Ok so here's the next part! It's kinda short as well. i promise to post longer in the future.

“Go on.” Remus pushed me towards the headmaster’s office. “Just ask.”
“What do I say?”
“Just tell him what you told me. But, knowing him, he probably already knows about it.”
“But, I… uh..”
“Go.” Remus smiled and knocked on the door before I could say anything. “I’ll be out here.” he said walking down the corridor a bit.
I was about to turn around and leave when the door opened.
“Miss Wilson. What brings you to my office this fine day?”
“Um…” was all I could say. I never actually had a full conversation with Dumbledore. I’ve never been in his office either.
He peered down at me with his bright blue eyes and smiled.
“Well, I was kinda hoping that I could, um, go to St. Mungos. Sometime.” I added.
He opened the door further to let me in.
“Come in and sit down. We can talk.” Dumbledore gestured to a chair in front of his desk.
I glanced back at Remus who was peering around a corner. He gave me the thumbs and waved at me to go.
As I entered his office, I heard Dumbledore say “Good afternoon, Mr. Lupin.” and Remus reply with a ‘hi, Professor”.
I sat down in the chair and Dumbledore closed the door.
“I suppose that you want to visit your mother, is that correct?” He sat down across from me.
I nodded.
“Yes, I got a letter just this morning saying that she is not well.”
“I did too.” I said quietly. “The nurse said that maybe my visiting might jog my mum’s memory a bit.”
“Of course.”
“Do you think that maybe I can go?” I asked.
“I don’t see why not.”
“When?” I said anxiously.
“Tonight. If you want to. I’ll have someone come and collect you at six.”
“Yeah, that’s great.” I said
“Perfect.” he smiled, “Oh, and you can take Remus with you.”
I felt my neck turn red as I said. “Yeah, I’ll do that.”

K, tell me what you think! An thanks Ruby for always commenting!

Ok so I know I just posted but here's the next part. It's long like I promised.

