Javy knocked, just to make his arrival known, before entering in.. and smiling at the familiar face, "Good day.. Headmistress." Carefully drawing out the new title. Then he extended a hand to grasp the once Professor to him into a nice shake, whilst Lala curiously gazed at the new lady. "It is good to see you again." Still stylish as ever, he noted.

Ta ta, Coss.... and on to her next appointment. He appeared to be right on time, wonderful! Anastasia moved around from behind her desk to greet the new arrival, her hand already out for a shake, when she noticed the.......... fowl. Duck. Goose. Bird. Creature. IN her office.

"....."

It was wearing a diaper. And... Merlin, were those little booties on its webbed feet? What did she even have to say to that? The redhead could only blink at the goose with her lips still slightly parted in greeting. After a longggggg moment of staring, she shook her head and just decided to pretend it wasn't there. It had a diaper on, she supposed, so surely that meant it wouldn't be soiling her brand-new carpet?

She instead forced herself to re-focus on the handsomely dressed man before her. "Mr. Thompson." Why was that name so familiar? Her hand remained out for him to shake. "It is very good to see you as well..." Again though? "Did you go to Hogwarts by any chance?"

Annie was getting too old for this job if her former students could now be her co-workers. What was this world coming to?!

I'm never letting the pushy salesperson suggest an outfit for me again then. But it hit him, as Javy carefully followed the direction her gaze was at. "My apologies, my sitter had canceled on the last moment." In case, she had questions on her prescence. "This is Lala, my goose." Who had risen her head slightly in pride. "She is well-mannered and trained to be seen yet unheard at times, so you'll have nothing to worry about."

It seemed to have set in for her to his relief and she shook her head and returned her attention to him. The corners of his lips curved upward into a smile for her as he shook her hand, very heartily with no aggression. "I have, yes." Did she.. recognize him? "Was part of the graduating class of 2069, in fact." Then again, since Hogwarts his smaller frame has grown considerably and his face wasn't absent of hair anymore. "Time has been well to you.. How long have you been the Headmistress here?" He was curious, after all.

But back to him. "Lala." She paused and gave the bird another glance. "Okay... I'm just... a little cautious, you must understand. I once had cattle released into my office as part of a very UN-funny prank. They were the reason I had to remodel." She gestured toward the carpet and left it at that, then moved behind her desk to sit. He could sit too, and his... goose, she supposed.

"You were one of my first students, then," the Headmistress shook her head but with a smile. "Thank you. Time has treated you well, too. I've been Headmistress since 2078." So about four years now. WOW. Only four years?! "Tell me, Mr. Thompson... what have you been up to since graduation?"

"Mm, how unfortunate." Javy remarked. He couldn't really imagine the thought of a stampede of cattle being able to fit all comfortable in the office. Impressive.. yet disturbing. There were certain animals that could not stay indoors. Since she seemed alright with Lala now, he could now take a seat facing the Headmistress' desk. Mm, comfy. Javy could definitely get use to this. As Lala then decided to lay her head over his leg to get some gentle pets from him.

Javy grinned back at his former Professor. Overall, it was certainly true with more good overtaking any bad that had happened in his more recent life. So she had been the head of the school for four years, "A promotion well-deserved then." No, he wasn't brown-nosing. Given the constant 'natural' dangers against the school, it's just about an impressive feat to still keep it going. Especially from not-so-long ago dementor attacks and financial issues. He liked to keep up-to-date on things.

Stroking Lala's head and neck, as he heard her interest in his time after Hogwarts. Certainly, Javy could recall the last fourteen years. "Well.. after Hogwarts I had moved back home in Madrid to pursue higher education at the Wizarding University for Magizoology, and minored in Potions." It was a start, "I always had an interest in bird-like creatures, so I first earned my certifications to handle and own them before graduating in 2073." His thirst for knowledge had clearly never stopped, "I tutored in the department and earned my experience handling creatures at the nearby animal shelter, before working at a potioneering and harvesting company, where I brewed potions and harvested samples from live animals such as feathers from jobberknolls, hippogriffs, and dung from mooncalfs to perfect the potions." He could get even more detailed, if she wished. Javy had no problems with that.

