Happy New Year! I am so sorry that I haven't been posting so here's a new post!

James put on his Quidditch robes, feeling angry that he has to play badly so nobody would find out what he did.
“Hey James, you okay?” Sirius asked him, “You look pretty p*ssed off.”
“I’m fine.” said James. “I’m just ready to kick some Slytherin butt!”
“Cool.” Sirius said, smiling and high-fiving James.

“James I thought you said you were ready to kick some Slytherin butt!” Sirius said ten minutes into the game. Slytherin already had twenty points while the Gryffindor had none.
“What’s happening to you James?” asked Sirius, “You weren’t doing this bad when we practiced last week.”
“I’m just nervous alright!”
“Well, try to get over your nerves or Wood will kill if we don’t win.”
James looked over at Mulciber, who was one of the Slytherin Beaters. Mulciber and the rest of the Slytherins, in the stands and on the team, were laughing their heads off. Anger and hatred surged through him as he looked at Mulciber, but remembering that Mia was in the hospital because of him kept him from stealing a Beater club and hitting Mulciber’s head with it. The game continued and nobody on the Gryffindor team trusted James with the Quaffle anymore since he kept pretending to fumble with it, throwing to the wrong side of the field, and kept ‘accidentally’ throwing it to a Slytherin.
“The Gryffindor team seems to not have faith in Chaser Potter anymore.” said a fifth year girl as she was doing the commentary, “Me seems to have gone against his team and sided with the Slytherins!”
When James had gotten hold of the Quaffle again, instead of going to the Slytherin hoops, he went to the commentary box and threw the Quaffle at the girl. Laughs were heard from the stand as the girl yelled in pain. McGonnagal waved an angry finger at him.
“A penalty for Slytherin!” she shouted into the microphone.
“Potter!” shouted Wood from the goal posts “Control your anger!”
James watched Slytherin make another score and felt more anger go through him until he finally snapped.
“Sirius,” he said “next time you get the Quaffle, toss it to me.”
“James, I’m not gonna lie to ya, but the way you’ve been playing today sucks.” said Sirius.
“Just trust me.”
When Sirius got the Quaffle, he tossed it to James like he was told and James went to the Slytherin goal posts and threw it directly through the hoop. The Gryffindors cheered.
“What are you doing Potter?!” Mulciber shouted at James, but James ignored him and grabbed the Quaffle from a Slytherin chaser.
When both teams were tied literally fifty-fifty thanks to James, James tore through the field, dodging bludgers and Slytherins with the Quaffle under his arm. When he reached the Slytherin goal posts, everyone except the Slytherins cheered; the Gryffindor Seeker had caught the Snitch. James threw the Quaffle at the Slytherin Keeper and headed towards the ground. The Gryffindor Seeker, Alex Johnson, landed on the ground with the Snitch in his hand, he punched the air excitedly; he had never had much luck catching the Snitch during practices and this was his first time. James shook Alex’s hand, congratulating him. Things were looking well for James until her heard Mulciber’s voice in the microphone.
“I’d like to make an announcement to everybody.” said Mulciber, “For those of you who know Amelia Potter, you probably also know that she’s in the Hospital Wing because of a flying accident.” McGonnagal tried to take the microphone away from Mulciber but he took it out of her reach, “She fell off her broom because she was depressed about her boyfriend Severus Snape from Slytherin not showing up for a date. But that isn’t his fault. No you see, the real person at fault for that horrible accident was her brother, the well liked Gryffindor James Potter drove Snape away. That’s all.” he tossed the microphone into McGonnagal’s hands and flew to the ground in front of James.
“Next time I tell you to do something you better do it.” Mulciber said before walking away from James. James looked around and saw thousands of eyes glaring at him. He looked over at the Slytherins and saw them laughing, mostly at Snape instead of him. He looked at Sirius and saw that all the laughter had left his face, in it’s place was shock.

Oh, that was really sad! Poor Jamesy!

Great post. I would like to say poor James, however, her deserved it. He never should have tried to keep them apart. Please post again soon. I don't think I can go another month without a post.

