Seriously, she'd almost convinced herself that not thaaat much could happen and now here he was talking about how some people had actually run INTO the wall before. Really, not helping. Though, the fact that he was still standing next to her WAS oddly comforting. In a way. Not that she'd ever admit to that out loud but, at least she wasn't staring at the wall in front of her alone.
Sucking on the sweet he had given her, Olly glanced back at him again when he replied, considering him for a moment. She couldn't quite figure out why he was trying to help her but whatever. Right now she just needed someone to give her the last push to get through the wall. Not literally. "After you then." Olly said with a small smirk and a hand gesture to indicate that he should just go ahead. She wanted to see if he got through, then she would follow. Easy, yeah?
Hopefully. Oh man! Oh man oh man oh man! Alec grey-blue eyes widened at the girl's words as the uncomfortable feeling inside of him started to settle deeper. He always prided himself in being able to help and yet... frown. "Erm... sorry, Lady!" Really. "I just meant... sometimes people end up crashing because... because their trolleys have a mind of their own."
... Could he request for someone to gag his mouth shut? Could he? ... Also, he kind of needed to find out what her name was, at some point, because otherwise, the Lady nickname was going to stick. And he secretly hoped she liked the nickname because he was starting to get used to it.
Or maybe he could call her Observer. Because that's what it seemed like she was doing. Observing him. Or staring. Or just giving him a look that made him feel a little bit more uncomfortable than before. "Okay... but you will follow right afterwards, right?" Promise? Because he had no idea whether there'll be enough time for him to come back and give her a piggyback through the barrier or something.

Olly just stared at the boy for a moment, unsure whether to laugh at his consistent use of 'Lady' or to snap at him. If he hadn't just made her more worried about this running through the wall thing she would have probably done the first. Or smirk at least. She didn't do either of those things but just glanced back at the wall for a moment. "Olly. The name's Olly." In case he wanted to know. Not that he'd asked her anything. But since they were talking. And she really didn't like him referring to her as 'Lady'.
It made her feel...weird. "The trolley?!" Okay, this was getting better every second. Only not. Olly eyed her own trolley suspiciously and frowned. Ugh. Okay, there really was probably only one way to find out. And it was running through that wall. Through. Right after the boy. "Yeah, I'll be holding on to your shirt." Olly replied with a small smirk that hopefully indicated that she would definitely NOT do that. Probably.

Err. That stare. Did she realise that that look of hers had this kind of effect? Because really, if looks could kill... BLINK. But there was something good that came out of this. He finally found out what the girl's name was! "Great to meet you, Olly!" he said, smiling at her, "And I'm Alec. Alec Summers." Except... it wasn't summer anymore so no more surname jokes for another nine months. SIGH. "Yeah..." Did he need to explain himself? ... He was going to, anyways."Sometimes you could lose control of it and then it goes in another direction and... yeah. Crash!" Those words had sounded pretty okay in his head but now that they were uttered, he started feeling a little bad. She wasn't going to take this in a worse way, was she?
Holding onto his shirt was something he could understand, that smirk, however, was not. And how exactly was she going to hold onto his shirt and steer her trolley at the same time? That didn't make any sense whatsoever. "How about..." What could she do? What could he do? "How about I give you a piggyback ride right across the barrier instead?" Sounded legit, yeah?

Now it was clear on why he was stationary. Wade glanced at the direction he was squinting at. It wasn't just an ordinary wall, it was the one docked right between Platform 9 and 10. Did it hurt? He smiled softly before looking back at Donny. "Nah.. only if you want it to.." Because only saying 'no' didn't make it less scary. "It's actually fun running towards it with your eyes closed.. how does that sound?" Was he ready to make the journey? He liked his name! Donny grinned, it was a nice name. You know, once he'd gotten used to spelling it. 'Thanks!' Big hand shake. Was Donnacha really this small? 'Your name- Your name is super cool too!' He took a moment to stop admiring the big kid's Wade's tallness and examined his trolley to try and figure out what house he was in.
His cousins had told him all about the houses, but Donny wasn't too sure how it worked.
The wall seemed like any other, but Wade had... loads of experience running through said wall, so Donny nodded. Running sounded good, he could show off his skills. But not before tying his shoelaces. 'I like running!' This sounded great, actually. He grinned up at Wade before nodding again. 'I jus-' ... Loop, behind... Donnacha stuck his tongue out as he focussed on tying his laces, velcro was so much easier. Around... through the hole and voila! 'Okay. Ready.'
Finally, he was ready. He took hold of his trolley again and took two small steps back to help build up his speed. 'Blaaaast offff!!' |

