"Psssssshhhtttt...." That was the exact noise he made. Even if his prefect stuff got on top of him, Theo would never quit Quidditch. In fact, he would rather quit being a prefect, to be honest. But he was too awesome for that. He could TOTALLY handle both. "You've got nothing to worry about there, trust me." He hoped that his broomsticking skills were okay, since he hadn't played all summer and all. Copying her shrug, Theo didn't really know how to answer her comment. It wouldn't be until the start of term till he found out what kind of captain Derry would be. "You can only do your best." That worked. He smiled then continued on with his brownie. It was so yummmm... Huh? Theo looked up again when she started getting all serious. ROLE MODELS. Those words were kinda freaky, but Theo couldn't help but grin like a mischievous child. "You bet we are. I can't wait." Insert evil kenevil laughing heeeeeere. |

The almost third year forced to smile while she looked at the older girl when she asked how her summer had been. Her summer had been HORRIBLE! Her mom officially hated her father and it was strange, but her uncle, the brother from her father was also fighting with her mom, but why she didn't knew... And she didn't wanted to ask it, afraid to turn all the bad attention to herself. She had the impression that he uncle wanted to talk to her, but her mother always ordered her to leave the room when something like that happened, so she didn't really knew what was going on. But... She didn't wanted to look like somebody who needed the sympathy from others! No... She refused to show ANYBODY that she wasn't so happy at the moment, so she forced herself to smile again at the older girl and... she lied. "My summer was great, thank you for asking! And how are you doing?" While she spoke she was happy that she had lied so often during her previous school year, she was sure that she sounded convincing, or... she hoped it... |

She shook her head at his question. "I loved it there," Schuyler answered. "It's just that my family had to move because of my dad's job." And she was getting used to it here; it wasn't so bad. Just different. She wasn't sure what year this boy was, only that he was certainly younger than her. "Have you been to Hogwarts before?" |

He pressed another button and a Snickers was served to him. Hmm... what else should he get? He stopped examining the machine, and looked at her as she explained her reasons. "I used to live in Saudi Arabia before we learnt I'm a wizard." So he knew what it was to move with family. It generally sucked, but he didn't share his opinion with her. She looked happy. "Yeah. I'll start my second term." He got one from what she had, and turned to her again. "Do you play Quidditch there too?" |
Text Cut: Sonea Cassia re-positioned the trunk and sat it next to her as she leaned a bit on it. The cage was a feet away, though. Maybe someone would steal it and she'd get rid of her evil owl! YEAH?! Someone steal it please? Would it be too fishy if she out a sign? Probably. Tearing her attention from the cage, she turned to the younger girl. "Glad to hear that," She responded to the girl's answer. Y'know, it was summer, everyone should have fun, because although school was fun with friends and such, some things would still be missed. Like for the fifteen-year old, she missed riding her bike around her town. Also, her cats. "I have had a very enjoyable summer," She answered smiling. Her summer was very interesting. She had lots of fun and barely got time to sit at home and do nothing! "How're your rats?" She asked motioning to the two that were perched on Sonea's shoulders. Was it weird to ask about them? She hoped not. She and her friends checked on each others pets so hopefully Sonea wouldn't find it weird. Pets were important you know. So asking about them was a good thing. And Cassia already knew that the third-year cared about her pets so she might like knowing people were checking on them. |

Whoa, what? "Saudi Arabia?" She repeated, lifting a neatly manicured eyebrow. He didn't really fit the bill when it came to looking like a Saudi Arabian. "That's a unique place to live." She wondered if he would elucidate. And she hoped he might, but somehow, she doubted it. He seemed a little reserved. Aaha, a second-year. Excellent, so here was someone who could actually give her some insight. "And how's Hogwarts, then?" He was returning, so she could only assume that he liked it all right. "I made the team this past year, for the first time. I'm not sure if I'll pursue it at Hogwarts.. we'll see," she shrugged. "Why, do you play?" And if he had played for a school team as a first-year, she would certainly have to commend him for that. Just as she was taking another gummy worm from the package, the realization that they didn't know one another's names suddenly hit her. "I'm Schuyler, by the way." |

"My mum had me picking up my room and stuff, but not doing actual cleaning spe... work. I'm afraid she'll have me do all he work if she she knew what all I'd mastered last term. Chip?" |

