Front of the train getting full? No worries, there's plenty of room in the back cars. Mind your step and take small children by the hand. Kiss your Ma and your Pa, get the last jab in at your younger siblings, but don't dally!
The Hogwarts Express will be pulling out soon, headed to Hogwarts for another magical year. You may RP your character boarding the train here, saying their goodbyes, and meeting new Hogwarts students.
Mitchell led the way through the wall. "Much different than back home." he said finishing his explanation. His poor cousin. Mitchell remembered his first year and the time it took to adjust to the way the British did magic.
"You'll get used to it. It's more important to know the food differences anyway. That, and someone that likes you, 'fancies' you." Which, was also weird. That and snogging.
"Here's our ride to school." he said nodding toward the train.
Kody's eyes were wide as he followed his cousin around the platform, listening to him explain basically everything about England and what magic was like over here.
"What food differences?" he asked, curious. That seemed like a good thing to know before he was stuck eating at a school he'd never been to. "Fancies," he repeated with a nod. "Gotcha." Weird.
Their ride to school. A train. With it's own magical platform. It was pretty cool, honestly. "Do we have to get on it now? It leaves at eleven, right?" He looked around the platform at everybody that was on it. Nobody seemed in too much of a rush to get on the train.

"They just call things like fries and cookies different things. Also, there's a lot of tea drinking. They have a separate meal for it and everything." Mitchell explained.
Honestly, he was glad to have someone that understood how crazy it was.
"We can get on now if you want. We've still got time." That, and Mitchie was looking for the girlfriend. He scanned the platform hoping to catch her before she had things to do.
"I guess we might as well put our stuff on the train."

"Huh." Kody just looked at Mitch for a moment before shrugging. "Good thing you know what we're doing." And good thing Kody didn't care about being the annoying cousin. He was planning on bothering Mitchell all the time.
"Let's stay here for a minute," he decided. "This is my first time being at a train station. I want to check it out a bit." He started pushing his cart again, looking around as he did.

"Look at all of the owls," he mused.
"Yeah. I know." Mitchell said with a slight smirk. It was nice to be the one that knew what was going on. That title usually fell on Chris. Not that Kody needed to know that.
Too bad he'd be once again sharing a last name with someone? Then again... he wasn't the only Phillips that had gone to Hogwarts. There appeared to be a British strand. One was actually famous or something.
He turned slightly and watched his younger cousin. "First time? Really? I was practically raised on the subway."

Having realized what he said, Kody looked over at Mitchell with a vaguely annoyed expression that he was particularly practiced at giving. "Now, don't be going and getting a big head about it. I'm still smarter than you." Got that, cousin?
He shook his head, waving his hand. "Subways don't count. Those aren't anything special. This is a good, old fashioned train." At least, that's what it looked like. It probably had some magic thing going on with it or something.
"So do you know anyone here other than your girlfriend?" He asked, turning to Mitch and raising an eyebrow. "Just curious."

"Yeah. Well. I'm the one with the girlfriend." Mitchell retorted. "So who is really winning." Him, obviously. Goldilocks was awesome like that.
"Oh. Yeah. This one is a relic." he said nodding toward the train. He was indifferent about it. He glanced at his cousin again slightly curious as to if he'd always liked trains. Mitchell didn't know.
"Yeah. I do." he said with a nod. "Just none that I can makeout with." Hence, the reason he was always hanging out with his girlfriend.

Beverly could tell they had both been thinking the same thing but she got to it first. Beat yah, Walker. She shot him a grin when he dropped a kiss on her head, her face flushing instantly. First: she was still getting used to PDA, as innocent and small as they were. Second: Dad and Kennedy were standing RIGHT behind her.
Awkward? No awkward? She was choosing to ignore them.
"You lost me...again. One day--"
A Gabriel Banner appeared. As a great Head Girl once said, whispering is rude, Banner boy. She couldn't believe she was quoting Alexa Cambridge's first words to her. LOL. But now that she thought about it, Jeremiah has never introduced her to his friend. Rude.
"You're Gabriel, I'm Beverly." She paused at what sounded like a choked laugh somewhere behind her. If Kennedy was making fun of her--he was going to get punched for that. >___<
Then someone else (Nemo) joined the party by accident. One was enough okay. Beverly still didn't have this 'people person' thing down and she didn't appreciate people dropping in, especially ones she didn't know. She was working on it, okay? Okay. She was cool.