| Stephanoodle || Adorable Nerd Kace was facing the wall with Belle and his mother. They both smiled at him. "You okay going into the station by yourself?" his mom asked.
Kace nodded and showed his confidence. "Yes mom i will be fine." he assured her. She can be such a worry wart sometimes. "Do you want Belle to come with you?" she asked motioning towards her.
Kace shook his head. "N'aww i will be fine. I mean she can come if she wants to see the station but i do not know if she will make it back."
Belle rolled her eyes, "Whatever i got better things to do." she smiled. Then she gave him a noogie. "See you later bro." she smiled and left to go back to the car. She was going to Wizarding University tomorrow so she had to go back and pack up. Kace mom was the last one there. "Awwww i am gonna miss my little boy!" she squeezed him. "Moommmmm!!!" he said while squirming. He smiled and hugged her back. "I will see you soon though!" he promised her. "I will always write too!"
She smiled, gave him a kiss and left to go back to Belle. Then he turned to face the wall. He loved running to it. So he was gonna do that.
On the count on three!
ONE......TWO......THREE!!!!!! Then he ran to the wall to go to the other side.

It might be her 15th birthday, but Tallulah had never been near Platform 9 3/4 before. They didn't think she'd ever have reason to. Which made her think... "Hey, mum. Can you even pass through the wall?" "Yes." "Oh." Okay. Tallulah smiled, content with that answer. (She was also a little saddened by it, though she supposed her mum would have stayed at home if she couldn't.)
The birthday girl looked back to her cousin. "Well... Ferny. You ready?"
SPOILER: I'M NOT. Fern finally had her trunk back, and Lewis the toad was alive and well. She was ready, and she returned Tallulah's grin with an extra wide one of her own, showing off the large gap between her two front teeth for all to see. Then she squealed, because she was excited, and also because that was what Tallulah was doing. Although the older girl's was rather short and pitiful. They would have to work on that. Of course you can pass through the wall!" Fern answered at the same time as her aunt, thinking her cousin was talking about people in general and not her mother specifically. But Fern had never spent much time thinking about how Aunt Nancy was different from other witches and wizards; she could ride winged horses and could sing along to all the Hexy Boyz songs (when Fern asked, "Pretty please!?"), and that was all that really mattered, wasn't it?
To her cousin's next question, she replied with gusto, "I WAS BORN READY!" "Let's go together! Ready?! the child readjusted her grip on her trunk's handle. "One!" she shifted her weight, getting ready to run. "Two!" she leaned forward. "Three!"

READY.
She grinned when her dad barked out a laugh at Fern's declaration. "Yes! Let's go together!"She'd just trust their parents to be right behind them. Her dad handed her the trunk, assuming she'd want to pull it through the wall for the first time. Her dad knew her well. Tallulah, like the good cousin she is, let Fern do the count down. That didn't stop her from wincing as they ran, though.

" Badger Boom!" Wade rushed off with him pacing himself until they were at same speed before they headed towards the wall.