I told Remus everything Dumbledore had told me, and we sat in the common room, while everyone was at dinner, and waited. Remus had told me he’d gladly accompany me on my visit. We sat in silence for about 10 minutes. Finally, I heard the Fat Lady’s Portrait open. The Head of House came in, told me to follow her and we all slowly walked to Professor Dumbledore’s office. The teacher gave me a pitiful look as she left us again.
“Thank you.” Dumbledore said to her.
She nodded once and closed the door.
Dumbledore’s gaze fell onto me and Remus.
“A healer will be here momentarily.” he said happily.
Remus and I exchanged looks. All of a sudden, the fireplace in the corner of the room burst into green flames. A motherly looking witch came out of the flames. She was plump, with thinning blonde hair, and deep brown eyes. She smiled at me then spoke to Dumbledore.
“Everything is ready.” She said.
The Professor peered at me through his half moon spectacles then waved at the fireplace.
“I think you know how to use floo powder?” he said to us.
I only nodded while Remus muttered ‘yeah’.
The plump healer held out a grey cloth bag and shook it at us.
“After you dear.”
“Um- ok.” Remus reached inside and pulled out a pile of floo powder.
“I will see you again in an hour.” said Dumbledore before returning to his work.
I saw him duck under the mantel of the fireplace and throw the powder at the ground.
“St. Mungos Hospital.” he said clearly.
Remus disappeared into the flames. I was up. I have never been to great at this kind of thing.
I took some floo powder of my own and went into the fireplace. After copying what Remus said, I felt myself being pulled into nothing. My feet suddenly hit ground and my knees buckled. I fell forward and landed on something other than the ground.
“Ow, Seneca your on top of me.” Remus muttered.
“Oh sorry.” I said laughing slightly.
We both stood up. I brushed through my hair with my fingers, dislodging dust and ash.
Remus cleaned off his robes with his wand.
The Healer appeared behind us, smiling slightly. She landed on her feet and walked over to us. I took the time to look around. I’ve been in St. Mungos only twice before.
We were standing in a reception area. Witches and wizards sat in chairs near the wall. Healers in lime green robes were walking in front of them, asking questions and taking notes.
“You know you’re way around?” asked the healer assisting us.
“Yes,” I nodded.
“Good. Your mother’s on the fourth floor.” She pointed to a set of double doors across the room, “I’ll pick you up in an hour.”
I felt Remus take my hand as the healer let us be. We walked across the room, glancing at some of the patients that we passed. I pushed open one of the doors and walked into the corridor behind it. Healers were walking in and out of doors, and Remus and I had to weave between most of them. We passed some rooms that were deserted and others that had a few occupants. At the end of the hallway we took a few flights of stairs to get to the forth floor. ‘Spell Damage’ was written above the door. I pushed it open and walked into the hallway. I looked at each of the doors, which had the occupants’ name, and the healers’ name.
Near the end of the hallway, where my mum has always been, was her name. Two other occupants were in the room; a Mrs. Jones and a Mr. Walkers.
The door was cracked open and I pushed it further to look inside. Four beds were in the room. Two held my mothers roommates, and two were empty. I looked to the one that was empty in the back corner, near the window. My mother was standing near the open window, her hand was placing something on the windowsill. A nurse was fixing the pillows and folding the blankets at the foot of her bed.
“Is that your mum?” Remus asked quietly following my gaze.
“Yeah.” I murmured in reply.
We walked over to her. The nurse looked up at the oncoming footsteps.
“Oh look Anna. Your daughter is here to see you.”
My mum turned around at the sound of her name. I now noticed that she had bird feed in her hand and was placing it in a feeder hanging from the windowsill. Her once curly red hair (like mine) was now short and whispy. Her skin was pale and wrinkly on her face. My mum’s eyes looked unfocused, and they skimmed over us quizzically.
“Se- Sere- Sa-,” she went through different sounds, trying to remember my name.
“It’s Seneca.” I whispered heartbroken.
“Right.” she mumbled. Her eyes shifted over to Remus.
“Do I know you?” She asked. Her voice cracked when she spoke.
“Um. No. I’m Seneca’s friend, Remus Lupin. It’s nice to meet you Mrs. Wilson.” He held out his hand. I shook my head at him. My mum didn’t notice this gesture. She looked at his hand, confused. Remus closed it and pulled it back to his side.
The nurse was watching this exchange. She held the thin blanket in her hands, frozen in midair, as she paused to see what her patient would do. I glanced at her. Our eyes made contact and she nodded.
“I’ll be back, Anna. Just shout if you need anything.” The witch put the blanket down and moved to take care of Mrs. Jones, lying on the bed across the room.
My mum stared after her then looked back at us kids, standing there, kind of uncomfortable. She sat down in a fat, purple, armchair and stared at Remus, as if he was some new species she’s never seen before. Beside me, he shifted from foot to foot.
“How are you?” I asked, breaking the tension.
Her gaze tore from Remus back to me.
“I’m… I’m good.” She managed to say.
We sat down on the newly made bed. I took Remus’s hand in both of mine and held it in my lap. Unconsciously, I traced patterns on the back of it.
“Do you… uh… do you remember me much?” I muttered hesitantly.
My mum closed her eyes. I stared at her for a minute. Finally, she answered.
“No.” She shook her head.
Her gaze returned back to Remus.
“Are you my son?”
“We just went through this, mum. He’s my friend.”
She nodded slightly. “Why does everyone keep talking about my son? I don’t remember having a boy.” She looked at me.
“He died. A while ago.” I whispered.
“He did? What was his name?”
“Ethan.” I supplied.
We dropped the subject of my brother. My mother began humming lightly in the silence.
Remus and I exchanged more looks.
During the silence, the nurse came back over to us.
“Would you liked some tea, Anna?” she asked.
“Huh, oh, sure.” my mother mumbled.
The nurse disappeared. When she came back she set the teapot and three teacups on the table.
“Seneca, can I talk to you?” she asked.
“Yeah.”
The nurse pulled me aside.
“Anything?” she asked me hopefully.
I shook my head, unable to speak. Finally I said; “She doesn’t remember me.”
“Oh dear. I’m so sorry.” the witch pulled me into a hug.
I looked back at my mother, who was, once again, staring at Remus. After a minute, she picked up the teapot and poured herself some tea, but completely missed the cup and it splattered every where.
“Uh… I don’t know how to say this.” The nurse’s tone brought me back to look at her, and we split apart, “but, the healers here think she doesn’t have much longer.”
“What?” I said loud enough that Remus turned around to look at me.
“I’m sorry. Her mind isn’t doing well.”
It was different hearing that in person than reading it in a letter.
“How long does she have?” I whispered.
“About a month.” the nurse’s blue eyes scanned over me. Her face looked sincere. I looked away, at the calendar hanging above my mum’s bed.
A month, I thought, That will be in the middle of March.
“I’m sorry.” the witch repeated. She went over to where my mother was a began cleaning up the spilt tea.

Ok, so tell me what you think!

K, so here's the next part!

“Come on Seneca, we should go.”
Remus pulled me into his arms. I said bye to my mum and we left St. Mungos, taking the floo network back to Dumbledore’s office. Of course, he was sitting there waiting for us.
“Well?” he asked.
I looked at the Professor, not knowing what to say, but he seemed to understand my expression.
“You may go back to your common room.” he said gravely.

“Seneca, what happened?” Emily sat down next to me on the couch. The other marauders and Lily were crowded around the couch as well, all their eyes on me.
I glanced at everyone, then back at Emily. They all looked confused except for Remus, and Emily looked at me sincerely.
I wrung my hands in my lap.
“Seneca?” Lily spoke quietly.
I ignored her voice and instead pulled my knees up to my chest and buried my face in my arms.
“Tell them.” I mumbled.
“Are you sure?” I felt Emily’s breath next to my ear, “Don’t you want to do it?”
I shook my head, a gesture that was muffled from under my arms but one that Emily caught all the same.
“Tell us what?” Asked Sirius from behind me.
Emily sighed. “About why she’s been so upset lately.”

