The Three Broomsticks http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...0Thingy/3b.png Centered among the shops of Hogsmeade is a well enough known pub in the small village, called The Three Broomsticks. Not unlike the Hog's Head down the street in the strictest idea of pubs, drinks and the like, however it is the atmosphere that helps make the latter choice the one hailed by the mass majority. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring, you guessed it, the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a lantern to light the patrons' way. |
sarahlooloolookins Neat. Hogsmeade was open at last as Justin cheerfully walked along through to one of his favourite areas to wait on his favourite someone. Yep, The Three Broomsticks. One of the best areas to hang around during the winter season. That's why it was always packed when he chose to stop by. Once inside Justin removed his shades and lowered the hoodie. He was actually early seeing not too many around. But there was no need to slack here. It was going to be packed sooner or later so he purchased two Butterbeers from the counter before finding a seat. He had someone to wait on after all. After setting the beverages down, Justin removed his heavy jacket to hang over the other empty seat before settling himself in. Now he could get nice and comfy revelling in the warmth. |

It was finally Hogsmeade weekend, something he'd been waiting for for a while. He hadn't been to the old village in ages, but it looked just as he remembered it. Old and snowy. Stomping the snow off his boots, Zach opened the door to the little old restaurant and took off his coat as he looked inside for his significant other. A grin spread on his face as soon as he saw him and he quickly made his way over to the bench where Justin was sitting. There were probably students lurking, but he expected a warm greeting. |

Needing his hands to be doing something, he took the menu to flip through. Oh a nice cheese sandwich. Hm. Delicious. That would go great with the Fish and Chips. Yep. Done with that as he placed it down before moving to kick his feet back. Just in time to see "Zach!" waving him over before standing up. As for someone watching, please, this was Justin. He had nothing to hide as he pulled Zach into a nice tight snake-like hug before a planting one on his cheek. "Good to see you, mate. It's been way too long." Which was an understatement. He then gestured towards the seat he so graciously saved. "Got your drink right here." Sliding one of the butterbeers over, it was a rare thing along with his patience. "Sooooo what's Zacharoni been up to lately?" Taking a sip of his drink. |
Quote:
"Thanks," he said as he plopped down into his seat. He took his butterbeer and took a nice, long sip, enjoying the warmth from it. It was TOO cold outside. Zach placed a hand on Justin's knee, partially just to be close and partially to keep his hand warm. What had he been up to? "Not a whole lot, to be honest. Been spending time with the family. Went out with Geff a few times for some drinks." Zach flipped open the menu and scanned through the items, trying to decide what he was hungry for. "Took up knitting..." Which was a lie. That was at the bottom of his boredom list. |
Quote:
Justin grinned across, he was enjoying this warm feeling not only from his drink as he sipped his butterbeer some more. He couldn't help the brow raise at him and Geff, "Yeah? You two are behaving well, at last?" From what he last heard, this was some development between the two. "How's your folks doing?" He didn't get to hear as much of Zach's family as he did with Justin's. Knitting.. Justin's lips tightened as if trying to hold back laughter. Well, that was one thing he had to hold back. Poor bloke was bored out of his mind, "No fear mate, today's your lucky day." It always was with whoever spent time with Justin. Boredom was not allowed. He would have to make the most of the weekend as his fingers walked across, over the menu to point out a random choice. "Why not that one?" Whatever it was. He couldn't say no to him, riiiiight? |
For Samiaaaa and Noel <3 When you were dating someone, did every outing count as a date and if so, was this a date and was Noel obligated to pay for her? Maddie didn't have any qualms about this, of course. Still, she found the whole boys paying for dates thing to be, well, archaic. She was just as capable at shelling out a few galleons for a meal, okay? Successful part-time human clothes hanger over here. So you know what? This was a date and Maddie was paying. Boom. Take that, social norms. ...Maybe she had had some qualms, after all. After slipping her coat off and hanging it on the hook by the door, the brunette turned to the blonde by her side and said seriously, "This is a date, okay? Act accordingly." |
Laila! Just another cold winter day for Dante. Though it was slightly better now that he was actually in the Three Broomsticks because it was at least nice and warm in here. Dante did not mind the cold as long as he was not standing still and waiting. Plus he actually liked wearing clothes until some people. He did not care but still. He walked over and ordered himself a butterbeer and thought for a second and order another. Thinking she would probably want one also. Since he was such a nice guy and all. So now all there was left to do was find a seat and wait. |

