So the term's drawing to close which can only mean that it's soon time for the end of term feast and the train to come, which is awesome since I'm super exciting to be going back to Los Angeles to help my friends out with the whole rebuilding of the school. That wasn't exactly how I intended to spend my summer but.. at least I still have Diagon Alley to look forward to since I've got old friends to see and Hogwarts friends to talk to and see what they did during their summer.

Finally it's the end of term! Ah this is what I have waited for for the past few weeks; both school exams and OWLs are done with so now I can just relax for a little while before flying back to Los Angeles when I get off the train. As much as I love spending time in London over the summer, I have to go back home so that I can meet my friends and get to work on the old school; at least I get to come back to Diagon Alley in August unfortunately that happens to be with Raven since she is rather adamant on escorting me around. Whatever, I'm not going to waste my time arguing with her since.. she doesn't exactly listen to me anyway.

Have you ever had one of those days when your parents decide to randomly tell you something that's nearly impossible to believe? That was my day today, my mom and my dad told me that I have a brother now; I was just like whoa.. okay when did that happen and why are you just telling me this now? My little brother Addison seems like a cool little dude for an 8 year old, but I really don't know if I can let this all sink in quite yet. Maybe in a couple of days, I'd be more willing to accept the fact that I'm an older brother to someone now but right now.. I just need to head down to the beach and think about everything.

After this whole situation at home, it seems like being in Los Angeles right now is not the best idea for me since I cannot really focus on much so I owled Raven about coming here to take me to Diagon Alley; even though I know having her around is going to be a bad idea when I'm trying to meet new people but I can handle her nonsense now since it really is not that difficult to tune out anymore. I don't want Addison to think that this is his fault in any way, it isn't; I have every right to be a little frustrated with my parents for not telling that they had adopted a little boy earlier on.

Maybe when I get back from London again, things will be better. Since I'm still planning on going back home to talk to my friends there before I can't until Christmas I don't even know if I'm going home then either, it's too soon to even consider that since it's only July. But you never know really, something could happen to make me reconsider everything.

It seems like the summer is just flying by, I mean with the drama back home in Los Angeles and catching up with friends in London; I really haven't had the time to do what I originally planned which sucks since it definitely was going to be awesome. At least Raven's seemed to stop making comments whenever I'm talking to people, as odd as it seems though I am quite suspicious about that since it really just came out of the blue and knowing my cousin as well as I do; usually when she starts acting like this either she's planning something or she's distracted by someone (which does happen frequently). But really, I just don't want to deal with anymore stupidity.

I don't know what the new thing with me embarrassing myself while meeting new people, it seems to be happening a lot lately like when I ran into someone walking through Diagon Alley and ended up knocking them over; it's not like I care so much since accidents do happen.

With the summer being practically over, I have to get back to packing for Hogwarts; 6th year for me and after getting my OWL results, it's increasingly evident that I should take Muggle Studies once again. Not because I did poorly, it's quite the opposite after having earned an Outstanding on the exam which wasn't what I was expecting but I digress.. I think the biggest news now for me would have to be finally getting an owl, a Eurasian Eagle owl to be specific; her name is Gidget and for everyone who doesn't know what that means.. it's taken from the surfing world. She's a little feisty and seems to have an issue with other owls but hopefully that changes before the train comes.

I think that attempting to fly on a broomstick will be happening this term, ever since the accident I haven't been able to even consider the idea of flying again but I'm not going to let fear hold me back from going back to possibly even playing Quidditch again. It's really one step at a time if I want to stop being afraid of flying.

A couple days already into the term and so far it's been interesting, at the start of term feast; there was the usual commotion going on at the Slytherin table but what was weird was seeing the house elves and their apologies for having the silverware in such a bad state. Now, for those who don't know; I care for creatures of all kinds but never have I seen a house elf act in such a strange manner.. apparently I'm not the only one who thinks there's something strange going on here but I definitely need to investigate for myself since I need to know the truth. Speaking of strange things going on, I could have sworn that I was seeing things when I noticed Stella talking to the professors; I had thought that she was at Beauxbatons but I was wrong apparently..

Seems like this term is going to be busy for me..

