SPOILER!!: Blake wanted to blush .. of course it made sense that Phoebe and her would team out ... as it would make sense that being in the same house Isla and himself would. Blake was making this a bigger deal than it needed to be ... after ... he had just said he didn't want a girlfriend.... and even if he did did he want Bernadette to be his?? He was so confused ... "I suppose you're right." He added, Claudine was already mad at them for hanging out so much best to spread it around... And with that he welcomed the change of subject... but Bernadette had picked one he was rather afraid of... "Merlin's Beard they terrify me." Blake added ... he shuttered thinking about being trapped in that portrait again. "I got stuck in a portrait ... that girl Roberta?? Ever seen her... she came out and I got sucked in." He hadn't talked about it much really, it still scared him. |

"Where?! When was this?!" Of course she felt terrible that she hadn't known about Blake being trapped in a portrait! It didn't explain his general weirdness any, but... "I got in trouble for helping Godric Gryffindor destroy the Dueling Arena," she admitted in something of an effort to make him feel better. "He was going to fight some Slytherins." It had been neat, but now she did regret it, so... |

And then she mentioned to thing about Gryffindor! "I heard there was some ruckus in the dueling area! I had no idea you were involved!" Why did that surprised Blake thought. Whenever there was a commotion it seemed that Bernadette was around. "... I ahh... may have fainted in front of Slytherin to." He added thinking back to their last DADA class... he had hoped not too many people would have noticed. And trying to make things on a happier note .... "So what did you name your baby?" He asked, thinking that he would have to take his 'baby' tonight again ... ugh ... so little sleep. |
Quote:
She sighed a little and looked at her mug sadly. "Yes, twas I." She thought about elaborating, but then he mentioned his fainting, and she giggled in relief because she wouldn't have to talk about her gullible moment. "I thought that's what had happened to you!! How do you think the professors are going to get all these founders to go back to wherever they came from?" And was it even possible to do so??? Bernie took another sip if butterbeer and grinned. "Finneas. He's Finneas James-Grantham." Not named after anyone in particular or anything, hehe. |

"I don't know how ... maybe they will have to 'chase' them back to their portrait. The one that fell out of mine didn't get very far, but I have a feeling if she did I would have been stuck in there even longer." Blake was very grateful to be out. "How do you think they'll do it?" "Oh man! You got a boy!! I wanted a boy!" Blake thought back to the decision him and Isla made, he gave in pretty easily on the girl thing... maybe he should have put up a bigger fight. "My 'daughter's' name is Ellie." |
Quote:
"I wonder if there's a spell for that," she mused. "Right? Has this every happened before? Maybe they're coming out because no one was here all of last year...." She didn't know, but she was SO curious. She kind of wanted to see Godric Gryffindor hang out in their common room and kick it with Sir Nick and stuff though. Hehehehe, he wanted a boy? "You should have picked out a boy!" Bernie chided him with a chuckle. "Oh," ew, the name Ellie was like, SOOOOOOOoooooooo basic, "that's interesting." Isla probably picked it out name, didn't she? |
Ali/Claudine <3 Heath has been looking forward to Hogsmeade since he saw the notice in the Ravenclaw common room. It was nice to get a break from the castle and homework He let go of her hand to open the door, and a blast of warm air hit him as he stepped inside the pub. "Where shall we sit?" he asked, his dark eyes scanning the room for an empty table. He already had an idea where Claudine would want to sit, but he'd let her pick their table. |
open Ashley entered the building. She had mixed feelings about this visit. On the one hand, it was a new and interesting place. Yay. But on the other hand, Hogwarts had been a new place, and look how she had ended up. The year hadn't been all bad though. She had good friends. She had nice teachers. She just didn't think the school was very safe, was all. On the other hand, neither was real school. So she decided to just accept the fact that her life was different now. She sat down at a table wearily, deciding to order a hot cocoa, for the sake of getting something here while she was sitting down. She wished someone she liked would come along and make things interesting. Not interesting in the way of getting dragged around by an invisible monster though. More like... having a nice conversation. That would be good. She relaxed at her seat, contemplating whether she should find someone or just wait here for a while. It was so nice in here, as opposed to the cold outdoors. So she sat there peacefully. If someone ran into her, that would be ok. But being alone... would also be ok for once, she supposed. |