She was a bit excited for her final term because she was a seventh year and they usually OWNED the school. But then she hated how they were going to have NEWTs as well. She had a bloody headache with her OWLs back in her fifth year but now, it was even harder. Nastily exhausting, as the acronym would like to describe it as. It meant more studying and required a lot more focusing on classes and textbooks. That was a bit of a challenge, because Kat had tryouts to attend this term. Dylan wasn't captain anymore, so they must have a new one. She didn't know who, but she was hoping it was a likable person. Guess all Kat needed to do was manage her time wisely and make the most out of the time allotted for them. With this new shiny badge she got days ago, it would be a challenge is she willing to take.
Eyes gazing up the clock, Kat realised she had a least five to ten minutes left before the train departed. According to her, that was still a lot of time and she usually left the platform around three minutes before eleven o'clock out of habit. It's been something she's carried since her fourth year so changing an old habit would be a bit difficult for her. She didn't have an Elise to go with, which was definitely a first. At least her bestie would be flying with the Pride of Portree players and going professional even if she was only a reserve beater. And, you know Kat was seventeen now? She got to taste the feeling of being independent. That meant she didn't have the Trace with her anymore which was exciting because she got to do everything with her wand the whole summer. Way to make her younger brother, Alexander, jealous. He still had another year until he turned seventeen so Kat was always doing his things for him. Lazy butt, Alex was. He was probably abusing Kat's "of age" abilities but she didn't mind it. At least she got more time to spend with her wand. Mum always let Kat and Alex keep their wand when they were at home because of underage reasons. But that all changed for the Slytherin. Just then, after a few thoughts to herself, Kat saw Kendall. Her K1. "Hi Kendall!" she greeted her Ravenclaw friend. She noticed the quietness from the Ravenclaw and realised that she was looking at her new badge. Oh, right. She had some explaining to do. "Surprise?" Head Girl, yo. The only concerns going through Kendall’s head at the moment involved wondering if she really was going to have to wait until everyone got on the train to finally figure out where Patrick had disappeared to and how she was going to manage to finally complete that idea she wanted to get done before she graduated. Well, and NEWTs, but those were pretty much unavoidable even if she wasn’t exactly planning on trying to get a job in anything that needed exam scores. Art was okay as far as she was concerned, and then there was the superhero stuff. Nobody worried about if a superhero had gotten spectacular exam scores. That wasn’t to say that he was going to completely skive off of studying, though. The Claw portion of her brain wouldn’t let that happen, even if she still didn’t see herself as a perfect Eagle. Flaws were okay, and she had her prefect friends to make up for those, along with any little incidents that may happen. That idea really was refusing to be abandoned, even though she had forgotten about most of the other ideas she’d gotten in her head over the past few years. At least, after last term, she wasn’t quite as interested in dementors and if they had babies.
As she’d approached Katrina, she’d glanced at the clock up on one of the pillars. Definitely time to get to the train and hope that people showed up again. For now, she could amuse herself with talking to her friend and one of said prefects that she knew. It definitely paid to know people in power, and the new shiny badge only told her that there was even more power to possibly utilize if she needed to. Aside from the freedoms she had from being of age now, little details still were important like knowing the right people who could help her accomplish things. Beezus had helped her end up where she was today with Patrick, and she figured Katrina could help her in some way or another too, other than just being another Slytherin friend. The response to her focus on the badge made another grin appear on her face, anyway. “Are you asking me or yourself?,” she asked, amused. She remembered when the blonde had questioned being named prefect after all, when she hadn’t thought it was that odd. “I’m not. Not really. It’s pretty awesome though.” Knowing the Head Girl. Even Jeremiah hadn’t been able to say he’d had either the Head Boy or Girl as a friend, so that meant she had one up on her big brother finally, when it didn’t have to do with her metamorphmagus ability. She’d accomplished something at Hogwarts he hadn’t, and she hadn’t actually had to do anything other than just be herself.

