Bree entered the platform with her foster mother feeling a bit skiddish as the gravity of what happened this summer and where it was leading her now. It felt unbelievable but at the same time it was hair raisingly terrifying. But she knew this new wizarding world is where she belonged and she had never felt a sense of belonging in her adptive muggle family, there always felt like there was something missing as much as she knew they loved her. Bree looked up toward her adoptive mother with loving eyes and said, "I'm gonna be ok, you will always be with me inmy heart but I have to do this", Bree said and gave her adoptive mother a hug and she gave her the nod of going ahead as a single tear streamed down her face, as she saw platforms 9 and 10 but where was platform 9 3/4. She took a closer look and saw a few people running right at the wall and fazing through it. Is this it, it could be considering the magical part of all this, I'll try it. Bree backed her cart of belongings up between platforms 9 and 10 and ran toward the middle wall and then braced herself for impact and then fazed right through wall. Her eyes widened as saw the Hogwarts express right before her eyes. This was it, her eyes started to water realizing her new life a witch was beginning right now.

What's its name?" he asked, nodding at the feline.
What was it to him? Did this girl not appreciate how nice and caring he was being, as fake as it was? Er, RUDE, little kid. "Just curious," he said, shrugging his shoulders, "And I don't want to be falsely accused of trying to kidnap you." Because that was what it was going to look like when her worried parents came rushing into King's Cross to find her talking to a strange teenage boy. Or as if he was the one who had convinced her to run away.
She was going to set him up.
"Where you off to, anyways?"
Still talking, are we? Maddison glanced over at the boy and considered ignoring his question in hopes of him moving on. She did still need to see someone go through the wall, though. Perhaps if she talked to this kid, she could convince him to go through first. That way she'd be able to get on her way. Yeah, that was her new plan. "S'a kneazle and his name is Zeus."
Kidnapped, though? Maddison raised her eyebrows slightly, thinking that was quite a dumb assumption. She was a kid, with a trunk and a pet, hanging out near the entrance to the platform that would take her to Hogwarts. Either this kid wasn't good at putting together the pieces or he was wildly unobservant. "I'm going to Hogwarts." D-to the-UH. "Same place as you, I'm guessing."

Marisol was brave. She went up to the youngest-looking witch around. "First year?" she asked. "What house?"
Did she have some sort of sign on her forehead that flashed 'Talk to me' because for whatever reason, Maddison was getting approached by lots of people today. She shifted her gaze to the girl who'd approached her and leaned against the trolley, eyebrows raised. "First year and I think that's up to the hat, isn't it?" The sorting hat...that sorted people. Yeah.
She was smirking too at the look on the boy's face. Feeling left out, then? Maybe he wasn't so important after all.

So he wanted her to run at a wall? Was this for real? "Are you trying to trick me?" Because that wouldn't be the first time that somebody had tried to take advantage of her lack of knowledge on all things magical. It's a door... "No, no, it's clearly a wall." She was just about to protest and even thought about looking for somebody who had all their marbles to help her.
Blink. Blink. O____o
He just went through the wall right before her very eyes. She looked around to see if anybody else had seen him, but it looked like business as usual. Aubrey took a deep breath and decided that she too would go for it. If she ended up crashing then she was going to hunt this Ian down.
Both hands on her cart she took off full speed. Her body tensed and she braced herself for impact. Her eyes were wide as she realized that she just walked through a wall. "That was awesome." She had to resist the urge to fist bump in the air. "Can we do that again?"
The Egyptian witch cupped the underside of the boy's face and planted a big fuchsia kiss on his lightly freckled nose. Cutty had learned not to move, nor make a sound during such moments. Not too look anything but pleased as other emotions would trigger her resistance and right now, he wanted to be on his own.
As quickly as possible.
He held frozen then as the his mother hugged him.
She didn't want to say anything and she didn't, but it was more difficult than she imagined having him away for most of the school year and then again during the summer. At first she sort of liked it, and at times she still did. Time apart and all that. But now it just felt like the distance was poisoning him. Both of them. Exacerbating the situation. They didn't know each other and that was deadly. Maybe she wouldn't send him to Cairo next summer. Or else she'd go with him.
"I'll see you in Hogsmeade, then. Behave yourself." She said releasing him from her hug. HER hug. He did not engage save for letting it happen.
Cutty fully intended to. Did she think he wanted to be found out and caught? "Moom?" He began. "I'm sorry about Jolie."
"She'll grow her fur back." Soheir gave as good as an 'I forgive you' to her boy. But she didn't exactly, because she hadn't fully believed that he'd meant his words, because she didn't fully believe that he understood what was even wrong with his chosen course of actions. And not just the shaving down of her pet puffskein. It was everything. From throwing his own birthday party in order to obtain a toy he wanted to potioning a Professor. Something was wrong beyond anything she had imagined it could be. And if Healer Farhat couldn't see it, or perhaps refuse to diagnose it, as Soheir had suspected, then she was going to figure it out on her own. Quietly. Privately. Without Cutty ever knowing. But she'd need help.