"Nimbus? Like the broom?" she ask as she peered her face towards the kneazle...only to have it scamper off before she could pet it. Cue a frown on the Hufflepuff's face. "Paper is an interesting choice. I reckon that means he eats some of your assignments? Pity most professors will think that you are lying when you are in fact telling the truth."
Rather ironic, really.
Following the kneazle's movements, she caught the end of the older Ravenclaw's wave. The one that had kind-of-sort-of-not-really tried to hex her in the library once. It was her fault. She had spooked him. She returned his wave subtly as she noticed someone else he was talking to.
NEMO! She gave him an eager wave and then looked back to Dot.
"Do...we need to go looking for Nimbus? It would be terribly for him to miss the train and not be able to give you a gift of bugs." Because she assumed that was what the kneazle was off doing now.
"Not a broom. Like a cloud. He's a fluffy little gray happy cloud," Dot tried to explain, but of course not like a broom. She'd had to think forever about things that were gray, about names, about kneazles, and Dot was quite pleased to have found Nimbus' name. But he wasn't named for a broom. "He eats paper only when it's had something good on it or near it or around it, I think, so never homework. But notes. And candy wrappers."
She caught the end of his tail and dragged Nimbus back toward her. He didn't fuss, and she soon had him in her arms like a baby. "He's not going to wander off. I've got my eye on him. What's your little owl thing called? I want one, but they're not so good for cuddling."

Well, this was it. Luc's seventh year. His last year at Hogwarts had finally arrived. Luckily for him he didn't have to go through this all alone as he arrived through the wall with his girlfriend with their trollies. His dear older cousin Wade was busy with his Quidditch practices, Indy was babysitting his other cousins, and Uncle Charely had to work super earlier so this was super nice despite them not being here. Sides. He was chronologically seventeen now. A real man. Hehe. So he believed.
After they emerged from the other side of the wall, he took in the familiar sight of the train and all the other people roaming around. Beaming down at Claudette, "Here we are.. you excited?" Luc definitely was and a little nervous too.

Seventh year. Claudette was entering her last year at Hogwarts. One more year and then she was thrust into adulthood with no idea what she wanted to do with her life or work with. Glancing sideways at Luc, she flashed him a warm smile as they emerged with their trollies on the platform. Claudette was actually relieved that her parents had been too busy to see her off at the station. It was easier this way. She had Luc and that was enough. And if she really needed an adult she could always go knock on uncle Leo's door.
Claudette took in the familiar sight of the train and all the people roaming around the platform before she leaned in closer to Luc saying. "Yes, I'm excited, but nervous too. It's Newt year. I hope we don't fail all our exams."
Oh, how we drift away from our friends. And the ones back home play remember when
Cilla had made her way to the platform. Going through the wall between platforms 9 and 10 was quite unnerving. Cilla's parents thought it was best not to go through with her so Cilla was now by herself and looking around.

It had taken them, meaning his parents, at least five minutes to say goodbye to him. Kevin had enough of his mother embarrassingly hugging him in front of everyone and his father kept telling him not to get in to trouble this year and to be a good student for once.
He promised all of this with his fingers crossed behind his back and he wished for them to go away before anyone recognized him.
After they left, Kevin sighed heavily and sat on top of his trunk, lost in thought.

Jasmine had managed to convince her mother that she should accompany Janelle to the train station. Her little sister was going off to Hogwarts and she was not. That was strange and Jasmine was feeling a tad nostalgic. She would be off to the university and her new life in a few days. For now though, she was hoping to see a few of her friends before the train left.
Janelle stared wide eyed at all of the students on the platform. They would soon be her classmates. The thought of being away from home with a bunch of strangers filled her with panic for a moment. She usually had no trouble making friends, but would this time be different? Looking at her sister, Janelle asked, "Do you know any of these people?"

Like a cloud? "Clouds...have names?" she asked, her head cocked to the right and nuzzling her owl while her other hand played with some of her curls. "How do you know that?" She was genuinely curious. Dot was wicked smart and just seemed so much more naturally inclined to academics than Paige was. Maybe some of that could rub off on her if she asked the right questions. "Oh! I get it. Your kneazle has good tastes."
And Dot should just make sure not to spill anything yummy on her homework.
She may have gasped when Dot reached out and pulled her familiar back in by the tail. Wasn't that...not allowed? The kneazle didn't seem to mind it though, so maybe not. "Oh, how rude of me not to introduce you properly! This is Lionel, my Eurasian pygmy owl. He doesn't eat paper, but does like to nip the buttons off my clothes sometimes."

Having had gone through the Wall with little protest on his part, Aegis pushed his cart down further down until he was at the Southern most part of the Platform. He set his things down and fed Valentine some pellets, who seemed ten times more delightful to be coming back to Hogwarts then he was for his first time. "Yeah, well you can show me around the Owlrey then." the Tall Blonde huffed under his breathe back to his Eagle Owl who hooted with Delight.
Aegis was now just looking for a spot to load up onto the train, until his eyes landed on one kid whom he recognized from a few weeks ago! "You!" he shouted to the kid a dozen or so feet from where he was standing! "You, wait right there!" He shoved his Cart headed in the direction of where the kid stood! Aegis was gonna really REALLY let this kid have it for his accusatory stunt he pulled at the Leaky! Also leaving a painful red mark on his Upper Lip when the Barkeep yanked his fake mustache off his face!

