Plot Twist This is a simple but fun and bookwormy game! All you do is look at the post above you. The poster will provide a brief blurb of a famous plot (story/play etc), and YOU get to add in a PLOT TWIST! It can be as ridiculous as you want (the more ridiculous, the better). Then just add your own brief blurb for the next person to PLOT TWIST! |
PLOT TWIST: He wakes up to find that it was all a dream, and he is really DUDLEY DURSLEY. Plot: A young girl is swept up by a tornado in Kansas and lands in a new and magical place with lots of color and finds that her house has rid the land of the evil witch. |
Plot Twist: She decides that being good isn't her style so she puts on the ruby slippers and becomes the evil witch and rules the land. Plot: A young girl is faced with the fact that she is Divergent. She must learn to use this to her advantage to help fight against the people trying to kill divergents. |
PLOT TWIST: After a few protracted battles, she discovers she's not very good at fighting. Really more of a lover and not a fighter. Soooo, she moves to the woods and starts a commune for People Who Want To Feed Squirrels All Day (PWWTFSAD). She dies of rabies from a squirrel bite. Plot: A hobbit is invited on an incredible journey by a gang of dwarves and a crafty old wizard. |
Plot twist: The hobbit gets sick of all of them and decides he is way to cool for that school. He then because king of his pretend tree kingdom and lives there happily ever after. Plot: A family moves into a family owned older house. When strange things start to happen the children investigate what is really going on at the Spiderwick Estate. |
PLOT TWIST: The kids discover they are being controlled by a powerful Witch, every move they make, and live the rest of their lives in a house controlled by the witch. Plot: A girl moves to Forks, Washington and falls in love with a sparkly vampire. |
PLOT TWIST: Sparkly vampire has a crush on muscular werewolf. They get hitched and the plain Jane is left behind to graduate from Forks high school and eventually goes to college to become ...actually, she seeks a "general studies" degree. Plot: Man steals woman from her Greek husband because some goddess told him he could have her as a prize. A war results. |
PLOT TWIST: Everyone left their weapons at home, so they have to result to one massive fist fight instead. Plot: A teenage boy's memory is wiped, and he's placed in a maze with other boys, creatures with abundant appendages, and no adult supervision- technically. |
PLOT TWIST: The boy takes one look at the place he's come to and finds the field force, blows it up and finds his memory back from the electric jolt. PLOT: Father takes his wife and 5-year-old, who has telepathic abilities, to live in the Overlook Hotel where he will serve as the Winter Caretaker. The hotel possesses the dad, who goes cray-cray. |
PLOT TWIST: Man one day realizes what's happened, moves out, and becomes the Winter Caretaker for....the Hollywood Tower Hotel ^__^ Plot: Girl volunteers to go into the Hunger Games in her sister's place. |
PLOT TWIST: The girl is the first to die in the arena and the Hunger Games continues forever. PLOT: The warren of a group of rabbits is to be destroyed by man. On the advice of one rabbit, a small group escape to find a new home. |
PLOT TWIST: the rabbits settle down in the same spot some trolls live, and a war breaks out between the rabbits and the trolls. Plot: Man finds a clue to a great treasure on the back of the Declaration of Independence and recruits his friend and love interest to follow the clues. |
PLOT TWIST: The man's love interest turns out to be a saboteur and is actually a Bounty Hunter who has been recruited to claim the treasure once it has been found. PLOT: Woman wakes up on the floor of the gym believing it to be 1999, but it is actually 2008. |
PLOT TWIST: As the woman counts down to Y2K, she makes those around her increasingly furious at her doomsday prepping. They decide to gaslight her and help her build a bomb shelter which they hope to seal her into forEVER. Much to their (short term) chagrin, the world does end, and the woman is the only one to survive. (what book IS this, JESS?) PLOT: A young woman finds herself alone and broke in rural Oklahoma, where she unexpectedly gives birth in the local Walmart. |
PLOT TWIST: the woman turns out to be a magician PLOT: A teenager girl with a rebel personality runs away from school with friends to party then she's pursued to be crowned queen of a far away land. |
PLOT TWIST: When the citizens of the far away land catch her, they realize that she's not so well suited to be queen after all. Highly underqualified, for realsies. They throw her back to her party, where the girl loses her phone and has to walk home with only one shoe. PLOT: A doctor takes up residence with a gifted but sociopathic sleuth who lives only to help the police and annoy people. |
PLOT TWIST: The sleuth winds up in jail for the rest of his life due to taking the law into his own hands, and the doctor ends up in an insane asylum rambling on forever about the "good old days." PLOT: A street rat finds a genie in a lamp and wishes to be a prince. |
PLOT TWIST: The Genie is really Ursula from The Little Mermaid, and she transforms it into another Minion Eel. PLOT: Girl discovers she is a Shadowhunter, and her mother had been using a Warlock for years to remove the memories of the Shadow World. |
Plot TWIST: The Warlock is her DAD!!!! PLOT: Three dogs get lost in the prairie and have to find their way home. They can talk. |
Plot twist: they come to a little house where they meet a little girl named Laura who can hear them and is so freaked out by it that she throws them in the pound. Plot: A skinny red haired orphan girl is adopted by a brother and sister in Avonlea. |
Plot TWIST: A dragon kidnaps her and locks her in a tower. PLOT: A boy just wants to be in musicals, but his dad wants him to play basketball. He meets a girl who equally as much wants to be in musicals. |
