Sept 1st.

My dear Phantom:

So….we’re back in Córdoba. It’s been a week since then; my time comes to be limited as I am preparing for next week’s first day back in school. That and I had training most of the week. What’s with the coaches? Did they not have a fun and relaxing break? The team got seriously sore from all the extra exercise and kicks around the soccer field, not mentioning this bump in my head caused by a soccer ball wrongly shot by one of my team mates, Loretta. We got the smallest chance to complain, but one true reason they gave us is that the international cup tournament is set for two weeks from now, and we must focus on training and of course, don’t be lazy at school at all. No good grades, no game; that’s a rule.

Mom and I still make fun of Copito not willing to come back home. He got too spoiled there, mentioning the delicious and fresh milk he got everyday and petting from all children from the family. But, you know me, Phantom…I would die if that little ball of fur didn’t come back with me. Who would be my company at Hogwarts while I made friends? And who would be there to take care of me and me to take care of? I love him too much to let him go, that’s a truth.

As I talk about family, I shall celebrate grandma is coming to stay with us for a while, then we all shall get gathered at my Aunt Maria’s house for Christmas. At least Em and I aren’t such arguments now; have we become more mature? Maybe… Let’s just hope so. And let's just hope he isn't drooling around too much like in Mexico; he seriously looked hilarious.

Sandra, Rocco and I went last weekend after soccer practice to a soda fountain, seeing as they fixed their argument saying it was childish of both to think they’ve been talking about each other behind their backs. Yes…that was the weird thing happening, though I suspected more. Hmm.

So, it’s a fact. I’m ready for Hogwarts; everything is set, even my room at the Saenz Residence. That was confirmed by Diana and Aunt Maria as we talked more about the subject while in Mexico. It’s just one more year and since I’m going to England during Christmas, I shall ask Emiliano more about the castle and its many tricks and professors. Even, I might get to visit that place they call Diagon Alley, just as training for my shopping and even a chance to have an advance on it.

Oh, well…time to fly off and to have sweet dreams. It’s midnight and I’m writing; what a shame! Though, I admit it was fun to wake up in the middle of my sleep and tell you about what’s happened lately.

PHANTOM!

Today, September 3rd...is my birthday, my thirteenth birthday. Gulp. You know, I don't feel as expected, older. I still feel like a child in training of becoming what I am supposed to be now, a teenager. Yet, I enjoyed the day. My description shall be short, though; since my family will be downstairs waiting for me to go eat dinner, maybe in that restaurant where they serve the most delicious chocolate cake I had ever tasted in my life, and which I eat every weekend, maybe two pieces each visit. Hehe. Don't judge...I eat a lot.

First of all, I recieved calls from most of my classmates and friends and at school lost of hugs and a little surprise awaited me. A cake was thrown at my face. We almost made a war there, but we were quickly interrupted by the prefect. Ugh...that woman is driving me nuts. She doesn't let us have a little fun. But at the end of the classes, we continued the celebration with my friends at the park. They sang to me Las Mañanitas, or the Happy Birthday song in Spanish. I just love the long version of it...it is sooo sweet.

Then, I came back home; my hair filled with cake cream. Mom made me take a shower and after that, we had a little strange chat. She was recommending me to ballet lessons. Eh...wHAT??? That...impossible. I am a soccer player, not a Mozart nor Beethoven, nor Tchai...I forgot how to spell his last name, though he wrote the music for The Nutcracker. Ugh...and seriously: I can't tip-toe! I have two left foot...haha...I know you don't believe me. Not even myself. So, that discussion ended with a round NO and mom got a little menace into my head, no soccer. She is mean...I don´t know why the sudden change of humour and motherly love, though. She was supposed to understand that kicking a ball in a soccer field is like the only passion I have, even above magic, even above school. Let's just hope the idea comes out of her head soon.

Copito has been a lot spoiled. He still bites the end of the bed sheets and my jeans. He is getting weird, I can say. But still...I love him. And I know that as you and I, he can't wait for our Hogwarts days. Let's hope he doesn't bite nor scratch anyone. He did that to Ulises yesterday, scratch his hand because he tried to hold it while our walk around the park. I need to talk more about him later...I will miss him.

Well, I am off...and I will tell you more about my day tomorrow or in two days. Week has been extremely busy with chemistry and languages homework. I need to learn twenty more verbs in French in the next ten hours...

Okay, here lies a special entry...just before Annie parted to England for the Christmas vacations to the Saenz Residence.


