**This is the first part of the chapter, so nothing is really happening...
My eyes refused to open. I had completely exhausted myself doing... what had I been doing again? There was something that I had been upset about before I fell asleep... but it couldn't be that bad, right? I was in the Room of Requirement, made specifically to fit my needs and keep away threats. But there was something off... something just wasn't right. The bed was warmer than usual but... hard. The bed had never been hard... but I could still sleep... and that's all that really mattered: sleep. I ached for more of it, my entire body creaking if I even tried to move, crying out for a few precious more hours, minutes, seconds of sweet, priceless rest. What had I been doing to make me so tired? My brain whined and whirred like a broken machine, the gears and wires not connecting properly enough for me to think. All it did was make my head hurt. With a sigh, I hugged my pillow a little tighter and welcomed the wave of peaceful blackness that once again consumed me.
I don't think I had ever slept that well. Not even at home. Maybe I just needed my mattress to be a bit more firm. My eyes fluttered slowly open, still not quite ready to leave that wondrous sleep. The world slowly came into focus as I examined it. My hand, only dully throbbing now, was the first thing I saw, which was now bandaged perfectly in white cloth, which contrasted beautifully with the blood red silk of the bed's sheets and comforter. Wait...red? My bed had always been white.
I gasped as I realized where I was. This had to be the other side of the screen. Draco's side. Draco's bed. I had been trying to get out... I had fallen asleep with Draco Malfoy cradling me! My mind was still too groggy to take the weight of the discovery, going around and around in meaningless circles of thought that would never get me anywhere. Why was I in Draco's bed?! I turned to hide my face in the comforting warmth of my pillow, trying to block out this terrible nightmare.
Alas, it was no more a nightmare than the object my head rested upon was a silk pillow. A reluctantly forced my eyes open to see a pale chest rising and falling beneath my head. Even without my glasses I could take in the hard edges of muscle as my eyes slowly scanned upward, stopping at the serene face of a silently sleeping Draco. My head was practically in the center of his chest, one arm draped around his thin body as the other clutched the blankets that were draped over both of us. His arms were on top of me, hugging me closer to his chest.
My stomach churned along with my brain as I lay there minute after minute, contemplating a way out of Draco's snug embrace. I could have just stayed put, enjoying the rare moment of peace while he was sleeping, or attempt to twist my way out of his grip, waking him for sure.
I examined his all-too-familiar face once again, sighing as I tried to bring myself to a decision. His face was smooth and pure as he slumbered, unmoving but for the rising and fallingof his chest that moved my head as he breathed. I had never seen him that...content. He wasn't angry or jealous, he wasn't trying hurt anyone. My pride was the only thing stopping me from letting him stay that way. If he woke up with me just laying there, submissive, it would practically be admitting defeat. It would be like giving him an easy step toward winning this war we had come to.
Draco stirred slightly beneath me, sighing contentedly as he attempted to roll over. Finding a body in his way, he flopped lifelessly back to his original position. He grunted questioningly as his eyes scrunched up, slowly opening into a squint. I pretended to be awoken by his movement, lifting my head slightly and groaning sleepily.
"I thought you'd warm up to me," he said, smiling through a wide yawn. Still, he looked slightly surprised to see his arms wrapped so tightly around me. Seeing my opportunity, I jolted upright. Or at least attempted to before he pulled me back down.
"Look, if you want to get out of here you're going to have to let me go. You're sure not going to figure any of this out. You seem just as happy trapped in here as you do on the outside," I muttered angrily, pushing myself upward once again.
"Get a sense of humor, darling, This could be a lovely experience for you if only you would let it," Draco mused as he stroked the hair that was cascading messily down my back. I turned around and smacked his hand away, glaring venomously as he just smiled happily back at me.

I loved it. It was great.