Indeed, indeed it HAD been unfortunate. Bunz nodded slowly and turned in her chair to tap her teakettle. "Tea?"

She smiled more warmly at him when he said her promotion was well-deserved. "I'd say so, but then that would be bragging, wouldn't it?" The redhead let out a small, tinkly laugh. Look at that. BOTH of her interviewees today had made her laugh. Hmm. Let's see if this one would get himself hired too...

Her quill was poised to write down most or all of what Javier said... and write away, it did. Magizoology... potions... birds.... A small frown might have clouded Anastasia's expression upon hearing that, but she quickly hid it as he continued talking and the quill continued writing...... harvesting potions ingredients....jobberknolls, hippogriffs, and mooncalfs...

She nodded again. "Well, how do you think your education and prior jobs have prepared you for the position of Magical Creatures professor?" Though he seemed he could also take over for Cosgrach... not that Annie would want that to ever happen...

"Certainly, thank you." Javy's mouths curved at the thought of a nice drink. He also hadn't expected to make her laugh, which thanks to laughter being contagious, got him to let out a few chuckles. "Nothing wrong with being proud of your own accomplishments." Besides, she was the head, they were allowed to be vocal on such things in his opinion.

He didn't pay any attention to the quill, for he could only guess on what all was being written. It would've distracted his comfort and that's the last thing he needed to be disturbed at this moment. Once the next question came, "As you already know, Magizoology covers the vast amount of creatures, both muggle and witch and wizard-known within the four year study with Cryptozoology going more in theory on unsighted-creatured. My experience with tutoring following that has helped me recognize the difficulties other students go through in their work and exploring ways to help them achieve success. Involving much more than just merely telling them their answer is right or wrong." That at least covered the teaching part, hopefully. "I believe my collected experience while working has supported my feeling on all creatures deserving respect. Not only for their supposed actions, but with how useful they have become. It's important for everyone to be aware of that with the proper guidelines, there's less to fear with any misunderstood creature.. There wouldn't be as much Hippogriffs for example if there wasn't a set teaching on how to approach them." Assuming that was enough to share, Javy continued stroking Lala's neck as she was getting extra cosy.

The term was over, everyone was Healed, and Anastasia was cleaning out her office with a sigh of relief. She was SO glad she didn't have to use a cane to hobble around anymore. No, she wasn't going anywhere in particular right now, but yes, she was cleaning up for the next year.

The redhead stood up from her desk and moved swiftly to the fireplace to toss in some old letters. Ah, didn't it feel good to be able to move around and straighten up and not get stuck anywhere? It felt GREAT.

Walking around the Castle without the creaking and cracking of her joints and bones was a pleasant change after what had felt like the majority of the term for Callie. She wasn't going to miss it that was for sure but as she made her way to the Headmistress's office she got a lump in her throat when passing the now familiar portraits and walls. She'd lived here for the past six years and it really was the closest thing to a permanent home she'd had in more than a while.

She had reached the gargoyles and said the password which led to her riding the rotating staircase. Once she was up there she sighed and knocked on the door.

Hmm, there was someone at the door. The redhead had thought most people had already left for the summer. Nonetheless, she called out, "Come in," and returned to her desk.

She needed to water those plants and have the house elves clean up Gingersnapple's area before she left mhmm.

Elwood thought she had heard the voice of Anastasia on the other side say she could come in so she opened the door and took a tentative peek around the wooden frame. Oh, she was in there. Good.

"Good afternoon Annie. I was hoping to catch you before you left the Castle." Callie was still here considering how hard it was to pack everything you owned up (not to mention how generally disorganized she had become with so much room to spread things out). The woman was cleaning up as well, she too was bad to her top health. The potion seemed to have done it's job well.

