You know that person who you can always count on? Whether or not it is convenient or easy for them, they always come to your aid? It's almost selfish, the way that you depend on them, but then when the situation is turned around, you would do anything for them in return?

That person for me is Plymouth Morgan.

Plymouth came to me in a time where I really didn't have anyone else. Sure, I was Head Girl, everyone loved me, and if they didn't love me, they feared me (which is the second best thing, in my opinion) I should have been on top of the world.

I wasn't, though. Terry was gone, Miles had graduated, Hugo was nowhere to be found, and Nicholai had a son, and a life that was completely separate from mine. Even though I was possibly the most well known student at Hogwarts, I was alone.

But that was when fate brought me Plymouth, and from that day out in the snow forward to today and far into the future, he will always be my best friend.

There is only ever one problem, when it comes to Plymouth. He, like many, found me stunning, and sometimes he acted as if my mere presence was something that he wasn't worthy of. We dated, once, and it was the most fun I had in a terribly long time, both of us were wounded by past relationships, but somehow we could connect with something above that, something that almost made all of that seem like it didn't even matter anymore.

Everything was going well. Very well. Fantastically well.

Until, that is, Daphne Hopton.

Plymouth took Daphne on a date too, which was fine, at the beginning, but quickly became not so good the more they grew together. Sooner than I would have liked, they were together, like a couple. Once again I had made second best. It was like Nicholai all over again. Plymouth picked Daphne over me. Nico picked Kayla over me.

I ended my seventh year with the best friend that I could ever ask for, but nothing more.
