Now... Chapter 8
Ron ran up the stairs as fast as he could. He figured Hermione would have run to Ginny’s room, since that’s where she was sleeping. In front of her door, he wrapped his hand around the knob. It slipped off when he tried to turn it. He cursed under his breath.
“Hermione! Open the door! I’m sorry. I didn’t mean what I said. It came out wrong.” Ron said pounding on the door.
“Go away!” he heard her wail through the door.
“I said I was sorry.” Ron said, not moving away from the door.
“Your such an emotionless git!” she yelled back.
“Come on Hermione! Just open the door.”
“NO!”
“Please!” Ron begged. He didn’t want to lose his friendship with her. Ron had strong, overwhelming, feelings for Hermione. He was fine with only being her friend (even though he would of liked to be more than her friend) but now he seemed to have blown that. He would stay at her door until she forgave him, he decided. He was not going to lose her friendship.
“I don’t even want to look at you. Just go away!” she said.
Ron cursed in frustration again. Then he pulled out his wand, tired of knocking on her door. “ Alhoromora!” he said and the door’s lock clicked open. He opened the door and walked in cautiously. Hermione was kneeling by her bed, her head hiding in her hands.
He walked over and slowly put his hand on her back. “I’m sorry Mione.” He whispered to her.
She jumped at his touch and looked up at him angrily. “Usually when people lock the door, they want privacy.” She said, her eyes flashing.
“I know, but I just wanted to say-“
“Your sorry. I got it. Now leave.” She said, cutting him off.
“Not until you forgive me.” He replied, not wanting to give up on her.
“Why should I forgive you?! You obviously don’t think I’m worthy of going to a stupid ball. Why do you want my worthless forgiveness?” she said. Her eyes were brimming with tears. He saw that her eyes were already red from crying and they were beginning to get puffy, but Ron couldn’t help to notice how beautiful she looked.
“It’s not worthless.”
“Whatever.” She said and hid her face in her hands on her bed again.
Ron bent down and got onto his knees next to her. He then gentle moved her head from her hands so she was looking at him. “I wanted to ask you to the ball, but Krum got to you first. I really wanted to go with you.” He told her quietly.
“You did ask me. As your last resort!” Hermione said, not missing a beat. She moved a little away from him, staring daggers at him.
“You weren’t my last resort. You were my first choice. But I was to shy to ask you.” Ron confessed.
Hermione said nothing but stared long and hard at him. Her eyed were penetrating his very soul. He wanted to look away from her chilling look, but he didn’t. Still looking deep into her chocolate eyes, he said so quietly, it was barely more than a whisper, “See, you’re totally worthy. You had a line of people to ask you to the ball. I was just to late.”
When she still didn’t say anything, Ron dropped his head in defeat. Slowly he got up and walked to the door. When he was about to open the door, Hermione finally spoke.
“Why do you hate Viktor so much?” she asked.
Ron turned back to face her. “I don’t know. He just puts off a bad vibe.”
“Is it because you are jealous of him?” she said slowly getting to her feet.
“No.” he said, his voice cracking.
She looked at him long and hard again. This time he couldn’t stand the piercing look, so he looked away. When he peaked another glance at her, he saw a tear roll down her pretty face.
“Hermione, don’t cry. I didn’t mean-“
“No it’s ok. I’m not thinking about that anymore.” She said, brushing her hand over her face.
“What are you thinking about then?” he asked stepping closer to her.
“It’s just stupid. I’m getting upset over your insensitivity-“
“I said I was sorry!”
“Yes I know, Ronald. But…” She sank down onto her bed, more tears coming down.
Ron walked over and sat down next to her. “What is it?”
“A lot of things.” She mumbled.
“Talk to me.”
“Harry can die, Ron. And you and me are arguing over a stupid letter.” She finally said.
“Why what’s the matter with Harry?”
She rolled her eyes. “He needs to go up against the most powerful wizard in the world. Now that Dumbledore isn’t here anymore. What if he dies?” tears were free falling down her cheek now.
Ron wrapped his arms around her and brought her closer to him. She laid her head on his chest and sniffed. “Don’t worry. Harry is going to be all right. We are going to be there for him no matter what.” He said rubbing her back soothingly.
“But what if something happens to us?” she said looking up into his eyes. What he saw broke his heart. There was fear and sorrow in them. He wanted it to go away and see the happiness and intelligence return, but he didn’t know how.
“Nothing is going to happen to either of us. I promise.” There a post for my loyal readers

