This is the Quotable Quips thread, a place in SS Hogwarts Haven made just for keeping the events/posts that are just too good to lose. Of course, as all good threads go, there are a couple of rules:
Please remember to abide by the following guidelines or your posts may be deleted.
1. All quotes must come from the School RPG. In the case of students being RPed outside the School RPG, they can still be quoted, just so long as it is the student characters. No KA, DA, MoM character quotations here, please.
2. Post only quotes. Comments can be submitted in the chat thread or via private message/visitor messages.
3. In the event that something memorable occurs and it is either a large body of text (more than 6/7 sentences) or a collaboration of multiple posts by multiple people, then please submit it under a textcut*.

And then back to the boy, PLAYING with the ball that should have been HIS. Yeah, it was basically his now. But before he could snatch it, the boy threw it into the air. Cam didn't use his hands. He wanted to show-off even though he hated show-offs. So he caught the ball WITH HIS MOUTH and waited for the applaud and claps.
Behind him, he waved at Reese. Well she was obviously in a good mood today and she was NOT hanging around. Hanging around meant to hang something. She was not hung, she was such a liar! He still laughed for no reason though and then took a few steps back once she put his arms out. Wha-WHAT!? And she was hugging him, hugging him reaaal tight. Reese smelled nice, all girls smelled nice.
But did she have her cootie shot?!
So he was left in that big bear hug and his eyes twitching again. Twitch, twitch. "EEEEEEEK! QUICK, THE CUUURE!" He pulled out his finger which went out to Reese's shoulder. "Circle circle," he made two circles, "Dot dot." Two dots, almost done. "Now you've got the cootie shot."
"There!" He did it to himself also just to be safe. Cooties were horrible, he did it for Reese's own sake! Then at the corner of his eye, he stared at something crawling on the ground. Could it be?!
"GUYS, LOOK! It's an ant-sized troll!"
Ant-sized trolls, he was crazy about them and this sure proved that they were a real species. He ran over to the thing and then put it on the palm of his hand. "Awwe, it's re--," he stopped when he finally realized what the thing was. It wasn't an ant-sized troll or anything. The thing was a spider. A huge spider, it seemed like a tarantula even. His fear for spiders was tremendous, he hated insects and what-not!
"EWWWW. EEEEEEEH!" He screamed like a girl at the top of his lungs and then threw it randomly in the air. It looked like a flying spider right now and he put his hand over his mouth.
The tarantula was heading for Reese's head. Or face.

Reese was screaming, like...really loud. Emiliano needed to do something, but what...Ok...it was a hard decision to do. Touch the spider to get it off Reese's face?
But, what if it bit him? ...no time to doubt, you have to save the day, Em. He thought to himself and took a deep breath before daring to touch the tarantula. Ok...it was easy, he had owned one for a week, while Diana found out because of her allergies that Emiliano was keeping a pet at home.
So, he slowly, approached Reese, face to face and said in a whisper, "Calm down...you definitely don't want the spider to bite you..." and with a sudden move, he touched the hairy, small and insignificant arachnid with the tip of his fingers. With lots of care, he approached a window and let the tarantula go.
Not too easy...but...he was obviously scared too.

And then he looked at the Reese who was now face-spiderless and took a few steps back. Gulp. Breaath. She won't hurt me, will she?! ZAHMAHGAWSH, SHE WILL. So Cam quickly ran behind his lemur and hugged her from behind. Right now he really didn't care if she was shot by the cootie shot already.
"Leema. Lemurwoman, SAVE MEEEEE." Cam was going to die. And he knew it.

Well of course he did.
And then suddenly he was hit in the back of the head, it was some Hufflepuff boy that was acting crazy. "Ouch!" Cam looked at the fight and the professor and decided to ignore it. So he closed his eyes so he wouldn't meet Reese's glare (he was really facing towards the wall, not Reese). "My last words aree..."
Cam started to crawl on the ground, he wanted to get away from the freaky Reese. "It was only a spider, now back offf!" He continued to crawl with his knees and hands, away from the group that was about to kill him.

