My family, is the biggest bunch of broom-heads I have ever met. Except my Uncle, Sirius Black. And my God-Father, Remus Lupin. And my 3 Best Mates, Caladrius, Ziz and Roc. We call ourselves the Mythical Bird Girls. If it wasn't for them, I may have to kill myself. Oh Oh, my Father's calling. Regulas Black.

5 Minuets Later:

AAH! I have just found out I have been arranged to Marry DRACO MALFOY. Good god, no 'true love' in the pureblood line is there? I'm tempted to simply pack my stuff up and walk out. I can't through. Just one more day. Then FREEDOM! 3rd Year at Hogwarts, 3rd Defence Against The Dark Arts teacher.

10:35am, 1st September:

This is a surprise. Remus is on the train. Ah ha! He must be the new DADA teacher. I went to sit next to him. 'Hello Remus.' I said. He opened an eye. 'Hello Phoenix.' he said. 'No Hug?' I said. 'Of course there is.' he said. He put an arm round me. I put my feet up on the seat next to me and lay against him. 'Phoenix!' said Roc, peeping in. 'Hi!' said Ziz, coming in after. 'How are you?' asked Caladrius, shutting the door behind her. 'Fine, You?' I asked. Caladrius was struggling to stay awake. She was a werewolf, and the full moon had only been last night. Ziz noticed. 'Listen, I think we could all use a sleep.' she said tactfully. 'I need one, after the news I got last night.' I said. 'What?' Roc asked. I told them. 'Eww!' said Roc. 'That's gross.' said Ziz. Caladrius had already fallen asleep. I simply smiled, and fell asleep. I woke up. 'Why have we stopped?' asked Roc. 'There is something out there!' said Ziz. 'Oh Unicorn Turds.' I said. A Dementor slowly came in. 'What the hell!' said Caladrius. 'I can do the spell, if you all do it with me.' I said. 'Ok.' said the girls. 'Expecto Patronum!' we said, pointing wands. I screwed my eyes and thought of when I first realised I was off to Hogwarts. 4 animals burst out of our wands. A Fox, Badger, Squirrel and Beaver flew towards the Dementor and it went away. I collapsed back against Remus. 'After that, we do need a sleep.' said Ziz. 'Well, we changed earlier. I see no reason why not.' said Roc, yawning. We all nodded off, until we reached the Station.

7:30pm

Sitting in the great hall. I really do hate those dementors. Unfortunately their here until my Uncle has been captured. Forgot to mention he's a wanted man who broke out of Azkaban. Still think he's better then my own Dad... I think.

8:30pm

Oh-Oh. Because Uncle has broke out, I have to be under 24-hour protection, with a teacher. Well that sucks. I wonder sometimes if it's worth living. Oh yeah, I have three great friends, one brilliant God-Father, and an Uncle who broke out of Azkaban, but I still thinks he's okay. Once in the empty corridor, I pulled out an Old-Photo album from my bag. Looking at it, I still miss Mum. She died, when I was just ten. Before, I was a happy, cheerful, Daddy's girl. I was obedient, I looked like a witch. But when she died, my father turned from a happy, loving father, to a moody, work-obbsesed person, who barley cared about how his daughter felt. And I, I went through a change. I dressed like a muggle, rebelled against my dad and just went out of my way to annoy the living daylights out of him. Ah Buggerations. I just got tear drops on my photo. I turned to the photo that I wanted. I was just one when it was took. It was of me, my dad, and my Uncle. Before he was taken to Azkaban. It still hurts my heart. I snapped it shut as someone came over.
'Phoenix?' asked the person, and I looked to see it was only Lupin.
'Oh. Hey.' I said, feeling pretty miserable.
Curse it, why do I always feel so upset when I look at those pictures. I looked up into his blue eyes. He stared back into mine. I expected him to be all teacher-like, well, because he is one, but instead he sat next to me on the floor. He looked at the Album
'Looking at it again?' he asked quietly.
I nodded, staring at my converse trainers.
Lupin is more like a father to me, ever since I turned 10. He didn't mind me dressing how I dress, and he was always there for me after Mum... It hurts to even write it... died.
She caught this muggle disease called, I think, Cancer, or something like that. She took treatment, and it went away for a it, but then it came back, and she just couldn't fight it anymore. It hurt, to see her in the bed at St Mungo's, and to feel her hand go limp as she slipped away. I can't describe the emotion. Dad didn't even come, he had no guts. Lupin was there though, and he hugged me and let me cry there just after she went.
'You better get back to the common room.' Remus said, awaking me from my thoughts.
I sighed.
'Yeah. I really should.' I said, standing up. I walked to the common room, went in, went straight to the dormitory, and lay, on top of the covers, drapes drawn, staring at the wooden, carved roof.

9:30am

Ugh, who's idea was it to have divination. I stared at Hermione's cup.
'Anything yet?' she asked.
'Yeah, a pile of soggy tea-leaves.' I said.
'Oh Ha ha.' said Hermione.
'You! Phoenix! I sense Seer blood in you! What do you see!' said Trelawney suddenly.
'I see, a heart, that means you'll find love. I see an arrow, that means that a change will come soon, I also see a , what is that, a broom, right next to the heart. That means, you'll find love, with a quidditch player' I said. Trelawney swept over, took the cup, looked and stared at me.
'She is correct.' she said.
'Yeah, Yeah, I know I'm rub- sorry what?' I said.
'You are exact in your readings. You do indeed have Seer blood.' said Trelawney.
I raised an eyebrow. Lavender stared at me with envy. I blinked as the bell went.
'Miss Black? May I have a word?' called Trelawney.
I slouched over.
'I would like to test you sight further.' said Trelawney.
She sat me down, a Crystal ball in front of me.
'Tell me what you see.' said Trelawney.
I stared at it. Shapes started to form, familiar shapes.
'I see, a man, a man with shaggy hair, who looks like Sirius Black. I see, Hogwarts. I can see a girl leaving a door.' I said,
'Indeed! You are right!' cried Trelawney.
She held her palm out. I took it, and read the lines.
'You are going to live, until you are 80, and have one child.' I said.
Trelawney took me to a Astrology calendar.
'Um.. Mars is bright, so a fight is coming. Pluto is also near so a death will come.' I said.
Trelawney stared at me.
'You are indeed, a Seer.' she whispered as I walked out the door.
Arg, I'm late for DADA!