Emily spoke, and I felt everyone’s gaze on the back of my head. Remus put his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to his side. I looked up and stared at the fire, a few tears tracing down my cheeks.
I heard a few gasps from Lily every now and then. I had a feeling that James had put his arm around her.
“You’re dad got in trouble right? For doing something like that.”
I nodded into Remus’s shirt.
“He was sent to Azkaban. He got a life sentence for using two of the unforgivable curses.” I said.
“Seneca, I’m so sorry.”
Emily moved so Lily could take her spot and hug me.
“You just visited your mother. She’s not ok, is she?”
I shook my head.
“I’m sorry,” she said again.
“How could he do something like that?” I asked nobody in particular. I still stared at the burning embers in the fire, “He ruined my life, my mum’s, my brother’s…” I stopped.
“I want to kill him.” I said my voice growing loud as I sat up, “make him pay for what he’s done.”
I tightened my grip on the wand in my right hand. Red sparks flew out the end. Remus seemed to notice this.
“Calm down, Seneca.” he said, prying the wand out of my hand.
“How can I calm down?!” I said. Peter jumped back from the couch as I stood up.
“He killed my brother!” I yelled. People were starting to stare at me, but I didn’t even blink an eye at them.
I looked frantically at my friends, for some kind of conformation. I turned my back on them, “You don’t understand.” I pointed out.
Sirius grabbed my shoulders and shoved me back onto the couch.
“No, we don’t,” he said, “We can only imagine what your going through.”
I glared at each of them in turn.
“Seneca, I think you should get some rest.” Emily muttered to me.
“Yeah,” everyone else agreed.
I didn’t argue. I knew it was either go to the dormitory by myself and go to sleep, or be knocked out by James or Sirius and left to sleep on the uncomfortable couch.

Leave your replies.

Sorry its really short. I'll try to post soon.

I woke up early the next morning. Emily and Lily were already up and were sitting in the common room, talking. They spoke in whispers, and when they saw me, stopped talking altogether.
“Get a good night’s sleep?” Lily asked.
I nodded and rubbed my eyes.
Emily patted the seat next to her. I went and sat down.
“How are you?” she asked.
“Fine.” I said.
Emily studied my face, looking for some trace of a lie, but seeing none, she nodded.
“Seneca!”
I turned and looked over the back of the sofa. The marauders had just came out of theur dormitory. Remus was the one who yelled my name across the common room.
James came over to Lily and kissed her gently on the cheek then turned to me.
“You ok?”
“Yeah,” I mumbled.
“Seneca.” said Sirius kind of uncomfortably.
I looked at Remus, who was standing with his hands gripping the back of the couch. He smiled.
“You sure?” he said.
“Yes.” I said firmly and what felt like the millionth time.
“Let’s go get some breakfast,” Lily suggested. She took James’s hand, who flushed a light pink, and helped me up.
“You’re gonna be fine.” muttered Remus into my ear when I stood next to him.
I looked over his face and he stared back at me.
He seemed to be reading through my strait face.

Ok pleeease reply!!!!

haha I'm sorry these post have been getting shorter!
But, anyways, here's the next part.

The end of February approached sooner than I have liked. Emily and Lily continued to speak in whispers until I came around, and they never mentioned my mum in front of me.
The weather soon started to grow warmer. Not by much, but at least a little.
My classes went by slowly. I was absolutely terrible at Potions (as usual) and Lily tried to help me with some things. Charms was my best class and I almost fell asleep in Divination. (Emily had punched my arm when this happened)
Tonight was a Thursday, and Emily, Lily, and I were in the common room studying for a History of Magic test.
Emily was laying on her stomach on the floor, looking over some [chicken scratch] notes, while Lily was sitting the chair I usually occupy. I was laying down on the sofa with a book suspended in the air above me.
Other kids were in the common room. Most of them were doing homework, others were playing chess, and some had even called it for the night.
After about an hour, the silence was killing me.
“Lily, where’s James?”
“Huh?” Lily pried her eyes off the page she was reading.
“James? Your boyfriend?”
“Uh… I actually don’t know.” She looked around, as if expecting him to appear out from behind a bookcase.
“It’s after curfew.” I pointed out.
“Yeah.” She stood up and threw the book on the table in front of her.
Emily looked up. “I haven’t seen him since before dinner.”
“Me too.” she said.
“I bet Mary knows.” I nodded my head to the Gryffindor talking to a few kids in the corner.
Without a word Lily walked over to her other friend.
I stood up and stretched.
“I’m tired,” I said yawning.
“You can help me study.” suggested Emily, who was reading her notes again.
“You know all that stuff.” I said smiling.
“Not all of it.” Emily muttered defensively.
“Sure.” I walked over to the window and stared up at the full moon now hanging in the black sky.
I was about to go back to my seat when something on the grounds caught my attention.
I saw the whomping willow, where it has always been for the past six years, but I also saw two figure’s walking towards it.

K, tell me what you think!

Here's the next part! I've been kinda busy lately, so sorry! I'll try to post longer next time!

“Remus,” I whispered.
Looking closer, I was able to make out the small figure of a women.
Isn’t that Madam Pomfrey? I thought.
I saw them both walk towards the Whomping Willow; towards the swinging tree limbs that tried to knock them over.
Madam Pomfrey took out her wand and pointed it a spot on the base of the tree. It froze, the limbs and everything becoming still.
They both ducked towards the trunk and just disappeared.
I squinted, trying to find some trace of where they went. After about of minute and they didn’t reappear, the tree twitched then moved once more.
Instead of studying like I should have, I sat down next to the window and stared down at the grounds. Madam Pomfrey reappeared and I perked up, taking my chin off my hand on which I was leaning.
Remus wasn’t with her.
I looked around again, but he was nowhere in sight. I watched as the small woman re entered Hogwarts.
I was about to call Lily or Emily over when another thing caught my attention.
Three figures appeared out of nowhere, a little ways away from the Whomping Willow. With a start, I recognized the glint of James’s glasses, the long black hair of Sirius, and the short and stout figure of Peter.
What are they doing? I asked myself.
They did the same as Madam Pomfrey; freezing the tree and disappearing right near the base.
I turned around at looked through the common room. Lily was still talking to Mary. Apparently neither of them knew that James was right outside, in the field of vision of the common room window. Emily was talking to them as well. They were all in deep conversation and I didn’t want to disturb them.
Turning back to the window yet again, I saw Sirius return and run to the entrance of Hogwarts.
I couldn’t take it anymore. I stood up and ran over to the portrait of the Fat Lady, grabbing my wand off the table as I passed it and stuffing it into my robe pocket.