SPOILER!!: Heath! <3 Claudine was one hundred percent certain she knew what Heath was thinking, and it put a smile on her face. She found that she liked to surprise him. It was a pity that he couldn’t see her smiling though, given the fact that her Slytherin scarf was covering the lower portion of her face. Truth be told, she had surprised herself by agreeing to let him hold her hand. Claudine had always seen physical contact as invading someone’s personal space but with Heath, it was different. In any case, she liked holding his hand. She just hadn’t got around to telling him that as yet. Being the gentleman that Heath was, Claudine was not surprised that he opened the door for her. Yet again she wondered why he hadn’t been placed in Hufflepuff. “Thanks,’’ the girl said and welcomed the warmth that enveloped her. She pulled the scarf away from her face. “Hmmm. At the back?’’ A slight smile tugged her lips. “Isn't that our thing?’’ And with that, she began making her way to one of the tables where they’d have a good view of at least most of the pub. |
SPOILER!!: Claudine <3 If Heath had seen Claudine’s smile behind her scarf, he would have smiled with her, not his usual slight one, but the one that made his entire face light up, the one he reserved only for her. She still got a small smile, even without him seeing hers, though he blinked at her words. Didn’t she know she didn’t have to thank him for opening the door for her? He was only doing what a gentleman was supposed to do! For one fleeting moment, he wondered if she was warm enough. All she had to do was say the word and that Star Wars jacket would’ve been draped around her shoulders, but he saw she was already removing her scarf. And there was that smile! She had the sweetest smile, did she know? There was no way he could not smile along with her, but his smile gave way to a slight chuckle at her words. “How did I know you were going to say that?” he said. She was right; sitting in the back was their thing! He followed her to the table, pulling out one of the chairs for her. “Your seat, madam,” he said in a pompous voice, giving an exaggerated bow and a quick wink to let her know he was acting. He took the seat beside her, gazing at her lovingly for a moment. He wanted to give her a little kiss on the cheek but hesitated. Was that okay? Maybe it would be too weird with other people around. For now, he would wait. “Do you know what you’re getting?” he asked, trying to distract himself from his thoughts. |
SPOILER!!: Heath <3 Silly Heath with his handsome smile. Didn’t he know she had to thank him? It just felt wrong not to. Whenever anyone was nice to her, Claudine was nice to them in return. And yes, she was warm enough. She let her scarf dangle around her neck so that the ends hung down over her front. Heath need not worry about her. Did she make him chuckle? It certainly seemed so. “Hmm. I wouldn’t be able to say.’’ She played the innocent card but of course she knew why: she always chose to sit at the back of rooms. Heath did too so Claudine figured her choice now would suit him as well. It was soon her turn to chuckle. “Thank you, kind Sir,’’ came her reply with an incline of her head. Not many saw the extroverted side of her, but when she was comfortable with someone, this was how she usually acted. That look. Claudine recognised it immediately and it made her blush lightly. Still not fully comfortable with PDAs, she was glad for a change in topic. “Um...butterbeer and a brownie.’’ Apparently her sweet cravings were being loud today. |
SPOILER!!: Claudine <3 Heath’s chuckle became a full-fledged giggle at Claudine’s words. Could she not say because she didn’t know how he knew that or because the reason was one she wouldn’t want other people to hear? The thought crossed his mind to ask, but realizing how weird that question was, he decided against it. Hearing her chuckle at his acting made him laugh even more. Merlin, she needed to stop making him laugh before he drew the attention of everyone in the room! Not really… he was just kidding; he loved seeing her playful side. She could make him laugh as much as she wanted! “Anytime,” he replied, no longer acting. Noticing Claudine’s blush, Heath averted his gaze. The sight made him blush a little too, but hopefully his hair would hide it. He was grateful for the distraction when Claudine told him her order. “I think I’ll have the same,” he said. He was planning to get a butterbeer anyway,, and the brownie sounded too good to pass up! “So… I guess I’ll go put our order in” he asked, already getting up from his seat. Uhh… was he supposed to pay for her food, or would she want to do it herself? His family’s views on chivalry demanded that the gentleman pay for his date, but he was quickly learning that not all of his family’s teachings applied to Claudine! |