“Don’t waste your breath, James. I’m done with you.”
“How can you be done with me? I’m your brother!”
“Easy, I’m firing you.”
“You can’t fire me!”
“I believe I just did.”
“Yup, she just did.”
“Shut up, Peter.”
“Shutting.”
James, Mia, Lily, Keely, Peter, Remus, and Sirius were in the Gryffindor common room a week after the Quidditch match. Mia had finally recovered from her injuries. After Macnair had announced to the whole school what James had done, James hurried to the Hospital Wing to tell her what he did only find out the hard way that Mia was already up and walking so she heard the announcement. After hearing what Macnair said, Mia conjured some canaries and had them attack James (sound familiar? ). James was amazed that Mia actually knew that in first year until he remembered Lily was helping her with her classes.
“Mia how many times do I have to say I’m sorry?” asked James
“It’s too late, James.” answered Mia, “You had hundreds of chances to apologize! Come to think of it, I don’t even think I would even forgive you if you apologize when you saw me for the first time in the Hospital Wing.”
“That’s why I didn’t apologize! I knew you wouldn’t have forgiven me!”
“What you did was unforgivable.” said Lily
“Mind your own business, Evans!”
“No, she’s right, James. What you did was unforgivable. Why didn’t you just leave me and Severus alone?”
“Because, I didn’t think he was the right guy for you.”
“Who do you think in the right guy for me? Pretty boy, here?” Mia pointed at Sirius.
“No, I mean a guy who isn’t from Slytherin.”
“Whether I like a boy from Slytherin is my business, not yours.” Mia got up from her chair and went to the Girls Dormitory without even looking back.

“Who does he think he is?” Keely asked Lily and Mia the next day during breakfast.
“He’s always been butting in with what I’m doing with my life and now I’m just sick of it!” said Mia, “It’s my life and I’ll do whatever the h*ll I wanna do with it!”
“I’m not surprised with what he did!” said Lily, “Last year, he didn’t like me studying with Severus so James and Sirius thought it’d be funny to shove him into the lake.”
“Brothers.” Mia sighed angrily. She stood up from her seat and grabbed her book bag, “I’ll see you two later, I’ve got to get to class.” She turned around and accidentally bumped into someone, causing her book bag to swing and knock over a bowl of oatmeal. Mia and the boy fell over and the oatmeal fell beside them and sprayed a bit of oatmeal into Mia’s hair.
“Why do we keep meeting like this?” Mia asked the boy miserably.
“I don’t know.” said Severus. But you’ve got oatmeal in your hair.” He and Mia got off the floor and Mia pulled the small bits of oatmeal out of her hair. Almost everyone in the Great Hall were either staring at the two or laughing. Mia picked her bag off the floor and hurried out of the Great Hall in embarrassment. When she entered the Entrance Hall, she suddenly noticed that somebody was following her. She looked over her shoulder and saw that it was Severus.
“Are you following me?” asked Mia.
“I just wanted to say sorry for not meeting you by the lake that day.” said Severus, “Macnair and some other boys were distracting me from the time.”
“I’m not blaming this whole thing on you, Sev.” said Mia, “It was all James’ fault.”
“I know, but I feel more at fault. Is there any way I can make it up to you?”
Mia thought about it for a moment, “You can walk me to my next class. It’s Transfiguration.”
Severus smiled and nodded. Mia held out her hand, Severus took it, and they walked down the corridor together.
“So, does this mean we’re…?” asked Severus
“If you want us to be.” said Mia, smiling at him.