Why was she raising her eyebrow like that? Little boy just stared at the stranger girl. "Yeah, it is. There's this international school where all the foreigner children go to, though, and there're also neighbourhoods for us. So where we lived wasn't that unique." Whatever she meant by 'unique'. He shrugged. "My family's still there." That was why they dropped him here as early as they could to catch the plane--he wasn't going to think about them. Not while there was a stranger girl ready to laugh at him because he missed his family already. He checked the price tags of some items, and entered the number for chips. He stuffed that to his pocket too. It was ten pounds spent on sweets that would keep him nourished at the so-called feast. He knew he looked funny with sweets poking out of his pockets, but who cared? He hoped they wouldn't fall as he walked. Now she had his full attention. It took all his will not to snort at her question. "Well..." Well, well, well. He wasn't going to lie to her. He couldn't lie to anyone. "The school was broke last year, so we had to pay for everything. Food was awful. We cleaned the castle by ourselves. We even washed our clothes." He made a face. Did she understand why he'd bought so many sweets? Could she stop eyeing his pockets? "But the lessons were so much fun. They still say the education quality is top-class." He shrugged. He didn't have anything to compare it with. Maybe she would enlighten him, having seen the American school before. He couldn't lie to her, but he could not tell some stuff. He didn't want her to be worried, after all. He just wanted her to prepare herself for a bit of cleaning. So he didn't mention the dementors and ice-cream. Hogwarts was still a safe school... hopefully. "The Headmistress promised to solve this money issue, though. We'll see." So America had Quidditch too. So she was a player. "Why? You didn't like playing?" Was she hit by a bludger? Was that why she was reluctant to try out again? Or maybe the rules were different. ...haha, funny she was. Asking whether he played. "No, I'm not talented enough." His voice was bitter a tiiiiiiiny bit. He just hoped she wouldn't notice. "I'm Forrest. Nice to meet you." Smile. |
I'm soooo sorry that i was late, i had no inspiration :( Quote:
Oh, Cassia didn't have saw that she had lied about her summer, that was good... Hmm, all the lies she had told during her second year were helping her now! Relieved that she didn't needed to tell the other girl about her summer she tried to focus on other thinks, think like....... candy! "Oh, i'm clad that you had a nice summer, but are you also happy to go back to school? Because i have missed it to be here" said the third year old while she crossed her legs and and tried to look inside her pocket. "Do you want some candy?" She herself wanted to eat something, but it would be rude to eat alone while the other girl had nothing, so she offered her some of her own, trying to be nice, and yes, that was possible! With her chin lifted she looked at Cassia while she asked a question about her rats! A smile was now visible on her face and she looked quick at her two little friends. They are doing fine, but Sir Blue, the baby rat", she pointed at the blue rat on her shoulder, is growing too fast, and he is eating a LOT food, more than his mom Little princess..." The third year old frowned and wondered how big her rat would be when he was a adult... "And... is that yo owl?" she pointed at the cage and tried to look again if the owl was safe locked inside his or her cage. "He isn't hungry now, right?" she asked worried while she eyed her two rats, checking if they still were sitting safe on her shoulder. |
Melek Sönmez had managed to lose her father for a few moments of peace before having to cross over to the Hogwarts Express platform. She didnt want to see her father right now. It was making her a little sad though she wanted to be at the school already. Her mother stayed at the Public Square which she could have gone back to, to see her mother for the last time until she goes home for the holidays. Melek frowned and sighed, wondering why her mother had to be a muggle. Her father and her had magic... but at it was better than her best friend who was a muggle born... though she doubt that her parents would disown her like Anna's parents did to her. She felt bad for her friend and wished that her parents could adopt Anna but at least Anna got her sister reowned by the parents. Melek couldnt think of any reason why Anna's parents would be so scared that they disowned her but eh, she didnt understand a lot of things though she did love to learn. Mel looked around, burying into her coat. She frowned and leaned against a free space on the wall. Melek closed her eyes and tried to relax. Her stomach was growling at her and she frowned, clutching at her stomach. She didnt know what to get and she opened her eyes, looking at the different snack things she could get. Nothing looked familiar and she longed to be back in Turkey, eating her Nana's kebab. Melek saw her father coming so she quickly hid in the crowd. |
Kimmy/Astrid <3 Hayley was somewhat upset, especially since this was the first time in a long time that she was going anywhere without her sister. She didn't know how she was going to survive that long without seeing Hayden but her sister was going to Durmstrang. It just wasn't fair. How could they separate them? It wasn't fair at all. "Chocolate." Chocolate would make her feel better, right? So heading to the western concourse place after her momma dropped her off at the station, she clutched her little bit of muggle money as she entered the store and tried looking for some chocolate to eat. All her candy was in her trunk and she wasn't supposed to eat any of that until she got to school. Besides, she didn't want to mess up her trunk. It was all neat and packed and messing it up now would be a waste. |