Caleb had let his hair grow out over the summer. No particular reason WHY, he just kind of wanted a change and he was too lazy to go to the barber or ask his mum to cut it for him. He wasn't going to let it get long enough to put into a ponytail, though. That was TOO long. But tucking it behind his ears was good.
As he walked, pushing his trunk along with the new owl cage, holding his precious new baby Scooter, he stopped when he spotted a familiar face. CUTTY. And not just Cutty - Cutty and MUMMY CUTTY? Hehehe. He couldn't pass this up.
"HI CUTTY!" he called in excitement. It looked like it was a tender moment between mother and child and Caleb was totally going to take the opportunity to interrupt it.

Today was the day he had been dreaming about since forever. Today was the day that Kyroh Scabior went off to Hogwarts. And nothing was standing in his way.
Except for a wall.
Psssh. Kyroh knew how the wall worked. You ran through it and then MAGIC HAPPENED and then bam you were at Platform 9 3/4, the exact platform to take the train to Hogwarts. But he didn't want to go with his parents. He wanted to go at it alone. Today was a special day, which was obvious because GLO was here, and Kyroh couldn't even remember the last time that his papa and mum and Glo were in the same place together. And because it was so special doing it by himself made sense right? Ushering his parents to go through first - first Glo, then Thea and then Kyroh waited until his dad had gone through, leaving him behind with his trolly.
Adjusting his backward hat, Kyroh turned to his trolly struggling for a bit before he positioned it just right.Without another thought he took off straight into the wall, and for a split second a rush of fear washed over him.
He was never going to make it through this wall.
He was going to die before he even got to Hogwarts.
But the impact didn't come. Instead Kyroh passed right through the wall - a clean entrance onto platform 9 3/4.
"KNEW I COULD DO IT" The eleven year old yelled. "All by myself too!!" Noooow where had his parents gone?

Angel looked at the girl. "Well stop acting like it then." Angel giggled, seriously, she needed to lighten up sometime. "patient my young grasshopper." Angel beamed at the girl. "We will both make it through the wall with plenty of time to spare." Angel really was going to go through in a minute.
"Well that is great." Angel smiled, not that she was scared or anything she just was wondering what it was like to crash into a wall at full speed, she was starting to think about what a racing car driver must be going through before crashing.
"Oh yeah." Angel said, pretending that she had forgotten. "What you waiting for me for?" Angel knew full well but this girl needed to calm down and Angel was going to help her achieve that.
Pffft. "Fine...Fine..." Whatever she said. Young grasshopper? She did NOT just say that. "I'm not a grasshopper and I'm certainly not that young." This girl was starting to get into her nerves. "And I think we're in the same age." Or maybe she was older than her? Nah. They looked like they're in the same age. "Yeah. I hope so." She mumbled.
Great? So was that mean she's going through it now?
Bliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiink. This girl seriously need to check her brain. "I'm waiting for you to get through that wall."HELLO!"And what's your name again?"

"Newell. What's up? You let your hair grow long." And actually Cutty quite liked it, but he wasn't going to let Caleb know that. He thought it gave him a sort of edgier look. Sort of rock 'n roll. Cutty thought that would come in handy. He could tell all the Professors that Caleb was going through an identity crisis.
"Hippy."
"So who was that little tottie you were talkin' to on the train ride home? Was she yer gehlfriend?" He was talking about Hope Evans, the little Ravenclaw girl. "I saw the way you were lookin' at her." And also, the look Caleb gave him for being rude, which Cutty either knew was for being rude and was ignoring that or really thought Caleb was personally defending Hope for obvious reasons.