Ah, it was Calista. "Come in, come in," she beckoned the woman, settling herself behind her desk and tapping her teapot with her wand to get it going. "No rush." She was eager to see her family now that she didn't look like a prune, but she did still have a lot to wrap up here.

Annie folded her hands once she was ready and waited for Calista to take a seat. Presumably, the blonde had a reason for appearing here....?

Almost bouncing she walked into the castle Cassie's green eyes were darting everywhere. It had been years since she had been in this castle and it felt amazing to be back. She would have never thought in a million years that the signs would bring her back to school. Back to this school, but they did and she couldn't help but be nervous. What if she got lost just going to find the headmistress? She had never been to that office while she attended school, never in trouble really .

Turning towards the Headmistress office she pushed back some of her blonde curls and smoothed out her dress. The five foot former puff took a deep breath and knocked a bit quietly. She let her mind think about the position. Divination it was just so exciting really and perfect, really perfect. Thankful that her brother had told her about seeing it she had waited for a sign and it hit her one morning over her morning tea. As she thought about that morning she couldn't help but play with her necklace nervously waiting.

New term, new professors... and another new 'seer' in the divination role? Hmmph. Not that Annie had anything against divination, of course not noooooooo buuuuuuuut........................

Callie had been something else. Just as she was starting to grow on Anastasia like a cytospora canker, she had to UP and MOVE to Africa to go 'study herself.' Or whatever the reason had been. It wasn't very considerate of her and now Annie had to hire SOMEONE NEW for the job.

So, time to see if this new woman would be the right one. The stone gargoyles had let her in and now there was that knock on her door. Annie cleared her throat and squared up the parchment on her desk. "Come in," she called out clearly, tapping her trusty teapot with her wand as she did. The service would be ready just on time!

Cassie heard the cue to enter and gently opened the door. Her green eyes scanned the office as she walked fully into the room. “Hello Headmistress, I’m Cassiopeia Morgan here about the Divination position.” Though the woman would already know that now wouldn’t she. As she made her way towards the desk of her former professor Cassie couldn’t help the grin that formed, “Can I just say how adorbs this office is.” Eeep! She did a mini flail in her head about all the pink.

Turning her eyes to focus back on the redhead she gestured to one of the seats. “May I?” She would be allowed to sit now wouldn’t she, it was an interview. So the thirty two year old waited a moment before making herself comfy in the first chair near her. “I was very excited to receive your owl about the position. Thank you for offering me this opportunity to meet with you.” She was beyond excited about it and tried to contain it. Her happy snaps might not be the best thing to do in the middle of an interview, at least not right at the beginning.

Ahhhhha yes. She was who Annie thought she was: yet ANOTHER former student. The redhead rose from her chair when Ms. Morgan walked in and graciously extended her hand for a shake. "Of course, please have a...." she started to say, only to notice that the blonde was already sitting.

Hmm.

She WAS good at telling the future, this one. Maybe. Time would tell... or WOULD THE TEA LEAVES BE THE ONES TELLING NOW?

Heh heh heh. Annie kept her smirk to herself. "Glad you like the office," she inserted before the chatterbox went on. Well well. Bit different from Callie. "You're welcome. Thank YOU for your interest in teaching at Hogwarts DESPITE all the weird things that happen here." She laughed perhaps more loudly than was necessary.

"Tea, Ms. Morgan?" Anastasia went ahead and poured her a cup away, because... well why not. She held out the pink cup and saucer toward the woman with a bright gleam in her blue eyes. "Tell me what you've been up to since your Hogwarts days."

Having her legs crossed Cassie bounced her foot up and down as she listened to what the headmistress was saying. Sharing IN with the laughter a little, “Oh I’ve heard about some things that have went on here.” stifling a giggle she had read things and heard things, but it just made it so much more interesting to become part of it.

Her eyes lit up seeing the pink cup, “Oh lovely, yes, thank you and please call me Cassie.” Ms. Morgan was so weird sounding. Her grin never leaving as she picked up the tea cup and saucer. She loved tea so this was just fantastic. Blowing on it a bit before taking a sip her eyes looked back to her hopefully future boss.

