Well, is it love or not?

Blurb: Love is in the air . . . I think

Harry, Hermione and Ron were entering their last year at Hogwarts. After this year, Harry, Hermione and Ron, all had a place for them waiting in The Ministry Of Magic. Hermione, Ron and Harry got a compartment to themselves. Hermione, who had the longest secret crush on Harry, was trying to brush Crookshanks fur but he just ran away. Ron, who was together with Lavender, was staring out the window, looking out on the fields.

Then Lavender entered their compartment and sat next to Ron and gave him a hug. “Hi guys! This is going to be our last year at Hogwarts.” She said Sadly.
“Hi Lavender.” Said Ron, “ how are you?”
“I’m fine thanks Ron.” Said Lavender; “Well I’ll see you when we get there!” Lavender Ron one last hug and went out. (Lavender too, had a place waiting for her at the Ministry Of Magic.)

“I wonder what’s our last year going to be like?” asked Ron
“ Well, I’ll be studying for our NEWTs this year.” Said Hermione and got out a schoolbook and started reading.
“I dunno Ron. But I’m sure going to miss Hogwarts.” Said Harry Sadly.
“ Don’t worry Harry, you are still going to stay at my house every holiday aren’t you?” asked Ron, “ and we’re going to see each other anyway at The Ministry Of Magic.”
“I suppose.” said Harry.

They arrived at Hogwarts with their robes on and then they heard Hagrid shouting “Firs’ years! Firs’ years follow me!”

They entered Hogwarts and sat down and waited for the sorting ceremony to begin.

After the feast, Professor Dumbledore had an announcement.
“ Now, may I be pleased to announce the Head Boys and Girls from each house.” Professor Dumbledore continued, “ In Slytherin, Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson. In Hufflepuff, Susan Bones and Justin Finch-Fletchley, In Ravenclaw, Terry Boot and Lisa Turpin and finally,
In Gryffindor, Harry Potter and Hermione Granger.

Everyone clapped. Harry was amazed. He thought Ron was going to be head boy. After all, he was the prefect of Gryffindor. Hermione, on the other hand, thought this was the perfect chance to make Harry like her as they had the same jobs. Hermione couldn’t wait to do her job. She could stay up late and tell people off but on the other hand, Draco Malfoy was a head boy as well.

Well, is it love or not?

The next day, everyone received their timetable. Hermione was looking at the subjects she would be doing her NEWTs in this year. Harry looked at his timetable. Double Transfiguration with the Hufflepuffs, Double Charms with he Ravenclaws, and TRIPLE potions with the Slytherins?!?! Harry couldn’t believe it! Now everyone in Harry’s class looked surprised. They had an extra lesson each day now! Then Dumbledore had an announcement. “ Can I please make an announcement that the seventh years will now be having an extra lesson everyday because of their NEWTs. The reason because the exams have been changed into a more advanced level.

Everyone moaned, even Hermione! In every lesson, each teacher took about half an hour talking about the NEWTs and how important it was.
Professor Snape’s was the worst. He made everyone try and do the potions that will probably come up during the exams. Only Hermione, to nobody’s surprise was the only one who could properly finish the potion.

After dinner, Hermione and Harry led the Gryffindors back to the dormitories (the prefects were in an important meeting) and then Harry went up to the boys room, laid on his bed and did some of his homework. Then Hedwig came and had a letter shaped like a love heart tied to her leg. Harry opened it; there was a neatly wrapped love heart chocolate piece and a card. And it said:

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
You may not know it,
But I love you.

Harry’s eyes widened. Harry couldn’t believe! Someone actually like him?!?! Who would ever like him? And he looked at the chocolate it was homemade. Harry knew for sure because it tasted delicious. Harry thought it was Ginny for a while. Harry liked Ginny a lot. But Harry’s girlfriend was Cho Chang. Cho was at America helping with some Ministry Of Magic business with her dad.

Anyway, he was wondering where Ron was so Harry went down to the common room and bumped into Hermione. Harry wasn’t sure but he thought Hermione was blushing. “Oh Hi, Harry” said Hermione, “um, have you seen Ron?”
“ Hermione are you ok?” asked Harry, “ you’re very red.”
“Oh it’s nothing.” Stammered Hermione and went up to the girl’s room. Hermione was wondering if Harry got her note. She was going to send little notes to him until he found out whom she was. Hermione was a little nervous but she knew she’d manage.
