 Long before the Weasleys opened their infamous shop in Diagon Alley, Zonko's was the premier wizarding joke shop in all of Britain. The outside of the shop is bright red, which purposefully makes the building stick out from the others located on High Street. Stop in to pick up all your prankster supplies and have fun, but be sure to tell the professors at Hogwarts you bought them elsewhere should you happen to be caught breaking the rules.
Vivid colours pop out to your eyes and sounds of all pitches fill your eyes upon entering the shop. Items on display are moving around and whizzing above your head, so keep a watchful eye out for things on the ground and above you. There are also large signs posted around the shop that say "BUY BEFORE YOU PRANK!" and "NO DUNGBOMB WARS INSIDE THE SHOP!" courtesy of the shopkeeper, who would be happy to assist you.

Obviously Zonko's was the first on her list. She had a portrait to avenge and not a whole lot of time left to do it. If there's one thing Zoryn Spinnet planned to do before leaving this forsaken school, it was to leave behind a legacy. Only, this flobberworm legacy wasn't the one she was going for. So, alas. Here she was.
The Gryffindor carefully made her way down each aisle with great concentration, a quality she did not normally exhibit. There's a first time for everything, apparently.
What could she possibly use to get back at Maxton Carden?

Kaira walked into the Zonko's joke shop. She had come here about three years back. It had been so long. With her Laila caught up in work and studies, she did not have much time, apparently.
She was looking wondrously at all the joke goodies and that is when she bumped into - ZORYN SPINNET!
To be honest, she wasn't sure she liked her. Sure, she hadn't had ny kind of interaction with this seventh year, but ZOryn Spinnet and her drama had been hard to ignore, even for a firstie Ravenclaw.
'Oh..um..sorry' she said, not ooking very sorry.

It was far too glorious an opportunity to miss so the sixteen year old began selecting items for the cash register when she heard the unmistakable voice of Zoryn Spinnet, along with a child's.
Hmm.
Peering at the scene out the corner of her eye, Núria said nothing but listened curiously. Any chance to observe the most infamous person in this school was welcome indeed.

The child, likely a first year by the looks of her, had quite an attitude about her. Núria found the entire situation rather amusing, especially because both of them seemed genuinely angry at the other just because of, uhm, a lack of disrespect? Núria was all too familiar with the concept of respect, neither Zoryn Spinnet or the first year had any.
Oh? The Hufflepuff sixth year grinned, and shook her head. "Me? Oh, no thank you, but you're very kind for offering," she answered, brushing her hair off her shoulders as she chose another item to buy.

"Why? You're interesting," Núria replied just as quickly as Spinnet had, still smiling. She returned an item she had second thoughts about and eyed the younger girl still doing her thing. Núria assumed that she must have heard about Zoryn Spinnet's ways in much the same way as Núria had last year, so her continued unpleasant words really puzzled the sixth year.
But no matter. Even spunk was not enough to make her take a larger interest in this child, for she was digging her own grave here and Núria just wanted to watch. And maybe ask Zoryn to grab a butterbeer with her afterwards. Or a duel, whatever seemed most fitting.

Honestly, did the child think she was being coy with the "babe"? It was crass, and fell rather flat in her opinion. So much so, that she found her interest declining rapidly. Shame. Núria brushed past the duo to the cash register with the items she'd collected so far, and smiled politely at the shopkeeper. Zoryn was right, this had gone from amusing to boring in a matter of moments.
"So... butterbeer? I'm buying," the Hufflepuff smiled at the seventh year, brow raised and dark eyes twinkling. It definitely seemed more appropriate than a challenge to a duel, and likely much more fun. "Once you're done here of course." She definitely wasn't in any sort of hurry.