Lily and Emily saw me leave the common room. Lily made to stop me, but I ignored her.
I silently padded down empty hallways. Some of the statues turned in my direction, but they did nothing other did squeak when they moved.
I was lucky enough to avoid Peeves. A few teachers and Prefects were in the hallways. I took different corridors, taking longer ways, but I was able to avoid them all the same.
Finally, when I reached the Great Hall I recognized two voices.
The amused and laid back voice of Sirius Black.
And the drawling voice of Severus Snape.

Tell me what you think!

Here's the next part!

“What do you want, Black?” spat Severus.
“Just a talk.” shrugged Sirius easily.
I ducked back behind the staircase, hiding in the shadows.
“What about?” he asked harshly.
“I want to show you something.” He said, “If you up to the challenge.”
I saw Snape’s face contort into a scowl.
“It’s just outside.” continued Sirius.
Severus looked around, but seeing none, he slowly nodded.
“Be quick with it,” he shot.
A victorious smile flickered across Sirius’s face. He quickly recomposed himself then said, “this way.”
Hesitantly, Snape followed Sirius back into the grounds.
I followed them, curious to what they were up to. I stayed close to the entrance of Hogwarts when they moved through the clear yard. There was nowhere to hide, save for a tree near the bank of the Black Lake. Neither Sirius nor Snape looked back as if they suspected someone was watching them. Sirius froze the Whomping Willow with a flick of his wand (for like the fifth time that night) and motioned for Severus to go first.
I saw Snape duck into a passage by the tree.
How have I not noticed that before? I thought.
I heard Sirius’s bark like laughter reverberate through the empty grounds. After a moment he followed Snape into the passage.
The tree twitched. I took my chance and sprinted across the grounds then dodged a branch as it came crashing down beside me. I jumped into the passage, and had to bend over so my head wouldn’t hit the ceiling.
The passage was low, dark, and damp.
“Lumos,” I whispered into the darkness.
My wand lit up and spread a yellowish glow a few feet in front of me. I kept walking, which felt like forever to me, then stopped dead when a noise scared me.
A howl. A howl that was piercing to my ears in the tunnel.
I did the stupid thing and moved towards the noise, at a faster pace.
Is that light? I thought.
“Nox”
My wand went out. A dim glow was coming from about 15 feet ahead of me.
I stood in the dark and my eyes adjusted to the light coming form ahead.
I saw Sirius and Snape ahead. They stood in the way of most of the light. Sirius was standing behind Severus, with his hands on either side of the passage. They stood in a doorway. It was falling apart and looked like it belonged to a building.
The Shrieking Shack, I thought instinctively.
“He’s a-,” Snape was cut off by another howl. Louder this time, and coming from the entrance of the building.
“Padfoot!” I heard James’s voice loud and clear, “What did you do?!”
Something was moving in the room of the Shrieking Shack. I couldn’t see what it was, but it looked like a large mass. Moving closer, I saw that it looked like an oversized dog. It prowled the opposite wall, its green eyes glued to the four humans in the entrance to the hidden passage.
I saw Peter glance nervously between his two friends and the werewolf. Snape’s face turned pale and he backed up, but stopped when he felt Sirius’s arm blocking the exit.
“You wanted to know mate.” he said pointedly. Amusement was heard in his voice and he was smiling.
James’s eyes switched to behind his best friend.
They widened when they saw me.
“Seneca.” he sputtered.
Sirius’s head whipped around. Severus and Peter looked too.
The werewolf took it’s chance. Crouching down, it then lunged at the distracted humans.

I'm gonna leave it off there. Tell me what you think, pleeeeease.

Here's the next part!