Of course this Social Badger could not stay in one place. He just had to wander around the rest of the Platform looking for more of his friends. So, he took off for a bit towards the South side leaving Gus with Conrad and his three closest friends.
Adi waved to a few persons and even intended on going to say a quick hello to them but was distracted by...
"JASMINE!" Yep, Adi had shouted that but it didn't matter, did it? He wasn't disturbing anyone for the Platform was loud with voices and various animal sounds. He bounded over to his friend though at one point he thought his eyes might have been playing tricks on him. But there she was, the same Jasmine from a few months back. And there was a little person with her. Who was that?
But right now, he just directed his attention to the recent graduate whom he greeted with a hug. "Hello, hello. I'm glad I got to see you again."

Zhenya had just lugged her trunk onto the train, but didn't want to sit in her compartment just yet. Not when there were people she could meet, and friends she could see again.
She was looking around at the station on the South Side and… squinted. Was that? Yes… "JASMINE!!" Zhenya squealed, running towards her friend, the grown up, and giving her a HUGE hug!
"Oh Jasmine! I'm so happy to see you! Where… what…? Are you a Professor?!" She asked, excited. Seriously? Her friend was coming back to Hogwarts as a professor? That was AWESOME!

Jon might have been a little emotional about this. Was that silly? He'd really grown attached to these kids. Even if Ollie didn't care for him he cared for Ollie.
Buuuuut maybe it was Timmy that he was the most sad about leaving. He knew he needed to be here for Aria, she was surely going to be emotional. "I'm sure they're gonna be fine, I'd be more worried about the school than these two." He said and squeezed her hand. He was being dragged along in the long chain of their hands. Maybe he was looking ahead, eleven years from today to the day he'd be taking his own daughter here..a scary thought.

"Now we can stop planning to do stuff and actually do them! LIKE FOOD FIGHTS.
As soon as he heard his mum mentioned being homeschooled, his eyes went wide and he listened closely to make sure Jon didn't agree. There was no way they could take this away from them. THEY WERE SO CLOSE. Hearing his response, he smiled a little, but not too much so he didn't look too happy, and nodded. "Hogwarts is the best school. We'll be fine. Timmy and I will take care of each other." Mhm. He had been thinking of things to say to her just in case she got too nervous. He knew making sure mum knew he and Timmy would be together would keep her a little happy.
Aria nodded. "They always have a way of keeping themselves safe. I'm surprised the new house is still in one piece with these to living there," The blonde midget grinned. She thought back to all the years she had been raising them on her own and all those exhausting days they were just too hyper to control. Sometimes she missed those tough days, but she preferred these that were much easier now. Crouching down a bit with her swollen belly, Aria kissed Ollie head and smiled. "You two better. Please don't get into too much trouble. It's only your first year," She was going to start crying soon. Aria could just feel it. Instead, she pulled the twins towards her and hugged them tightly.
"We've been waiting all our lives for this! We are keeping our promise to still hang out even if we don't land in the same houses, right?" Because how could Ollie forget his own twin. His PRETTY twin sister! That was just plain rude. Timmy nodded many times at her brother. "What's first on the list, boss?" He had made a list, right??? Hearing their mum talk, Timmy turned towards her and smiled. She completely agreed on what Ollie told her. They always looked after each other. Even if they were angry with one another. Next thing she knew, their mum had pulled them into a tight hug. Timmy immediately hugged her back; smile slowly fading from her face.

Wrapping him in a hug, she said, "It's good to see you too." Pulling her sister forward, she said, "This is my sister Janelle". "She's a brand new first year." Then Jasmine turned her attention back to Janelle. "This is Adi. See I do know some of these people and Adi is a great person to know."
Janelle watched as the older boy approach them. So this was one of Jas' friends. Mhmmmm. Putting on her best "I'm eleven and very mature face", Janelle stepped forward and held out her hand. "Hi, it's nice to meet you." See, she had manners.

Before she knew it, Jasmine was engulfed in another hug. "Zhenya!!", she cried. Another of the best people at Hogwarts. Now Jasmine was starting to think that coming to the station wasn't such a good idea. She was going to miss her friends terribly. At the University, she would be starting all over........again.
Shaking those thoughts, Jasmine focused back on Zhenya and Adi. "How are you Zhenya?". I'm so glad to have a chance to see my friends again. This is my sister Janelle. She's going to Hogwarts this year." Making the next introduction, Jasmine said, "J. This is my other friend Zhenya."
Jasmine began to laugh at Zhenya's next question. "Professor? Merlin no. I'm just dropping off my sister. I'm off to school myself in a few days."
Another friend? Well at least she would know two people at her new school. Janelle extended her hand again and addressed friend number two. "Nice to meet you", she said, just as her parents had taught her. Jasmine's friends seemed nice enough. Hopefully there would be more like that once she got to school.