| PHILOMATH ❅ not one atom, but two ♪ ♪ made of starstuff ❅ def main(): Benzi was not brave.
He stared at the wall between the platforms. It looked... pretty solid, excluding the fact that people kept disappearing through it. What if it didn't work for him? What if they didn't let adopted kids in? Or kids who were born in Africa? Or maybe he didn't have enough magic? WHAT IF HE BARGED HIS HEAD AGAINST HE WALL AND DIED?!
As yet another group went in, the eleven year old wondering for the hundredth time how the muggles just simply did not notice the people walking into the wall. They weren't exactly being discreet about it. Some yelled, some counted down, and some just sorta kept talking about it. All the way over on platform 8, Benzi could still hear them. It made him wince.
Checking his new watch, it took him a minute to read it properly, and he realised his Mum still had some time to go before she needed to be here. She was working today, so Uncle Jake had brought him, but then HE'D had to leave so now Benzi was alone waiting for his Mummy to show up like she'd promised she would.
The eleven year old was secretly very pleased with this. He was going to HER old school. She sh- "MUMMMMYYYYYYYYYYYY!" Rachel grinned, crouching down and wrapping her arms around her son's small frame. Really though, they would have to talk about the running into her situation because it would soon start to leave bruises. Untangling herself from him, the brunette pulled the luggage trolley forward towards the gap between the walls of platforms nine and ten, then turned to Benzi. "You ready kid?" Mummy asked, an excited glint in her eye Benzi's never seen before.
It made him bave. "OKAY. LET'S DO THIS."
Grabbing a hold of the trolley, his smiled when Mummy put a hand over his own. Looking around at the muggles, Benzi realised with a pang that he wouldn't really be seeing many muggles for a while. Eh. Other than football they really weren't all that entertaining. Setting his sights on the very solid wall, he pushed the trolley forward and RAN.

Or did he? Was he radiating some sort of odour that killed little girls? Theo stayed silent for a moment, but whilst her eyes were closed, he lifted his arm and sniffed under one of his armpits. And as he had suspected, he smelled like MAN.
Theo owned smelly smells, you know, for spraying.
So THAT wasn't the problem. It was either that she was really dead, or was being a bit of a creepooooo. Theo decided on the creepo idea, and really REALLY wanted to just subtly walk away. But what if she WAS dead? He bent down, sighed heavily, and stared at her.

Kat was, apparently, really observant of her surroundings today unlike the days before now. Maybe it was because she was alone and didn't have anyone to go with past the barrier, but don't get that wrong for a scaredy cat because it is for sure that Katrina Hudson was not one at all. From the crowding people to the clock of the train station, all she did was stare from one person to the clock again and again. It was a bit weird, honestly, which is why Kat was starting to feel self-conscious about that. What would people say if the Slytherin Head Girl was standing there and looking like an idiot, staring from one object to another. It made her look like a creeper, and Kat wasn't a creeper. Or was she? She had a reason to keep staring at the clock because she forgot to bring a watch with her. Ah, well. Hogwarts had quite enough clocks for her not to forget about the time. Nothing was for sure yet, because she might just regret not bringing a watch with her in the middle of the term. She didn't want to be late in class. Not now that she had an even higher position in the student body. Okay so... she only have five minutes left. Kat hated being an early bird and being a loner inside the Prefects' Compartment, did they know that? It made her feel lonely.
Nah, the Slytherin would rather spend a little bit of time talking to Kendall while waiting for the perfect time to get in the train. " Are you waiting for anyone in particular?" Kat had to ask because she didn't want to be like a third-wheel and seem like an outcast if the person Kendall was waiting for would come and join them any minute now. Didn't she have a boyfriend? Patrick, was that? If Kat could remember correctly, that is. Most of the girls their age would gossip and talk about their boyfriends but... it didn't seem likely because Kat wasn't that type of girl. She wasn't sure if Kendall was that type of girl. Maybe she'd have to find that out because they were soon graduating and they didn't exactly know that much from each other. Kat mentally added that to her to-do list. And yes, she does keep herself organised. Speaking of boyfriends, Kat needed to find a dude somewhere. Maybe send some hugs because she missed him since he'd been in France for nearly the whoooole summer. Amused grin you got there, K1? Kat grinned in return. " Nope, it was just an expression." Well, Kat needed to try it out sometime right? The thought of doubting that she was Head Girl suddenly left Kat's head and she didn't bother bringing that back. She is Head Girl and their arguments were invalid. She had some sort of power over the students and other Prefects but Kat didn't mean to take them for granted. Even if people thought of it that way, she would never think of it. Oh, so she wasn't surprised? Too bad. The Slytherin faked a pout and then smiled again. " Thank you." Because Kendall had said that it was awesome, right? Chyeaaah, of course it was awesome. Whatever the Ravenclaw meant, it was still awesome. Apparently. What did she mean by awesome, anyway?