Peter jumped out of the way and landed in the far corner of the room. Sirius, his smile now gone, shot a spell at the oncoming werewolf, which was slowed down, but landed too close for comfort.
“SIRIUS BLACK!” shouted James in anger at his best friend.
James and Sirius were blocking the doorway, the only thing keeping the werewolf from getting to me or Snape.
Severus was backing up. His wand was held loosely in his hand and he made no movement to help his two enemies.
My grip tightened on my own wand. I was thinking of moving up to help them, but I didn’t get the chance.
“Get them out of here!” yelled Sirius.
I watched in amazement as Sirius turned into a great, black, dog, and distracted the werewolf away from us.
James turned around and forced Snape to retreat back through the tunnel. He grabbed my arm (for I had not moved) and pulled me behind him and Severus.
“Keep going.” He kept saying hurriedly.
Barks and growls shot through the passage. I kept trying to look back, to see what became of Sirius, but James kept pulling me forward.
He stopped suddenly and turned around. I noticed that he looked pale, and was searching the dark tunnels feverishly with his hazel eyes. Finally, I realized what he was doing.
I heard the fast footsteps of two animals not far from behind us.
James shuffled me and Snape forward faster now. We barely made it out of the tunnel in time. He froze the tree with his wand, then turned and stared at the entrance.
“What are you doing?” I shouted at him.
“Shut up!” he yelled back.
I fell quiet and too looked at the passage’s entrance.
Severus was behind all of us. He seemed to have recomposed himself, for he held his wand more tightly and his mouth was a thin line on his face.
I held my wand aloft.
“Lumos.” I whispered for the second time that night.
A circle of yellow fell around all of us. It illuminated the dark grounds, but made menacing shadows around the base of the tree.
Suddenly, a great, big, animal burst through the entrance.
It howled at the full moon above then turned its green eyes towards me.
It jumped, and James pushed me out of the way. I landed on the grass with a thud, and my wand skitted a few feet away, the light going out.
James was on the ground, the werewolf looming over him. He shot a nonverbal spell at the beast and it danced back, avoiding it.
He jumped up and then too took his unregistered animagi form.
A stag.
James ran forward and butted the animal with his antlers.
Sirius and Peter appeared in the passage entrance. Sirius was in his human form, but he had deep scratches running over his body.
James was barely holding off the werewolf and Sirius and Peter seemed to notice this. Sirius took out his wand, but the stag shook its head violently. It nodded towards us. His friend knew what that meant.
Dodging the two fighting animals, he ran over to us.
“Come on!” he yelled.
The werewolf was trying to get past James. It eyed Severus and me, hungrily. With a swipe of his paw, James was throw aside, apparently unconscious, and in his human form again.
“No.” said Sirius looking at his friend, but quickly turned back to us, “Get out of here!”
“No!” I said forcefully.
“You have to.” he looked frantically back at his best friend then to the monster approaching. Suddenly there was a rat at the werewolf’s feet. It nimbly dodged the swiping feet, and it was distracting the animal.
Sirius took advantage of this and grabbed the back of my robes and pulled me along beside him. He shoved Snape (rather roughly) towards the castle.
“Go, you don’t have much time!”
With that he turned back into the dog and ran at the werewolf.

Tell me what you think!

No replies. Well, here's the next part!

A thousand thoughts were flying through my head.
Should I stay and help? Or should I grab Snape and run for it?
Sirius’s form of the dog growled at me, bared its teeth, then barked.
I could read his mind.
Get out of here.
I took a few steps back as Sirius turned around and helped keep the werewolf distracted. I could tell Severus was thinking of doing something. I spun around and grabbed his arm and pulled him back towards the castle.
“Oi! What are you doing?!”
“Not getting eaten.” I replied curtly and pulled him faster.
We ran back to the entrance as fast as we could. I bent over, panting, as did Snape.
“I can’t believe he never told me.” I said through gasps of air.
“I knew something was up.”
I looked up at Severus. He was looking in the other direction, back at the Whomping Willow. I could see forms running in circles around the base of the tree.
“It was none of your business.” I said sharply.
“Oh?” Snape’s gaze turned to me, “What about you? Curiosity,” he scoffed, “You realized your boyfriend’s been disappearing. It’s your business if your dating.”
“We aren’t dating…”
His gaze turned into a scowl.
“I see you two together. If he cares so much about you, why didn’t he tell you?”
“He tried to… I think.”
“Yeah, tried.”
“What’s your problem!” I yelled at him, “Remus’s life has nothing to do with you!”
“It has to do with all of us. What if someone had gotten hurt from him? If you, or me, or some other kid outside had gotten hurt… or killed.”
“Dumbledore knows what’s going on.” I said, “He wouldn’t do anything that would get anyone hurt.”
“Indeed.”
Snape and I both looked up at the new voice. Standing in front of us, with his half moon spectacles and his crooked nose, was Albus Dumbledore.

Reply and tell me what you think!

Thanks Emily!
Here's the next part!

