Hogwarts RPG Name: Vera Brinley Thanatos Gryffindor Graduated Hogwarts RPG Name: Mandrake Beery Slytherin Fifth Year | Ece Arslan - Diagon Alley Proprietor Anashti l Brat Pack l Sally & Dr. Finklestein Ece had been more than delighted to accept the invitation to host a booth at Hogwarts, excited to share the knowledge she'd gained over the years on how to open her own business as well as how to be a successful realtor. Certainly the time she'd spent here in the UK had not been without it's challenges thus far, but things for her business (and life) were back on track and she was very much so excited to use this as both a promotional opportunity for herself - as well perhaps inspire and encourage future generations.
The woman had not gone flashy with her booth - despite her intense desire to do so - but instead hinted at her current business with a deep teal shirt laid over her black trousers. She'd also had a purple feather tattoo temporarily placed on her forearm, which rippled every time she moved as if wind were pushing through it. For her section in business and Diagon Alley, she'd simply prepared it to resemble a lemonade stand, complete with a fresh batch to offer anyone who moseyed up. Her primary focus was to encourage the positives of being your own boss - with a realistic smattering of the challenges faced as well. And she couldn't have thought of a better way to do so than by her very first business venture - lemonade.
Double checking once more that her badge was clearly displayed, Ece Arslan - Diagon Alley Proprietor, she took a seat at a folding chair she'd managed to find herself. Offering warm smiles at all the passerbys and remaining alert in case anyone was interested in speaking with her.

| Carsyn Rose; Carsyn's Culinary Creations YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Carsyn was here in a button-down shift dress and white sneakers. A name tag clearly indicating her name and business was placed carefully on her dress. It actually felt somewhat surreal to be back at Hogwarts because it wasn't all that long ago that she graduated, yet at the same time it felt like a lifetime ago. Both so much and so little had happened since 2103 (including an epic battle in the year after her graduation) "Okay that lemonade looks really refreshing," she admitted, realizing only then how parched she was since all the baking prep she'd been doing for this job fair had left her forgetting to hydrate. "Perhaps we ought to have a sign up about the road to true freedom is through being your own boss."

| Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict It had been rather an impulse that had led her to apply for a booth at the job fair, once the news had gone out of it being held. A part of herhad felt like it was a longshot that she would be selected over, as she imagined, many other likely more-qualified applicants, and as such Chrysanthi had waited to let her boss know of the possibility until she had known it was more than just a long shot. The world of cursebreaking was such that there had been a chance she wouldn’t be available, but the fates had intervened. Or so she thought to herself as she had finished up the last bits that were needed to set up her area of the fair. Her mother’s gods had intervened, or something of the sort, and here she was back at Hogwarts. The castle hardly looked as if it had changed much since she had been a student. It seemed like it had been yesterday.
She hardly thought of it as a booth, just a collection of things she felt represented cursebreaking, including a few minor objects she had personally broken the curses on, but the petite strawberry-blonde in the black button-up blouse and trousers had made the best of what she’d been given. She imagined Ms. Bolt would have better, given the other woman was infinitely more established, but she had yet to see the Gringotts head cursebreaker. Just another of the shopkeepers she thought she might have seen on a trip to Diagon Alley, and a girl she thought might have been at Hogwarts when she’d been there. Perhaps. “I would agree with that sentiment”, she spoke up. She fully supported the concept of being one’s own boss. Even if so far she herself wasn’t. It was the goal, anyhow. One day.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Hope Archard Ravenclaw Fifth Year | Penelope Bolt arrived in good time at the job fair booth. Most of the cursebreakers at Gringotts preferred being out and about in the field having adventures, rather than being stuck in a booth doing Q&A for a bunch of students. So Penelope, as Head Cursebreaker, had drawn the task herself--that's why she got paid the big galleons, right? (haha)
But she didn't mind herself--she liked talking to young people, liked their energy and enthusiasm, and she also liked being there to give them a realistic picture of cursebreaking--it wasn't all glamour and riches, there were real risks and some unglamorous tasks as well.
And she also had an ulterior motive--she was keen to get a glimpse of Gion Ingbretson, the gobstones scout. Because if there was anything that excited Penelope (nearly) as much as a good cursebreaking adventure, it was gobstones. She wondered if he would be offended if she asked for his autograph...or maybe that would be too much fangirling. She craned her neck towards the Athletics booths as she laid out her brochures and other materials, both goblin-approved and otherwise (hey, those guys could give her orders on the job or at the bank, but they didn't own her life, thank you very much). Oh, yeah, there he was! Penelope tried not to get too distracted by gobstones as she prepared to meet the public of Hogwarts. |

No Hogwarts event was complete without a lunch break--the House Elves insisted on showing off to visitors, and the guests rather expected it and certainly looked forward to it. But coming back from a delicious repast, what a sight met everyone's eyes! Nearly every booth was in some sort of disarray--a pile of brochures scattered on the floor here, a poster torn off the display board there. Over at the Business and Diagon Alley booth, all the treats brought by those guests in the food preparation industries had been spilled, broken, and in some cases, nibbled on. What a mess! Who, or what could have done such a thing?