SHE WAS BREATHING. "What the heck are you doing?" Kinda didn't have time for this. Kinda had a train to catch. Kinda had a prefect compartment to waltz into. It was actually a pretty good question. The answer was pretty good, too. Playing dead. Zahra just couldn't... say...that... at the moment. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she was kind of upset that she was laying on the dirty floor of the train station. Normally she didn't care about these things, but today she HAD put on a pretty dress for the train. But MOSTLY her brain was filled with O_________________O Theo.
That was the biggest thing.
Uhm.
She opened one eye enough to look at him.
... "I can't tell you." Basically. |

| He's just observing at the moment lol Melly Bean | aussiegirl | a Supernatural freak It hadn't been easy but Michael had managed to get away from his mother. Okay he didn't really think he had gotten away from her, she would be around somewhere, watching his every move.
He was halfway to the wall when he spotted his BFF and that Slytherin kid, he'd seen around the school and in classes.
Why was she with him?
Michael let out a little huff that she had not waited for him. The irritation didn't last long however when he saw her suddenly on the ground.
Did that boy just do that to her? His eyes narrowed and he wwaited to see what would happen next.

| Anyone want to play with us? =) Fortress of Brilliance ღ Mommy Quad Even though it was silly, Callidora almost hoped her sister and her sister's boyfriend would appear just to escort her to the train and share their goodbyes, despite the fact her aunt had atleast dropped her off. But that's all Aunt Calliope had done.
Pushing her trolley with her trunk in front of her, the half-Greek girl paused near the barrier she knew was Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, and glanced around. Was she really suppose to run at it? And expect not to get smashed in the process? What if she did it wrong?
Maybe.. she would wait for another student to come by and go through, watch how they did it. Yeah, that's what she'd do. Clearing her throat, Callidora busied herself with flipping her hair over her shoulders and adjusting her trunk, making sure it was secure and locked.

Just as he prepared to walk through again, he groaned in frustration. He had forgotten something else. How could he be so foolish? Turning to Pen, he sighed kind of dramatically, "I forgot something else." Bad, Stark. Huh? Hadn't he grabbed Spot? The place on her shoulder felt lighter... She glanced over and blinked in surprise when she saw no cat there on her shoulder. Where'd she...?
A meow from below grabbed her attention and there was Spot, sitting at Ascanius' feet and looking up at him with bright eyes, tail twitching. Huh. Penelope would've wondered how she got down without her noticing, but Spot did have a tendency to do that when she wanted...plus the fifteen-year-old had been a bit distracted with her boyfriend. He was really distracting, y'know? "There you go, take the cat then," she said with a grin. And now that that was settled...
Wait, he forgot something else? "What'd you forget?" She made a dramatic sort of face to go along with his dramatic sigh. Because dramatics were fun.

But only to Spot because he was her favourite feline and such..nice cat. So they could go through now.
EXCEPT, he forgot that he DID miss something. Very important. His face was super dramatic at the moment to translate just how serious the thing he had forgotten was...because it WAS important.
Nodding, super serious like, he leaned over and kissed her soundly. Yeah, see THAT was what he had forgotten. And it had been super serious. Smirk.