Angel smiled at the girl. "Okay then." Angel was not sure about the grasshopper because this girl was so acting like one and Angel thought that it was cure. "Don't worry, be happy." Angel giggled she loved that song and thought the girl needed to hear it.
"Oh yeah that was it." Angel giggled, she knew full well what the other girl was waiting for. "I'm Aubrey Valentine but you can call me AJ." Angel lied and with that she didn't even wait for a reply to the question. She just raced through the barrier. Angel didn't want to be late after all.

This would be quick. Marigold hugged her parents goodbye and took her trolley. She was a pro at this by now. Casual walking happened... then Platform 9 3/4. Woot. HOGWARTS HERE SHE COMES.
She was smirking too at the look on the boy's face. Feeling left out, then? Maybe he wasn't so important after all.
At the not-so-friendly look on the girl's face, Marisol's nervous smile darkened. This witch probably wasn't the best one to talk to. She didn't seem very nice. Whatever. Might as well; you never know someone the first time you see them. For all she knew, Mari could be quite wrong.
Now this sassy girl was saying something. The eleven-year old could tell it was sassy because of the tone of her voice. Mari blushed a deep orange. Her face and hair had a bit of an orange tint, like she'd eaten too many carrots. When she blushed, it was sunset orange. Never red, or even purple. She hoped this girl didn't notice.
Hat? Wait, didn't Marisol know that word? It meant- um, wait- it meant something that goes on your head. Correct? The soon-to-be student thought about it. She realized that the girl she was talking with probably said something about the Sorting Hat.
"Oh," she said. Not the most insightful thing to say, but she was foreign. Just off the boat, as they say, although she had come by floo. Marisol would like to be either a Gryffindor or a Slytherin. She was brave, ambitious, and somewhat foolish.

Bay wasn't taking the girl's words very well and Ben couldn't totally fault him for not enjoying being thought of as old. They both had been effected by the aging mishap of last term and apparently the elder lion wasn't as recovered from the inner turmoil as he was. Maybe it was cause he was closer to being older then Benny himself? Nevertheless, Bay moved to walk away and the girl took it badly like she had done something wrong.
"I'm...I'm not sure it was offense..."he remarked, trying to assure her it wasn't all her fault. "But its a long story...don't worry about it." Plus it was getting late as a glance at the nearest station clock revealed and they should probably be heading to the platform anyway. There was no way he was going to get stuck on the wrong side of the barrier and miss the train. And he couldn't just leave her...Angel.
"Nice to meet you," he said returning her greeting. Something they probably should have done earlier. "The name's Benjamin Atreyu, but most call me Ben." No Benny please...only Adi could get away with that nickname. As for how they got to the platform.
"Follow me," Benny instructed, taking a hold of his belongings once more and guiding them and hopefully Angel following him in amongst the people on the Platform 9 side to get in between the pillars in a more secluded area.
Angel smiled at Ben. "Nice to meet you Ben." Angel was going to think of a pet name for him because this cute guy totally deserved one better than Benny, she thought maybe cutie pie or something like that would be cool because boy was he cute. Angel had never seen a guy as cute as him ever.
Angel followed him to a brink wall and just stared at it. "Can we go through the wall together?" Angel had a funny feeling that, this guy was going to say that was how you got to the platform, it was the only place it could be because platform 9 and 10 was to either side of it. "Pretty please?" Angel hoped the dude would say yeah.

Had he mentioned the wall? Or had she figured it out in the time they had moved towards their destination? It did seem the most logical conclusion for a spot between 9 and 10 but then that was from his perspective as someone who had been there before. Or at least familiar with the oddities of the wizarding world.
"I guess so..." he said with a shrug, giving in to her request. At least she didn't seem too hesitant about it. The last thing he wanted to do was try and coax her through. The third year moved his cart into a position so they could both rush the wall with their respective carts. "Best taken as a run," Ben suggested as he prepared himself. At least for her first time. "On the count of three then."

