CHAPTER 9
A Memory In One Million

After escaping her relatively unharmed, James and Albus were able to let McGonagoll let them borrow the Penseive. James to the memory labelled 1, and poured it in the bowl, and bother he put his head in. He was falling, falling, falling, until he finally landed safely on rocky ground, apparently in the middle of a cheering crowd. He was joined by Albus, and they walked up some stairs that were near them, arriving, finally, and saw a sight that they thought they would never see.
Two young men, both with long black hair, were on their knees, and one was too obviously Atrox, and the other similar to the guy that had given them the memory, but much younger. A man ranted about something, and began casting spells unheard by Albus and James, and then cast one at the two kneeling men.
There was a large gust of wind it seemed, and both men just kneeled, looking around. Then several Killing Curses launched, and hit them dead-on, but nothing happened. They smiled as people cheered, and looked to the two men, who would lead them to the large war they were planning. All too easy.
Suddenly, people began appearing, and yells of 'Aurors!' were chorused all over the crowd, and everyone attempted to run. The man who cast the spells fell, the book he had gotten the spells from burst into flames, and Atrox and the other guy ran, ran for dear life, killing curse missing by inches. And they stopped running, when they were a safe distance.
"Immortality....." Atrox's friends said as the memory ended.
