Snaketail slowly concentrated, speaking words ofthe dark spell. Anytime now, his plan would enact..... But then, he heard the words "Reducto!"
He looked over at Serpens, his skin still slightly pale, but the red gone from his icy blue eyes. Snaketail tried to react, but he was paralyzed. The blue energy collided with him, and he flew through the burning hallway, until he went through a burning door.
Snaketails world ended in pain.

RONS PoV

I was shooting spells left and right; my reductor curse hit Cursebane, who fell; Ginnies Bat Bogey Hex hit Constell right in the face. He floated up into the air, his face covered with bats, which made me laugh. Suddenly, lightning, green lightning, mind you, rumbled in the distance. The Darked dissapeared in masses of red and green comets, flying away. I sighed, holding my arm, which had fallen victim to a Diffindo Curse. I quickly conjured bandages, sighing. Hermione ran out; there was a small curve to her belly, so I had made sure she stayed inside, protecting students as Death Eaters were kept outside. I hugged her.
"Hermione, everything is perfectly fine, we were never in trouble, honey." I said soothingly in response to Hermiones tears.
"I was so worried...." She said, then saw the bandage. "Oh, Ron, are you ok?" She asked urgently.
"Don't worry, I'm fine....." I said.
Harry came to us, followed by Ginny.
"Ron, this is urgent." Harry said. "Dumbledore was talking to us....... A curse. Snaketail left a curse. The Rites of Darkness, Ron. The ones that killed Merlin. Ron, its set for everyone. Everyone we know." Harry said. Hermione gasped, and my jaw dropped.
"Is there a countercurse?" I asked.
"There is one..." Spoke Hermione, her voice slightly cracked from crying. "The one Merlin searched for. The Book of Forever."

HARRYS POV

We searched every book, every fairytale, every map. All of these maps pointed to the north pole. The icy, desolate lands that not even a wizard would touch. Icy Lands of Pain was the name Merlin had given it. He had no choice but to travel to this land.
We bundled up x5. Dumbledore had told me to take something- the gold and red ring of Godric. He stood silently, then apparated.
Even in the six layers of clothing, we could feel the frigid air. We decided to cast hot air around us, the snow cracking or lightly melting at our feet. He walked for hours and hours, out feet aching, our hands sweaty. He made it to a cave, and saw light and felt frigid air even in the hot air bubble.
We found it.

I've finally came back after quite alot of procrastination...

HARRYS PoV

The room was warm, even with a tad bit of colder air in the entrance. After a long tunnel of twisted corridors, we arrived into the main room. It was lit by blue candles, casting an eerie glow. There was a wooden, brown table, with some blood red candles and a book in the middle. I walked to it, slowly, and took it off the shelf. It was bound in black leather, still in good condition, with ancient runes on the cover, golden.
"The Book of Forever....." Hermione said, and she opened it.

The words were in plain English, oddly enough. The first page said, in bold words, THE END OF DAYS.
Hermione looked at it, a quizzical look on her face. The words looked odd, moving....... obviously, me and Hermione were the only ones who caught on.
"The End of Days?" Said Ron.
"NO! RON! THE WORDS ARE CURSED!" I yelled, but too late. The tables lid came off; it wasn't a table, it was a coffin. Black smoke, foul smelling black smoke, leaked from it, and a monster, made of black smoke with red eyes and black, sharp teeth emerged. It formed into a pale man, with red eyes and no pupils, greasy hair and sharpened teeth. He raised his wand.

Ron went in front of Hermione, protecting her and the baby; and went shoulder to shoulder to Ron.
"Dildarious Unes Mesthias!" Yelled the monster.
"Stupefy!" I yelled.
"Reducto!" Yelled Ron. The spells met, almost like Prior Incantatem, only there was nothing connecting the spells; a purple orb from the monster, a blue orb from Ron and a red one from me; the monster yelled in anger, dissappeared in a plume of black and red smoke, and flew away; the spells cause an explosion that knocked us away.
"What was that?"
"A trap." Said Hermione, holding her stomach.



DUNDUNDUN? What will happen next?