Because Kendall had said that it was awesome, right? Chyeaaah, of course it was awesome. Whatever the Ravenclaw meant, it was still awesome. Apparently. What did she mean by awesome, anyway? It had gotten to the point that Kendall was wondering if waiting until the last minute to pass through the wall and get to the train would actually make exams and everything hold off longer. It was a crazy thought, but at least she wasn’t thinking about dementors again, and her hope that they were long gone from Hogwarts. She had a lot of chocolate, but that didn’t mean she wanted to have to eat it just to keep from being totally depressed by stupid dementors attacking around every corner. She wanted to eat it because she wanted to, not because she had to, and for that matter, she was still hoping that the house elves were back too. Surviving on chocolate last term was good, but she didn’t want to ever get tired of it. Plus, she really preferred not having to do all her own cleaning. Help was good too, definitely welcome. Either way, upon another glance at the clock, she still had a few more minutes before she’d have to go through the barrier. More time to spend with everyone else who was stalling heading through to the Express and the ride to Hogwarts, although most of them were having their own conversations and not paying attention to her. She was fine with that anyway. She’d get attention eventually, if certain plans actually got accomplished, even if she wasn’t intending on anyone actually knowing it was her who did it. She had her ways. Her ninja ways. It would be memorable, no matter what. People would remember the little ninja butterfly after she left Hogwarts, even if she wouldn’t be listed on anything in the trophy room.
There was Katrina to occupy her for now, anyway, and the new Head Girl looked about as willing to head for the train as she was, even if the curiosity as to where Patrick had disappeared to was still floating around. Everyone was headed for the same place, so she’d find him son enough. “Like who?,” she asked, curious as to where the Slytherin had gotten the idea. She’d been looking around less than the blonde had been, so maybe the question should have been reversed. She’d see Beezus at the feast, and even if she didn’t see her there, she’d see her up in the tower. She’d already known that she’d find Patrick on the train, and obviously Katrina was right there. Maybe there was someone else she’d been supposed to be looking for, but she didn’t know why the Slytherin would know that when she didn’t. At least the grin had apparently been understood, and returned. It would have been hard to explain why she’d been amused at the badge thing, anyhow. “Good. ‘Cause there isn’t any reason why we should be surprised by anything, anyway. Not when Hogwarts is concerned,” she replied. They’d had a lot of random weird events happen over the past terms, so it was hard to surprise her anymore. She didn’t see any reason why that should be different for Katrina, either. She should just accept that she’d been named Head Girl, and take advantage of that. She would have if it had been her, but then, nobody in their right mind would give her a badge. Being a superhero was enough for her. “You’re welcome.” She didn’t say something was awesome if it wasn’t, so the gratitude was valid. Awesomeness should always be appreciated.

TRAIN DAY. CHUU CHUUU CHUUU.
In her brand new, especially bought for today, dress Abigail Campbell made her way through the muggles among the Kings Cross station.
England was still very new to her and maybe going to an American school closer to home would have been better. Mommy and Daddy even preferred her closer, yet Abbi protested and it was all because of Donny. She wanted to be where he was. She'd be safe. Yes. Yes. And if mommy and daddy needed to know something Donny could always owl his grandma that lived nextdoor. She was a witch too. Witches. Abbi would have to get used to them. Them monster thingies.
Now where was she to go?
The little auburn haired girl followed her parents whom themselves looked very confused. "Mommy look!" Abbi pointed to the wall where people who looked very witchsy were running through. "Magic." BIG BEAM. Donny had told her about this wall. Mhhm.

She was nearly Of Age and was certain could get on the train herself after being dropped off. So, after her mother expressed the need to hurry back to work, the French girl gave her a hug and said her goodbyes before heading in to board the train.
Pulling her wheeled trunk behind her with one hand and carrying her owl's cage in the other, Claudette tried to appear confident as she walked through the station. She knew nearly no one and casually tossed her blonde hair over her shoulder as she furtively looked around, hoping to catch a glimpse of Ethan or Minerva.. or even one of the people she briefly met on her short excursion to Diagon Alley. Because even if she appeared to be confident, she was rather unsure of what to do next as she came up to the sign marked Platform 9 3/4. Stopping in front of the brick wall, her green eyes peered at it uncertainly. Her mother mentioned something about walking through the wall.. is this what she meant?
Biting her lip, she glanced around, seeing a girl about her age in the immediate vicinity adjusting her trunk. Perhaps she would know. Taking a few steps in her direction, Claudette put on a friendly smile and said in a moderate French accent, "Pardon.. is this the way to the platform?" She jutted her thumb in the direction of the barrier. "Do we just walk through there?"

Callidora was nearly satisfied that even when she would slam into the wall - because she was entirely doubtful it was just as easy as walking right on through, - her belongings wouldn't scatter, when a voice spoke near her.
The seventeen-year-old looked up, only to realized the voice was addressing her. "Oh, um.. yes," Callidora stole a glance at the barrier, before looking back at the other girl with a polite smile. "That's the theory. My aunt said to run, but walking sounds more safe." To be honest. Either way, it was the same idea. "I was going to wait and see someone else go at it first, but I think time is running out." The raven-haired girl admitted, a bit sheepishly.
The train would be leaving soon, surely.