December 13th, 2069

I know, I know. It’s been a while. Actually, three months, and I’m sorry. But things around the Muggle world aren’t exactly so great to write about it on you. First, school just keeps me right busy on my homework and many essays to do. I never imagined myself writing so many essays in such a young age I am now, thirteen. Everything since my birthday has been way too boring, except Copito, Sandy, Rocco and of course, Ulises.
He keeps taking me out of the sudden to either Rizzo’s or to a walk around the parks, trying to get day by day the trust of Copito, who seems to not like him at all, yet is holding himself to not scratch his hands or even the face if Ulises tries to hold my hand. It’s hilarious to see Copito’s nose wrinkle whenever that happens.
Rocco and Sandy come around as often as possible, warning me about forgetting them. Me…doing that such horrible thing to them? No way! They are and will be the best friends and persons I ever met in my life, which I thank God I did when I was little. They actually taught me how to defend myself from bullies. Not that I am one now, but at least no one gets to mess with me after I joined the soccer team. Beware of the Cannon; I shall say whenever we start a game.
In a about a week, my parents and I will take the trip to Highcliff, to where the Saenz live. There, during the weekend, they will hold a party at the residence. Of course, Emiliano invited his friends, older people. I can stick to the Christmas Special Cartoons from the TV shows. They are always fun, right? And while that, I could eat a lot of cake, turkey and that hot sauce Aunt Maria prepares every time a party is on. It is delicious. No wonder I have such a hard to please taste for food; the women from my family love to cook and it looks like it’s their natural job.
So, as for this week, being on break and all, I can start preparing my luggage to take to the Saenz’s. Mom suggests me to take some extra to start on the moving, yet it is way too sad to think. I might consider it…

My dear Phantom...

Here lies the smallest chat we'll have about a party and as I speak, I hope you don't disappear, completely noticing I was boring and weird.

That night, let's say. Was tremendously weird. Yes, I indeed had fun, meeting only by name some of Em's friends, and I hope them to meet them soon when I arrive to Hogwarts, though I know barely who of them will graduate and who will be able to stand me.

It started with Em, going all odd trying to fix his clothes, to match, to make him feel not to cold nor look, as the party was to be held at the room which is open window at the side of the Saenz Residence. Obviously, he was expecting Karma around, though I don't know if she appeared there or not. I'll tell you my reasons in a few lines or so.

And it continued with Diana, gladly taking magical medication to stop her allergies and be able to stand my poor Copito for those days. If not, imagine it...seeing Di all puffy like and her eyes to the point of crying all the time. I have to admit it'd be hilarious to see, but it also would kill her, so...I appreciate, thank her effort for coping with me and the kitten for that week. I love her for that matter, in some terms. Though, she was always in her weird bossy mood, fixing all dinner and making sure that both her and Em's party that night worked out just fine.

She prepared perfect servings for both heldings. As for what I can remember, we had perfectly cutted edges sandwiches, turkey, ham, cake, pie...and lots and lots of fruit punch to enjoy at the young ones party. As for hers, they had almost the same, just with firewhisky and some others I can't even pronounce the name of...

Both the parties seemed, fun. Though I preferred, of course being at Em's. His music got fun, playing old records and dancing around for a bit. Then, as this normal thirteen year old and my kitten, we were falling as asleep there. HORROR! I hated that. I had to go to bed, early...AGH.

Though, I gotta tell you, my Phantom...I met two of Em's friends, their names were Torin and Reese. I hope I remember their names, if not...you're so allowed to throw this page into my face and remind me of them...So, Torin's this cute, tall guy who seems to know how to have fun, right? And Reese. Hehe, I kind of sensed something had happened between Em and her, yet..I am so mean I can ask Diana or even Em, and I can get an answer if they get too nervous about it. I mean, why would she wear a bracelet that I had only seen once in my life in my grandma's store, huh?

That...was weird...


As I told you, party was fun. A blast, though it got ruined for me thanks to my little sleeping schedule.

For right now, I'm back home...middle of March. I know...again, I've missed three months of no writing to you, but you know school seems priority to have a good record in Muggle School and be able to just slip right into Hogwarts without any trouble.

I can't wait...

Well, as for that matter, I shall say Disappear and let my secrets not be told.

May 3rd.

The time to leave is coming. I just don't know how all this will make me feel at the end, though. For one part, I'm so excited, can't wait til the first day at school inside Hogwarts, have all those many friends, learn and enjoy what I've been told about the place. Though for the other part, you know my phantom, I am sad to leave Córdoba.