Hogwarts RPG Name: Hope Archard Ravenclaw Fifth Year | Penelope left the delicious lunch in an excellent mood. She'd managed sit near Gion Ingbretson and spent the entire hour trying to overhear his conversation, hoping to get some hot gobstones news. She'd been so focused that she'd barely managed to enjoy the good old homestyle Hogwarts House Elf cooking.
But on coming back to their booth, that mood quickly evaporated. "What the bl....blazes has been going on here?!" she demanded of the room in general. Many of the displays and giveaways they'd all brought with them were in disarray, especially the very nice display that her colleague, Chrysanthi Owens, had made. Penelope had been meaning to compliment her on her work, but had been distracted by seeing one of her gobstone idols there, and now it was all a wreck. "Oh, Chrysanthi, your nice displays are all ruined!" she exclaimed to the other woman, "And they were so well-done!" Pen started gathering things up off the floor and laying them back on the booth table. "Are any of your mementos missing?" Good thing all the stuff they brought no longer had curses on it, or they'd really have been in trouble.

Caledon Roth The Leaky Cauldron | Audri Masters; The Pensieve Diner Rhibear ~ Madam Solo ~ Dark Brooding Girl ~ Accio Jedi ~ Gryffinclaw ~ Just a doll It had been so many years since Audri graduated that she’d nearly forgotten how good the house elves’ food was! The company wasn’t bad either. She’d been seated next to her former charms professor and his adorable daughter. Who knew he was into music and classic cars?! Audri certainly didn’t… or maybe she had long ago in her student days and completely forgotten.
After a quick stop in the girls’ loo to freshen up her lipstick and her trademark black and white beehive, she returned to her booth quietly humming a song to herself as she walked. She stopped humming, and her eyes widened at the scene of carnage. Her coupons for the students were scattered everywhere. Her milkshake samples were spilled, and who - or what - had nibbled on her fried cheese curds?! “Goodness gracious great balls of fire! What a mess!” she exclaimed. She kind of liked the trashed, tattered aesthetic, but whoever had done this could’ve asked first!
She sighed, pursing her candy apple red lips, and drew her wand to start siphoning up the spilled milkshake. “Anybody see how this happened, or no?” she asked the other hosts.

| YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Carsyn glanced up when someone said she agreed with that sentiment to beam when she realized it was her former housemate slash distant relative. But her beam didn't last too long as her eyes widened upon the sight of her precious sweets. "Every cupcake seems to have been nibbled on!! By merlin ... why?? Who? What?"
She sighed. Hogwarts was nothing without a little chaos it seemed. Or perhaps a lot of it. "We should alert a professor to this madness unless they're in cahoots to ruin the job fair?" But why would they be unless they were imperiused as surely it was their job to oversee the success these kid's futures.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Vera Brinley Thanatos Gryffindor Graduated Hogwarts RPG Name: Mandrake Beery Slytherin Fifth Year | Anashti l Brat Pack l Sally & Dr. Finklestein Not one to turn down a good meal when offered, Ece had been very eager to close up shop and head to eat the foods prepared by the House Elves. As a Kolodovstoretz graduate, she'd never tasted the food at Hogwarts like some of her current working peers at the job fair - but she'd certainly heard tales told of how delicious it was. She was excited to know first hand. And truly, how that had not disappointed! She might have even eaten too much, as she was feeling the sleepiness that came with a general food coma as she followed the other business owners or employees back to their booth.
It was only the disarray they found and the exclamations of those around her that fully woke her up once more. Her own lemonade stand was knocked over, the magic of the self-filling container thankfully broken by the cracks in the side of it and now missing lid. With a soft sigh, she pulled out her own wand to cast a quick charm to clean up the immediate mess, before looking around at the others and beyond. How long had they been gone for lunch? Did perhaps who or.. whatever did this could still be around? She scanned the hall as she listened to the others, spotting some other areas also having been hit. "I don't think the Professors would have invited us here simply to make a mess of things. That certainly wouldn't benefit the students." She also knew there were parents among them, angering parents with such a waste of time would have been in no one's benefit. "Does anyone seen any foot prints or anything that might be telling? Maybe something left behind that wasn't before?"