Just when I thought that Hogwarts was going to be normal for once, some decrees have appeared among the fact the rumors of the Divination professor have been still bouncing around the school; there had to be a dance class taught by the Groundskeeper. Not that I'm opposed to dance in any form, however this just seemed a little odd.. I mean, having to dance a waltz with a girl I literally had just met five seconds before was a bit uncomfortable for me. Was it a disaster? In my mind, somewhat. I keep wondering if I should have asked Stella to dance, but at the same time it might have been trouble since I would have probably forgotten how to dance and yeah. But, I do think that idea still could happen.. so as long as I really don't end up distracted.

November 1st, 2075

I wasn't wrong when I said this term was going to be busy for me, first I had the mysteries and decrees to try to understand which hasn't been going well mainly because of the fact I don't want to spend forever trying to comprehend something that at this point seems rather frustrating. Then I got an owl from my dad telling me that my mom was in hospital so that meant that I had to either stay at the school and try to focus on school work (which wasn't going to happen.) or I would have to leave for a couple days and head back home. Well, it's rather obvious I chose the latter because I was really worried that something bad was going to happen here and I didn't want to find out by owl. At least things got better with her so it left me more time to get back to trying to balance some kind of social life with my homework; speaking of that.. I honestly never thought that I'd be trying to work through a massive pile of work, at least Stella offered to help me out since I would be here forever otherwise. But of course, that means that I'll help her out with possibly Ancient Runes since I know that that's one of my better subjects at times.

I knew it was a bad idea to take the Hate Potion but I wanted to help Stella out and originally I just thought that it was all well and good to help out a friend with homework but now that I look back and remember exactly what I had said to her, I can't help but think that was all unnecessary. I mean, I made her cry for merlin's sake! Making someone cry is not something I'm used to and I never want to have it happen again since it just made me feel way too bad. Potion or not, I ended up saying things that were all lies.. more like something that Raven would say to someone. Did I screw up my chances at something than just friendship with her? More than likely, I have to just sit here and collect my thoughts before I find her so I can apologize. The next question here is if she's going to actually accept my apology since I was a total fool.

So it's been about two weeks since the whole hate potion situation and I got to speak with Stella finally, I mean it's hard enough dealing with a social life on top of homework but to not be able to talk to someone you really care about for what seemed like forever; well that's not quite simple. At least it seems like things have somewhat gotten back to normal with us, as normal as it can be after having to go through such nonsense and frustration which I'm done talking about merely because it's not exactly helping me to stop thinking about it if I keep talking about it. The fact that Christmas is soon approaching is definitely exciting since I get to go back home for the holidays and just forget the drama and stupidity that had happened in the first part of the term.. speaking of which, I have to make sure that I send Gidget off with a little present for a certain Ravenclaw before I forget since that wouldn't be good at all. Well, this should pretty much be one of the last entries I write for this year and as I go back to read what I wrote since last summer; I can't help to think that the second part of this term is definitely going to be fun.

Remember when I said something could happen that would change everything? Well I guess I wasn't wrong with saying that back last summer since it seems like things with Stella are much more than just mere friendship which honestly wasn't something I was expecting but after the whole hate potion incident, it became perfectly clear that what we had wasn't meant to be just friends. The only thing now is that I think this is either going to be a repeat of what had happened with TJ last term which I'm not talking about anymore because it doesn't exactly get much easier anytime, well how would you feel to learn you were dating someone who just happened to be going out with someone else while they were supposed to be with you? Or somehow I'm going to hurt her which I really don't want to do cause I like her way too much, however I'm not going to go as far to say that it's love because it's way too soon for that. Maybe ask me again in close to a year from now.. and my thoughts probably will have changed.

Huh, the last time I wrote anything here I was still 16 and now I'm 17. Interesting isn't it? My birthday started out rather boring since practically no one remembered but that automatically changed when I went to go hang out with Stella in the Great Hall, after that the day was so much better; I received an owl from my parents with my present which was a new keyboard since I sort of broke my last one. Well.. it got old and I might have thrown it at one point in time but that doesn't matter. My brother was awesome and drew me a tag that he had been working on for awhile, I think that he might be taking after me with being an artist. Speaking of Stella.. I unknowingly helped her with Potions homework again, at least this time I didn't have to take a potion that made her cry since it wasn't fun the first time (and of course things really have changed between us since then.. but that's a story for another time since the entire world doesn't need to know quite yet) but she ended up taking a couple pictures to which a clicking sound was created which made me think that I was crazy. Hey, it might be true with some of my ideas but that's fine. Anyway.. I should wrap this up since I've got to get back to studying, exams are coming up soon and well.. don't like them much.