The Ravenclaw boy came to the rescue though! Right when the boy took hold of her hand he crawled away again and wanted to leave the whole thing. It wasn't his fault he had a fear for spiders. It wasn't his fault at all.

He made a smirk. Of course, he knew the answer to that question. They would say "no, you aren't weird Cam!" Since he was NOT a weirdo by one bit. And then he saw another familiar face.
"KAARMIEEEEE." Cam skipped away from the group, especially from that crazy Reese and went towards Karma. She was like, so awesome for saving him that day. Right? There was that girl from the corridor he didn't know and she was talking about miles. REESE WAS GOING TO CHASE HIM FOR 5 MILES?! NU. NUUUUUU.
"REESE, YOU'RE A CRAZY WOMAN!" He couldn't run for five miles, that was crazy! And why were they talking about this Miles like he was some sort of a person? Miles? Miles?
"Ohhhh. If it's a person, I wanna meet him then!"
While asking, he nodded at what the Ravenclaw boy said and kept nodding. It seemed to be a perfect description of him... kinda. "Wait, wut's your name you?"

Well,that's all.The RP was never finished,soooo,I guess we will never know what would have happened to Cam

To Cam, the girl was pretty and her hair made her look even more prettier. Oh wait, he shouldn't have said that. He was indeed a believer of cooties and it was illegal to say that, it sounded wrong to him that he would think a girl was pretty. Hehe. Well there were a few girls he thought was pretty and couldn't really stop from liking them, but like this one, they were way too old for him.

And cinnamon, oh the sweet smell of cinnamon. It reminded him that he didn't eat much at the Great Hall or else he would've been late for classes and this girl certainly made him super hungry. The sound of his stomach grumbling came up, and he basically punched his own stomach in front of the girl's eyes.
It was a very odd thing to do, but he couldn't resist his stomach making noises that sounded like someone abusing a goat. If this girl smelled like cinnamon, then--Idea. Idea. Idea. Animal instincts. They were starting, and his eyes just shined and his face turned into a face of a maniac.
Cam couldn't stop his intention to... bite the girl's hand to see if she tasted like cinnamon too. UGH. CAN'T. STOP. URGE. His mouth was already open and showed his almost white teeth in front of her. Now he looked like some nutcracker man, about to break something. Surely the girl would probably run away by now from this.
Yummy cinnamon. Think about the yummy cinnamon.
She. Probably. Tastes... He couldn't stop himself really, so he basically fell down on the floor and twitched his body now and then, he looked about a total freak just about now. But his mouth was still open though, he wanted some cinnamon. He wanted cinnamon NOW.

I didn't want to be around anymore and I just couldn't handle where my thoughts were leading me, they were leading me to believe that you weren't going to ever forgive me and that our friendship was over. I hope that you and Chase are happy together and that he treats you right, if I find out that he doesn't, well let's just say he'll regret it." Amanda said, not even eluding to whether or not she was going to forgive Whitney, she had to think quickly and make a decision properly.
"I just wanted to be happy in my life for a change and have someone to love, but I see that there are other things much more important in my life. Like my music career, which is going quite well. Anyways, I do forgive you for this because I don't really know what I would do if I didn't have you as one of my awesome friends." She added and gave Whitney a small smile.