The many things I'll leave here, like soccer, my only passion in this life; my friends Rocco, Sandy and Ulises and everyone from the school I attend; and mostly, above everything are my parents. My mom, the person I'll mostly miss and need her advice from time to time. I believe there is a tie now. Decision has been made, though. In less than a month, I'll be there with Diana and Emiliano, who is just about to graduate, and by September enter the school as a fourth year.

Muchever they wanted to keep it secret, my friends want to throw me a party to say bye, not a goodbye..just a bye, right? I got to know the little secret after Sandy just decided to blow me off a meeting about the soccer team players. I had no other option to just go apart from the group, though later I found them at this mall buying some special ornaments for an event like that. I am not sure though...I don't wanna get my hopes up...hehe.

So, this is like lateee...almost midnight and I'm writing! Oh goodness...

*pets Annie* I feel sorry for her, regarding all the things she'll miss. But we'll just have to help her make new friends at Hogwarts, aren't we? But yay possible party!

So Annie and Adrienne'll both be at Hogwarts for only one term, but then maybe Annie's gonna have to meet Grayson. Even though she'll be two years younger than Annie.

So, I had this BIG inspiration moment and for you guys, Annie wrote this on Phantom.

Diagon Alley. Whoa!

Yes, whoa. Well, my Phantom, time to describe to you the most amazing, yet also the most crowded place on the Wizard World after the Quidditch World Cup event. Yes, I went to the championship game, and guess what, England won. Not a surprise. The game was really exciting, fun and so thrilling. I felt goosebumps everytime the snitch was catched, every goal made. I think I've found a match for soccer in my heart. Or just a new hobby to add to the list. Exciting hobby, by the way.

Let's carry on. Diagon Alley is the central of shopping to Wizards and Witches. It has always been, even way before history was written, perhaps. Just exaggerating, but I've heard the place has been there for a really long time. Okay. So, Diagon Alley has these amazing shops, like Honeydukes(candy shop), Florean Fortescue's(ice cream parlor), Weasley's Wizard Wheezes (JOKE SHOP, amazing...), Ollivanders'(Wand shop, I shall tell you about my new pretty wand later) and a lot more. The place itself, it's filled every centimeter with magic, excitement and a lot of new people to meet.

Like Torin. Yes...I saw Torin again. He's Emilano's friend, cute, tall and curly haired. And talking about his hair, I made a huge mess with it. I felt such a klutz, I was a KLUTZ. Ugh. So, it started with this dribbling the little toy soccer ball, me reaching the goal of thirty with no interruptions (So far, no goal reached) . I had a super-sticky lollipop inside my mouth, by the way. Emiliano is the guilty one, he shouldn't have left his candy box to my reach at the kitchen. So, back to the story, I was this close to get to the twenty-ninth dribbling when bam, the ball just flew too high and when coming back down (effects of Gravity) hits the lollipop stick and makes it fly out of my mouth directly towards Torin's hair. I immediately went to apologize, seriously. At first, I hadn't recognized Torin, but after a few more words exchanged, we both realized we had met at Emiliano's party last Christmas. And there was Livvy, a friend of Torin. She seemed, curious...inquisitive and very enthusiastic. She was sure fun to talk to, only if it was for a bit of time.

Ooh, and as I walked towards Honedukes, you know...the candy shop, I met Lucy. Eeeh!! We're like total opposites, yet so hyper at the same time, I think. It all started when her little pretty PINK (EWWW) feathery pen got lost, and she was searching for it crawling on the floor. So, I so the pen inside the trash can and told her. She was desperate, Phantom. I tell you, desperate. Poor Lucy...that pen must have meant something special for her. I think she might have mentioned belonging to her mother or something. So, as I tried to reach for the feathery pen into the trash can, she stopped me and told me to reach for hand sanitizer. There you have us, talking about personal hygiene. Eek. Not my forte, but we both agreed that Pine cleaner is amazing. Hehe. We headed to Honeydukes and there I won't tell you the story, I went nuts inside that place buying a lot of candy. We dismissed each other. I hope I get to see Lucy again at Hogwarts. Yep.