SPOILER!!: Heath <3 Claudine was slightly taken aback. Was she funny? She hadn’t the foggiest but now? Heath was making her think otherwise thanks to all his laughing. This actually made her quite pleased with herself. She was hilarious and could make someone laugh whenever she wanted to. This was a talent to add to the list. But wasn’t Heath the nicest? Anytime. Claudine could tell that he had gotten serious and meant the word. Just look at them though: a blushing couple. Claudine could see Heath’s face through the strands of his hair but that was only for a couple of seconds. Pretty soon, she was fishing in her bag, that small one she’d use during that time on their Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes trip last summer; the same one with the Undetectable Extension Charm cast on it. Heath would be right- the girl did want to pay for her snacks. She was an independent little lady… well, as independent as she could get. “Heath… I know you’ll want to pay but how about this? I’ll pay for the brownies and you for the butterbeer?’’ Claudine slid a galleon across the table to him. It seemed like the perfect teamwork to her and she hoped Heath would see it that way too. |
SPOILER!!: Claudine <3 Heath noticed that Claudine seemed a little taken aback, though he wasn’t sure why. Maybe she wasn’t used to hearing him laugh that much? That must be it! He wasn’t usually so giggly, only when he was around her. Before he had much time to think about it, he saw her fishing through her bag. Well, that settled his question about payment! He wasn’t at all surprised that Claudine wanted to pay - or at least help pay. Her independent streak was one of the things he loved most about her, even if it did make following his family’s chivalry rules very confusing! He smiled, nodding slightly. “Okay, that’s fair,” he said, picking up the galleon. He rummaged through his wallet for ten sickles to put with it; then he was off. He returned a few minutes later with a tray bearing two brownies and two butterbeers. As he set it on the table, the thought occurred to him to act like a waiter. Maybe that would make Claudine laugh again! “Butterbeer and brownie for you, ma’am,” he said with that wink he always did to tip her off when he was acting. “Can I get you anything else?” |
SPOILER!!: Heath <3 Truthfully? Claudine had been a little worried that Heath might disagree with her. She knew all about how he had been raised in terms of being a complete gentleman. But he agreed with her and this made her very happy. Claudine figured that it might have been weird or difficult for him. Still… you know what? She couldn’t help but like him even more because for her, he always tried his best to make her happy. It was something she was grateful for but could never bring herself to tell him. Maybe someday.... Her gaze barely left him as he went to get their snacks. “Claudine Blaze, you’ve turned into a sap,’’ the girl told herself with a small chuckle. With Heath back, Claudine was about to tell him ‘thank you’ when he clearly went into acting mode once more. The Slytherin started laughing quietly then quickly cleared her throat. “Oh no, Sir. That will be all. Have a scarf for your troubles. You look a little chilly.’’ And saying so, she removed the scarf for her shoulders and held it out. |
SPOILER!!: Claudine <3 If Heath had known what Claudine was thinking, he would’ve assured her that she didn’t make anything weird or difficult for him. He was just confused because all he knew about love came from plays, books, and his family’s teachings, but what those things told him to do and what Claudine wanted were two opposite things sometimes and asdfjkl!!! He had no idea what he was doing! But he wouldn’t have it any other way! Heath’s face lit up as he heard Claudine’s quiet laugh… that laugh that always made his heart flutter. He was so overwhelmed with love for her that he almost didn’t hear what she said. Oh, she was holding out her scarf? Was he supposed to actually take it or…? He blinked, slightly taken aback, but like a good actor, he stayed in character. “Thank you for your patronage, ma’am,” he replied, taking the scarf and loosely draping it around his neck. So… did she want it back now or was he supposed to keep it until they left? No longer in character, he sat beside Claudine, picking up his own mug of butterbeer. “To us…” he said quietly. |
SPOILER!!: Heath <3 Maybe it was a good thing that Claudine wasn’t the typical girl. Maybe her being different was to keep Heath on his toes and not allowing to become bored with her. Whatever the case, she was relieved that they were working well together and that compromising was not something they hesitated in doing. It was still difficult to understand how she could ever make the Ravenclaw’s face light up like that but the fact was, she did. Claudine was still getting used to this. “You’re quite welcome, Sir.’’ And she was very much pleased to see Heath wear the scarf around his neck. A Ravenclaw wearing a Slytherin scarf. How amusing that was for it made the Slytherin smile again. In that moment, she made up her mind: Heath could keep her scarf if he wanted. Claudine’s gaze fixed on Heath as he returned to sitting beside her. She picked up her own mug. “To us,’’ she said happily and clicked her mug lightly against his. She took a healthy swig afterwards, enjoying the additional warmth the beverage brought as she swallowed. “Thank you,’’ the girl added. “For the date and for letting me help you pay.’’ |