The trolley was pushed forward towards the concourse and let it come to a rest behind a girl. Queues. He looked around the area for a sign of the man who shared quite a few of his physical attributes. Like Turning his attention back towards the concourse and at the food on display. Sweets! He'd need PLENTY of that! And maybe a sandwich or two as well. Maybe he should get something for his Dad too? With this in mind, the boy moved forwards, and past the girl, reaching for his wallet. It was only as he looked down that he noticed the girl's shoes... which was behind him now... and then... the fact that... ... had he pushed forwards in the queue? "Oh... sorry, I didn't mean to--" ... Pause. Head!tilt. "You okay?" Because frowny girl was frowny. And she was clutching onto her stomach. She... wasn't sick, right? |

... And this was one of the moments when Astrid couldn't make up her mind. SO MUCH FOOD. CAN'T PICK ONE. Starry eyes on those sandwiches over there. And a can of soda over there too. And a chocolate bar. Yes, TAKE THEM ALL. The brunette paid for all of those and shoved most of them into her bag. Oh, hey. Lookit. Lonely kiddo over there. Astrid awkwardly approached her. Awkward. Heh. Hi. "... You okay?" Cue the concerned face. |
Quote:
Then, there was a tall person who decided to talk to her. She nodded once, slightly unsure of herself. "I think so?" she said, taking a nibble at her chocolate. "Thank you for your concern, though, miss." |
Quote:
Everything was confusing here? "Erm... what are you confused about?" His grey-blue eyes flew between her and the food at the concourse. Was it because of the food? If so, the boy had no problem in recommending something. Maybe a BLT sandwich, if the girl fancied it. "Do you need some assistance, Miss--" ... she had disappeared. BLINK. "What..." Behind him. Yeah. This did not help with the boy's confusion. In fact, it only made things worse. He looked around, wondering if something -- or someone -- scary had popped up before looking over his shoulder at the girl hiding behind him. "What... what are you doing?" |

... And then his eyes landed on the guy. A guy who was yelling and heading over towards their direction. ... Oh. OH. He shot a furtive glance over at the girl crouching behind him and then around. Think, Summers, THINK. The Hufflepuff reached over and pulled his trolley closer towards him. Then, feigning a look of half-confusion and half-panic, he started rummaging around his bag for something. And then, in a very low voice that only she could hear, he said, "Erm... hey. Why are you hiding from the guy?" |

... Oh. Angry. "But... why is he going to be angry? You're not running away, are you?" Did this mean that things were bad over at this girl's house? He... hoped not. "I... hey! Maybe... maybe he won't be so mad if I was nearby..." You don't shout at people in front of strangers, yeah? Or... maybe this would make the man even madder. Because the girl was small and she was talking to a complete stranger. ... Confused Summers was confused. |
Alexaaaaaaa One would expect Isidora to be more excited, or excited at all, about returning to Hogwarts for her sixth year. But when you were going from complete and total freedom to do whatever you wanted whenever you wanted, it was hard for the sixth year Ravenclaw to be excited. Even if she'd gotten a new badge to go along with the new year. She actually wasn't all that thrilled about that part either, but this was to be expected of Dora. Pushing her sleeves back up to her elbows, the upperclassmen sauntered through the concourse, all but ignoring anyone who wasn't of interest to her. She didn't have on her badge. Nope, it was shoved deep in her pocket. Just your not-so-average Ravenclaw passing through here. |

Lex made her way back through the wall and over to the Western Concourse. Last time she was on this side of the train station she'd gotten herself some muggle cookies. Not half bad either. Now if only she could remember where exactly. Securing her Kneazle in her hands, she spun a few times to make sure she hadn't walked by the little counter shop and ended up spotting someone she wouldn't have minded running into at all. Lex was about to shout but thought better of it and hurried to catch up to her instead. "Hey." She said, falling into step with her. "First familiar face I've run into since I got here." |
Quote:
Dora smiled either way, since she did approve of the younger lioness. "You plan on carrying that around the entire train ride?" She inclined her head towards the creature in question and did a fair job of not making any faces. when you delt with an ocelot on a regular basis for almost a year, kneazles where somewhat more tolerable. |
Quote:
She glanced briefly at her kneazle. "Yeah, I do every year. He's not exactly in to cages, get's real grouchy after I take him out." Kneazle attacks weren't necessarily the best things. They were nothing like when she started picking on Atole and he wanted her to go away but they came close enough. "Usually he's got at least half a seat to himself or my lap." While they walked she still kept her eyes peeled for the cookie sellers. Their double chocolate chips weren't half bad for muggle cooking. "You looking forward to this term?" Most everyone else seemed to be...'cept her. She was taking it in strides for now. |
Quote:
"All kneazles are grouchy." Just saying. Dora looked at him, and again didn't look too disgusted. "Maybe this is why we don't sit together on the train. My jarvey doesn't get caged, and also attacks kneazles." Trained that way he was. I had only backfired a little when it came to Alice and Vesper. Looking forward to this term? "...... No, I can't say that I am." For numerous reasons. "What about you?" Dora reached into her pockets and fiddled around with her spare change. |