I only did that to him because he was mean to me, and he needed, like, to know not to mess with me right now..." Bowing his head Jake mumbled, "I shouldn't have done it... but... he deserved it!"
Jake brought up a fist and rubbed his eyes dry, acting rather like a much younger kid than eleven years of age. But he was unaware of this, and so he did it anyway. "Do you promise... promise he won't get me?" Jake asked, looking up at Reese, seeking confirmation in her face, somehing he wasn't all that good at.
Closing his eyes as Reese ran her fingers through his hair, Jake battled to keep his eyes open. He shose not to answer the 'how many times' question, as well as some others. But he had to point out something. "I'm not tired," he mumbled, again at the same time as ironically yawning. "I don't need to sleep."
Even as he said this, Jake reached up and hugged Reese around the neck, before laying his head on his shoulder and drifting straight to sleep, arms still in their hugging positions around Reese's neck.
So now he had two sister-like figures, Paris and Reese. Both were protective of Jake and he couldn't need more of that just then.

Irritated and hatred are two different things.” She slightly nodded her head. “You could have done something else instead of pulling his sideburn off. You know he has a reputation to hold onto. I bet you made him the laughing stock of the school.” She thought back to when she saw Cale sideburn less for the first time. Right after Jake did his business. Haha. It was a funny site seeing him in the condition. She grinned at the thought of it, but the grin faded away quickly. “Stillll,” she went on. “You could have talked to him or something. But, Jake, I want you to know now that I’m not going to hold that incident against you. I’m going to forget about that day and start over new.” She gently smiled at him.
Reese heard the question Jake asked. Her brown eyes looked straight into his blue eyes and she nodded. “I promise I will not let Jack get to you. I will do everything to keep you safe,” she told him, trying so hard to hold back her tears. As she spoke, her eyes did move. They stayed on Jake’s eyes. “I promise,” she repeated.
“You are tired,” Reese corrected Jake. “You need to-“Before she could finish her sentence, Jake reached up and hugged her neck. “I love you Jake,” she whispered to him. When he started to doze off, Reese reached over to her bag, it was quite hard since Jake was hugging her next but she managed to get it. She took the blanket and covered Jake with it. She smiled at Jake then bent down and kissed him on the forehead. “Sleep well,” she whispered.

Those funny thoughts entailed the gingered female being smothered herself with TOADS, all over her body and face and bloody red hair . . . attacking her with slobbery, germy kisses.

Aggie was running down the hallway like a bat flying out of hade’s gate. She slipped as she turned a sharp corner and grabbed onto the tapestry hanging there to catch her balance. Her feet fumbled bellow her a little before she managed to catch herself.
She glanced behind her wondering if she were safe only to see the raging rhinoceros, erm – Tobi, gaining ground on her.
“Eek!” she managed to get out through rapidly sucked in breaths. He still looked as steamed as he did when he came tearing out of the Transfiguration Maze. “Don’t turn me into bunny slippers!” she yelled back at him before taking off for the stairs.

CLANG! It hit a suit of armour.
Tobi winced and kept on running, he could hear the wheezy cursing of the disgruntled suit as he rounded the corner.
"Are you allowed to use such language in a school?" he called over his shoulder. He was only mildly interested.
He would not be deterred. He would pay her back in kind for getting him lost, nearly bursting his eardrums, and just about burning him alive.
Aggie had disappeared down the staircase but Tobi had plenty of energy left. He'd have her yet. He followed.
Moving Staircase

“Ha!Ha!” she exclaimed landing on the top step. Then she stumbled awkwardly and had to cling to the railing as her purple shod feet slipped out from under her. She landed a couple of stairs further down on her bum. “Ouch….”

It was odd really, the extra effort she put into being quiet considering how loud the stairs were when they reconnected with another level. Aggie didn’t care though, she was too preoccupied with staying unscathed from the Raging Rhino’s out of control temper. An odd irony struck her. Wasn’t it merely weeks ago that Tobi had dragged Aggie out for a walk because of her temperament? Funny how the tides change.
There was nobody waiting for her at the bottom. She looked left, then right, then inched forward into the hallway. Nothing. It was almost eerily quiet.If I can make it outside, she thought. I think I can loose him. A part of her wondered if Sho was around to save her. Then another part wondered if Sho would even bother?
She took off running feeling confident she had a good head start. She bolted left down the corridor that would lead her down the Great Hall. Her purple tennis shoes made a soft plat plat sound as she ran. The lack of Tobi noise gave her more confidence that she had lost him and so she sped up as she rounded another counter and then –

Aggie had come darting around the corner and sent him flying backwards.