“Oh” it was talking time and she loved to talk. Setting her saucer and cup back on the desk as to give her hands movement. She knew once she got excited she was a hand talker there was no stopping it. “Well right after graduation I went to Uni to further my education in Divination. My focus was Astrology though I studied all forms of course. Once I was done there I traveled a bit to explore my studies and learn more about other seers.” Picking up her tea cup and taking a quick sip before setting it down to continue. “Once I was finished doing that I moved back to Tinworth and since then I’ve been a private tutor for children, plus I have helped my grandmother with her muggle psychic business.” she smiled happily picking up her cup again sipping the wonderful tea as she waited to see what else the headmistress would like to know.

Heard about some things... from whom? Annie wanted to ask, but didn't, because manners. She just settled for narrowing her eyes over the brim of her own very pink teacup.

"Cassie it is then," she remarked lightly instead. "We have a Cassiopeia here at Hogwarts, did you know?" Annie was thinking of offering the Head Girl position to her. Well of course THIS Cassie wouldn't know that, unless she was a leglimens in addition to being an astrologer and whatnot...

The Headmistress' blue eyes casually drifted over toward the parchment her quill was scribbling away upon. "Private tutor, psychic business..." She nodded slowly. "So you like to stay busy, then? How IS your grandmother's psychic business going? What do you see in the future for it? Tell me about your most successful classroom management strategies."

That's right, firing off the questions one after another. She had been criticized for hiring the "WRONG" people before, so now she was going to see if a more rigorous interview process would counter that.

Cassie picked up her tea cup and took another sip. She felt her hands shake a bit from her excitement nerves. Nodding as the headmistress agreed to Cassie and deciding it was good she wanted to call her this name and not stick to the more formal. Yes it was a great sign and Cassie loved signs. Her excitement taking over at a student having her name she happy snapped with her empty hand, “Eeeep! You do? Oh wow that is soooooo A-mazing. I didn’t think anyone else had this name.” She would have to meet this young lady for sure. Maybe she was a seer as well. Hmm the possibilities that ran through her mind.

Green eyes glancing as the Headmistress’ eyes moved she noticed the quill and felt the nerves again. She wanted to know what it was writing, but her focus zoomed back to the questions being asked and she sat her tea cup down again clapping her hands together. “Oooh it’s going wonderfully. She loves doing it and has done it for years. The muggles are sooo cute wanting their love lives seen and future enlightened. I typically specialize in their animals.” She giggled a bit, “Some of nicknamed me the cat whisper. I am very in tune with them.” Some Seers had the gift of prophecies she had the gift to tell when the dog was going to poop in their shoes, but it didn’t matter it was just one of her perks and she enjoyed it.

Oh but wait there was another question she had asked about staying busy, “I love being busy it’s fun to have things to do. If I’m not doing them I’m usually shopping or finding something enjoyable to do.” Life was about fun now wasn’t it? Plus with all the exciting things to see she was never bored. Her eyes focused a minute at the words classroom management and she had to think really hard. Had she really even thought about it? Class room décor, office décor, comfy fluffy chairs, cute little kitty chairs, oh yes classroom management. “Well in the Divination students need to be relaxed and open minded, so I would have quiet relaxation music going as well as two seats to each table so not to have too many together for chatting. I would like my class to be very discussion and activity based so we would all talk and learn together.” In her head it was all a happy and easy process. Of course all the kids were going to love Divinations, how couldn’t you love such an amazing thing.

"Maybe you'll get to meet her," Annie smiled firmly, obviously leaving the implied IF you get hired part off. Even if she had said it, the redhead had a feeling that this blonde would chit-chat and smile her way around it.

Had she EVER met someone so cheerful? Really? Ever?

"So do you lie to them?" She tilted her head and leaned back in her chair ever so slightly. "How do you predict things for Muggles? Forgive my curiosity... I just wondered if you used Wizard methods somehow. Our last divination professor also did sort of... traveling psychic things...." She waved an airy hand.