But when the brunette turned to declare it was a date, Noel nodded like a good boyfriend - "Yes, ma'am" What ELSE was he supposed to do? And then he looked down at himself - nope, he wasn't dressed for a date at all. Maybe a hey-you-wanna-grab-butterbeer hang but no, not a date. On the other hand, she looked really good. Spotting that their usual corner table was empty, Noel moved toward it. Pulling her chair out for her, Noel grinned playfully: "You look lovely this afternoon, by the way" Compliments were a date thing too. |
Quote:
"Sit, Wallace." Her turn to grin. Once he had, the brunette took the seat opposite him and set her bag on the table. "Food and drinks, yeah? What're you in the mood for?" She wanted something warm, she'd decided. |
Quote:
Oh. A Maddie date. Now this was going to be interesting. "Well, well, well ...I wasn't expecting this at all" He admitted, taking the seat he had originally pulled out for her - grin a little more wider now. He shook his head, "Oh no, first and foremost, where are my flowers?" he asked, in a playful tone. "I mean you can't woo your date with just food and drinks, Cooper" He was really trying to refrain from grinning like an idiot but it wasn't working, nope. |

"So thoughts on the menu? It's my treat." |
Whit. It was nice to be out of work early but she still had some other things to do. Today was a busy day. She had dropped off Harrison at her mother-in-laws house nearly an hour ago. She still had to stop by a few shops here and then head over to some shops in Diagon Alley and then she had to stop back at work and grab some paperwork and give her boss some sketches. |

Speaking of food, he really was hungry so he picked up the menu, and chuckled at the hand holding comment, "I wouldn't want to miss that for the world" he added, sincerely. Because it was a big deal. Oh his icky-gooey-puff heart. Eyes trained on the menu, Noel thought about it for a moment or two before saying: "I think I'll take a turkey sandwich and - " Hmm " a butterbeer, yeah" And he closed the menu and loooked over at the girlfriend again. He really enjoyed looking at her, did she know? "Oh, and dessert's on me" |

Lux could smell yummy food, and that was good because she was HUNGRY. Maybe she would have a nice bowl of mac and cheese with a turkey sandwich on the side because they didn't have cucumber sandwiches on the menu. Despite that oversight, she always enjoyed eating here. She also enjoyed seeing her sister! "WILLA!" Squealing, the redhead rushed over to her big sister and gave her a BIG HUG. "I'm so happy to see you!" She loved her sister even if she could drive her nuts sometimes. They had been through so much together over the years. |
What a great day! Cassie was feeling a bit more relaxed, her grandmother was doing a bit better and her parents were sure she'd back to the shop in no time. This was good, this meant that Cassie could get more rest. She had been so exhausted lately and feeling a bit under the weather, but she knew it was most likely all the stress of teaching and working at her grandmother's shop whenever possible. Today though she was happy, things were looking up and she was about to have lunch with her bestie. That excited Cassie very much. She hated not seeing Nessa everyday, but their lunch dates were very exciting to look forwards to. Opening the door and going into the broomsticks she looked around. Not seeing Nessa yet she moved to an empty table and sat down. There were plenty of children already there and she was happy to see them all excited to have a break from school. Now what was she going to have. |