“Professor.” I said quickly and we both fell quiet.
“Miss Wilson, Mr. Snape,” he acknowledged, “You’re out late.”
It wasn’t a question, but a statement and it seemed to be spoken directly to me.
I nodded.
“May I ask why?”
“Well…” I looked at Severus for back up, but he was staring through the still open, large front doors. He didn’t even look at me. Stupid Slytherin, I thought.
“Ah. I understand.” He followed the Snape’s gaze.
“Would you two be kind enough as to go and wait in my office? I will be with you momentarily.” he said.
I hesitated before I said, “Yes, Professor.”
“Good.” he half smiled, “Go on then.”
I walked in the direction of his office. Severus followed me, silently.
When we were out of earshot of the Headmaster, Snape and I started shouting at each other again.
“He doesn’t know what he’s doing!”
“Yes, he does!” I yelled back, “Remus wouldn’t even be in Hogwarts if he doesn’t.”
“Lupin shouldn’t even be here.” he stated firmly.
“Don’t say that.”
Without another word from the boy, we reached Dumbledore’s office. The door was unlocked and we walked in. I sat down on one of the chairs in front of the headmaster’s desk while Severus walked around the room, looking at each of the spindly items he had on tables and in cabinets.
I pulled my knees up to my chest and buried my face in my hands.
How could he say that, I kept thinking, Remus has a right to be here as any other student.
It’s fine, Seneca. Everything’s gonna be fine, said another voice in the back of my mind.
Tears began to stream down the sides of my face. A few minutes passed. Snape and I still didn’t talk. Finally, I heard the door creak open.
“Seneca?” I heard James’s voice.
I raised my head.
The boy’s glasses were smudged with dirt and askew on his nose, his black hair was messier than ever and his robes were torn and dirty. Sirius followed, looking just as disheveled. He still had cuts on his face and arms, and the blood had mixed with dirt, that clumped over the wounds. His face looked worried and his long hair was tangled.
Dumbledore was the last to enter the office. Peter came in before him. I noticed that he looked a lot better than the other two.
Dumbledore motioned for everyone to sit down. They looked around quizzically, at the remaining chair in the office, then the Professor made some more appear. James and Sirius took their seats, on each side of me, while Peter sat next to James, and Severus stayed standing.
Dumbledore stood on the other side of his desk, looking us all over. I took my feet off the chair and leaned forward to hear what the Headmaster would say.
“Well,” he said at last, “The cause of tonight’s events must be found.” he paused, “I would like to know what you were all doing in the grounds and why.”
Dumbledoor looked at my tearstained and red face.
“It was me, professor.”
Everyone turned to Sirius, who had spoken.
The boy was staring at the ground, but he glanced upward at the headmaster.
“I told Snape to follow me. It was just a joke, and I didn’t mean for anything to happen.”
Dumbledore’s gaze shifted over to the Slytherin. “Is this true?”
Slowly, he nodded.
James was staring at both of them, a small frown upon his face.
“I didn’t want anyone to get hurt,” continued Sirius. He sat leaned forward in the chair, his elbows propped up on his knees. He continued to stare at the same point on the floor.
Why would you think of doing something like this?” Dumbledore asked.
“I don’t know.” replied Sirius quietly.
“Very well.” the professor said, “Since you are taking responsibility of your actions, you will only receive a month’s detentions.”
Sirius’s nodded solemnly.
“Mr. Potter?” he asked.
Instead of James saying anything, Sirius continued to talk.
“He didn’t do anything, professor, He and Peter were trying to help Snape get out of there.”
James and I nodded in agreement.
Dumbledore didn’t reply to the boy’s comment. Instead, he turned to look at me.
I bit my lip and looked at the front of his desk. Dumbledore was still standing behind it, and he was staring me down with his piercing blue eyes.
“And where do you come into this?” he asked.
“Now that I think about it, how did you know what we were doing?” Sirius asked.
James raised an eyebrow while Peter moved closer to hear what I’d say. Severus had disappeared in the shadows of the corner of the room.
“I… uh… I saw Remus and Madam Pomfrey leave the castle and go to the Whomping Willow.” I muttered, “Then I saw them appear.” I motioned towards the three boys around me, “And well… Sirius came back into the castle and I wanted to know what was going on, so I left the dormitory to find him. I followed him and Snape back into the grounds.”
“I see. Well,” He changed the subject, “This is to you, Mr. Snape, and to you, Miss Wilson. I ask that you not mention this to any other student. It is Mr. Lupin’s choice of who he wants to tell about his condition. I can trust you both I hope?”
“Of course, professor.” I said instinctively.
Out of the shadows behind me I could hear the faint mumble of Snape saying ‘yes, sir’.
“Good.” Dumbledore smiled, “Go back to your dormitories and get some sleep, but, er, you two,” he pointed to Sirius and James, “You might want to visit Madam Pomfrey and have her heal you.”
We all shuffled out the door. Peter and I headed to the seventh floor, to get back to the common room, while James and Sirius went to the hospital wing, and Snape headed towards the dungeons.

K, tell me what you think

Thanks for the reply Emily!
Here's the next part!

“Seneca, where have you been? And why are you covered in dirt?” Emily jumped at me as soon as I entered the common room.
“Outside.” I replied curtly.
“Outside? It’s after curfew.” she stated.
“I know.”
“What were you doing outside?” she continued. Lily caught sight of me and ran over to us.
“I cant-,”
“Seneca! What happened to you?” Lily interrupted.
“Ugh. It’s none of your business. I can’t tell you. I’m sorry.” I added looking at their faces.
“Why not?” They asked in unison.
“Because… I just can’t. Can you please just leave me alone? I need time to myself.”
“It’s not you mum, is it?” Lily asked.
I glared at her then said: “No, it’s not.”
Emily elbowed her in the side and gave her a look that said, Shut up and don’t mention that.
“Sen- Seneca?” Lily spun around.
I had already left their presence and was stalking up the dormitory steps.
“No, just leave her.” I heard Emily say.

I woke up early the next morning. I had fallen asleep, crying. So many things were going through my head. My dad, my mum, my brother, Remus, Emily and Lily.
“You ok?” I heard a voice ask.
Emily was watching me. Since it was Friday, she sat on her bed, brushing her blonde hair, already in her robes, and ready for her first class.
“Yeah,” I murmured, pulling out my Gryffindor robes from my trunk.
“You wanna tell me about it?”
“No.” I said solemnly, “I can’t.”
She shrugged. “I’ll be in the Great Hall if you need me.”
“K,” I muttered.
I slowly got changed, taking my time to tie my shoes, then pulled my red hair into a braid. Stuffing my wand into my back pocket, I made my way down the stairs to the common room.
Turns out, Emily never even made it past the kids crowded in the circular room.
“Seneca!” I looked up as my name was shouted.
Lily sprinted, yes sprinted, over to where I had stopped.
“Seneca! How are you?”
“I’m fine,” I said impatiently.
“Come here.” before I could even say anything she pulled me back to the sofa and two chairs around the fireplace.
Emily was sitting on the arm of Sirius’s chair, who looked well and unscathed. James was sitting on the couch and he was staring at me.
I averted my eyes.
“I found her.” Lily said happily to Remus who was sitting in the other armchair.
“Thanks, Lily.” he smiled then turned to me. “Can we talk?”
“Of course.” I mumbled.
He took my hand then headed towards the mostly empty corridors.