Oh SHOPPING? Cassie enjoyed shopping? That was a good word to drop in this ginger's mind. "Where do you shop?" Anastasia continued the follow-up questions. As for the classroom management... well that hadn't been the exact answer she had been looking for, but it was along the right track. "What about dealing with unruly students? How do you deal with that? Have you ever had to deal with a unsatisfied customer before at your mother's business?"

Cassie was just super excited about all of this. The possibilities were endless and the maybe going right over her head she just smiled widely. “That would be just so fabtastic.” She couldn’t wait to meet all the students, but someone with her name was even more amazing.
Her mind was whirling with all the excitement. This was just so fun and interesting. Teaching at her old school was just blowing her mind. It was going to be wonderful.

The blonde’s huge smile falter just a little as she heard the word lie and saw the wavy hand. “Headmistress are you saying that I’m a fake?” cue the super gasp and the hand to her chest at these words. “We do not lie at all. We use our talents to help these muggles. My grandmother is a great seer and a Divination expert. Muggle readings are very closely related to the fine wizarding art. You do not need use a wand for these things.” Had she never seen a muggle with tarot cards, tea leaves, and palm readings? “As for my talents, as much as I wish they were as strong as my grandmother for people they are not. My talents are much different. I have become very in tune with animals. I can sense and see things with them.” An awful curse at times since she quickly went to being a vegetarian because of it. “but I am very good at my Divination skills. I have been using all forms since I was a small child.” Astrology just being her favorite of course.

The bubbly bouncy was soon back as she sat in the comfy chair plus shopping was becoming a topic. This was a great discussion. “Where do I shop?” Oh the giggles and snaps that the headmistress was getting from this. “I love to shop I never care where. Designers are the best of course, but sometimes bills and rent get in the way of the a-mazing names. So that’s when I get thrifty and find the best deals. How else would I get fabulous shoes like these?” She looked down at her heels. They were fabulous and high. They all had to be high when you were only five feet tall.

Oh this headmistress was adorable now wasn’t she? “Oh goodness unruly students? I won’t have any of those. Children aren’t really unruly when the class is exciting.” Divinations was the best class when she was in school so of course when she teaches the class it will be even more exciting and fun. “If the chance comes that I do have one then I will just talk with them nicely and figure out a way to help them enjoy being there.” but that was never going to happen. Children were sooo fun and cute. Eeeep!

Fabtastic? Anastasia was certain she had never heard anyone use that word outside of her gay hairdresser's salon. Fabtastic. Wellp, she was smiling now, if not just because this woman's fabtastic bubbliness was weirdly catchy.

"I wasn't calling you a fake..." in such direct terms. Had Annie accidentally called her a fake though? Maaaaaaaaaybe yes. Fortunately for her, the blonde wasn't too offended... and was moving right on to the topic of her TRUE talent: animal whispering. So she was an ANIMAL PSYCHIC. Ahaaaaaaa!

Oh boy. This was going to be good. "Would you mind doing an animal reading for me, then?" The redhead stood up to go fetch her cat without waiting for a no from Cassie. She continued talking even as she walked off. "I have an old, adorable kitty named Gingersnapple... he usually hates strangers, but since you have a way with animals you say, I have no doubt he will butter right up to you."

She had disappeared into her back room for a second but quickly returned with the orange-striped, squash-faced, fat and fluffy Gingy. The cat meowed lazily as he was deposited into Cassie's lap, and blinked up at her a few times. Then he yaaaaaaaaaaaawned as though he were bored already and rolled over in her lap, making sure his butt was pointed up toward the blonde woman's face.

"Can you tell me what he's thinking?" The Headmistress nodded to her cat and plopped back down in her throne desk chair. "I do love shopping too.... I'm torn between Louboutin and Prada as my favorites." She laughed airily, for of course that wasn't true. What about Zanotti and Valentino and Wang and McQueen? But back to Cassie. Poor woman couldn't afford name brands without thrifting! She received a bit of a sympathetic smile for that. "Those are lovely heels dear... Italian leather?" Looked like it.