As soon as she stepped into the broomsticks, she started looking for her friend Dante |
Quote:
"Folks are doing good," he said with a sigh as he settled more into his seat, comfortably leaning against Justin a bit. "They just got back from Prague last week. They spent the holiday there and wasted more of my inheritance on tourist activities and five-star hotels." Oh, to be retired and rich. Zach would have liked to go to Prague too, but off-season meant small paychecks. Today was a lucky day, wasn't it? He got to see his favorite person. Zach grinned in response and then followed his fingers on the menu as he pointed a lunch choice out. Steak and kidney pie... Hm. "Interestingly enough, I'm not a big fan of eating kidneys." Zach shut the menu. "I think I'll go with a pot pie." |
Quote:
"It's a nice place to go when you are sick of the sweets shop and the joke shop and yep, one butterbeer. It's yours, if you want it" Dante also took out a new picture of his brother that is post his haircut that he recently got for who know the reason. Never try to understand that idiot's mind. It will only confuse you . And on the back were a couple of secrets about him that Dante has written down and slid the picture over to her. "I thought you would appreciate this" Dante said smiling. |
Quote:
Heading into the Three Broomsticks, Nessa looked around for Cassie and noticed quite a few students already there. Aww, she missed them too and would have to say hello to some of them before she left. But she soon spotted Cassie at a nearby table and her smile grew as she gave her a cheerful wave. "Hello! How are you?" She reached to give her a hug before sitting down in the seat across from her. Hopefully her grandmother was doing better and all things were well. |
Quote:
"I have to okay that dessert is on you but since you seem so set on it, I guess I'll allow it." Because dessert. Did they have anything chocolate here? Cake, perhaps? Hm. Setting her menu down, the brunette got up and smoothed her skirt. After grabbing her wallet from her purse, she dropped a kiss on Noel's head and smiled. "I'll be right back." So he really shouldn't go anywhere. |
Raven/Ava Zhenya had something special in her bag. Something special for her sister, who she missed terribly. She missed Teddy, too, but sometimes she just wanted a little girl time with Ava. Plus she had seen Dima plenty of times, and lived with Sophia, so the twins were really the only ones she needed to really make time for. It was difficult seeing them whilst they were at Hogwarts, of course, but today had been marked in her calender ever since the twins had written and told her when the Hogsmeade village would be open for them to visit. And today, it was. Zhenya headed to the Three Broomsticks where they had agreed to meet, and made her way to a table where she removed the small gift; a book of pranks for her sister. Surely she was down with ALL of the pranks, both new and old, but when she had seen it randomly walking down Diagon Alley, she just HAD to buy it for Ava. She placed the wrapped gift onto the table, perhaps in front of the space where Ava would sit. |

Willa looked around and tapped her nails on the table. Where was her sister? She didn't have all day. The blonde looked over near the door, there she was. Finally. "It's about time that you showed up." She smiled at her and hugged her back. "Listen, I can't stay too long, I have some errands to run and I have to pick Harrison up at my mother-in-law's house." She just wanted to be quick to the point. "How have you been?" She asked. |
Quote:
Grinning, "Sounds like him alright." Justin was glad to hear they were fine with each other nevertheless. Still, it reminded him on another issue. "You know.. there's also Jerrie if you're looking for extra company. He's been cooped up alone in my Hut for too long." Given the season and proximity of the forest. Maybe Zach and him could occupy each other while Justin was busy. "I promise he won't scratch up your furniture again." Shifty wide grin. He knew better now. Justin had to laugh at his sense of humour. "Sounds like they had a good time." He hadn't been to Prague himself, but knew of the fascinating sights there. "Maybe you'll get to go next time." Whether it's his parents treat or.. someone else's. No kidneys for him, "Suit yourself." Justin was treating regardless of what he ate as he waited on their food to arrive. "I believe this is for you, mate. A Happy Belated Birthday gift." Sliding across a little parcel for him. |
Quote:
What? She was leaving soon? That was a little disappointing, she wasn't going to lie... Lux was just going to have to make the best of things while she could. She ignored Willa's tone because she knew that her sister wasn't trying to be rude, she just wanted to cut to the chase. "I've been pretty good. I'm studying hard and I get to see Bay more which makes me really happy. What about you?" She knew Willa was on cloud nine with her husband and baby and she was so happy for her. |