Tobi took the stairs Aggie had disappeared down three at a time. This was perhaps not the best idea. Even if you have the unnaturally long legs of A 6'2" gangling wizard.
Tobi felt himself begin to fall before he impacted. "Oh blast it all," he said as his (even less graceful, as little he does is ever graceful) assent began.
WHUMP! BANG! CRASH! BOOOOM!
"I meant to do that," he announced dryly from a heap from the bottom of the staircase. Aggie's robes were just swishing around the corner, he knew it was her by those awful purple tennis shoes, which he could see (for a brief moment) quite well from his position.
But the chase was still a foot. He would NOT be deterred! Tobi struggled to his feet and set off again, still running to beat the band, but mighty sore.
Fourth Floor Corridor

At least the smacking pounding sound of Tobi’s large footsteps in the hallway behind her informed her that he hadn’t broken anything. Yet.
The 4th floor corridor was quite straight. Onward she ran, weaving around a few people. Past the Bathroom man she could really use a pit stop. Past the Mirror. Past the Tapestry.
She came to the next set of stairs and glanced behind her which turned out to be a big mistake. Tobi was about four steps behind her. “Agghhh!”
Without another thought, she tossed a leg over the railing and slid down the banister. “You’re not turning me into bunny slippers Tobi!”

For a moment he considered going down the same way she had, but no, that could... be uncomfortable.
Instead he ran down the stairs at full tilt, this time without incident. He'd caught up with her twice, he could do it again.

Tobi stood at the top of the stairs, dumbfounded and out of breath.
"A-aggie!" he gasped, "Come back h-ere so I can jinx y-ou pro-operly!"

But he knew that squeal anywhere. It was coming from the opposite end of the corridor.
It was amazing how fast she could move! She had been running from him since the 6th floor, and still managed to evade him, with a few close calls. If he didn't catch her by relying on speed and stamina soon, he was going to have to rely on guile. But that he could do.
There was one thing that would get Aggie to give herself up. He would just have to let her get outside, which, if he knew Aggie, was exactly where she was going. And it in itself was a sort of revenge...
Tobi slacked off a bit as he rounded a corner past more suits of armor. He regarded them apprehensively. There was one on the 6th floor that was rather angry with him.
Aggie was at the top of the staircase going down to the first floor.
"You can't run forever Aggie!" he blustered, hoping this would send her fleeing down the staircase.

"Oh, you're in for it now, Agatha." Tobi promised, and all but flew out the doors.

The raging rhino was too upset to be put asunder too easily. So,with a hop, a skip, and a very big jump Aggie bolted onto a bench, and then over the far wall of the courtyard where she quickly hunkered down.
With any luck, he would pass right by her thinking she took off for the lake.

"Oh, I have SO got you now!" He announced triumphantly, which was an accident, because that was meant to be an internal monologue of triumph, so as not to give away that he was still in pursuit.

Tobi, meanwhile, was stalking forward towards her like a rhino eyeing up a rather tasty dandelion – ripe for the eating. Aggie gulped and tried to move but her treacherous legs wouldn’t go.

So one thing about the Accio Charm, especially if you aren't good at Charms, be clear about what you want to summon. And never let your mind stray to anything but what you wanted to summon or something like this can happen:
Jeeves hooted and flew up into the air, decidedly away form Tobi. what came flying at Tobi was an object just a little smaller than a tennis ball, and it flew out of Aggie's pocket.
It was her Birdie Ball, guaranteed to fly for at least 50 feet no matter how poor a thrower you are. Tobi was less than half that distance away when he managed to summon it.
So when it smashed into his nose, it did so with authority.
Tobi flew backwards, registering a sickening crunch that he had heard once before, the time Caroline had stolen her broom back from him as he was flying it, and he hit his face against the garden wall.
Tobi had broken his nose. Again.