Angel didn't really want to do this but with cutie pie next to her nothing could go wrong right, she was about to ask them when suddenly he was moving next to her and telling her that it would be best to take it at a run, she was a bit nervous about the whole thing but at least if anything went wrong cutie pie could help her up and care for her right.
"Okay then." Angel smiled as Ben did the counting and then they were running and Angel was a bit scared she was going to crash into the wall but well when nothing happened she realised that she had gone through the wall. "That was awesome." Angel smiled. "But what happens if someone accidently leans on the wall?"

Sadly, Cutty didn't seem embarrassed about being caught with his mum, which disappointed Caleb slightly but he didn't let that phase him. He grinned and nodded, shaking his head a bit for emphasis on the length he'd let it get to. "Yeah, mainly because I was lazy. So, didn't you like...go to Egypt or something?" he asked. That had been this summer, right? Caleb was terrible with details.
"Who?" Caleb asked, blinking in confusion. He literally had no idea who Cutty was talking about and had to literally go through a list of who he had sat with on the train last term. "Oh, the Ravenclaw girl? Hope? Please, she wishes," he chuckled. Wayyyy too young for him. Caleb was more focused on getting himself a badge in the future, NOT a girlfriend. Badge first - girlfriend later.

And no, he didn't feel left out. He did, however, raise his eyebrows at the two girls's interaction. Uh huh. The new girl was probably too awed by his presence to notice him. That was it.
Whatever. He was getting bored and if these two were going to have a tea party, he was going to move away. Didn't want to be put in some silly crown, thanks. His eyes scanned the area until they landed on the clock. Heh. Will you look at that?
Turning his attention back towards the two girls, he cleared his throat before saying, "It's nearly time for the train to take off and I don't know about you two but I'd rather be on that train. We should get going, yes?" He looked between the two of them and actually smiled before steering his trolley towards the direction of the wall. He was trying his hardest not to show his nervousness. Jeez, did he have to do this every year?!
Whatever. He needed to show the kids how it was done. Watch and learn and hold on to your diapers while you do so.
Closing his eyes, the boy took a deep breath and ran towards the wall......

Maddison watched Zeus intently, wondering if he shared the same sentiment as this boy. Was he pleased to meet Sir Arrogant of Bighead-land? Zeus meowed softly and the brunette wrinkled her nose. Ew, he did. "Boys."
It was good for Maddie and she smirked a little, nodding her head. She was excited for Hogwarts! Most of that excitement stemmed from the fact that none of her brothers had gone there so she wouldn't have anything to live up to or anyone referring to her as so-and-so's kid sister. She hated that so much, y'know? And now was her chance for a fresh start. The eleven year old tilted her head and eyed the boy carefully, wondering just how much of him she'd be seeing at school. "Yeah, I guess." Who knew, maybe he'd surprise her and be really good at something. Then she could use their acquaintance to her advantage.
...
And this girl. "You're orange, did you know?" It was fascinating, actually. Maddie inched closer and raised her eyebrows because she wanted to know how it was the girl managed that. Could it be taught? Hm.
Before she could ask questions, Boy wonder was speaking to them again. Tired of being ignored, she s'posed. Oh! The train. Looks like her waiting around for someone to demonstrate how to go through the wall had paid off after all.
Maddison watched him carefully, noting his expression and stance. Her eyes widened slightly as he charged towards the wall and she couldn't help but wince but there was no need. Seemed it wasn't as dangerous as it looked, getting to the other side.
"Guess I'm next." She gave the girl a shrug and then turned towards the wall, hands firmly fixed on the trolley. If she was running at the wall, the trolley was going first to take most of the impact if she didn't make it.

Another term at Hogwarts was beginning and it was time to hit the ground running...literally. Saying good bye to his parents and making sure Conrad, his cage and the rest of his belongings were secure on the trolley, Benny positioned himself at a platform alcove between 9 and 10. The hustle and bustle around him a mix of magical folk heading to the Hogwarts Express and muggles seemingly oblivious to things unnatural to them going on around them. With a deep breath and a count of three, the fifth year Gryffindor took a run straight towards the nearest stone wall.

