here is more of the story i combined the first part and the new part to make it flow better

Chapter 10 - Inquisition Part 1

“By order of the Minister Of Magic William Lambert all persons within ministry control as defined by Article 15-a will submit to general census, All Persons refusing to do so will submit themselves to inquisition by the High Inquisitors Office. A expedient response as defined by Article 14-a is demanded of all citizens wishing to avoid inquisition, imprisonment, or death.

Newly appointed Officers for the Department of General Census will compile the information provided where upon further dissection The Ministry will by appointment of your Minister create offices to protect and better serve the British Magical Community.

It is the hope of this Ministry to restore our grand culture to its glory that our ancestors would find befitting our station. All true citizens of this Ministry are promised by the Ministry of Magic William Lambert that justice will prevail”

Cassie stared at the parchment that lay on the marble breakfast table wondering the meaning of it. Attached to the opening statement is pages of finely hand printed words defining nearly every word of its opening words. Cassie found the definition even more confusing and finally gave up glancing instead at the three page questionnaire at the back that included questions such as parental background to even where someone buys groceries.

Lucius sat at the head of the table reading the Daily Prophet absentmindedly pushing his sausage around his plate while Narcissa talked about the weather. Every so often Lucius would look up and grunt in agreement to a comment by Narcissa. Draco had chosen to take his breakfast in the library with James and Randolfus. All three of her prospective husbands in one room together discussing who knows what. Cassie did not want to know.

“Madam,” Cassie finally said “ Am I to fill one of these too?”

Without looking up from his paper Lucius rather boredly replied “you live in this household so you will need to answer the questionnaire. We would not want the High Inquisitor to learn of our guests would we.”

“Don’t worry,” Narcissa replied quietly while placing her hands over Cassie’s “ I will fill out yours. The Dark Lord has specific instructions about your information.”

“Then he knows about the questionnaire?” Cassie asked without thinking.

Narcissa looked at Lucius who for the first time looked up from his paper. “He commanded it be sent out” Narcissa replied cautiously.

Cassie again spoke without checking in with her brain. “I don’t understand he comanded it I thought the Minister did. That Lambert guy that was in the paper the other….”

“STOP!” Lucius shouted with surprising calmness “ you are not privileged to your Fath.. The Dark Lord’s Matters. Eat your breakfast and ask no more questions. “

Cassie opened her mouth to speak however Lucius had beat her to it.

“I’ll not have another word on this matter. Do you understand!” Lucius said forcibly.

“And you Father will remember your place in this house” Draco said having just arrived in the conservatory. “Her Father our Dark Lord entrusted her to our home, an honor as you yourself have put it, and we will treat her as a guest not a prisoner. Or do you wish to tell the Dark Lord how you have repeatedly berated his only child, the last in the Slytherin bloodline?”

Lucius sat back visibly sunk. Cassie had seen her father humiliate Lucius and even Narcissa snapped at him however she had never heard Draco speak to his father as he just had.

Draco turned to Narcissa and asked “ We have guests will you and Cassandra please entertain us?”

“Of course” Narcissa replied while rising from the table and turning to Cassie “Will you join me?” she waited for Cassie to rise and walked toward the door and turned to her husband and said “ Will you join us, Husband?”

There was an awkward silence in which Lucius did not break eye contact with Draco. Finally he stood tossing his paper on the table and following behind Draco with Narcissa at his side. Cassie followed beside Draco but did not take his arm he offered. The Malfoys and Cassie walked into the library.

Hey Adelaide. This was great. I don't blame her for wanting to ask questions. And Lucius better remember his place. His pride is so huge, it's hard for him to swallow. I love your story, and I think it's written very smooth. No problems understanding it, and it all fits together great. I'll be watching for your next post. (And on a side note I have read the other also, just haven't had time to send you a reply yet, but it's great. Kinda thrilling.)
