed him too. Stop it Alice! I said to myself. What was wrong with me?
"So-" He said lifting me back up.
"-You know Halloween is coming up"
"Yeah" He looked around so that there was no one listening.
"And there is a .. Halloween ball"
"There is?"
"Yeah! didn't any of the girls tell you?" I suddenly thought of Hayley.
"No, I guess not" I sighed. Draco looked at me, puzzled. But carried on anyway.
"Well, Do you want to go with me?" He smiled and kissed me again. He sort of caught me of guard.
"With, the majority of the school there? all in the same room?"
"Umm, yeah I guess. Why? Is that a problem?"
"No! No. It's fine. Yeah, I'll go" I said. Draco put me on his lap and kissed me again and again.
"Really? Aww thanks Alice! I've been meaning to ask you for a while. But I guess it took longer"
"Well, you have now, and I'd .. love to go" I said trying to sound happy.

Stop kissing me Draco!!! My head kept screaming at him, although he couldn't hear anything.
Oh please stop my thirst now....

Hollie! I am so frickin happy you posted! This is one of my favorite FF's! I'm so happy how rapidly your writing skills are developing! And this is such an original storyline! I am so proud of you, Hollie! *tackles*
Ooh, I hope Alice gets to keep Draco. Cuz Pansy is ugly, and Hayley is mean. So they'd make a cute couple. And ooh the more kissing! I'm loving it. You cant go wrong in a story with a good snog.

This story is so amazing Hollie... and I loved the rain and Draco with an umbrella (now, where have I read that before

) I agree with Tara, Alice should keep Draco, Pansy is...well, Pansy and Hayley is being mean.... Even though Blackmailing is fun

Okay, So I've decided who to put in my story, So look out for your name

Okay, so I was going to this Halloween ball thingy with Draco. I knew I didn't want to go. The voices in my head kept yelling different things at me.
"Go! It'll be fun!"
"No! You might lash out on him!"
"No she won't!"
"Yes she will!"
I smacked my head a few times to shut them up. "Just delusions" I said to myself.

I was in the common room, by myself. I didn't want to see Draco. Or Hayley. Or anyone for that matter, I needed time to think. Firstly, How could I go through with this without attacking anyone. Where they are all in one big room. All smelling gorgeous ......
WOW! I smacked my head again. Secondly, What was I going to wear? I had never been to a ball before. I wasn't even sure if I wanted to go.
No, I did want to, 2 reasons:
1. I didn't want to hurt Draco's feelings, I did like him. Not so sure on the love part though. We were going out sort of so should I deeply love him?
2. I wanted to show Hayley that I could do what I wanted, and if I did lash out on anyone it would be her.
My mind felt so empty, I had no idea what I was going to do. Actaully, I did. Go to the ball and have fun, and ... breath through your mouth, just like on your first day.
I sighed and closed my eyes. I was sitting in one of those large chairs infront of the fire.
As quickly as they closed, my eyes opened again. Behind me, there was a rustling of bags and clothes.
Puzzled, I turned around and saw a girl in the corner of the room taking a dark, pink dress from a shopping bag. The dress was beautiful, it was certainly the type of dress I liked. The girl looked up and saw me staring at the dress.
"You like it? It's for the ball"
"I noticed. It's very nice" The girl smiled at me and walked over, she sat in the chair opposite.
"Hi, I'm Carla" She lifted her hand to shake. Again, I ignored it.
"Alice. So who are you going to the ball with?"
"Oh, I'm going with Tristin. He's a guy in Ravenclaw, I'm not that intrested in many boys in Slytherin. Well Draco, obviously. But, apparantly with someone else"
"Yeah. me" Carla's jaw dropped and she stared at me for a while.
"Oh My God! You're going to the ball with Draco Malfoy?"
"You make it sound like it's the best thing ever"
"It is! You are the luckiest girl ever!" She was so astonished at the fact that I was going with Draco. After a while of asking questions about Draco and our relationship, she asked if I was going to Hogsmede tomorrow.
"Well, I was planing to go, but not with anyone. You can come with me if you like"
"Great! We could get you a dress" I had already told her I had no idea what to wear.
I had also told her about the thing with Hayley. Carla had said that she did like Hayley, because everyone did, but she could be quite mean. But atleast she believed me. Carla was the only friend I had here at Hogwats, apart from Draco, that is. but he doesn't count. I guess he was my 'boyfriend'.

OK it was a bit short, but the next stuff is for the next chapter

First of all, I loved the post (as always may I say), the dress is just beautiful and it's really good for Alice to have found a new friend after the "problem" with Hayley (and it's even better that her new friend has my name)

And the only boy in Slytherin Carla could be interested in is Draco? I wonder why