"I can't wait to see the look on Potter's face when he hears about this!" said Keely when Mia had told her, Lily, and Meg about her and Severus.
“Aren’t you two a bit young though?” asked Lily.
“Don’t worry Lily.” said Mia, “We’re taking it slow. The most we do is hold hands, study together, and hang out. We’re not like the gross kind of couples who make out in the corridors or something.”
“If you think that’s bad,” said Keely, “Wait until Valentine’s Day! That day is the worse!”
“It was pretty funny what happened to James, Remus, and Sirius.” said Meg
“What happened to them?” Mia eagerly asked.
“The Blonde crew gave those boys love potion but that plan backfired when we gave them our gifts.”
“Regular worms disguised as gummy worms.” said Lily, “And if the Blonde crew were smart enough how to make love potions, they would have known that chocolate is a cure for the stuff or they would have stopped us from giving the boys chocolate.”
An owl with a newspaper in its beak came over and dropped the newspaper on Meg’s plate. Meg put some coins into the change purse tied to its leg and it took off.
“I didn’t know you read the Daily Prophet.” said Keely.
“My mother has been sending me loads of news.” explained Meg as she held up the newspaper, “An owl comes for me three times a week so I put in a subscription to the Daily Prophet to shut her up.”
Meg stared at the front page for a moment and gasped loudly. Students around her stared at her but she ignored them.
“When my mother was talking about this man, I thought she was overreacting!”
“What is it?” asked Mia.
“A man called “He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is trying to take over the wizarding world and muggle world!”
“He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named?” asked Lily, confused.
“Lord Voldemort.”
Various things happened to the students listening in on the conversation; some flinched, hiccupped, coughed, dropped whatever they were holding, or shuddered.
“How long has he been trying to do this?” asked Lily.
“For a year now.” answered Meg, looking frightened
“My parents work at the Ministry and they’ve never told me or James about Voldemort!” said Mia.
“Maybe they haven’t told you, Mia.” said Meg, “But they might have told James. Maybe that’s why he’s been over protective of you about Severus.”
“Don’t be ridiculous, Meg.” said Lily
“You’re going to tell me with a straight face that Slytherin aren’t bad news? It’s been told that He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was in Slytherin. For all we know, there might be a secret recruiting sheet in the Slytherins common room to be part of his army.”
“An army?”
“You don’t expect him to just walk right into the Ministry of Magic full of Aurors by himself and tell the Minister to back down without an army? He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named alone may be a terrifying man and the most powerful wizard in the world but that’s not enough to take down the entire Ministry.”
“Where are you going?” Keely suddenly asked for Mia had just stood up and started to walk out the Great Hall.
“I’m going to find James.”

Chapter Eighteen – Reconcile

Mia found James in the Gryffindor common room sitting in one of the best couches staring into the fire. Mia approached him and sat down next to him. He didn’t even look at her or even show any sign that he knew she was there.
“James-“
“Let me guess,” said James, continuing on looking into the fire, “You’re gonna say that I’m one of the worst brothers in the whole universe and I’m a good for nothing moron.”
“Not exactly.” said Mia, “I just wanted to apologize.”
He looked at her with extreme shock on his face; obviously he hadn’t expected her to say this.
“What you did was unforgivable but I know now that you were just trying to protect me because of Slytherin’s reputation. That is the reason you did what you did wasn’t it?” she added, looking at him skeptically.
“Of course!” said James, “I’m you brother, Mia and I don’t want to see you get hurt. I just wanted to make sure that Snape wouldn’t hurt you in any way.”
“James, I kind of appreciate what you’re doing for me, but I can take care of myself. If Severus is the wrong guy for, I’ll just know it. Right now, I just want our relationship to work. If you want, you can still spy on me, but only at a far off distance and you can’t interfere unless I give the okay. Deal?”
James gave Mia a sheepish smile. “Deal.” He frowned and looked back into the fire.
“What’s wrong?” asked Mia
“I just can’t believe you’re forgiving me so easily!” he said, frustrated, “I almost got you killed.”
“I’d appreciate it if you tried not to do that again.” said Mia, smiling.
“This isn’t a joke!” James said in a serious tone, “I got you into the hospital because of some grudge. You deserve a better brother than me.” he buried his face into his hands and silently cried. Mia put her arms around her big brother and hugged him.

James, Mia, Sirius, Remus, Keely, Peter, Meg, and Lily stayed during the Christmas holidays. To Sirius’ chagrin, Regulas stayed during the holidays too. He had been complete torture to the group.
“If he ever calls me a filthy blood traitor one more time, I’ll kill him!” Sirius said one day to the group in the almost empty Gryffindor common room.
“You need to control your anger.” said Meg as she performed yoga behind the couch, “You could try yoga, or maybe even meditating.”
“Thanks, but no thanks.” said Sirius.
‘Just think about how close we are to the end of the holidays,” said Keely as she and Remus played wizards chess, “Once the holidays are over, Regulas will bother other people and be with his friends.”
“That’s not going to change anything.” said Sirius, “I gotta deal with him at home too and I can hardly sneak out of the house because my folks are insane and Kreacher is well. He’ll rat me out”
“Kreacher does seem like a little bugger.” said Mia as she drew on her sketchpad.