Jeeves was sitting safely up in a tree completely oblivious to the fact that he had nearly become house shoes. She inched forward a step, pausing to see if Tobi would stir. He didn’t. She didn’t hear a moan or a groan, an eep or a peep. “Tobi?” she asked quietly. “Are you dead?”

She reached for Tobi’s hand with her free one and pulled it over to his face. “Come now, hold this.” When he did, she slipped an arm under him and carefully sat him up. “Anything else bleeding?” She ran her hand through his hair to make sure he didn’t have a cracked skull. He sure had hit the pavement rather hard there. “Anything else feel like it’s broken? No? Then good. Off to the medi-wing we go”
He groaned. Aggie mistook this as a sign that he didn’t want to go. “No complaining Mr. Bloody Face. You’re going and that’s final.”
And so, with a very tall and bloody Tobi leaning against her, Aggie on her jelly-legs, huffed and puffed and lead Tobi back up to 4th floor.

SPOILER!!: Amanda's Display of Slytherin Pride at the Quidditch Match vs. Hufflepuff
Amanda was fully decked out in Slytherin colours for this occasion, wearing her new Slytherin robes, her face had a serpent painted on it and she even dyed her hair green and silver for the game. She may have looked like an idiot, but she had a lot of house pride and she was going to show it.
"Let's Go Slytherin!" She cheered from the stands proudly, she wanted to see how this game was played fully so she was ready for tryouts next term.
Amanda suddenly thought of an idea that would make an awesome cheer for Slytherin, she stood up and took a breath. It was all or nothing now, she was determined to show her house pride no matter how much of an idiot it made her look.
"Slytherin! Slytherin! We are the mighty Slytherin!" She chanted loudly and waved her banner.
I HAD TO...because I laughed sooooooooooooooo hard...

Nothing could have prepared him to the distress he was hearing from her. Yes it was true that at some points they didn't have trouble speaking to each other since they were nothing in between but now... Pressing her index finger to her lips as her gaze met Sams, ignoring any surprise or frustration hinted on her face, Vannah waited for the silence to be broken by Lex this time.

But wait, she wasn't finished with the Animal Abuser yet! AHA! "Don't listen to her!" Annie hollered, pointing an accusatory finger at Less. "She's evil! She smacked Niffley! AND SHE SMELLS FUNNY!"
Anastasia pounced on them both again, knocking Copernicus and Less over without further ado. "Where's Mr. Niffley? WHAT did YOU DO to HIM, WOMAN?" She sat on Less' legs, not letting her go til she 'fessed up.
"I didn't do nothing!! Off me bunny! Get off, you're hurting me!!!" She said and spied Copernicus out of the corner of her eye. "Kill it Pernipoo, Kill it!" She said trying to get out from under from the Bunny. Her arms began flailing, "Eddie! Maxie! Help me!!! Bunny got rabies or something!" and then she realized something. "Don't make me bite you Bunny... I got cursed teeth!"
"True that" he nodded as he took the bet down. "Anyone else want to lay a bet? Girl fight like you've NEVER seen before."
She turned back to Alessia and wrinkled her nose. "Cursed teeth? Is that your code word for cavaties?"
Annie cackled madly and decided to go with an older-school insult. "Take THAT," she hocked a lugie up and aimed for the other girl's hair, "PFOOOOOOTOOIE!" And to add insult to injury, she reached her hand down and rubbed it in. Right into her FAKE, DYED roots.
"EWWWWWW!!!!" Ok... no one was coming to her rescue... She grabbed a handful of Bunny's red hair and pulled it hard. "I SAID. GET! OFF!" She said. Pinching her and twisting the pinch!
"OWWWWWIEEEEEEEE!" Annie whined, trying to twist her head out of Less' grip and failing miserably. "Dat hhhhurrrts," she cried, glaring daggers at the blonde."YOU'RE A WITCH!" the redhead yelled, spitting all over her face now. She used her free hand to give Less and nice, hard slap on the face. And then she slapped her other cheek, and kept slapping from side to side. "LET. ME. GO!!!"
"You are sooooo gross!!!" She said to her and kneed her in her tummy. Her nails now were out, and she growled that inhuman growl... She let go of the pinchy spot to scratch her face, but kept pulling the hair until a handful of the red hair was pulled out.
"Shooooo?" Bunbunz sputtered, coating Less in drool some more. But AHA she stopped pinching at last - YESH! Annie ignored the emotional pain she felt upon seeing a hunk of her precious red hair in the other girl's hand.
No matter - this was an opportunity! Thinking fast, Annie whipped out her wand and pointed it at Less' nose, intending to cast Furnunculus or something on her face, when she heard something....
Less stood... covered in drool. That was it! She was evil!!! But... candy treasure mountain??? She ran to hug Paris and wiped drool all over her... then skipped towards the other professors, and as she took her wand out, she aimed it at Bunbunz hair... casting a silent diffindo charm.