“I’m sorry,” he kept saying to me.
“For what?” I asked
“Seneca, you almost got killed last night.” he pointed out.
Remus had led me to the Room of Requirement. He had paced back and forth, then a large door appeared. Inside was a small, comfortable room, with a large squishy sofa and a roaring fire.
I leaned back.
“It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have followed Sirius and Snape out onto the grounds.”
“You were just curious. There’s nothing wrong with that.” He changed his position to look directly at me, “And no, it’s my fault. I should have told you.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?” I whispered. Tears were beginning to fall down my cheeks.
“Well, I can’t exactly go around telling that to people. And I was afraid.”
“Of what?” I asked.
“I was afraid that you’d run off. I don’t want to lose you.”
I looked the boy over, from his light brown hair to his tattered robes.
“I love you Seneca Wilson.” he said finally.
I didn’t reply.
Remus flushed a deep pink then turned away.
“I’m sorry.” he mumbled.
“Remus, I can’t take this right now.”
He studied my red face.
“With this and my mum, I’m sorry, Remus…” I broke off crying, but I was finally able to stutter, “I have to go to class.”
I stood up from the couch and left the Room of Requirement.

K, tell me what you think!

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. But, anyways heres the next part!
It's a short one.

My classes went slower than ever. I got an extra assignment in potions class because I dozed off and put a wrong ingredient into my cauldron. My classmates had to duck to avoid being hit with a red, burning goop and by the end of that class I had singed the ends of my hair and was covered in soot.
Lily and Emily didn’t help me much. I know they were just curious and wanted to help, but I just wanted to be left alone. At most times, I was able to avoid them, but sometimes I ran into one of them or James or Sirius or Peter.
It wasn’t until Tuesday night the following week that I spoke to one of them again.

I was sitting in the corner of the common room. My wand tip was lit and my Transfiguration book laid open on my lap. I wasn’t even looking at it. Instead, I was muttering ‘Nox’ and ‘Lumos’ under my breath. My wand kept flicking in and off, but I didn’t care. It was getting late and I thought every one was in bed, but I was wrong.
“Seneca, aren’t you tired?”
I shook my head before my wand went out, then flipped back on.
“Can I sit here?”
Without a reply, Sirius sat down next to me.
“What do you want?” I whispered.
“Nothing,” he shrugged, “Just to talk.”
“If you wanted to know what happened between me and Remus, I’m not going to tell you.”
“I know. It’s none of my business.”
I lit up my wand then turned to look at him. The boy rested his head against the stone wall and stared at the tapestry opposite of us.
“Thanks.” I muttered, “Everyone else won’t leave me alone.”
“I think they gave up. It been almost a week.” he smiled, “I’d talk to someone if I were you. Holding it in and avoiding everyone doesn’t help.”
“How would you know?” I asked.
In reply, Sirius just shrugged.
I stared out the window. The moon was rising high, and a light fog was falling over the school grounds.
“He misses you, you know.” Sirius said suddenly.
My gaze snapped back to the Gryffindor sitting next to me.
“Won’t shut up about you.” he grinned. “It’s always ‘Seneca this, Seneca that’. I surprised he hasn't gotten tired of your name.”
I shoved the boy lightly in the shoulder.
“I’m kidding.” he pointed out, “Just trust me. At least speak to him. For me. And James. And Peter. And everyone else he talks to.”
I laughed gently.
“Come on. Talk to him the morning.” With that he stood up and held out his hand for me.
I gladly took it, then got up and grabbed my Transfiguration book, then went to my dormitory.

K, please leave your replies!

Thanks for the reply, Ruby! Here's the next part.

I was seriously thinking of talking to Remus in the morning. I passed him in the common room on my way to breakfast, but I bit my tongue and kept my mouth shut.
He glanced at me as I passed and we made brief eye contact. I quickly looked away and moved faster towards the Fat Lady’s Portrait.
Emily and Lily were already in the Great Hall. Some time during last week, they had given up on pressuring me to talk and now they weren’t speaking to me at all. I paused momentarily before continuing to the table.
“Can I sit here?” I asked quietly.
They exchanged glances, one that I didn’t like, then Emily spoke.
“You’re finally gonna talk to us?” she asked harshly.
I looked between them. “I’ll sit somewhere else then.” I muttered to myself and turned to leave.
“No, Seneca,” Lily elbowed Emily in the arm, “Of course you can sit here.”
Hesitantly, I sat down next to Lily and across from Emily.
Emily was looking me over.
“What?” I asked finally.
“Where have you been?” she asked.
“What do you mean?”
“You’ve just disappeared. Slipped off. We haven’t heard from you in like a week.” she stated flatly.
“Emily, stop.” said Lily.
“No. Seneca, you’ve always told me everything. Why won’t you tell me now?”
“I don’t want to talk about it.” I replied.
“You always want to talk about. I know you, and I know that now something is really bothering you. You’re not the type to just cut everyone off from their lives. Please tell me what’s been wrong.”