This was it...the Hogwarts Express, Margo had been dreaming about it for weeks. She couldn't believe the day had finally come to when she was going to be boarding the train. Her father like usual was too busy to come see her off...it hurt her feelings again and again that her father pretending to be busy just so he was not involved in the magical world. He knew her mother was a witch before marrying her, so why when they had children he thought things were going to be any different Margo wasn't sure.
But now was not the time for sad faces, now was the time to find a seat, maybe a friend or two and wish her mother good-bye. Margo's mother had gone to find a trolley for her things so she sat waiting toward the end of the train...waiting for something magical to happen.
Aria nodded. "They always have a way of keeping themselves safe. I'm surprised the new house is still in one piece with these to living there," The blonde midget grinned. Jon nodded. "Like i said i'm more worried about Hogwarts than these two. Not that we won't miss you both." He knew things were hard for he and Ollie but still.. He would miss the kid.
Watching Aria hug them he figured this was a moment he'd let them have though seeing Timmy's face he couldn't help but chuckle a little bit. He smiled at her and hoped this would be a good year for her. He felt really protective..but really proud of these kids.

Aegis was gonna really REALLY let this kid have it for his accusatory stunt he pulled at the Leaky! Also leaving a painful red mark on his Upper Lip when the Barkeep yanked his fake mustache off his face!
He had kind of hoped to meet Zander at the platform before entering the train because he didn't feel like sitting alone the whole train ride...again. But he couldn't see him anywhere. He sighed as he played with his fingers out of boredom when suddenly a cart was right in front of him.
ZANDER?! ....he looked up half grinning but then frowned when it was no Zander. Mweh. This person though, standing in front of him , looked familiar . Kevin scratched the back of his head while trying to remember where he had seen--ah! "'Sup Facial Fur" he grinned, remembering him clearly now. "I see you got out of that bar" since he had left before him and hadn't looked back. "And you're blocking my view" ....of the train. "go away"
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.

Aegis did nothing but scowl at him. "My name's not Facial Fur. It's Aegis!" He took a moment of glaring to attempt some kind of come back nickname, but at most he was coming up with was Not-Stealthy-Low-Quality-Drink-Sneak-Thiefer...so Aegis wasn't going to do that! He was going to be the better man! "I did, no thanks to you. I was gonna help you out. If you hadn't shifted blame."
Move, so he can see the Train? "I'm not moving, just look to your left or right. It's a Big Train. Besides, it's my Birthday. My Gift from you is an Apology for what happened at the Bar." So now he needed his gift to be given.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

....Aegis. His name was Aegis? seriously? "Of all the names your parents could have given you they called you Aegis?" Kevin snickered. "They must not really like you right?" His glaring didn't do anything to him though, if anything, he simply gave a glare back. Wait...he was going to help him out at the bar? "Wow! what i big help you have been" he said sarcastically and rolled his eyes. "In case you haven't noticed, the barkeeper saw YOU making those BIG movements and ridiculous fake mustache. I could have grabbed the bottle with ease if it weren't for you" Yes, he totally believed that his stealth was the best while in reality he needed some working on it. "I shifted the blame on you so you could learn from it, aren't i nice?" he smiled sweetly at him but then groaned when he didn't want to move. AND he had to say an apology?!
Kevin laughed. Out loud now , tears were welling up in his eyes. "You're so funny!" bwahahaha! apology! bwahahaha! "It had been my birthday at the bar and i got nothing. So you're not getting anything for your birthday either" easy right? But...one thing had been bothering him though? "Are you new or something? I've never seen you before...i think " The castle was full with dumb people, they were all the same. Except for Zander. GOOBER FOR LIFE!

Was there steam bursting from his ears yet!? Aegis was certainly trying his hardest to make it seem that way! "My Parents loved me very much!" Aegis jabbed a finger into the kids chest angrily. Bringing up his parents was touchy subject. Aegis didn't care if this kid knew that, or not! "I bet you don't even know what my name means!? Yeah and, I bet my name is cooler than yours..."Not-Stealthy-Low-Quality-Drink-Sneak-Thiefer
"I don't care when your Birthday was, you were clearly going to get caught by that Dude. I know cause I caught you too. You should take help here you can get it." If that's how it was gonna be. He would rather not get an apology from him. It would be bitter, NO worse! it would be tasteless. "Why do you care if I'm new or not."He was, but why should this kid know that!? He can find out later! Merlin he hoped he wouldn't be sorted into the same House as Not-Stealthy-Low-Quality-Drink-Sneak-Thiefer.