The group ate their Christmas dinner at the Gryffindor table with Remus’ sister Sylvia and her friends. They didn’t mind younger kids hanging out with them. Mia repeatedly touched her new locket whenever she had the chance.
“Why do you keep touching your new locket?” asked Meg.
“I got it from my parents; I just miss them that’s all. I should probably send them a letter and tell them how things are doing.”
“How did they react when you told them about you and Severus?” asked Lily.
When Mia remained silent, Lily immediately understood. “You didn’t tell them?”
“Well, James’ over protectiveness had to have come from somewhere.” said Mia, “My mother will probably say that I’m way to young to be somebody’s girlfriend and my dad will seriously freak out and set our dog on Sev like a certain somebody did to him a few years ago.” Everybody looked at James.
“I was a kid!” he said.
“You’re joking, Potter!” Mia turned around in her seat and saw Regulas with a smirk on his face, “You mean you and Snape are actually together?”
“Shove off Reggie.” said Sirius.
“I told you never to call me that!” he said, his cheeks turning pink.
“Regulas, don’t you have to be a git somewhere else?” asked Lily.
Regulas pretended to think, “No, I don’t think so Mudblood.”
Mia quickly stood up, glaring at Regulas. “You better take that back.”
“Evans is a filthy mudblood.” Regulas said slowly and clearly. Mia raised her fist and Regulas ran out of the Great Hall. Mia followed him, hot on his trail. Mia chased him through the corridors until she finally pounced on him and punched him in the face. Regulas put his hands up to his bloody nose and yelled out in pain.
“Be grateful,” said Mia, “I was actually thinking about breaking your arm.”
“POTTER!”
Mia got off of Regulas and saw Professor McGonagle looking at her in horror.
“I’ve never seen such behavior! Shame on you, Potter. 50 points from Gryffindor and a week of detention in my office starting tomorrow night!”

Chapter Nineteen – Mia Gets Detention
“I seriously can’t believe you got detention tomorrow, Mia.” said James, “It looks like I’m rubbin’ off on ya!”
“I guess you’re doomed in the future then, Mia.” said Keely, playing Wizard’s chess with Remus.
“So what are you doing for detention?” asked Lily
“I have to clean the trophy room.” said Mia
“That doesn’t sound so bad.”
“Without magic.”
“Ooh, that’s rough. buddy.” said Sirius
“And Filch is watching me do it, too! That guy is so creepy!”
“Just ignore him,” said Peter, “He’s just bitter because nobody here follows his stupid rules.”
“I don’t exactly blame him for being so angry.” said Meg, “If I had just finished cleaned the floors after hours of scrubbing and some little bugger came in and tracked mud all over the place, I’d be pretty peeved too.”
“That’s because you’re a chick.” said a fifth year boy nearby.
“Would a ‘chick’ stab a fifteen-year-old idiot with her piercing equipment?” asked Jennifer, not looking up from her book.
The fifth year chuckled and looked back at his work. The group could have sworn they had heard him call Jennifer a ‘Goth freak’. Jennifer ignored him
“You do your own piercings?” asked Peter
“Yup. I gotta get it done somehow.”
“Doesn’t it hurt or get infected?”
“Not if you’ve been doing it as long and as much as I have. I have a friend from a piercing shop that taught me how to do it correctly.”
“Can we please get back to my detention problem please?” asked Mia, “I don’t know how McGonagall expects me to get all those trophies cleaned, without magic I remind you, before curfew!”
“Maybe you could sneak a little magic here and there when Filch isn’t looking.” said Sirius
“I would if I could, but Filch will be keeping my wand at the time. McGonagall also told me all the other things I have to do for the rest of the week! Tomorrow I clean the trophy room, Wednesday I have to scrub the floors, Thursday I’m helping Hagrid tend to the sick animals for that Care of Magical creatures class, Friday I’m helping Sprout with her plants, Saturday I’m gutting frogs for Slughorn, Sunday I’m cleaning the bedpans for the Hospital Wing, and on Monday she’s having me do lines because she feels that I would be too tired to do anything else after doing all those things! I have to do all of that just because I punched out Regulas!”
“That’s insane!” said Jennifer
“The rule for no fighting must be a pretty big rule.” said Remus