Then, I took my trip around the shops directly to Florean Fortescue's, to wait for Di. She took too long, but only it was because she had this misunderstanding with a man at the Muggle Market on the whole different languages and stuff. But anyways. If you were a person, you'd love that ice cream parlor. It has an ordering section, where you see this panel telling you the many flavours they have. Delicious, they all sounded. But I took three scoops of Lemon Drop ice cream. I was really thirsty, you know. So, I stayed inside for a while and there I met Lori. She was sure a joy to talk to, although the way she dresses. TOTALLY DIFFERENT TO ME. I mean, sundresses, Prada purse, nice shoes, and this smell to that fruity perfume that tends to always enchant a person.Lori, another person to look forward as I install myself in school.

But then, I had to make a huge embarrassing moment to happen. Hmpph. As I walked towards the outside of Florean Fortescue's, one of the ice cream scoops fell onto the floor and I tripped! I recieved a serious headbump and I think it still hurts when I touch the back of my head. But anyways...I didn't tell you that I met this cute guy at the ordering section. Well, him...he's my hero, in a way. As soon as I fell, he went to ask if I was okay, more than once. His name is Drew, Andrew Sparks. He's from Munich, Germany and he has this lovely sweet little eyes and smile. OH, dear...what a smile. We had a long talk til I had this desperate feeling Di would not be there soon. So, I had to say ...bye and see you later. Til then, Drew...Sigh.

I headed towards Ollivanders. There I got my new wand. I shall describe it to you later. I feel like too tired to talk to you about wand types and the huge problem I had choosing one after all these years of using dad's. Afterwards, I went to the closest place to the Muggle World, the Leaky Cauldron. There at the courtyard I met, again..Shana. She and I had met also at Em's party, though she seemed different and talked about this boy, Fyo her friend who was not coming back. Poor Shana. I know missing someone like that is pretty awful. I have this goal to cheer her up during the year.

So, Diana finally showed up. She explained the whole deal I wrote you about and from there, we went home to take care of my head and the groceries. We went to do the real school shopping a day later. Whee...now, I think I'm ready for Hogwarts. Yep, I am.

Til after the first day of school, you my phantom disappear.

September...first day at Hogwarts.

Finally, this day arrived. And you probably know, or not...since you're just a bunch of paper clinged to a cover and disappears by my will...anyways, back to my story, the story of my happiness: I'm sooo happy to be here at Hogwarts. This day is the most amazing that could ever happen in my life, besides that championship game in Barcelona three months ago.

And so, I tell you about this last week:

The next day from the whole accident one, I arrived back to Diagon Alley to end the shopping. And it ended with my books, at Flourish and Blott's where I saw Torin again for the second time. Sigh. I wish I could have not written that...but it's true, he's cute. Though, he must NEVER know, or I'd be so dead...screwed. And that, is not going good with my image of tough girl I'm trying to portray, and so far these past three years, it has gone great. Since I am...except when I read, which is when I go totally sentimental. So, Torin and I went our separate ways, me back home, the Saenz Residence. I must get used to call it home now, since Em, somehow is becoming quite a help with tip notes around the house about the whole Hogwarts and its surroundings. I think I'm beginning to miss him. O______________________o

The Sunday morning before I came to the castle, mom arrived bringing Copito with her and some of my clothes, my soccer equipment and an owl, my dad's welcoming to the magic world present. I will name him Mice. or Ratoncito, whichever sounds weirder. Diana was not pleased with it, but we kept the distance between the animals and her enough to not make her sick. Geez, that women seriously needs something to calm her nerves up...

DAD. Oh geez, I will miss him loads. And too bad I didn't get to see him that Sunday, too bad he was already at his Hispanic Ministry of Magic job, taking a nice seat with the whole security staff there. Dad...te quiero. ILY. *tear dropped on the sheet of paper*

The train, the Hogwarts Express. Wow. Best trip ever in my whole life. I talked to Cedric, a boy I accidently threw a spoon onto his hair, making him scream like a little girl and whom, very bossy he thought he was, wanted a thousand galleons and me, to serve him as a slave. Haha...such the laugh. I will never be the servant of a boy, NEVER!!! I also met Georgie, a girl who is the samely obsessed with candy bars, though equal to both me and Copito, imagine that. LOL. I got to see Drew again...*sigh* and we had a brief chat, just because my kitten began to purr and glare towards him. Geez...that kitten needs a therapy...but I love him...I hope he understands soon.

Now, I'm here...at the Great Hall, and I have just been placed in Ravenclaw, like Emiliano. It looks good, though I don't think I'm that smart...just so you know. And...

We'll definitely get our two girls to meet soon.

Anyway . . . I still love Copito. And her owl's name amuses me either way. And her thinking Torin's cute. Adrienne does too, but she fights it.