But back to the topic of students... surely Cassie was joking when she said students were never unruly in an exciting class! "HAHAHA!" Anastasia threw her head back and chuckled loudly. Talk nicely? She shook her head. "Good one. What about detentions? Do you prefer to monitor your own or have assistant? What kind of punishments are you a fan of?"

Oh goodness, Oh gosh, had she been mistaken. That wasn’t the way she wanted to do this interview. Wrongly accusing the headmistress was not how she saw this going. “I’m sooooo sorry. I didn’t mean to assume.” No that was the wrong thing to do, but the blonde figured it was all good after a moment and just laughed it off. No harm in a mistake.

Brushing a strand of her blonde hair off her shoulder Cassie’s excitement grew with the redhead’s words. “Of course, I thought I sensed a fluffy cutie nearby.” She loved animals all of them. Well not Spiders or creepy crawlies, but she would never hurt them either. Gingersnapple why did she feel like she knew this feline.

Yes she knew him at once. Scratching lightly behind his ears. “You’ve been in this castle before haven’t you?” Fully talking babyish talk to the cat almost forgetting Truebridge was in the room. “I know you have we’ve talked before. I was a sixth or seventh year.” She always remembered the animals she had talked to. Now people she got confused. As the cat moved and stuck it’s butt up Cassie just laughed and scratched his back with her nails.

“Well..” she continued to coo at the kitty. “he doesn’t like to be called old and every time it’s said he uses your favorite plant as his litter box.” Whoops that probably wasn’t very nice. Her green eyes scanned the area wondering if that plant was in the room, but didn’t wish to fully know. “He wants to explore more and maybe find a lady cat his age.” Ohhhh lonely kitty. She started to cringe a bit, “and he’s been eyeing a new pair of pumps you bought I would make sure they are somewhere he can’t get to. Personally I put my shoes in the oven so there is a door to keep my kitties out.” That was such an awesome idea she had.

Her thoughts of the cat distracted by the shopping. “Why be torn just shop everywhere and wear all the wonderful names.” This was her theory at least. No discriminating on the beautiful things. She admired her own shoes before looking back towards the headmistress. “mmhm they are. I just love them.” She loved all her shoes really. An outfit wasn’t fully completed without the perfect shoes.

Laughing with the headmistress though she wasn’t sure why she was laughing until the woman started and said good one as though she had been joking. “Oh detention. Well I hope to never have one, but if I did. Well I guess I would want to monitor my own. Oh another day in the office. It had already started snowing and the sky was so cloudy and gray that Anastasia had absolutely no motivation to do anything. She had letters to answer and Christmas shopping to do, but all she really felt like doing today was staring into her pensieve.

The redhead sat at her desk with her chin in her hands, looking down into the bowl before her and sighing on occasion. Memories. These ones were lovely, of course, as they were all about her Ethan. Maybe that was why she couldn't drag herself away to do something productive...

Today was the day. Heading toward the office Headmistress' office Javy.. was not alone. Literally and metaphorically speaking, heh. Close but not too close behind him was Piers and after everything that escalated between the two within the last month, talks had to be made. It took plenty of coaxing, but finally they were here and now. Javy trusted that Piers wouldn't run off this time as he bared a fist to softly rap his knuckles against the door.. only to have it pushed open. Oops?

"Annie?" Peaking in to just see her sitting and looking quite pensive. Maybe she didn't notice them yet? Pushing the door more open so he and Piers could enter in. "..Is this a bad time?" Waiting to see what would be next.

Piers had sweaty palms. Pierson Fuller NEVER had sweaty palms. Except for this occasion because, yes, today was the day. The day he had been dreading. He still didn't find it completely necessary that Annie had to know, but Javy had been rather insistent about telling her - and that was an understatement.

As they approached her office, Piers stayed a couple feet behind Javy and away from the door so Annie wouldn't SEE him. If he pouted at Javy, would he let him stay outside?