“I told you before.” I said turning away from her.
“I know about your mum!” she said frantically. “What happened between you and Remus?”
“Nothing.” I mumbled.
“Yes, something happened. He’s been worried about you too.”
“Maybe I should go somewhere else!” I said and grabbed a piece of toast and stood up.
“Seneca…”
“No. I shouldn’t have come here in the first place.”
Emily stopped talking, but stared at me with glaring eyes and her mouth was a thin line. Lily looked concerned, but she didn’t do anything to stop me.
At that moment the four marauder’s walked into the Great Hall.
I readjusted my backpack strap on my shoulder and walked past them. Sirius grabbed my arm, stopping me momentarily.
“You didn’t talk to him.” he pointed out, whispering.
“I don’t want to.” I hissed back.

Leave your replies.

Here's the next part!

That day went slower than ever. I did bad at charms, which was usually my best subject, and I did even worse in potions. Emily and I never spoke the rest of the day and Lily didn’t bother me either, for I was in a crankier mood than usual. I had a free period right after lunch, and I decided to go the owlery.
I walked by myself. Once I got there I pulled out some parchment and tore it in two. On one I frantically wrote my mum’s name. I knew she would have no idea what I was talking about or who I was talking about, but I still wanted to tell her. I found some ink and a quill in my bag then sat down against the wall and wrote against my transfiguration book.

Mum,
How are you? It’s been a while since I written, but I guess it’s better than never. I hope I can visit sometime soon. School’s been ok. I’ve been fighting with Remus. And Emily and Lily have been mad at me too. So many things are going through my life right now. I don’t know if I can handle a relationship at the moment. What do you think I should do?
Seneca

I ended the letter abruptly. I didn’t know what else I could say. I folded it and laid it beside me.
On the second sheet, I wrote it out to my uncle.

Uncle Thomas,
Have have you been? I never got to reply from Christmas. Thanks for the presents by the way. I’ve seen mum recently. She isn’t doing so well. The nurse told me whe doesn’t have much longer. During this month, I think. Also, I know you probably don’t care much about this, but I’ve been fighting with my friends. I really don’t know what to do. Please write back soon,
Seneca.

I had to stop because I heard foot steps coming up the stairs of the owlery. I called down two of the school’s owls and gave each of them a letter, then sent them off.
I ducked behind one of the pillars and waited to see who it was. My stomach flipped when I recognized the voices.
Remus and Sirius.
“You never told me Moony, who are you sending that too?” asked Sirius.
“My father.” he replied, “you?”
“My mum.” he laughed.
“Oh,” Remus replied. He called down an owl and tied the letter to its foot.
“I’m not one for sincerity, but are you ok?” he asked.
“Huh? Oh yeah.” he replied sending the owl off.
“You sure, Moony?” she asked again, tying his own letter to an owl and sending it off as well.
“Yes.” he said.
“Well I know Seneca isn’t.”
My name made me look around the pillar. Sirius was casually leaning against the wall and Remus was looking out one of the windows.
“Not now, Padfoot.” he complained.
“Just saying. I talked to her last night. She’s seemed so upset.”
“It’s her mum. I can’t blame her.” mumbled Remus.
“I told her to talk to you. She said she wanted to.”
“She did?” Remus asked looking up at his friend.
“Yeah.”
No I did not! I thought briskly.
“Well she didn’t exactly say that, but I could tell from her eyes.”
I sighed in relief, but color rose to my cheeks.
“She wants to make up with you.” Sirius said.
That blew it. He was pushing it too far.
“She’s really sorry.” he continued.
I bit my hand to keep from yelling out.
“Why doesn’t she tell me this herself?”
“Why don’t you ask her?”
“Right. I should find Seneca and ask her myself.” he made to leave, but Sirius pulled him back.
“She’s right over there.” he smiled.

Leave your replies.

Sorry it's so short. Anyway...

“How’d you-?” I stuttered, coming out from behind the pillar.
“Seneca?” asked Remus credulously.
Sirius winked. “I’ll leave you two alone.”
“Thanks, Sirius.” I said sarcastically.
“No problem.” he replied leaving the owlery.
Remus looked surprised when he saw me, then he looked a little uncomfortable. He shifted his weight from foot to foot and was avoiding my gaze.
“So…” I muttered, “How have you been?”
His eyes caught mine. He stared at me as if I was crazy.
“Well… Maybe I should just go.” I mumbled turning around to leave.
“No, Seneca.” he grabbed the strap to my back pack.
“What?” I asked.
“Um… What Sirius said, is that true?” he questioned timidly.
“No.”
Remus looked a little disappointed.
“No I mean, uh… I never said any of that.”
Now he just looked confused.
“I was uh… maybe thinking it. But I never said it out loud.”
“So you do want to make up?”
“No… yes… I don’t know… maybe.”
His brow furrowed, but he continued to stare at me. I could see amusement creeping up the edges of his eyes. He seemed to be enjoying the sight of me stuttering.
“Yes!” I said at last, “I want to make up! I’m sorry! I’m sorry for everything! I’m sorry if I was worrying you, I’m sorry for ignoring you, and I’m sorry for just leaving you. Please stop staring at me like that.” I added.
He burst out laughing.
“What?” I asked defensively, color creeping up the back of my neck.
“Nothing. You’re just so funny.” he pulled me into a hug.
“Do you forgive me?” I muttered.
“Of course,” he whispered into my hair.
We broke apart.
“So uh… what are you doing up here anyway?”

How was that???