He'd let his mom drop him off at the station and even though she was more than mildly confused about what his ticket said too, he promised her he would figure it out. Thing was that he'd asked the man at the counter and a few people around but they all squinted at him like he was mad.
He didn't even blame them.
So there he was, standing in between Platforms 9 and 10, with no Platform 9 3/4 in sight and a particularly hopeless look on his face. Could someone please explain to him what was going on? No, he was not lost, thank you for asking. He just had no idea how to get where he was supposed to go. Maybe he'd just sit here, on his very silly-looking trunk. Couldn't he have brought a suitcase?
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
"Bye, bye, bye!" Adi called to his parents and waved to them as they drove off. He was going to miss them but there were so many people he was going to see soon! Benny, AJ and Angelfish! Where you guys at?
Adi, all decked out in his Bullet for my Valentine tee shirt, hand band and black jeans, wheeled his trolley closer to the Wall. Going through this wall was SUPER fun and something he always looked forward to.
He craned his neck this way and that, looking to make sure the coast was clear. That's when he noticed a little guy with his own trolley standing there... looking confused. Looks like this was a job for Adi! Hehe.
"Hey!'' Adi greeted happily. "Need help?" It was obvious that the kid was heading to Hogwarts.

Zoe was pushing her trolley towards the wall when she spotted a young boy who looked lost. He was sitting on his trunk and didn't appear to have any other person around him. He looked about Hogwarts age... She looked around them again to make sure, perhaps he was just waiting for someone. Well, he could have been, but if he was a Muggleborn, perhaps he didn't know how to get onto the platform!
She'd come a long way since teasing James when he couldn't get onto the platform, and was quite nervous about it. But that was her second year, this was her last year!
"Do you need any help?" she asked as she approached the young boy. That was a simple question, if he was a muggle it was a simple question of if he wasn't sure which platform he needed. If he was a witch or wizard, maybe he'd figure she would know, as she had an owl sitting on her trunk. She looked up as a boy a little younger than herself, asked the same thing.

Going through the barrier BY HERSELF. Dot felt old and important, and she wished she had Dima or Kyroh or Maddie to see how impressive she was being. Or to go with her, because Dot had the irrational fear that the barrier would suddenly stop working and she'd get stuck. That had happened before, hadn't it? There was some old story about the barrier and the famous Harry Potter, right?
And if the barrier could reject someone famous, it might recognize someone as unimportant as Dot Wojack-Gusey and keep her out too.
"Herewegoherewegoherewego." Dot tried to talk herself into going. Hmm... maybe she'd just wait a minute. She wasn't in any old hurry.

"Seren, I can go the rest by myself," he said, not wanting to be minded the entire way. He was surprised though, when all she did was smile, pat his head and turn away. Somewhat stunned that he was being trusted, Thornton gathered his things and made his way to the barrier.
Where it looked like Dot was.. talking to herself. Pausing, Thornton watched for a moment to see if she'd head through. When it looked like she wouldn't, he opted to push his cart up next to hers. "Hi, Dot. Have a good summer?"

"THORNTON," Dot threw herself at her friend, catching herself at the last minute before wringing his neck off. Or before cuddling him too hard and too suddenly for the tastes of a touchy little 'Claw.
"Hi. Hi, s'alright? My summer was good enough, actually. My mum is full out hormonal and terrifying. I think I got more freckles. What do you think?" She shoved her nose up near his for a proper look. Was he taller? Was she? It was hard to say. "Did you have fun this summer?"

Thornton maybe didn't mind the hug so much, at least for the start of it. He was glad, though, when she did let go. Grinning, he laughed when she stuck her face up close. "It's possible," he nodded, squinting in faux concentration. "Did you spend time in the sun. Cause that can make you freckle."
He'd grown just ever so slightly over the summer, but not enough really to notice. "Some," he nodded. "I read quite a bit and Paige came to visit. Practiced my cello." It had been a rather low-key summer, filled mostly with Thornton trying to leave subtle indications for his parents that he should be allowed to return to Hogwarts. He thought that perhaps it was the yearbook that cemented it.
"The rest was lots of family... things."