Ok Im back With a post!!! Chapter 9
It was dark outside and Ron and Hermione hadn’t come back down. Harry and Ginny played a couple games of wizard chess. They were finally pushing past the awkward stage and just talking normal to each other. Harry was glad. The first couple of days had been so uncomfortable. But now it felt like they were just friends again. No guilt attached.
“I wonder what happened to Ron and Hermione.” Harry said as Ginny’s castle was moving in on his pawn.
“She probably killed him.” Ginny said watching the castle take the now empty space. Harry chuckled as Mrs. Weasley walked in.
“Do you guys want some supper?” she asked wearing a multicolored apron.
“Of course! I’m starved.” Ginny said, stretching.
Harry tried not to look at her as she stretched. It gave him the sudden urge to grab hold of her and kiss her. Instead, he got up and followed Ginny into the kitchen. Mrs. Weasley was carrying food to the table when he walked in. Bill and Fluer had left for the day to go to her parents’ house. So it was only the three of them eating dinner at the table.
“Where is Ron and Hermione? Don’t they want something to eat?” Mrs. Weasley asked.
“Er-“ Harry said looking at Ginny.
“I don’t think they are very hungry.” Ginny replied coolly, serving herself some mashed potatoes.
“Well when you see them, tell them to put out their clothes so I can wash. You two put out your clothes too.” Mrs. Weasley said very motherly.
“Yes mum.” Ginny said, rolling her eyes at Harry. Luckily Mrs. Weasley hadn’t seen her. Harry stifled a laugh and took a drink from his cup.
“I also think you all should start packing soon. Because before you know it, you all will be going back to school.”
Ginny put her hand up and mockingly flapped it up and down, making it “talk”, behind her mother’s back. Harry kicked out his leg and hit hers playfully. He didn’t want her to get caught. She giggled and kept eating.
He had grown steadily tired as he ate. Talking to Ginny and Mrs. Weasley was great. He felt like he was just part of the family, talking about everything and anything. Their talking ranged from Bill and Fluer’s wedding to Fred and George’s shop. They talked and laughed at stupid jokes they told each other, for hours. It was like everything was fine and normal. The constant worries of where Voldermort was and what he was doing, was squashed as he sat there at the table with the two girls. One being like a mother figure for him, and the other, more than a best friend. He wanted to stay in this moment forever.
When the clock chimed 11 o’clock, Harry bid them goodnight and walked up the stairs to Ron’s room. His eyes itched with sleepiness. When he walked in Ron’s bed was empty. Harry wondered if he was still with Hermione. He smiled, as he thought what Ginny had said. “Maybe she did kill him.” He thought with a chuckle. He took off his pants and put on some pajama bottoms. Then, he climbed into his bed and fell asleep, with Ginny’s beautiful face on his mind. Bringing smiles to his face. Sorry this chapter came out short  Ill post more tomorrow to make up for it. Hope you all like the new chapter. Its still going kind of slow, but I promise it will get better soon.

And now a post!!! Chapter 10
Harry woke up the next morning to a quiet house. Usually there was some kind of sound or movement heard down stairs. But today it was as silent as a hospital room. He got up and realized Ron’s bed was still made. It didn’t even look like he went to bed last night.
Walking down the stairs, the silence was ringing in his ears. In the living room, he saw somebody curled up on the couch. A blanket wrapped loosely around a small figure. Toward the end of the couch, he saw the vivid red hair of Ginny Weasley. She stirred when Harry stepped on the last step, which creaked beneath his feet.
“Why did you sleep down here?” Harry asked sinking into an armchair that sat near the couch.
She rubbed the sleepiness from her eyes and sat up. “My door was locked, so I came down here.” She yawned.
“Your door was locked? Does that mean Ron and Hermione was in there?” Harry wondered out loud.
“That’s what I’m guessing.” She replied.
“Why is it so quiet in here? Where’s your mum?” Harry asked. The silence was starting to creep him out.
“I don’t know.” Ginny said screwing her face up in confusion. She slipped her legs over the edge of the couch and gracefully got up. Harry followed her into the kitchen. It was empty. Nothing was moving in the still kitchen. Not even the dishes were washing themselves like they usually did in the morning. The window was open and a slight wind was blowing the curtains back and forward. The only thing that showed of somebody actually being here was the pot of coffee gurgling.
While Harry had been looking around the empty kitchen, Ginny had walked over to the table and picked up a letter. He watched her eyes move across the piece of parchment as she read it. When she got toward the middle of the letter, she put her hand to her mouth and let out a small gasp. Harry walked over and said, “What is it?” Ginny said nothing but handed him the letter. Dear kids,
I am not home as you can obviously see. I’m at St. Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. But don’t worry; the healers have informed me that Charlie will be all right. I guess he was working with a particular dragon and its flames burned him. The burns were pretty deep, so they had to bring him here. He is sleeping now. Bill and Fluer are here also. I’ll be home soon. And this goes for all of you when I say you are forbidden to leave the house. Sorry I couldn’t make breakfast before I could leave. Please stay out of trouble and behave yourselves.

“You ok?” he asked her.
“Yeah. I’m fine.” She said. But she looked the exact opposite.

“Yes, I’m fine Harry. Do you want to make something to eat or just eat some cereal? I think we might even have some grapefruit.” She said beginning to talk really fast. “We have oatmeal also. I’ve never really been a fan of it though. Do you want pancakes?”
“Gin, calm down. You are talking way to fast.”
“I’m not talking fast. You’re just not listening.” She snapped.
Harry was taken aback when she snapped at him. He then pulled her to him and hugged her in a tight embrace.
“What are you doing?” she asked squirming in his arms.
“It’s ok. Charlie is going to be all right. Just calm down.” Harry said soothingly. But instead of relaxing, she shook in his arms. “This is more than about Charlie, isn’t it?” he said, raising his head to look into her eyes. Slowly, she nodded her head.
“I had a dream last night.” She said quietly.
“What was it about?”
“I don’t really want to talk about it. But it scared me.” She walked away from him and sat down at the table.
“I’m sorry you had a bad dream. Is there anything I can do to help?” he asked sitting across from her.
“Just sit here with me.” She said sadly.
Harry reached over and gently squeezed her hand. “I’m not going any where.” He smiled. She gave him a warm smile in return and squeezed his hand back. Hope you liked it!!! It took me forever to post because SS kept on kicking me off