And someone should probably nip over to the Ministry booth and see if there are any folks there from M.L.E." Penelope had pulled out her wand now and was testing the area for any lingering magical signatures. |

No matter how hard you looked you would not be able to spot a single clue about the culprit. They had been careful even that hadn’t fully been their intention. Whatever the motive or motives were, this eyesore hadn’t been anyone’s idea of a joke.
There was nothing left to do but to mend the pieces, rearrange all pamphlets and books. The job fair must carry on.
It would be best to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity from this point onwards.

Ezekiel Ransom-Kruus Ollivanders x12 x12
| Lovely™ | Captain Hurted | Ariana's Bane | Resident Antagonist | Unparalleled Delight Though it had been a long, long while since he'd visited the school itself, Zeke found he recognised a great many of the students themselves. Naturally, the vast majority of them would have visited Ollivanders for their wands before starting at the school, and he'd now presided over the place for long enough that he recalled the faces of many of the seventh years. That is, those he had personally seen to, of course.
So he had been just ever so slightly delayed on his return from the lunch break, catching up with a few of the older students who had recognised him, and taken the opportunity to let him know how they were getting on with their wands. And the sight that met him, well... "Crumbs," exclaimed Zeke, taking note of the mess of treats and refreshments. His first thought was some kind of overexcited creature loose - or set loose - on the job fair, but would not, personally, rule out a student (either wayward, or unintentionally heavy-handed. He certainly did not believe the staff were likely to be behind it, for much the same reason as Ece had voiced, nor did he think it was quite necessary to be calling upon law enforcement. At least, not yet.
He did his part to look for some sort of sign or indication as to the culprit but there was, quite frankly, nothing to be found. "Probably kids messing around, or perhaps some kind of animal found its way in, or something. Nothing to do but keep an eye out from now on, I suppose."
And he checked on his own materials - a selection of raw wand woods and cores, plus some information on business admin and the like - just to make sure everything was still in order. _____ It was not necessary for Isak to attend this job fair; though he was still a third year, the path of his own future lay ahead of him as clearly as if it had been paved and then lit with street lamps. He was to follow his own father into their family business. Arrangements had been made, deals agreed on, compromises met. Not only was there no need for him to look elsewhere, but it would be a distraction for all he ought to do in preparation.
Yet he was here, if just to give a certain impression, and Isak - tall for his age, not unconfident, and very smartly dressed, as instructed - opted to approach the business booths. He did so during what appeared to be a simultaneous clean-up effort and some kind of investigation.
Well... anyway. "Does anyone here have any leaflets, perhaps?" he said, stony-faced, though appeared to think better of that after a moment, and instead broke into a well-practiced, twinkling smile.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Hope Archard Ravenclaw Fifth Year | Isak Penelope Bolt finished her investigations. She'd discovered some definite signs of magic in the area, but nothing difinitive--no way to tell what it was, and of course, in a school for witchcraft and wizardry, there was magic floating around all over the place. No footprints or scraps of clothing or fingerprints of any kind. She really hadn't expected to come up with an answer, but she needed to prove that she'd made the effort when it came time to fill out her expense report for the damaged items--Gringotts goblins were very particular about things like that.
Finally she made a few notes in a small notebook she carried with her, put her display back together with a few well placed Reparos, and put her wand away. She then pulled out some more of the brochures she'd brought with her (for of course she'd brought extras). Hearing a young man (Isak) asking about them, she held one out to him. "Here's one on careers in Cursebreaking, and another one on job opportunities at Gringotts Bank, if you're interested." |

Caledon Roth The Leaky Cauldron | I think everybody's in here somewhere ^_^ Rhibear ~ Madam Solo ~ Dark Brooding Girl ~ Accio Jedi ~ Gryffinclaw ~ Just a doll Audri’s candy apple red lips pursed at the cursebreaker’s (Penelope) response. Was it just her or did the word obviously sound a tad condescending? There was nothing obvious about what happened, and that was the problem! No footprints, no nothing! While she had half a mind to point that out, she decided her time would be better spent cleaning up. She finished siphoning up the spilled milkshake, then vanished the nibbled cheese curds.
As she did so, she shot her fellow chef (Carsyn) a sympathetic look. “I know. Whoever did this nibbled all my cheese curds too.” She blinked, unsure what to make of the comment about the professors. Unless Hogwarts had changed more than she thought, the professors were probably the least likely to do this. Someone impersonating a professor, maybe. Two others (Ece & Zeke) voiced what she was thinking, and she nodded in agreement. “I think so too, probably kids or - do you think Peeves could’ve done this?”
However it happened, it didn’t matter. The only thing to do now was to make due with what she had left for the rest of the fair. Audri had just finished resetting her booth, sans free samples, when a student (Isak) appeared. She returned his smile with one of her own. “No leaflets, but I do have coupons,” she replied, her black and white beehive staying firmly in place as she shook her head. “You like milkshakes? This is good for a free one at The Pensieve Diner.” Reaching into her pocket, she produced a clean coupon and handed it to the boy.
