What is it with me seriously, Phantom?

I have literally thought you had disappeared, anyways; Well, see...my sister has been spending quite a few weekends with me for the past two months. All is due to...a sad event in our lives. Abue, our grandma died. You have no idea how difficult it is for us, meaning all the grandchildren are having a hard time dealing with it, especially Paloma. She really grew closer to her...even though she's younger, but you know little children. They are quite unique. Going back to the story...Paloma likes to paint, thus making her search for paper, quills, anything where she could express herself...

And I literally thought she had found you. Imagine the panic; she finding it and showing it to mum. quite...awful isn't it? Anyways, I saw one of your covers hanging around her little room, that's why I had that...feeling.

Let me tell you the big news from the past two weeks. The team was on practice, one day away from a BIG BIG GAME, an exciting game that would bring me to the big leagues. Something HAD to happen, she...that girl, my competition since camp bumped into me and made me stumble, fall and probably faint, because I can barely remember what happened after I fell on the ground.

I have spent the last two weeks, missing probably a quite numerous chance to play soccer and have fun. But nothing has been SO bad. It has given me and Drew a chance to take our trips, the ones we have missed for our hectic school, practice and everyday schedule. At least, we have talked about what we want...

Like him: He wants a motorcycle. That was exact reaction when he asked for it. And we made a deal, if I got that discount to buy the motorcycle, he'd get a puppy. IMAGINE THAT, a puppy...I asked for a schnawzer. I promised that even though I'll be around practices, I'll carry him around with me. Drew said it wasn't necessary, but I think he feels that something likewise is going to happen.

Anyways, we've really spend our time together, and now we have no intention of being apart from each other. It's going to be difficult, now that I'm going back to practices and matches...

SIGH.

And again I lost you. I think this distance was caused by the moving into Drew's apartment. I can barely check what's around the boxes and what is now in some drawers where we tend to keep our private possessions. Although, you're not quite that private anymore, since I tend to tell Drew all about everything going on in my life. I know it has kept me from...telling you what bothers me lately.

Thing number one: Not so long ago, I went to Córdoba. At a friend's party, I came to see Roberto, the guy that I dated a couple of times when I was thirteen, remember? So, he started to say that he missed me. I didn't freak out, since I thought it was kind of weird considering more than 6 years have passed. But once I got back home, he started calling...one after another. It started to really put me nervous, since by then I was on the first days of living with Drew. By the way, as normally...any boyfriend would get upset if a past and very annoying boy would try to talk to HIS girlfriend, so it all ended up with Drew and I going to Córdoba to make sure that he didn't call me again, make clear that I won't ever break up with Drew... So far, it has...worked a bit.

Second: Have I become some kind of monster? It's just a question. I don't know...I just tend to burst out sometimes, and end up hurting some people. I just hope the answer to the question is no.

Third: I take it as good news, though impediment to be with Drew, which obviously makes me sad; it is the fact that I now belong to a professional soccer club, and I play a couple of times during the week, I spend 13 hours per day with Isabelle, doing interviews and being enclosed at her office.

Now I'm thinking that I complain too much. But as for now...things are going how they're supposed to. I mean, last week for Christmas, Drew got to meet my family and I got to meet his. It became such a special moment in our lives as a couple, seeing the big differences between our cultures.

And the question arised again...when will we get married?

June....Almost July.

So, big news, Phantom. I am engaged. Sometimes, I still cannot believe it. But I wake up every day, since that beautiful night, and when I see his face smiling at me, there is no way that this is just a dream. Drew had actually talked to my parents before he proposed to me. That, Phantom, sure took a lot of courage, considering my parents were a little awkward about us living together now. But mom and dad gave their blessing, and he just did it...

It was May the 7th, 8 PM...or so. He reserved a very private, though visible to everyone in the restaurant table, and after eating this whole bunch of spaguetti and drank some wine, he ordered the dessert. Chocolate cake for me, and lemon pie for him. To my surprise, the piece of cake looked like the whole itself. I felt like I couldn't eat it...I felt gross, considering I was put into a diet those days, and Isabelle and my coach would kill me if I went through all that eating in just one night, but anyways...Though the middle of my unending bite of the cake, I felt something weird in my tongue, a rock attached to a ring. When I pulled it out, Drew just smiled wide, took the ring off my hand and bent his knees before me, and asked the magic question. Obviously I said yes. I mean, I want to spend the rest of my life with him. I hugged him soooo tight, and said YES so many times in about three different languages, that everyone around just laughed, clapped at our happiness. It was the most wonderful night of my life...

So, from the week after that I haven't stopped thinking what dress, shoes...all the list of things for weddings that is needed. Lucky for me, I have mom and Isabelle. They are sort of thinking for me, but I call the shots. I say if I like it or not.

The bad news are...my broken leg. It happened while I played semi-finals. I wish not to even remember that day. It was painful, and spazzy. I'm still not clear on how it really happened, anyways. I had surgery, two days ago, and I hope that I go back to playing soon, and along with planning my wedding, this will be sure a hectic year.