Eddie grabbed a chocolate frog off the floor and jumped out of the way as BunBuns attacked Less. AWESOME!!!!

"Five on Less cause she's got wicked claws," Max said as he slapped Paris's hand away from the bag. "MINE. Hands off!" Robert looked at Forrester and saw he was serious. Betting against the Professors? Was that even allowed? "Umm...6 on Bunbury I suppose." This was crazy!
"Good, good." He made a note about that, 11 on BunBuns and 6 on Less."Any other takers???"
Amanda took out her coin pouch with a smirk. "I've got 30 galleons on Bunbury." She said, rattling about 30 gold coins in her left hand. That was a sufficent bet since she wasn't going to bet huge to be smart. She tossed her coin pouch back into her pocket, putting her right hand back in the pocket as well.
"Nice!" Eddie made a note of this new bet. "COME ON BUNBURRY!!!!!!!!!! KICK HER BUTT!"
"Oooh, I'll put ten on Less, I mean Professor Lupa" she said pulling some money out of her pocket.
He nodded and wrote that down as well.
"I've got 10 galleons on the Pink Punisher!" She told him.

"Okay," murmured the fifth year, as she removed her hand carefully from his grasp. "Just remember -in the case that you don't end up liking it- that I did ask you, and you said anything." Something very warm seemed spread inside of her.
Ignoring the feeling inside of her, Willow's eyes went from the door to Dominic's face, and then locked on his eyes. Both of her hands reached for his face now, the tip of her fingers resting very lightly on his cheekbones. Trying not to duel too much on the fact that her cheeks were a bit warmer than they should be, the brunette stretched on her tip toes as much as she could--Dominic Denton being significatively much taller than her was really a disadventage for her right now.
And then, her lips pressed against his.
Though it only lasted for barely a second, Willow was still able to taste lemon. That, and the fact that they were really soft, and that for the second her lips touched his it felt utterly right. No, not right - it felt abosolutely perfect.
She let go of his face. "Well, I - I should go now. I'll see you later, Dominic Denton." Right? She hoped. And after giving him one last look, the girl exited the broom cupboard, a million of thoughts running through her head at the same time.
So, this totally made my day. . . The part that I bolded made me LOL.

Mwhaha. I just had to post this, for two simple reasons. One - it was my charrie Jenn was yelling at, and I was actually laughing out loud when she attacked him and two - It's one sure-fired way to show everyone Jenn has a temper, and is not to be messed with on a bad day

If she were honest with herself, it was none of her business. But she detested that man, and she felt that his picking on the child was excessive. And he was picking on her too! He was making fun of her with that smug expression, daring her to say something. Well she was saying something!!!
